#resident evil#resident evil 4#ada wong#I ACCIDENTALLY MADE THIS CANVAS SO SMALL SO I HAD TO RESIZE AND NOW ITS BLURRY AHHHHHHHH#its fine but ITS NOT FINE IT BOTHERS ME SO MUCH LOL#i had to switch mice for this. the other one was so slippery. i dunno if its because its wireless or whatever. that boy go NYOOM#changing the settings didnt help.#anyway. last week i finished the mercenaries and got leons rpd outfit. it was hell. it wasnt but i was in a rush so it was#i think after everything my favorite is still ada cause that grapple gun is everything. the hardest for me was krauser#krauser should have been the easiest cause you just knife everything but i kept slashing dynamite and had to redo the village like 10 times#it was absolute ass. he's the most broken character why would they do that to me#and then immediately after i started on my separate ways professional S+#its funny someone said the S+ was harder than base game. base game's pro S+ burnt me out so bad#i didnt touch the game for months afterward. separate ways S+ was a cake walk after. you dont even have to fight krauser ovo)b#the most difficult parts are probably the double garradors and the countdown to get to leon at the end#immediately after i got all my achievements I was plunged into a depression like no other. plus i had a discrete math midterm on friday#i am SO SAD. WHO WAS I BEFORE SEPARATE WAYS#i did the same silly thing i did when i drew Link. the shine in her hair says 'Ada' because i have to derive joy from somewhere

i just. hit s+ rank in splatoon and i never honestly thought this would happen?? am i cool now.. do i get to be a part of the s4? do i get to be watered down to my running joke all the time?
#the last part is a joke but i do not see a whole lot of recognition of the s4 being. the s4#like yeah they were cool formidable foes in the s1 era and skull even beat goggles despite his plot armor#but now theyre just#there??#dont get me wrong i love their existence but#it feels like theyve been watered down at least a bit#skull is always just getting lost and army is almost always either the manual guy or the curry guy#thats. thats it thats their bits#skull also has the sweets thing#rider is sometimes a considerable foe too but at the same time the s4 doesnt usually consist of him so im not sure how much to count him#that being said it is a kids manga so i dont really expect it to lean too far into the formidable foes thing#even the xblood werent that scary in the long run and ended up goofy despite being who they were#i also get it in terms of fandom#i understand the appeal of something like aloha being cutesy dumb pink guy (who maaaaaaybe commited some crimes and it shows)#i also definitely understand the appeal of army having a thing for curry as well as the manuals#the manuals can be an endearing thing to write about trust me#but i also wouldnt mind seeing more things that center around the likes of the s4 and the xblood and even the best8 being the absolute best#of the best during their prime#reminder that s+ was the highest rank around when the s4 were introduced. same with the xblood#they were the strongest players and id like to see things that center around that#id like to imagine that moving on to the square and splatsville that the s4 would have had a chance to move uo and get into xbattles#i think of all of them skull and army would have the highest chances of actually making it to xrank and being successful#but honestly if mask and aloha could probably make it pretty well too if they got off their asses#and i think rider would excel as well being rider#he has his own kind of near plot armour i think#so do most of the big teams in my opinion#theyre the sort of doomed by the plot that forces them to battle goggles at some point lmao#maybe i could use this in a fic or au one day#maybe someone already has...#(please send to me if you know of any creators who have played around with these vague ideas of strength i wanna see em)

the other beta version of mochi and limes post-timeskip reunion is that he actually does find her on his own. after years of taking witch-related missions, tracking down leads, investigating new developments and hints that came up, etc
where one day, wherever mochi is hiding at the time, pom becomes alert all of a sudden, and goes "...the m34th is here."

#(aka me when my acid burns randomly start throbbin’ when i bend over :( it’s very inconvenient)#in other news this week absolutely s u c k s can i trade it in for a better one—#first there was that acid spill. which. like. ouch???? but the mark is still there and is apparently very obvious. which sucks#then the day after the acid attack™️ meself and one other guy were called out under the assumption that we were doing unnecessary overtime#with the ‘unnecessary’ part running off the basis that there’s a low sample volume bc one single monday had fewer samples than usual#and we were singled out j u s t because our taxi claims for last month were through the roof due to the fact that we live across the country#like??? hellooo????? why are you treating it like it’s my fault that i have to pay upwards of $24 (at least) to get home???#and??? excuse????? why are you extrapolating the previous day’s sample volume to the previous month’s workload as a whole????#but. m a n. the way the mildly higher up lady abruptly shouted at me for asking a question just. pissed me off. for some reason.#she was talking in circles regarding the future of our taxi claims#so i asked if we (now) had to submit a second claims form for the transport company dudes to compensate us#and she yelled at me to stop talking before i could finish :( sadded and annoyed tbh#though i get the feeling that she hasn’t liked me ever since i left some results she asked for between her desk and some other guy’s desk#and someone else had placed their notebook or sth atop it so she couldn’t find it. and she blamed me for it. ha.#that was a few weeks ago though. so. hm. i wonder if she’s still mad about that…#either way. i applied for a couple of jobs that are closer to my place bc screw travelling across the country for an hour every day#s c r e w hour-long train rides i’d rather sleep#i prolly won’t even get the other jobs but. oh well. that’s life ig

I’m at that point where I’m obsessing over two separate fandoms at once (Star Wars and Hunger Games) and so my brain’s solution is to scour Ao3 for HG aus for the Star Wars fandom, but the problem here is those are two VERY depressing fandoms with very sad canon events and mashing them together makes it even sadder
#I read a great one just now where Anakin Obi-Wan and Ahsoka were all tributes and the arena was Mustafar#which was honestly THE coolest thing possible#and I’m reading another rn following the events of catching fire (including hijacking 😭) and it’s breaking me#I’m dying#actively#anyways now I am caught between wanting to rewatch Star Wars again and needing to see Songbirds and Snakes#(the other issue is I have to finish reading the peacekeeper part of BS&S and I do not want to#I read like the last 5 pages of the book that should be enough riiiiiight#star wars#hunger games

I vaguely mentioned in conversation the other day while making a sandwich how bread at the store has a bunch of gross shit in it and how fresh would be better whatever and I went to the kitchen and saw my dad made a loaf of sandwich bread today and it was on the counter…..made sure it was ready before I went down to make sandwiches for work………love is real.
#made me emotional actually lol#he’s not a super lovey huggy dad but he does really cute thoughtful stuff#was so pretty too I’m excited to go on break and eat#been a lot of stress and worries going on but been shown so much love lately#I’ve also had a lot of self reflection#like a lot of it#and I’ve been realizing things like actually letting them sink in#and making new private goals that for the first time in a while idk..#make me feel inspired to tap back into parts of myself I feel I’ve abandoned#back to old goals but also new ones#last year was really bad and put my life to a standstill in a way and I’m kinda over it and myself being the same#I feel like I’ve grown a lot more than I did in year(s) and changed#in some ways worse in ways I can’t control but also better#it’s been no easy feat but I’m stronger#it's probably time to use that growth and I deserve to have my wants and goals and dream life to come to fruition#this isn't the year to be stuck l've wasted a lot of time#idk this year feels like it's going to be important#the growing pains are real#so for now l'll continue to be scared but brave and sad but thankful and stressed but motivated#I’ve felt all the things at once lately#but no matter what my eyes are more open than they’ve been in a long time#and there’s people who want to be apart of my journey whether it’s happy and fun or sad and hard#and everything in between#the rest is confetti

5. do you listen to music while your write?
oh yes. usually it's either one of my character playlists or my all over Focus On Working Playlist which is just based on movie music which reminds me of twin peaks. i have like three playlists like that just. 'twin peaks vibes'. they get me through so much.
7. are you a morning, day, evening, or night writer?
morning all the way. which is also why i don't do as much writing as i did before uni started again. i miss the time when i'm at my best writing-wise for uni work and it makes me cranky.
16. do you first get in the “zone” when writing, or do you start writing and “enter” it that way?
i enter the zone by waking up in the morning with a fully developed brainrot but when i do try to get myself to write outside of the morning window it's really best for me to just. start writing. and not get too hung up on it not being good. sometimes there are specks of gold in anything, you know. and we are all here to have fun. if this reply of mine isn't all great, the next one might be. best move the story along and see where it goes, not to get too hung up.
