Hey people! So, this is gonna be a weird post, I realise. LOL

I’m doing a bunch of research for my Marketing Communications class in my final year at college, and it regards the age range of 18-24 year olds (Gen Z/young Millennials) and their sentiments regarding Indeed, the job-seeking platform.

Currently, we (the team of students, aka the class) are in the researching phase where we are trying to understand y’all’s sentiments better. It’s all about Indeed, really, and all results go into fuelling a professional-level ad campaign for the NSAC (national student advertising competition) in the Spring.

I told my friend that, as a city dweller, it’s sometimes hard for me to connect with the holiday spirit of Lughnasadh. The wheat harvest may have been an important occasion in ancient times, but now? I don’t grow my own crops. I buy my bread in a store.

I woke up pretty early in the morning to work on my portfolio in the PDF format, which wasn't that hard as I've already accumulated work from past and prior experience. I had forgotten that I needed someone (a profession) to look over and critique my portfolio, so I turned in the assignment a little bit late. It seems that after this and next week's assignment, there will only be two left for the semester, but yet again I feel this overwhelming loom over my shoulder that tells me if I do not keep up with everything, it will fall down essentially. I then took a nap after all that thought.

I woke back up around 3 and learned that I had gotten accepted to the NSAC course, which was the National Student Advertising Competition. I mainly wanted to join just to get more work samples for my portfolio, but yet again, my habit of overthinking things led me to stress out more than I should be. I asked my person afterwards to look over and give feedback to my portfolio to turn in, did some adjustments to my schedule for the upcoming semester, and carried along with my day. Some exercising is good to clear your mind, I'd highly recommend.
