More then 1 Inhumans book?
So while I hope after Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’s mini that Marvel will put out another Inhumans book shortly I do wonder could they handle more then one.  During the push, people were saying the Inhumans couldn’t handle more then one book but then this also had people mixing in their feelings of not liking them just because of what was happening to the X books.  At the same time we have people going on how there is only really like 4 Inhumans worth looking at (this usually changes based on the person’s thoughts), but could they hold more then one.  Give other Inhumans time to shine?  If you are a fan of the Inhumans I ask you to try to participate in planning around a character.   What you would need to do is pick 1 Inhuman and think what they would want to do with them. 4 points. You can include other Inhumans to interact with and play a big enough role for them, but only 1 staring Royal, and 1 staring Nuhuman (staring meaning they played a main role in an Inhumans book) can be added, with a max of 8 Inhumans/characters your chosen Inhuman being in the count. If you are doing this check reblogs as that will be way to share your idea.  When an Inhuman is used it means they are used in another book so can’t be used. My character/ example: Ahura Boltagon 1) Gives up trying to escape the Royal life, and decideds wants to improve it and Attilan culture for future Inhumans. 2) Forms a team to be more like the Merry Men from Robin Hood, as they act more anti-hero stealing and attacking known villain groups. The team has a balance of different Inhuman status Grid (staring Nuhuman), Haechi (Nuhuman), Alaris (Commoner), Kalikya(Commoner), Treste(Commoner/Royal?), and Ahura (staring Royal) 3) Ahura and Treste in a relationship, with so much time offscreen they can be far enough in it and possibly married. 4) His powers are revealed to be all forms of energy manipulation and transference, no emitting (save for what a body can) but has a sphere of influnce that covers the whole world.

This, is Gordon Nobili, better known as Lineage, and statistically, you probably have never heard of him
Tumblr media
Gordon was one of the many humans that found themselves inside cocoon's after Black Bolt detonated a terrigen bomb, releasing a cloud of terrigen that travelled across the planet.
Lineage is legitimately one of the coolest concepts in the Marvel universe, and I never see anyone bring him up, not surprising as he's another victim of Marvel refusing to see the potential of all characters they created during the inhuman push of the 2010s.
Tumblr media
Lineage has the power of summoning on his body the souls of dead members of his, well, lineage, using them to talk to and seek advice from, a power that he takes advantage of on top of his knowledge as a former mob boss to manipulate other nuhumans to do his bidding.
Tumblr media
Anything a soul he summons knows, he knows, a man with generations upon generations of knowledge across the entire length of human history, Lineage should be feared, by inhuman and human alike, because wisdom and knowledge when used for evil, are the most dangerous tools there are.

First of all, Lady Justice in Attilan is represented as a nude woman holding two smaller people on each hand. I would love to learn the symbolism here, if there’s any. The fact that she is holding two people make ms wonder if this has anything to do with pairing two people to marry.
Then Gorgon explains the “need” for the Genetic Council, and it makes me think of Utolan, the inhuman city in Mozambique.
Utolan seemed to not control rigidly the marriages and procreation like Attilan does. That, along with the fact that it had a much smaller population, resulted in many people dying in terrigenesis for genetic reasons.
So, it is real the risk that unregulated procreation in Attilan could result in many inhumans who could die in terrigenesis. At first, it seems that they are justified in their ways.
But why does terrigenesis have to be universal? What is so bad about not having a gift? Besides, Attilan doesn’t breed for “survive terrigenesis”, it breeds the “best and brightest”.
They want to develop scientifically, maybe militarily, they want people with unique gifts to do difficult jobs. Someone without gifts would be useless, just like someone with “useless” gifts
Eugenics seem like the answer to try and secure people with the best gifts. And it’s as fucked up as it would be irl.
It’s unclear how much the genetic council can know of one’s powers from their genes, but I believe they should study it. People should know what powers they could get, if there are risks of them dying in terrigenesis. They should know as much as it’s possible and then they should have the right to choose whether to go through terrigenesis or not. Not their parents, nor the Council, but them themself.
And society should provide for all of them, regardless of choice, regardless of gift.
(This is actually my hc for New Attilan. I think the nuhumans would push for voluntary terrigenesis since they didn’t have a choice, and would gladly accept any information they could give to someone about to go through terrigenesis about their transformation. The people from Old Attilan would maybe be against the change, because that’s how things have always been done.)

MUTANTS DECIMATED: POPULATION IN PERIL
Evolution is a never ending climb, so it seems. The world we live in now is not like the one that we once knew. Gods, aliens and women with glowing fists descended upon our planet as external forces that either wished to act as savior or ruination. The danger extends far past the supernatural or galactic though. The last six years have made the presence of the alien created subset species inhomo superior, or, the Inhumans very known. Well the Inhumans are not of Earth, the release of their Terrigen Mists across the Earth’s surface created a new species known as the Nuhuman’s. The Nuhuman’s are, by all accounts, innocent people transformed involuntarily to creatures of power and destruction. But aliens aren’t always to blame for the chaos of the world we live in. In some instances, the problem is far closer to home. It’s our bodies.
They’re called homo superior, a pretentious name that has often been pushed to the side in favor of the shorter and more on the nose name: mutants. What a mutant is boils down to a genetic level. They are created by the occurrence of the X-Gene in ones body. The activation of the gene creates a type of exotic protein that then produces chemical signals which induce mutations on other genes. The result? Mutated organisms that are variously empowered. These mutations are activated at some point in a mutants life, usually during puberty or times of great stress, and they are able to manifest abilities that range in power and strength. Some sources say that mutants have always been around us and living among us, but they did not rise in public knowledge until a man named Charles Xavier made himself known.
A student of Oxford with PhD’s in genetics, biophysics and psychology, Xavier selected five mutant children - for they were children - and began training them to use their powers as weapons. These young mutants become known as the X-Men and operated internationally for some time even after the death of Xavier. Robert Kelly, most known for being a Senator whose supposed hate campaign won him in the presidency when President Matthew Ellis was a victim of the Cleanse, has always been the most vocal and aggressive of the anti-mutant campaign. Even when the X-Men were laying low following terrorist attacks like the 7/15 Incident, other groups were rising up to cause damage and endanger lives.
But why is this relevant? Why now of all times, when mutants have been around for longer than we care to admit? The answer is Thanos. The Mad Titan changed many things when he snapped his fingers. Some even claim that holes were torn in the very fabric of our dimension, allowing for others from the ‘multiverse’ to enter ours. But that’s a story for another time. What is relevant, however, is that Thanos’ snap had an adverse effect on mutants. Studies show that no mutant has been born since Thanos snapped his fingers. A select few were rumored to have manifested, but mutant populations have now dropped drastically. Why is that? Researchers are unsure, but there have been rising tensions with the mutant population ever since the Cleanse was reversed.
Case and point: at the reception following the wake of Natasha Romanoff and Tony Stark, a young mutant by the name of Jean Grey caused a scene and incited other mutants such as the destructive Scott Summers to nearly injure civilians all the while ending the beautiful event. Whether the acts of Grey and Summers are in retaliation for a perceived injustice committed by Thanos, it was just one more example of how dangerous mutants can be. They walk among us as friends, neighbors and enemies. Holed up in the Jean Grey School for Gifted Youngsters, their presence in our world is not to be taken lightly. Perhaps it’s for the better that mutant populations are dwindling. Perhaps it makes the world safer for us all.

IT’S A NEW ERA FOR THE AVENGERS
Despite the loss of three of their own and the destruction of their Facilities, the Avengers can’t be held down. As previously announced, their home base has been rebuilt into the all new Avengers Compound, details of which have been kept tightly under wraps. Also under wraps is their new roster, but inside sources seem to have some idea of who we can expect to save the world from cosmic level threats.
Former war criminal and fugitive Sam Wilson, previously known as the Falcon, has officially taken over the Captain America mantle from the inactive Steve Rogers. Joining him are Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), Spider-Man (Unknown),  the Scarlet Witch(Wanda Maximoff), Ant-Man (Scott Lang), and Wasp (Hope Van Dyne) but others are rumored to be associated as well, such as Bruce Banner (the Hulk), Stephen Strange(Doctor Strange), King T’Challa of Wakanda (Black Panther) and Bruce Banner (the Hulk). Former original team member Clint Barton has not said if he will be joining or remaining in retirement.
This news comes after the announcement that the U.N. will be pardoning the superhero war criminals who stood in opposition to the Sokovia Accords in recognition of their efforts to defeat Thanos. This clears the names of the aforementioned Sam Wilson, Steve Rogers, Wanda Maximoff, Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, Dr. Henry Pym, James Buchanan Barnes and Clint Barton. Public reactions have varied from being glad that the Avengers are able to legally operate again and enraged that those who were being punished for endangering and killing civilians will not reach the end of their sentence. Regardless of which stance you take, I for one am glad to know the Avengers are back even if they look a little different than we’ve been accustomed to.

IN OTHER NEWS:
What are all the cool kids saying these days? If you want to refer to that bad event where Thanos killed half the population, you’re probably going to say the Cleanse. Want to talk about someone who disappeared? They were snapped or snapped out. Now you know!
The Stark Internship has welcomed two new members! It was announced Tuesday that Michelle Jones and Riri Williams would be welcomed into the program in journalism and engineering respectively. They join current intern Peter Parker as youth representatives for Stark Industries internationally, currently being run by Pepper Potts, CEO.
Those who snapped out during the Cleanse are required to report to their local DMV or consulate to receive new licenses, passports and identification cards that accurately reflect their current age and status. Those who are displaced are encouraged to reach out to local shelters and charities that have been created specifically to aid those who need help.
Word has come from New Attilan that the Inhuman regime will remain under the control of Queen Regent Crystalia Amaquelin until the Crown Prince Ahura Boltagon comes of age. This comes in lieu of former Queen Medusalith Amaquelin releasing a statement that she would not be returning to the throne as it stands at that her husband, King Blackbolt would be taking a leave for personal reasons.
The Inhumans aren’t the only group playing musical chairs with their throne. It was released via a New Asgardian representative that Thor Odinson, our favorite thundering Avenger, would be taking a leave of absence from the throne. Ruling in his place is the new King, the Valkyrie, who has made it clear she will not be referred to as Queen. It sounds like our new King is looking for a Queen though, because rumor has it one Captain Marvel has been seen visiting New Asgardian in trips that weren’t just for business. Neither party has released an official statement at this time but we’re keeping our eyes on New Asgard!

Friday Five: I wish…
Since this is the last weekend of Women's History Month, I thought I’d return to a female character themed Friday Five. This time around, I’m giving you five female comic book characters I wish Agents of SHIELD would bring to the screen. The show has utilized an amazingly large number of comic book characters considering it was built around a group of people not in the comics. Some of these are my favorites. Some of these are just characters I think would have been a good fit for a lengthy arc.
Five: Ms. Marvel
Every young person reading comics wants Ms. Marvel to get her own onscreen property. There was a lot of speculation that she would be part of one of the shows in development at Freeform since the network is aimed at “emerging adults” or whatever their tag is now. That doesn’t appear to be the case, and quite frankly, I think it’s unlikely to see her get a TV project unless its on a cable network that has the budget for the VFX her shapeshifting ability would require.
That being said, I would have loved to see Agents of SHIELD introduce her for a one off episode. The SHIELD comics (which, really, were hit or miss and I only recommend them if you are genuinely interested in how different writers work with the characters) featured her for a single issue in which Jemma Simmons went undercover as a high school teacher. She and Kamala ended up teaming up to take on a bad guy, and it was such a fun issue that I’ve wanted to see a version of that on the show ever since.
Four: Iso
This one is a bit of a cheat. Why? Because NuHuman Xiaoyi Chen actually reminds me a lot of Skye before she fully embraced Daisy Johnson. Iso is the Inhuman name the character takes on, but when she’s introduced, there are different people hunting her because of her abilities, and Reader (who is basically the comic book basis for Gordon on the show) is the one who finds her. Iso’s abilities include manipulating pressure, very similar to Daisy’s “pushing” of vibrating molecules together. I feel like introducing someone like Iso would allow Daisy the chance to give someone the benefit of her own experiences though, which is one of the reasons I love the similarities between them.
Iso was “given” to Ennilux, an old Inhuman organization that placed Inhumans into business opportunities, sold people into slavery, and operated kind of like the Inhuman version of organized crime. It’s a comic book piece she could have brought with her to the show which could have been fascinating.
Three: Miss America
I almost didn’t put America Chavez on this list because I feel like it’s inevitable that she (and Kate Bishop) will eventually join the MCU. The characters are too popular and fans are too vocal for producers to ignore them forever. That being said, she’s a character who can literally kick holes in the doors between universes. Given that Agents of SHIELD has already played with the comic book What If scenario in the Framework, went to space and time travelled in season five, and they’ve introduced Ghost Rider who can also open doors between dimensions, America would be a fun addition, even for a short arc.
America is also an out lesbian in the comics, and for all the great representation that exists for SHIELD in ages and ethnicities, different sexualities are not represented well. The writers have a habit of getting rid of characters n same sex relationships. Admittedly, this has largely been because the actors aren’t available, but the show’s writers should at least try to rectify that and America is such a fun character, so it would be a win-win.
Two: Victoria Hand
What’s that you say? Victoria Hand was already on the show? I can’t hear you over the sound of that fridge door closing on her. Killing off Victoria Hand so quickly is one of the things I hate about the series, even though it provided such a great moment with the reveal that Ward was Hydra. Victoria Hand is one of the highest ranking SHIELD agents the show has ever had involved, even in just a few short appearances, and I would have really enjoyed seeing what the show did with her. In the comics, she’s a real badass, and the show didn’t get to explore that very much.
I also really love Saffron Burrows and hate that she’s not in more stuff I actually watch, so... I’d like her back, please.
One: Shadowcat
Considering Kitty Pryde is one of my favorite Marvel comic book characters of all time, there was no way she wasn’t making this list. She’s also the one person on this list who, realistically, will never be in the MCU unless Disney decides to make the FOX buyout official. Because Kitty’s comic book history is rooted in the X-Men, her screen rights belong to FOX. Three different actresses have already played her on the screen, including the lovely Ellen Page, but the character hasn’t really been on par with who she is in the comics.
She grew from a bubbly teenager who loved dance classes into a young adult with a fondness for guys named Peter and an eventual leader of the X-Men. She has been through nearly as much crap as the big names (like Jean Grey and Wolverine), and she’s been a SHIELD agent in a couple of story arcs. It’s a shame the show couldn’t use her and her ability to walk through walls. I guess I can’t be too angry since there is a movie in development over at FOX surrounding her character.
Honorable mentions go to Kate Bishop (of course! Because the female Hawkeye is kind of a mess, but we love her anyway), Dazzler (because her character was so ridiculous in the 80s and I’d love to see SHIELD deal with someone whose famous having special powers they kept hidden), and Black Widow (for the obvious reason that she was SHIELD and Coulson was her team leader, but with a certain actress in the role, that’s a very unlikely option).

so besides inhumans prime (was there more than just a passing reference to their slavery?) they basically haven't really dealt with it in their regular books since 2009. So I think it's inaccurate to argue that the Inhumans are better than the x-men because they deal with social inequality and privilege, when that hasn't been a big theme for them in a long time. "standing up to their own oppression" has been a bigger theme for the inhumans ever since the nuhumans started popping up.
I never meant to insinuate one was better than the other… just different.
The whole deal with the Terrigen Cloud and the fact that it created Inhumans all over the globe was Black Bolt indictment of Attilan’s adherence to eugenics… proving that crafting bloodlines was unnecessary and ineffective and that greater diversification actually produced a more capable generation of Inhumans.  The concept of eugenics does play a role in The Inhumans stories, but never, ever cast in a positive light.
I agree with you that it was a huge mistake for Marvel to sweep under the rug the more problematic aspects of the Inhumans during the initiative to make The Inhumans more pivotal to the grandeur Marvel Universe.  And now that that push as abated, we’re seeing stories where those problematics are once more focused upon.
As for the X-Men…  I love the X-Men and always will, but am also mindful of the issue of misappropriation that pervades through the stories.  It’s cool that the Mutant act as this allegory for oppression, that Mutants are a metaphorical stand-in for people of color, the LBGT+ community, and other oppressed peoples… but it’s also kind of tasteless that the main characters are almost exclusively really attractive, heterosexual white folks.
From what I can tell, the X-Men TV show, ‘Gifted’ is essentially going to be a modernized retelling of the Underground Railroad… the fact that Singer and company have chosen to make the protagonists of this tale a couple of blond white kids (based off the Fenris Twins from the comics) makes me want to cough up bile.  It’s as tone deaf as one of those Jenner kids putting up her hair in dreadlocks.

9 MARVEL CHARACTERS I WANT TO SEE IN THE CINEMATIC UNIVERSE
Just spitballing for fun here!
To celebrate September 9th, here are 9 Marvel Heroes I would like to see making their debut in the next phase of Marvel Cinematic Universe. By MCU, that means for the movies... NOT for TV. I'm not saying because the TV side is... bad (even if I do lean towards that conclusion, it would be a subjective opinion), but I just don't think TV would be able to do justice with these characters due to various constraints (budget, VFX quality, etc).
It's already widely reported that the 2019 "UNTITLED Avengers" will serve as the culmination of MCU since 2008. That means, the door to welcome new characters and IPs would be wide open. So these are the names I would like to see getting the spotlight, and perhaps, assemble into a new set of Avengers. One might easily notice that the names I'm including here are characters from the animated "Avengers Assemble" series. That's actually... INTENTIONAL. One, because that means Marvel Studios obviously has the rights to use them (or at least partially, like the Spider-Man characters). And two, because I want this post to have a similar look and feel. But I'm NOT leaving behind other characters who have yet to show up in that series. That's why there's a special 'Bonus' section afterwards... (^^)v
Now that the explanation is out of the way, let's start right away! Here they are, in alphabetical order:
Agent Venom
Coincidentally, the first one is already a tricky situation. Eugene "Flash" Thompson is a Spider-Man character, so the rights to him is owned by SONY. That company is already working on a "Venom" movie that might not (or might?) be part of the MCU, with Tom Hardy as the lead. On the other hand, a modern-bully version of Flash has already debuted in the MCU via this year's "Spider-Man: Homecoming", as brought to life by Tony Revolori. Of course, the prospect of seeing a talented actor like Revolori becoming a headlining hero, is just too good to ignore. Mind you, it might take him a very long time (until after the high school characters graduate?) before arriving in a possible bittersweet situation (in the comics, Flash had to lose his legs first). But overall, Marvel Studios has already sown the seed for Agent Venom's debut. I can only hope this idea will be realized somewhere in the future...
Hercules
Odd choice, huh? But hear me out. We haven't had a great Hercules movie for a long time (my favorite was still Disney's animated-musical version, and it differed massively from the mythology). So why not leave it to Marvel Studios to do justice for the figure, and make a HUGE name out of him? The comic version of Hercules Panhellenios is a struggling, washed-out, unemployed hero, who spends his time slacking around and being a disappointment to others. True to his metaphorical title as a fierce male lion, huh? This situation and condition would carry massive potentials to explore in the movies. He can also take over Thor Odinson's position to expand the MCU towards more Greek-based mythological stories. Would you like to see Herc fighting Cerberus or Hydra (the monster, not the NAZI organization) in live action? I sure do. Good ol' Herc has seen a return to spotlight recently, with his own solo comic series. So what an excellent time to promote him for his own movie too! Since Chris Hemsworth and Pratt are already in the MCU (IMO, both are giving off a strong Hercules vibe!), perhaps Marvel Studios can hire... I don't know, Joe Manganiello as the lead actor?
Hyperion
Another mythological-esque hero! Unlike Hercules though, Marcus Milton has a completely different origin, being descendant of... the Eternals. Yes, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie series have already introduced this powerful race, which means, the route to Hyperion's debut is more or less smooth sailing. Interestingly, Hyperion is well known as part of the superhero team "Squadron Supreme". That means, if ever Marvel Studios needs a 'replacement' for the Avengers, this group is a good candidate. Just like Herc, Hyperion has returned to the limelight with a new comic series lately, eventhough it was cancelled after a few volumes. I admit, being a copy/parody of a certain DC hero, the character doesn't really have deep potentials. But that's why I trust Marvel Studios to give him the push he needed! As for the actor, for some reason, I would love to see John Krasinski in the role. Dude was considered to be Captain America before, right? And he's not another Chris. LOL.
Inferno
We're back to another tricky business. Dante Pertuz is a relatively new character, a modern version of Human Torch that FOX doesn't own. LOL. He's introduced in the recent years with the NuHumans storyline, which exactly leads to THE tricky situation. Yes, he's an Inhuman, and his origin story is deeply connected to the Inhumans Royal Family (specifically Gorgon). We all know that Marvel TV had taken over the Inhumans IP and turn it into a TV series (complete with bad writing, bad design, bad reviews *smh*). I'm VERY concerned the division would also want to capitalize on Inferno to boost the show's appeal, and I personally don't think that's a wise decision. Visual-effect wise, Mark Kolpack has admitted that creating Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider's flaming head and chains for the 4th season of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was taxing and demanding. It's basically a movie-level VFX that required extra hours and patience, not something that can usually be rushed in a TV deadline. Now imagine doing that with Inferno, who emits flame from all over his body! But there's a bigger stake, here. You see, Dante's clearly a latino hero, and we haven't had one headlining an MCU movie until now. With his visual powers and relatable storyline (struggling with being Inhumans, a minority, rock star, and all), a movie would privilege Dante with the justice he deserve. I'm aware that highly likely Marvel Studios will be going with a cosmic Sam Alexander's Nova instead, and that's okay. But Inferno would be more current, if not more likeable choice.
Ka-Zar
Kevin Plunder came in to this list, with the same reason to Hercules. Because he's Marvel version of Tarzan! Hollywood has been trying to create a good Tarzan movie over and over again, and they're either an okay hit or a sad miss. As far as I know, none of them were ever able to please every audience, not even Disney's animated version. But Ka-Zar is different, because he carries more 'fantasy' than just trying to ape the King of the Jungle. The setting of his adventures, the "Savage Land" that's hidden deep in Antarctica, would be something magnificent to feature in the big screen. We've got Asgard, Kamar-Taj, Wakanda, why not add Savage Land too! Don't forget Zabu, his saber-toothed best friend, which would require massive CGI work. Suffice to say, the things I'm reading and hearing about Ka-Zar only leads to one conclusion: I want to see him in a live action movie! Now, who can portray him? Hmmm... a natural blond Brit like Charlie Hunnam, perhaps?
Ms. Marvel
All concerns I had for Dante, goes for Kamala Khan as well. Being a fellow Inhumans, there's been a rampant rumor recently that she'll be getting a TV series (supposedly the one John Ridley is working on). For me, that's a HUUUGE NOOOO. And due to THREE major reasons. ONE, similar to Inferno, TV budget won't be able to handle the VFX required to showcase her Inhuman ability with the right look and feel. Look no further than that underwhelming looking "Inhumans" series as example! Would you like to see an iconic figure like Kamala being reduced to a 'disaster' with the excuse of making her 'grounded'? You know, like what Marvel TV have already done to Medusa? I certainly DON'T. Kamala is basically the modern version of Mr. Fantastic, and we all know that even FOX have tried to do Reed Richards right in the movies several times, but still couldn't perfectly nail it. Downgrading this situation to a TV level would only make it worse. TWO, Kamala is a genuinely likeable and well-beloved character that easily captures the heart and attention of many readers throughout the world. If the 60s-90s had Peter Parker, Kamala's the youth representative for the modern world. Hip, cool, and current (being a social media freak and all), but also kind and caring... eventhough she's a triple-decker minority (Female, South Asian heritage, and Moslem) living in a racist country. Which leads me to the final reason. THREE, her story will have a MUCH BIGGER impact to the world as a movie. Releasing a Marvel Studios movie with her as the lead in an international market (including countries with Moslem as majority), would not only bank a great amount of money, but also sends the right messages: one, unlike its current government, Hollywood is NOT racist; two, that everyone can be a hero, regardless of their gender, race, and religion! Relegating a character this HUGE to a small-scoped TV series that not everyone can gain access to, would be a massive disservice. Kamala is the hero the world currently needs, so please don't undermine her into disappointments.
She-Hulk
Another tricky situation, though in this case, due to the confusing copyrights. Actor Mark Ruffalo has repeatedly said, that a Hulk solo movie won't be coming along the road because Universal has the distribution rights. What about his super-powered cousin, Jennifer Walters? It's unclear, but I can only assume that she has the same legal limitation. Thankfully, it also doesn't mean that she can't be used in a Marvel Studios movies. She just need to be included as part of an ensemble, that's all. The great thing about Jen, is that she's a lawyer and later a judge. Not only she's strong physically, but also academically. Won't that be a strong role model for young women and girls all around the world? We haven't really had a law angle in the superhero movies until now, with Daredevil occupying the Netflix universe. So bringing Jen into the light would be fresh and promising. As for who should play him, I don't have a particular choice, but someone with Award prestige like Emily Blunt, Charlize Theron, and/or Jennifer Lawrence would be a great get...
Songbird
Former villain turned Avengers? Yep, that premise alone would make a great story. Melissa Gold started off as a troubled woman, with broken family and harsh situation. Giving in to the world of crime (known as Screaming Mimi) was clearly her way to stay alive. Eventually she stumbled into the road of heroism with the Songbird moniker, and ended up becoming a full-time member of the Avengers. Just like the other characters I've included here, Melissa would be a great role model, especially for troubled teenagers. Her path of redemption proves that anyone, regardless of their past and issues, can be a hero too. An inspiring message that Marvel Studios need to share to the world. She doesn't sell enough as a solo movie? Well, then debuting her as part of the "Thunderbolts" would be equally okay for me. All the ingredients are already in the MCU anyway (Thunderbolt Ross, Helmut Zemo?). As for the actress, for some reason, I want to see Anna Kendrick in this role. Yeah, basically I just want to see her in a Marvel Studios movie, but I believe she would really bring justice to the gorgeous-designed Songbird.
White Tiger
We've already gotten an African "Black Panther", now it's time for a hispanic White Tiger! Her powers come from the mystical side, and since "Doctor Strange" has opened up the gateway to supernatural, we can have more heroes with this kind of origin story! I'm personally going with Ava Ayala, and not Angela del Toro, eventhough either of them would be wonderful. Why White Tiger? Same reason to Dante, and in a way, Kamala. Sure, the MCU have included numerous Latino actors who either got lost in the background (Jonathan Pangborn?), or turned out to be a scene stealer (looking at you Luis!!!), but we haven't really had a major hispanic hero in the MCU until now. More importantly, a female one! Debuting Ava in the MCU would also, once again, sends off a great message. The US government have been really discriminative about immigrants lately, including the hispanics. Putting Ava in the spotlight would remind everyone that South Americans CAN be heroes, and not criminals like what they're being wrongfully accused for. We truly need characters like this right away! As for who should play her, I'm currently setting my eyes on Gina Rodriquez of the hit series "Jane the Virgin".
Honorable Ment... SPECIAL ADDITIONS
The next characters are those who (as far as my memory serves) haven't made their debut in the "Avengers Assemble" series. So they sort of... didn't fulfill the basic requirement for my initial list. But it'd be unfair leaving them behind like that, right? That's why they are special 'Bonus' additions. Without further ado, in alphabetical order:
Brother Voodoo
For the record, I'm not being racist by sidelining the only black character to this section. The reason I put him here, is because his debut in the MCU movies is pretty much confirmed. Daniel Drumm, big brother to Jericho Drumm, has already made his appearance in "Doctor Strange" as the original protector of New York Sanctum Santorum. And director Scott Derrickson has already hinted that his death would lead to consequences, including the arrival of Jericho. Debuting Jericho as a sort of sidekick to Stephen Strange would be nice, but it would be much better if he gets his own movie too. Yes, there's an issue regarding his name, because using Voodoo might... well, attract criticsm. But titles can be tweaked, right? Considering Jericho ends up becoming a Sorcerer Supreme too, I believe he'll be perfect as the next black hero to headline his own movie.
Shang-Chi
I've already repeatedly mentioned that Marvel Studios NEED a major hero representing minorities, and this is another great candidate. Marvel Studios have brought several prominent Asian characters into the MCU, like Wong, Mantis (eventhough she's an alien), and Helen Cho. Yet they all share similar characteristic: they are all supporting cast. If Marvel Studios want to play it 'safe' and headline an East Asian lead character, then Shang-Chi is the go-to-guy. Nope, I'm not undermining him, but just pointing out how easy he would appeal to the audience. Shang-Chi is in a way, Marvel Comics' response to Bruce Lee. We all know that the world LOVES some Bruce Lee. And Shang is more than just a Bruce Lee copy, he's also a master of espionage who's determined to take down his own father's criminal empire. Pretty much a solid recipe for a James Bond-styled wuxia blockbuster hit, am I right! "Doctor Strange" has teased the use of martial arts to support magic, a hero like Shang would put it upfront as the star of the party. Marvel TV might have taken the stamp on Iron Fist (with mixed response), so Shang is the opportunity for Marvel Studios to do it RIGHT! Jon Woo, Ang Lee, or Jacky Chan can direct this, and as for the actor, Godfrey Gao is my top pick. But Ludi Lin, Philip Ng (star of the fictional Bruce Lee biopic "Birth of the Dragon"), or even Yoshi Sudarso (who is Chinese-Indonesian) would be fantastic nonetheless.
Spider-Woman
The last tricky affair of the day! Jessica Drew is called Spider-Woman, but she uses the 'Spider' moniker by name only, and unrelated to Spider-Man. That's why until now, it's currently unclear whether her movie rights is owned by SONY or not. She's actually one of the superheroine I've been itching to see in the MCU, but admittedly, these questions surrounding her place always put me on a weird crossroad. Drew is connected to Hydra, the High Evolutionary, and has always been a full-blown Avengers. And all of those screams MCU. She's also the best friend of Carol Danvers, so I honestly want to see her show up in "Captain Marvel". Her comic origin story sort of fits with "Captain Marvel" 90s setting too. Have Jessica encounter Carol when she was a child, then Jessica was put into stasis for years, only to wake up as a superpowered woman in the present day. And then she meets Carol again, and team up as the new Avengers. All's well ends well! I personally want to see Tatiana Maslany of the famous "Orphan Black" for this character, but Marvel Studios can always cast an Asian actress (like Constance Wu or Celina Jade) due to Drew's ambiguous background.
Young Avengers
This one initially started off with just William "Billy" Kaplan and partner Theodore "Teddy" Altman. A sweet pairing more famously known as Wiccan and Hulkling. My way of thinking was, it'd be rude and unfair to name just one of them, right? If Marvel Studios wants to go ahead and feature an LGBT representation, these guys are the one they should use. Is it possible? There's a hint that we'll be seeing Vision and Wanda Maximoff's relationship evolve in "Avengers: Infinity War". Perhaps somehow they end up bending reality, and Billy is magically conceived? Meanwhile, "Captain Marvel" confirmed that the alien race Skrull CAN be used in the MCU, so a half Kree-Skrull (his biological father is the original/male Captain Marvel) like Teddy is more than just possible. Basically, that movie is the only gateway needed for his debut in the MCU.
But then I began thinking. Why am I leaving behind Billy's twin brother Thomas "Tommy" Shepherd? Poor Pietro Maximoff was killed off in just one movie, why am I sidelining another Speed-ster? That's NOT right. Then the more I think of it, the bigger the scope gets. We have a Hawkeye and Ant-Man who are both fathers in the MCU. Why not include their protege/child? Katherine "Kate" Bishop might not be Clint Barton's daughter, but the two shared a special connection that would be great to depict on the big screen. And then there's Cassandra "Cassie" Lang who looks up to her father Scott, and aspires to be a size-shifting heroine of her own. Cassie has already debuted in the MCU as played by Abby Ryder Fortson, why not promote her into a hero too? And how could I miss out the lesbian latina America Chavez? Fitting in comfortably to all the diversity talk I've stated above, America is not only female, latina, she's also an LGBT representative. Another triple-decker like Kamala. JACKPOT!
So yeah, that's how I ended up with Young Avengers instead. If Marvel TV has "The Runaways", then Marvel Studios can have these equally (if not more prospective) young heroes! If we assume that we will no longer see the Avengers following the 2019 movie, then introducing the Young Avengers would be the most logical continuation. This movie doesn't even to take place in the present time, but a bit further in the future, or even in an alternate reality. That's the function of Reality Stone and Multi-verse, right? This team represents youth, fun, and diversity, sending all the right messages to the world. And at the same, enabling older actors like Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Benedict Cumberbatch and others to serve briefly as mentor figures. There's also one other reason why this special team ends up being the last entry on this post (which is unintentional, to be honest): because I REALLY want them to show up in the MCU! \(*v*)/
So there you have it, the 9 (plus 4+) Marvel Heroes I want to see coming to the big screen. In the end though, this is nothing more than a personal opinion. It's obviously a very subjective thinkpiece, so anyone else might not have the same idea (if you do have your take, then do post them, I'd gladly read it!). I do however, hope that someone, anyone from Marvel Studios would somehow stumble upon this, read it, and put these names into considerations. I sincerely feel they will bring something NEW to the MCU, while continue conveying message of hope, inspiration, kindness, and good. After all, that's what Marvel Studios movies are for, right? Thanks for reading... enjoy your September 9th! Even if it might be just a regular day for most of us... XD

AU: twins are Inhuman instead of mutants. Are they just Inhuman supremacist bad guys instead or do they take another road?
OhWOW so much would be different. Ok, to start, I’m assuming you meanthe NuHumans, who are humans that are manifesting a latent Inhumanheritage due to exposure to the Mists on Earth, not as in born andraised in Inhuman society (which would entail EVEN MORE DIFFERENCESdue to being raised in a totally different and very isolated culturewith values and mores very different from our own) So, that makes fora TON of differences in their background that very much affects whythey became the mutant villains they are.Age of onset: The Cortez twins were prepubscent children when their mutations appeared. This means they’ve been dealing with their powers for the majority of their lives, and that’s deeply impacted Anne Marie’s personality in particuliar. The world is going to be different when you’re a child can not only feel the emotions of everyone around you, but bend them to your whim, when no adult or authority can actually make you do anything but you can make them do anything, etc. As Inhumans though, since the Terrigen Mist clouds on Earth are a recent thing, Fabian and Anne Marie would just be getting their abilities now as adults. Having not had powers up until now means they would have had very different lives and ways of relating to the world (again, especially for Anne Marie) and also probably would never left home, as they did in 616 as mutants. Dealing with something new as an adult is going to be vastly different than having it since childhood, and that change alone will probably make for a lot of personality differences.Explanation: The twins knew they had powers as kids, but not that they were mutant, what a mutant was, or that there were other mutants. Mutants did not start becoming something the Marvel public was largely aware of (or opposed to) until the mid-1980s as far as I can figure from when those storylines started in the comics. That’d be when the twins were teens or young adults. So for years of children, they had to make sense of what they were on their own, using their own methods and ideas. In their case, they looked to religion, as that was the only explanation they had for things that seemed so impossible, which helped shape Anne Marie’s future as viewing Magneto’s cause as a religious extremist would. If they’re Inhumans, that wouldn’t happen, firstly because, again, they’d be adults when they got their powers, not kids, and also because people know what Inhumans are, it’s known what’s going on, what’s causing humans to become Inhumans, etc, so they wouldn’t need to look for any kind of other answer.
Peers: The reason that the twins originally left home wasn’t to become supervillains. It was just that, once they found out there were other mutants out there, they wanted to meet them. In the case of Inhumans, entire families are transformed, since the latent gene is, of course, carried through one parent or the other. So not only would they become Inhumans as adults, but their family would too, at the same time. So they might not feel the need to leave home in search of others of their kind, or, if they did, might do it as a family, etc.Persecution: The twins leaving home and meeting other mutants is how they discovered persecution that other mutants were suffering from humans. Nothing bad happened tothe twins themselves, but Anne Marie experienced their trauma secondhand as an empath, and that led to her desperate desire to do something to right it, to make it stop, make everything okforever and ever. And the timing just happened to be that’s when she heard Maggneto’s message, and latched on to it because of that need. As for Fabian, his healing powers saved lives ofmutants who needed it, and he started getting high off the praise and thepower he held over life and death, then slowly spiraled into narcissismand egomania to the exclusion of all else. That’s how they wound up being…them. So, is something similargoing on for current Inhumans that could push them in the same direction for the same reasons? Also, I’m assuming that they’d get the same abilities as Inhumans that they had as mutants. If they got different ones, that would change even more. TL;DR I can’t tell you if they would still become villains or not, but a whole lot would be different about them, even if they still took a villainous path (which they also very well might NOT)

Marvel is Killing Its Inhumans in Comics, Too
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A mysterious new comic has just been announced by Marvel bearing the title Death of the Inhumans – is the Royal Family done for? It’s not a stretch to say Marvel’s collaboration with IMAX and ABC to bring Inhumans to the big and small screen was a disaster. After a false start for a theatrical release, the new model seemed like an interesting one until the actual product was released. There’s been no official word on the show’s fate yet, but the higher ups at Marvel and ABC have made it clear Inhumans likely won’t get renewed. With the X-Men and Fantastic Four movie rights owned by Fox – at least for the time being – conspiracy theories have abounded that the characters have been sidelined in Marvel Comics. When it comes to the mutants, however, that’s patently untrue given how many books the characters populate and lead. Still, Marvel clearly hoped to see the Inhumans occupy the same cultural space as mutants and have been pushing the Royal Family and NuHumans for years now. But with the failure of the show, could that all be changing? Marvel has announced Death of the Inhumans, which appears to be a one-shot title that will arrive this July. Written by Donny Cates with art by Ariel Olivetti, no other information about the plot or scope of the project has been released. For now, however, Marvel has unveiled the cover from Kaare Andrews which teases the downfall of the Royal Family.
Tumblr media
Death of the Inhumans #1 - Cover The past few years have seen Marvel release a number of Death of… titles revolving around various mutants, most popularly Wolverine. But Wolverine is back and characters in the comics never truly die. Thus, it’s hard to imagine the Inhumans or even the Royal Family specifically will be gone for good if that is indeed what the new story is about. It could be that we’ll simply see the more high-profile characters fade away for a time while the new generation of Inhumans take center stage. Ms. Marvel, Inferno, Quake, and others have all been a big part of Marvel’s efforts in recent years. In fact, all three of those characters will be in Marvel: Rising: Secret Warriors, a new animated film and initiative from Marvel focused on the next generation of heroes in the Marvel Universe. Given their prominence, it seems clear that Marvel aren’t quite done with the Inhumans. We’ve also seen more comics pop up involving the characters recently. Lockjaw just got a new limited series and Black Bolt by Saladin Ahmed and Christian Ward has been racking up accolades for its story and art. In the end, Death of Inhumans could just be an eye-catching title, but with Marvel’s Fresh Start establishing yet another status quo for the comic book universe, who knows what the future will hold.   Source Read the full article

INTERVIEW: Ewing’s Royals Embark on an Inhuman, Intergalactic Quest
Marvel’s super-powered Inhumans were born on Earth, but the culture and means that created them were extraterrestrial in nature. So when things become untenable for them on Earth, it’s only natural they would seek answers off-planet; first at the fallen homeworld of the galactic empire that created them, the Kree, and then further out into this galaxy and adjacent ones.
RELATED: Ewing Readies the U.S.Avengers for Deployment in the Marvel Universe
That’s the basic set-up for writer Al Ewing and artist Jonboy Meyers April-launching “ResurrXion” title, “Royals,” which sends the Inhuman royal family out into the cosmos of the Marvel Universe on a mission of utmost importance. But just how far out into space will they have to go? Which non Inhuman former Avenger is accompanying them on their journey and why? What sort of vessel will ferry them out into space? And what initial antagonists will be waiting to oppose them? For the answers to these questions and more, we spoke with Ewing about “Royals.”
CBR: For the past few years, the Inhuman Royal family has been pursuing an Earth-based agenda to advance and protect their people, but in “Royals,” they head out into space. What can you tell us about their mission? How critical is it to the survival of their people?
“Royals” #1 cover art by Jonboy Meyers
Al Ewing: Well, there’s a limit to what I can tell you without spoiling the in-progress “IvX” books, so get ready for a lot of cryptic answers… but I will say that the mission is pretty critical. It’s a quest to find answers – some lost secrets vital to the Inhumans – and it’s going to take them out further than any Marvel space-farers have gone before, to my knowledge. Hala – the dead, ruined world that was once the centre of the Kree Empire – is the first stop, but it’s a long way from being the last.
At the forefront of the mission is former Inhuman king Black Bolt and current Inhuman queen Medusa, who have been working together in recent years, though they’ve been living separate lives. How will living and working together initially impact the formerly married couple’s dynamic? What does it mean for the rest of the cast to have Medusa and Black Bolt on this mission together?
Black Bolt and Medusa are closer than they were in some ways, but there are still things driving them apart. There’s a secret between them – as hinted in “Inhumans: Prime,” which I think is out the month before – that might end up putting more distance than ever between the two of them. Can the relationship be saved at this point? Should it be? Are Black Bolt and Medusa too far apart from each other now to reconcile? We’ll have to see, but I can tell you that when the truth comes out, the rest of the cast will definitely get involved.
Your other two cast members of the Inhuman Royal family are Crystal and Gorgon. What’s your sense of these characters?
Crystal is there as one of the key Royals, and she’s proven her credentials over the past couple of years as a leader. There’s an interesting dynamic somewhere in there, with her sister Medusa as the regal, mythical Queen figure, and Crystal as a more down-to-earth leader-type who gets her hands dirty with the day-to-day. And we’re going to be getting some romantic drama from her as well, as her great lost love, Ronan the Accuser, is out in space and very much in the Royals’ way.
Gorgon was recently healed from a spinal injury by the Inhuman healer Panacea, so he can walk again – but it wasn’t a magical reset button by any means. He has bad days and some serious pain issues. But the Inhumans need him, and Medusa needs him, and he’s not going to hesitate for a second before throwing himself back into the fight.
The two Nuhumans in “Royals,” Flint and Swain, had a pretty tumultuous journey with Crystal and Gorgon over in “All-New Inhumans.” Which of these characters’ traits do you find especially interesting? What kinds of roles will they play in the book?
“Royals” #2 cover art by Jonboy Meyers
Flint’s going out there because he owes the Royals and because he needs to prove something to himself, and he’s still working out what – sometimes people do things and work out the “why” of it later, and we’re not going to get into it for an issue or two. His foster family dying of Terrigen is an element of it, and what he feels he owes the Royals is part of it. I feel like there’s a lot of complexity in him that I’d like to explore, and it just made sense that out of all the best-known NuHumans, he’d be the one to feel the tug of the quest. He’s searching for something, and out there might be where he finds it.
Swain is more driven by duty. She’s the Captain – you can’t have a starship without a captain – and she’s got a responsibility to Crystal and the other Royals that she won’t abandon. And she’s fun, which I hope I can capture in all this space questing. There’s the tug of space there, but the tug of change, as well, the need to shake things up, for her and Flint both. I’m a big fan of the “call of the stars” idea, and there’s a little bit of that at work.
Rounding out the cast is your non Inhuman character, the extradimensional Kree and former Young Avenger known as Marvel Boy. What made you want to bring him into the book? What does he add to the overall dynamic?
We were interested in having a “non-Inhuman” on the crew, and when Wil Moss suggested Marvel Boy as a possibility, I was right on board. He’s got that connection to the Kree – the ruined world of Hala is one of the first places we’ll be going – but with his other-dimensional origins, he’s also got a different viewpoint to most characters in the Marvel Universe, which puts him in a prime spot to see things other people miss. The Kree on his world had knowledge the Kree on ours didn’t – is that just from standard deviation between universes, or has a great secret been buried… maybe literally?
I realize that’s about the third or fourth “secret” in this interview so far – all of which is in aid of keeping my secrets from the readers more than anything. Not to mention the secrets of “IvX,” still ongoing. I did say I was going to be cryptic…
[Laughs] Fair enough! What can you tell us about the vessel the cast of “Royals” will be traveling on? Will it have a support staff of reoccurring characters, “Star Trek”-style?
It’s called the Astarion – named for a hero of Inhuman legend who may or may not have been a distant ancestor of Gorgon, and the inspiration for the Minotaur. That story’s one for, “if we have time.” It’s probably closer to the Millennium Falcon – it’s big, big as a building, big enough to comfortably house seven, but it’s not the Enterprise. There’s most of everything you might need – a medbay, weapons systems, what-have-you – and there’s a bridge that we’ll probably end up spending some time on, but there isn’t a support staff. I felt the mythical nature of the journey was best served by having everyone on the ship be a central part of the cast.
In the aftermath of recent events like the “Black Vortex,” and with the Guardians of the Galaxy currently stranded on Earth, the cosmic corner of the Marvel Universe is a pretty crazy, wide-open place. What threats will your cast will run afoul of?
Series artist Jonboy Meyers’ Inhumans redesigns for “Royals”
First stop is the dead world of Hala, once the homeworld of the Kree -heading there, and finding the secret buried within it, is what takes us through the first arc. On the way, they’ll encounter a couple of other enemies, some new-ish – like the rampaging Chitauri horde – some considerably older and more personal. Funny you should mention the “Black Vortex” – we haven’t seen much of Crystal’s ex-husband Ronan The Accuser since that story, or how his cosmic powers have developed.
From there, we’re heading out – to the edges of the Marvel Universe, and into uncharted territory. We’ve only seen a small part of the myriad galaxies in Marvel Space, and one thing I’m planning to do with this series – something I try to do with every book I’m given – is push the boundaries out a little further, both in terms of space–and time.
Oh, one more thing – remember the Universal Inhumans [from Jonathan Hickman’s “Fantastic Four” run]? I do.
Jonboy Meyers, who’s recently worked on a number of DC books is your collaborator on “Royals.” I’m not super familiar with his work, but it looks like it has a fun almost animated quality to it. What do you enjoy most about his work?
“Animated” is a good word! It’s wild, energized stuff, leaping off the page. He’s good when it comes to the design element, too – his ideas for the ship, and for the Royals’ “space” outfits and variations on them for different planets and environments, have been fascinating, and they’ve given me a bunch of ideas. Seeing what he’s doing with some of the bigger, weirder ideas I’m throwing at him, I’m interested to see more in the line – I think it’ll have a lot of visual punch.
Finally, going back to what you said earlier, it sounds like “Royals” will allow you to play with a number of Marvel’s established intergalactic characters and concepts as well as create a number of new ones. Can you talk anymore about some of the new things you’ll be introducing?
If my plans come together, this is going to add one absolutely huge new thing to the Marvel Universe that at least has the potential to change the entire scope and history of the whole shebang. Fans of Marvel Space, as well as Inhumans fans, would be wise to give this a look. We’re going all the way out to the far side of everything, and we’re coming back with cosmic secrets that’ll hopefully blow everything wide open.
I’ll conclude with a “thank you” to everyone following my work, and everyone who’s asking their local comic shop to put a copy of “Royals,” and a copy of the big “state of the Inhumans” one-off “Inhumans: Prime,” aside when they come out. That helps retailers gauge demand. Aside from that – stay safe, be kind to each other, and good luck in everything you do.

The United Nations held a summit to go over global affairs and development on 1 January 2020. Another council was held on 6 January 2020 in Geneva, Switzerland for mutants, humans, gods, aliens and all others to attend. All invited parties have been called to the summit that had a strong emphasis on peace and promoting future prosperity, but attitudes soon proved that not all is forgiven towards the mutants and their crimes.
THIS IS THE OFFICIAL COMPLETE CHAT LOG COVERAGE OF THE IC
CAROL: Another day, another conference. Attending these had felt honorary in the past, as if she were setting the world up for bigger things. Now, they were starting to feel more necessary and imminent, as if they couldn’t escape them. The threats were coming bigger and worse than the ones before, but that wasn’t what this Summit was addressing. They had an influx of mutants post the war when the Phoenix threatened the planet, and they had a mutant nation that was entirely their own. To say she felt uneasy was putting it lightly, but Carol saw the promise in Krakoa. But she also could see the downfall. Still, she spoke over the crowd of people, humans, mutants, extraterrestrials, anyone that represented the cause they were pushing towards. Even if Carol felt an awful foreboding, she didn’t let that creep into her voice. There was an introduction, an icebreaker, and then Carol got into the meat of it. “We live in a world post Thanos. Post Phoenix. We have seen death, destruction, and mayhem at every corner of our lives. We may continue to seek the other’s demise based on power or differences, or we may push for a future that ignores that. I might seem optimistic or naive, but I’m convinced that we can avoid another war if we focus on promoting peace and prosperity amongst each other. It will take leaders from every faction, communities coming together—” she could hear it in her voice, her own doubt, but a part of her wanted to believe it too. “We’re gathered here today to discuss the future of our planet, distant planets, and especially Krakoa.”
SHAW: Sebastian sat with leaning onto the table heavily, head lips chin pressed into his interlaced fingers with his cane resting to the side of him. He was following every word that the woman had been saying closely. For the financial success of Krakoa the utmost attention needed to be paid. He gave a momentary glance to his Black Bishop, his son Shinobi, sitting to his right as their eyes met they nodded and looked forward. Their relationship was tense at best but they had a common goal at the very least and knew what needed to get done. Sebastian most certainly didn’t have faith in the optimistic gobbledygook she was spewing but he didn’t need to mention that. “What a capital introduction, Captain Danvers. We appreciate the chance to have all of our voices heard tonight.” Sebastian replied smoothly with a soft smile. He was feeling confident knowing that half of the conference were representatives of Krakoa. While this made him feel secure it also made him feel as if it was over kill. It made them seem like they needed all of this support to stand on their own. That they needed all of this support, that the leaders weren’t adequate to conducting politics. He was also concerned that the other factions may see this as an attempt to display power and feel threatened in the process.
JEAN: It felt good to be doing something. Some hated the public nature of summits and conferences, but Jean had always liked being in a forum and fighting for a cause she was passionate about. “Captain Danvers is right.” A red head tipped in acknowledgment. “The rise of our nation had some unfortunate timing considering everything that happened, but we hope that you don’t count us out as a sovereign nation. Charles Xavier once said that while humans slept the world changed, and it has.” The room was filled with her family and familiar faces but it didn’t eliminate the tension. It just lingered in the background. “There is no you and I. There’s only an us. We are together or we are nothing, and that’s what we hope the world can see. One of the best ways we can show good will is through the Flowers of Krakoa, which the lovely Emma Frost can speak about seeing as she currently helps run the Hellfire Trading Company.”
EMMA: Odds were that Emma had tried - not very long ago - to kill most of the people in the room. With the Phoenix exorcised her mind was clear and the thoughts of others floated by in a quiet rush of consciousness. Gone was the psychopath tripping on power. Not a blonde hair was out of place, nor did a wrinkle crease her white suit. From her seat between Shaw and Kate, the White Queen sipped her wine while Jean spoke. As the other telepath finished she daintily dabbed at her lipstick with the napkin before a smile ticked up the corners of her mouth. “Thank you, darling. There’s precisely three drugs in this world that are produced on Krakoa and Krakoa alone. Drugs L, I and M are capable of extending human life by five years, acting as a universal antibiotic and curing diseases of the mind respectively. We would give you these drugs for free, but after past experiences we have no choice but to offer them at a cost. Life does not come cheap, does it?”
CHARLES: Charles stood up immediately after Emma’s pointed quip. His helmet was resting atop the table beside him as there was no legitimate reason to wear it at this time. He had nothing to hide. And he wanted his fellow telepaths to be acutely aware of that fact. The idea of a face to face chat also seemed to be a bit more effective in connecting with those present as he spoke. “Unfortunately, not everyone seems too keen on this idea. Fourteen nations refuse to trade with Krakoa. Among them are Latveria, due to certain political issues, and the nation of Wakanda, who simply have no need for the drugs we offer to trade with them,” Charles paused for a moment, folding his arms over his chest as he slowly paced across the front of the room, “—normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but a lack of trade partners puts Krakoa at risk of economic and eventually total failure. And we owe it to our residents to fix this issue.”
ERIK: “My fellow mutants are all making points of their own, but I feel that they are not telling the whole truth of the matter.” Erik took over once Charles was finished. “It is true that in the past, I have tried to show you time and time again how strong I am. But methods change, and that it was what we all are going to do– myself included. There will be no war.” Briefly, he paused to focus on his food. It was a casual moment– him sitting there dressed in his new white suit without his helmet, lifting his fork to his mouth to eat before continuing. “You have all shown us the way you influence wars– silently and financially. You make people pay to be healthy. To be educated. To have a home. That way you control them. We have seen it– and do you know what we will do? We will do it better.” Another pause to eat, his tone light like the conversation was easy for everyone listening just as it was for him. “Our drugs enhance and elongate life, and people will pay for it. Then we will buy your banks, schools, media– politicians. And once we control all that, we control you. And we will have every means to stifle out the wrong sort of people. They will have no space or power to peddle their dangerous, outdated ideas. Yes– people will still hate and fear us. But you know what will be different?” Erik looked up from his plate, glancing around the room for the first time. “They won’t be able to do a single thing about it. No war, just like I said.” And with that, Erik took another bite and smiled.
AHURA: Ahura listened intently hardly touching his food except for a few dainty and precise cuts and bites. “Interesting point, Magneto.” Ahura replied returning his smile. It was purely for pleasantries sake. While he was sociable on this occasion he still sounded as much a fanatic as always. With a gentle pat of his napkin to his lips he went on. “Now this is all interesting news and news it is. I applaud you all for being able to use your resources with medicine you claim to be so… Divine.” He sad glancing over to Charles and then resting his eye upon Emma. “As you know I run the largest Inhuman business in the world and a fortune 100 company that trades world wide, but before we even consider becoming a business partner we’re going to need to get a few details taken care of. While I would love to simply take you at your word I will need to see some physical evidence of your drug’s curative properties. Furthermore, this is an issue we can discuss at length outside of this meeting, I need to understand your medicine’s effects on Inhumans and Nuhumans before I can even consider the potential of becoming a potential buyer.”
CRYSTALIA: While everyone else ate, her plate remained untouched. Crystalia had little appetite as of late, her mind now solely focused on the throne she had recently gotten back from her cousin. Even though Dante was seated next to her for additional security it was impossible for Crystalia to relax. “You have to be kidding.” Her voice was incredulous. “We can’t actually be sitting here talking about diplomacy and trade when they tried to destroy New Attilan. They did destroy New Asgard. Are you just going to sit there and take it?” That was directed at the Asgardians. “Redemption has not been earned and forgiveness should not be found.”
ODINSON: “No one has said that redemption has been earned, and I would agree with you on that subject.” Odinson replied, but his tone was detached. “But personal feelings aside, they are their own nation and it is their right for us to listen to their wants. My people have found their place. We have no right to take that option away from anyone else.”
SCOTT: “That isn’t what we’re discussing here.” Scott had been watching the various pieces of discussion get tossed back and forth, finding no reason to interject until now. “We understand that there are wrongs we have to make right. We will find a way to help the world rebuild, and we will make amends, but we can’t do anything if no one works with us. If you’re looking for someone to yell at, this is the wrong room.”
VALKYRIE: “I don’t know,” Val shrugged from where she was slumped over in her chair, flask clutched tightly in one hand. Take a long swig, the inebriated frowned. She had been doing better and drinking less so Thor could drink more, but after everything she had found herself staring at the bottom of her bottle once more. “We could light their island on fire and see how they like it.” She 100% should not have been a diplomat. Her occasional bedmate was in the room as well and the Valkyrie turned to Carol. “Should be all fine and good, right? We liked to say an eye for an eye on Asgard.”
GABRIEL: Gabriel looked around the room, after getting bored with the Phoenix Force drama he went back to Shi'Ar and reclaimed his thrown. And someone was reached out to about this council meeting or whatever it was. He wasn’t sure if he trusted anyone in this room, his brothers included. So he sat back with crossed arms and listened to everything everyone had to say. Of course there are many entitled assholes in the place and it just went to show. He sat quiet and waited until he felt that there would be a good moment for him to comment in or say something back towards the others. But he was sure peace is what everyone needed after the last few things with everything getting. But his interest did pique up when the Valkyrie started to speak. Now this was finally starting to get good and interesting. “I mean, eye for an eye… isn’t that how Magneto used to work? Valkyrie might have a point.” Gabriel shrugged.
THOR: Keeping her helmet on at the table seemed rude but there were many reasons why the goddess of thunder couldn’t take it off. Mjolnir sat beside her as well, ever ready. “Nay, there will be no lighting anything on fire. Perhaps that’s how it was, but Asgard is gone.” Thor looked to the mutant who had spoken. “Valkyrie is drunk. Forgive our King.”
CAROL: Carol’s eyes flickered first to the flask and then over to meet Val’s gaze. It was steady, despite everything. “Makes the whole world blind,” Carol completed the statement, speaking to the whole room despite where her eyes were locked. Not everything was easy, but finding a way to balance her anger and her role as leader was difficult. Even moreso when the people she depended on had varied views from her. “There will be other ways to repay.”
ORORO: “An eye for an eye, would be very irrational and unfair. The Phoenix Force was a cosmic entity that not many can control.” The Kenyan accent left the young woman. “And that would cause the opposite of what we want to happen.” Bloodstorm shook her head, because she had enough of the wars, petty beefs, and battles over every small thing or misunderstood thing. “I believe that it would be best if we put everything in the past behind us… and find beneficial ways to make up for the things that were lost, destroyed, and severed.” She flipped a lock of the long white hair behind her shoulder.
SCOTT: Scott shifted his eyes to his brother and he was forced to remind himself that he wasn’t born into the same luxury that him or Alex had been. His younger self, who was also in attendance, didn’t understand Gabriel like Scott did, and he wouldn’t for a very long time. It had taken years for Scott to even comprehend that he had another brother drifting in space, and another handful of years for him to come to terms with the reality of the situation. Gabriel was angry, Scott had been angry too. And they’d both been twisted by it. “We will find another way.” He said firmly.
CRYSTALIA: “Do you know how many of us died or were injured while you used the Phoenix as an excuse?” An accusatory tone crept into her voice. “This is just disrespectful.”
SCOTT: “That’s something you don’t forget.” Scott said, his tone dipping. “So what would you suggest, Crystalia?”
EMMA: A slight tsking left her mouth. “Hush now, Princess. Such behavior is unbecoming.” The misuse of title could have been passed off as an accident even if it wasn’t. “Perhaps you’re not fit to be leading right now.”
DANTE: As Emma made that last remark flames began to drip from his eyes and he was huffing out smoke from both his mouth and nostrils. “Queen Crystalia.” He said placing emphasis on her title. “Is more than fit to lead.” He said through gritted teeth. He lost people the day of Namor’s attack and his heart was still bleeding.
PIETRO: Softly rubbed Crystalia’s shoulder, not wanting her to get upset by the drunken warrior and the mutant. “I believe we all need to work on allying together. Shared resources, motives, plans, meetings every month or so. If we are going to team together or bond, then we are only as strong as our weakest link, so we should all be well caught up on many things.” He offered up. “Maybe that’s just something we could all work on? Train each other on each other’s customs and such?”
NOH-VARR: Noh had averted his gaze and the temptation to correct Emma. He was relieved that Dante was there to help defend Crystalia’s honor. He had wished his eyes didn’t linger on Crys. Seeing Pietro’s hand caress her shoulder made his stomach drop.
GABRIEL: Gabriel cocked his head remembering what the king said. He was the biggest hater of the inhumans, due to his blow out battle with BlackBolt that ripped a hole in space. “You” He pointed to Ahura. “But we should be the ones worried about you and your people. We don’t produce a mist that harms other species.” He folded his arm, but he was still glaring at his brother… brothers?
KATE: “See, that sounds productive.” Kate nodded in agreeance towards Pietro. “There has to be something we can do other than berate each other, even if we disagree or nearly killed one another.” Even though she was seated beside Noh-Varr and Gwen due  to their West Coast Avengers affiliation, things were still weird with Noh. Add in the fact that Julian was sitting by Emma like a lap dog made it worse. Where the hell was Clint?
JEAN: “Queen.” Jean amended, knowing Emma wouldn’t correct herself. “What Namor did in New Attilan to you and your family was horrible. We would never pretend it was okay. We want to move away from the past.”
AHURA: "No, you burn down nations with cosmic entities.“ He said letting his anger slip for a moment. "That was uncalled for. I acknowledge that the acts of my father were entirely fallible and his decisions resulted in the suffering of many of your species. There is no denying that this is a tragedy and I feel deeply for those effected. But I am… Crystalia is not my father. She is smarter than that and I couldn’t fathom her doing something as reckless as what King Blackagar did.” While he said that he was currently concerned over his cousin’s stability.
VALKYRIE: “By pretending it never happened? I watched a King do that before and I won’t watch it happen again.” Odin had been a coward. “I don’t think the Inhuman is the concern here. She’s far less murdery than I remember you two being. Especially when one of you relieved Thor of his arm. Really, I believe a rematch without the Phoenix to be the best course of action.”
CLINT: Clint was running late. So late, in fact, that he probably shouldn’t have come at all at this point. But sure enough, he busted through the doors of the Summit and announced himself. “Everyone can stop their worrying, I brought–” He stopped dead in his tracks when he finally got a glance of the room he had just entered. People were eating already. Huh. Did his invite say there would be fancy food? He couldn’t remember. “–pizza.” With the hand not holding the pizza boxes, Clint slowly closed the door behind him and started looking for a place to set them down.
GABRIEL: Gabriel nodded his head towards Valkyrie, because he agreed with everything she said. “You can’t pinpoint burning down nations on us. None of us have cosmic powers within us. And we didn’t create the phoenix or force it to choose Jean. Hell why would we give it to her and not someone strong enough to mentally stand it. But That anger of the burning nations is pointed in the wrong direction.” He shot a glare back towards the kid.
KATE PRYDE: Kate had attended more as a formality – she hadn’t wanted to get mixed up in politics, it was why she had originally rejected Emma’s offer for the red throne. Yet here she was, lounging back in her seat, a squat glass in one hand and a bottle of bourbon in the other. She wasn’t drunk, far from it, but to put up with all the bickering, she knew she needed a good form of aspirin. Knob Creek would do. She was in attendance near Emma, with her cohorts also making an appearance. It was a grand gesture, having everyone here, but considering Kate couldn’t even get on to Krakoa, she didn’t know what use she had in the conversation. That was until voices began to escalate and she couldn’t drown them out no matter how much bourbon she swallowed. Should’ve gone with the Bulliet. “Another fight?” Kate tossed her words in Val’s direction. “I’m all for it, but another war isn’t smart. We’re trying to build mutant human relations, not completely destroy them. Back. Off.”
WANDA: Pietro was mollifying his ex-wife, which was good. The two had always been far too emotional and hot headed. Even though she knew that they were incompatible in one major way before anyone else Wanda had worried about what their union could result in.  Thankfully, Luna was an angel and the two had remained somewhat friends. Everyone was better off  and Wanda was thankful both had grown up to the point that they could help one another. “By moving on, I assume. I’ve always been a mutant and an Avenger. I want to believe we can be both and –” the door crashed open, revealing Clint. “–and now it seems that there’s pizza. But like my father said, no one wants war. We have to be better than our failures.”
KATE: Her phone had been buzzing as messages from Clint piled up. She had been texting him about bringing something other than the gross gazpacho they were serving, but when it heated up she had left it upside on her lap. “Idiot.” Kate mouthed as he fumbled the boxes before sliding over so that his chair was more visible. Gwen was at the very end  being uncharacteristically quiet, and as much as she hated it Kate found herself brushing up against Noh-Varr instead  to make room. “Sorry.”
AHURA: It’d be so much easier just to poses this man and shut him up that way, but alas this was a time for words, not manipulation. “As I said, that was not fair of me to say. Being offensive is the last thing I wanted to be today.” He wanted to crush him. “But as my once cousin in laws have alluded. Now is not the time for further violence, but to build bridges of piece.”
PIETRO: He looked over towards his sister, as if he could tell what she was thinking. But he wasn’t going to press that now. “I agree. Because we have kids coming up. Crystalia and I have Luna, Gabriel has his son, and whoever else in here have younger children… so I think if we get it right, it will be smoother for them to get together.” He nodded his head, but was soon distracted by Pizza. “Here let me help you out.” He moved to help Clint out.
VALKYRIE: One shoulder rose and fell. “Seems there’s always a war. “ She had been fighting them for millennia. They just kept  coming. Finally had Val come close to dying in one but it had been for naught. Conveniently, she had her sword and she unsheathed it to lay it on the table.  The new Thor had her hammer on the table anyway.
SCOTT: Scott passed a glance to Emma and then to Jean, his displeasure clear in his expression. He knew it wasn’t going to be easy. Throwing a party after being resurrected was barely a bandaid to a festering wound, and it was only going to get worse from here. “We’re not going to fight you, Val. End of conversation. I hate to pull this card, but Krakoa has granted mutants full amnesty, which means the fate of them and ourselves rests in our hands. To be handled by our own authority. It doesn’t matter if you agree, it doesn’t matter if it makes you angry. We can find a solution together, or we can be at war like decades before us.”
GABRIEL: Shot a challenging look towards the boy. The boy was giving off the same look his father did right before the two of them got into the full out fight. He sat back and crossed his arms, a flash of weakness hit his eyes when Pietro mentioned his daughter. His daughter was definitely worth him making amends with these people, so for the time being he was going to listen to all outcomes and solutions.
CAROL: "There always is. Doesn’t mean we should start one.“ Carol countered, her voice remaining level.
AHURA: The Prince took this as a slight victory and relaxed in his seat pulling his attention back to the group conversation.
CRYSTALIA: Pietro had been both calming and troubling. The Queen sat with her head held high even though she was filled to the brim with anger. “My cousin is right. I am not Black Bolt and I will not stand by while my people are taken advantage of. You call yourselves Kings and Queens,” her chin jutted towards Emma and Shaw, “But you know nothing about ruling. You’re false titles are a joke, just like this vision of the world you’re promoting. Not all of us are willing to buy into it, and your amnesty means little. I’m not the only one who feels that way.”
KATE PRYDE: Kate’s focus redirected to Crystalia and in that moment, she leaned forward and set her bottle of booze on the table near her untouched plate of food. "Too bad you don’t get much say in the matter. Mutants have worked tirelessly to be left alone, and you will not threaten that stability.”
ERIK:  “You should listen to Scott.” Erik spoke up again, his voice clear above the rest but remaining level. “My words from earlier are the truest to the facts moving forward. We have the means to protect and control ourselves, and it would do you all well to be at peace with that fact.” His gaze darted to Crystalia even while he spoke to the entire room. “Things are going to be different. But mutants will not sit back and, and we will not give up what we have already fought so hard to create for ourselves.”
EMMA: A small smirk bounced around on her lips as Kate spoke. Emma really had grown fond of her new Queen. “Pettiness looks terribly tacky on you, darling. You married a mutant, remember? He might not have loved you, but you can’t get more mutant than the House of M Dynasty. Perhaps you should keep that in mind, hm? Or do you only hate mutants when they aren’t in your bed?”
CLINT: “Thanks man.” Clint whispered to Pietro as the mutant helped with his food offering. It seemed like he came in at a bad time. Noticing Kate, he moved as quickly and quietly as he could over to the empty seat she had moved out for him and sat down. ’You guys started without me?’ He signed to her with a smirk.
JEAN: Emma. Jean hissed mentally with her thoughts open to Scott as well. We’re trying to make sure we don’t go to war again, not start one. That being said, Jean wasn’t sure where to go from there. “Well. We clearly disagree, but burning things doesn’t solve problems. I think all swords and hammers can be put away now.”
ORORO: Looked at the everyone. She seldom agreed with Erik and definitely not Emma, but the inhumans were starting to sound like the homo sapiens that hated them. Hell what if they started working with the PURIFIERS? That would be even scarier. “I don’t think that neither inhumans nor mutants are more taken advantage of. We all have persecutions and people out to get us. Another reason we should put this to past.” She looked around the room to see who was listening to her.
KATE: Yeah. Hands moved deftly under the table. You’re super late. But you’re an Avenger. Step in. Do something.
PIETRO: Pietro was fucking up a slice of pizza.
HANK: Hank had sit there quietly not intending on making a big scene but this was getting ridiculous. “You’re kidding me?” Hank spoke up. “This is a UN meeting to solve our conflicts and you’re throwing insults at each other left and right?” His attention moved to Crys. “For a queen you have a wildly dangerous temper. You’re trying to get people rallied up and to your side but you’re just making the room far more hostile. And you.” He said turning to Emma. “Could you just say something productive or shut that mouth of yours? I have met multiple iterations of you and haven’t met one that I liked.” He took a deep breath as his fingers began tapping on the table his pulse was rising and his anxiety was acting up. He needed to take a minute. “And I’m sorry, Magneto, but that’s just not how it works. You don’t come to a gathering of leaders and representatives, say that this is what you want and that’s going to be the way it’s going to be and expect everyone to go along with it? You sound as much the egomaniac as the man from my earth. If we’re going to discuss let’s discuss dammit!” He said with a slam of his hand onto the table.
PIETRO:  “That’s a low fucking blow. I did love her, you don’t get to invalidate that. You should also be shutting the hell up, because you were a host of the Phoenix and fucked shit up too. So no one really need your opinion on things.” Pietro finally getting what the woman said. “And you…” He pointed to his father. “She killed the fuck out of you, so for you to take her side is very not right at all.”
ERIK: “Look back on history, Dr Pym. Tell me that our wishes are out of hand when so much death and suffering has been cast upon us over the decades.” Erik’s tone had changed, growing sharper. “We will work with the world the best we can, but we have standards. We now have rights that we had no other choice but to give to ourselves– because the rest have wanted only to take them away. We make these choices because we have to, because no one has helped us before.”
WANDA: It was quickly dissolving into chaos. Wanda didn’t disagree with what Hank was saying. Crystalia had always been arrogant and stubborn and Emma could be classified as the same. The fact that she and Jean were sitting next to each other after everything that happened still surprised her. When Pietro spoke a tiny smile crept to her face before she quickly tucked it away. “My brother makes a good point, no matter how colorful his language. We have all ‘fucked shit up’,” she quoted awkwardly. “But we all deserve another chance and that chance should not start with us belittling each other.”
ORORO: "I agree with Wanda.“
HANK: "I don’t argue that in a bubble this sounds great and wonderful but the world doesn’t exist in a bubble. Because you want something doesn’t mean you get it and feelings only get you so far. I’m not against the concept of Krakoa but if you’re going to vouch for it and say you’ll work with the world come off as if you will. You and I both know that good intentions can be twisted into something vile.”
CRYSTALIA: The instant Emma spoke her face flushed bright red. The embarrassment still lingered. Medusalith’s face when she heard the news coupled with Black Bolts silent judgement brought tears to her eyes. Even now with her cousin beside her she flinched as if he was going to tell her it wasn’t a good idea. Their marriage had long been annulled and Luna could walk on her own, but it didn’t matter. She had failed in her marriage and she would fail as  Queen. Dr. Pym was right: she was too temperamental. “How dare you.” It wasn’t a question as Crystalia rose to her feet quickly. “My ex-husband and my child are off limits in discussion. Although we shouldn’t be surprised by your fathers choice of alliance, Pietro. He never was good at decision making or doing what’s best for anyone other than himself.” Her heart was pounding her ears, a white hot rage. One finger was extending towards Emma, a small gust of air accompanying it. “Mutants can burn for all I care.”
ERIK: “Personal matters must be set aside when determining the fate of mutants, my dear son.” His last few words were tinged with sarcasm, but his point still stood. Emma might have killed him, but at the core of it all they wanted the same thing. He would work with his demons if it meant keeping his people safe. “Krakoa isn’t going anywhere.” His attention turned back to Hank. “That is a fact. Twist my words however you’d like– that is not my problem. It is yours. Things are different now. I am different.” And then Crystalia was talking. Her words were meant to burn but it didn’t phase him. “You can all say and think what you want about me. The truth cannot be changed, and the truth is that mutants come first. They always have in my mind, and in my heart and in my soul. What I do now is for them, for us. The only promise I give is that I will not stop fighting for that.”
KATE PRYDE:  She was going to swing the bottle. That was Kate’s first choice. But as she rose out of her seat and began to phase through the table to where Crystalia stood, her hand passed through the bottle of bourbon on her accord and she instead balled it into a fist and swung. Her tattooed knuckles collided so hard into Crystalia’s jaw that she heard the crack resonate through her fingers as the middle two broke. The pain wasn’t there yet, it was being suppressed by the unbridled anger that was spilling over. She didn’t say anything as she stood there, her body tense as her focus hyperfixated on Crystalia and no one else.
AHURA: He could quite literally feel her rage, her embarrassment, everything. It was being funneled directly into his mind through his empathy. “Take a walk.” He projected into her head as he stood up from his seat and brushed his pants. “We have decided to depart for the evening. Thank you for the opportunity and while we have our differences today I hope we can work through them over ti-” It was then that he felt the wind of a well thrown punch whiz past his face and into crystalia’s jaw. In an instant he went from civil to soldier. His eyes shined bright blue as a dozen spiritual projections surrounded Kate.
GABRIEL: “Alright. My daughter has a doctor’s appointment and I am not getting into this.” He stood up and watched Carol punch the hell out of her. He didn’t feel bad, due to the woman’s words of ‘mutants can burn’ - his daughter was a mutant and he wasn’t here for anyone shit talking the mutants or saying something that would suggest any harm to all mutants.
DANTE: As Kate threw a her punch Dante rose to his feet. His skin cracked and molted as magma became rock on his flesh and fire streamed like tears from his eyes and flames drooled from the maw of Inferno.
NOH-VARR:  Entirely on impulse Noh rose from his seat and extended an arm out. “Crys!” He called out on instinct despite knowing full well she didn’t want anything to do with him.
PIOTR: "Katya!“ He yelled out almost as if a scold as he stood to his feet knocking over his own beverage in the process. "What is wrong with you?! This is not you!”
ILLYANA: Well, now it was fun. Illyana hated the loud Inhuman so it was hard not to smile. Instead she pulled her sword off her back just to be safe, eyes quickly darting in the direction of her brother. If they wanted a fight she would fight. “Stand down, brother. She can fend for herself. Clearly.”
PIOTR:  “This is not about aptitude it is about what’s right!” His words were somewhat slurred as the smell of vodka lingered on himself. “Katy- Kate.” He caught himself. “Please.”
CLINT: Clint waited to respond as things in the room started to escalate. He took in a breath, reached for a piece of pizza, and took a large bite. Then he slowly shook his head, eyes wide as the Inhuman Queen got decked in the face. ’No way I’m getting in the middle of that.’
CRYSTALIA: For a whole minute, Crystalia had no idea what happened. She was approached quickly by the red clad mutant who reeked of booze and all of the sudden – hands connected with her jaw and Crystalia saw stars as her head snapped to the side before the motion sent her to the ground. There was a crack and her face felt like it was splintering but it was hard to say how much damage had been inflicted. A part of her knew that she had been out of line but time and time again mutants continued to throw the first punch. Her hands hurt from where they connected with the floor, body tangled up in her dress. Sitting there with a ringing in her ears, Crystalia tried to clear her head before pulling herself to her feet and raising a hand to gingerly touch her already bruising jaw. A pained grow was let loose from her lips as flames burst towards the Red Queen.
KATE: Immediately, Kate’s attention was forced away from Crystalia as the room retaliated. “Ah hell,” she heard herself say as she backed up a bit, giving herself some distance from the Inhumans. Shaking out her hand, she ignored the pleas from behind her and paid attention to ensuing anger before her. “Maybe next time—” her words were cut short by a burning sting that snaked up her arm just as Kate willed herself incorporeal. The rest of the flames extended past her and Kate moved out of the way, keeping her singed arm and broken hand close to her chest. Taking form near Emma, Kate was quick pushing her words out. “I get this is my fault, but I think we should go.”
EMMA: There was a reason why Emma had picked Kate. Even back when she was Kitty Pryde she had been something and after years of waiting for her to explore her full potential they had finally made it to this point. It was messy, of course, and brought on by unsettling circumstances but it was beautiful as well. Progress was often made through trial and error, after all. The telepath was already preparing to enter any minds that may have needed to be soothed when Kate backed up into her. Her body took on its diamond appearance a millisecond after Kate went intangible but it remained so even after the brunette returned to normal. “Well, darling, you’ve certainly made your first appearance as the Red Queen memorable. You and I will have a chat later about how to conduct ourselves.” Battles won with words were always more entertaining. Dropping a hand onto Kate’s arm, Emma smiled at the crowd. “I see your threats to burn us down were not made in vain. Lawyers will bring the required paperwork for  trading. In the meantime, it’s such a shame to hope that humans can evolve and time and time again see that they can’t. Next time, perhaps?”
NOH-VARR: The Kree very quickly wedged himself between Crystalia and everyone in front of her. His eyes pleaded with her to stop. “Crys…”
ERIK: ”Enough!” Erik stood up, slamming his fist against the table. Along with the noise made when his hand hit the surface, every metal utensil in the room shook– some of them even sliding onto the floor in the process. He had been able to keep himself under control, and he wasn’t about to lose that now. After standing, Erik took slow steps over in the direction of Kate and Emma, eyes glancing to different people in the room but lingering on Crystalia. “Contrary to what many of you may believe– I was hoping to forgo violence for at least today. Perhaps it is best that we all leave now. Behavior like this won’t be tolerated.”
JEAN: Jean was trying to be more composed than her counterparts. She rose gracefully to take her place between Erik and Scott, hands folding in front of her dress. “Of course, this isn’t ideal for anyone. We apologize for any harm done, but we remain firm on our stances. Queen Amaquelin, the last thing we want is to go to war with the Inhumans once more. Please let us know the cost of any damages and we will cover the bill ourselves. The world can be better than what it is, but we have to work to get it there.” With that being said, Jean nodded for Illyana to open up a portal for the mutants while others prepared to go to the Krakoan portal. “Have a nice evening.”
CRYSTALIA: Her chest was heaving from adrenaline and pain but the flames had died down. She still wanted to lash out and retaliate because her pride had been hurt but suddenly Noh-Varr was there. His presence didn’t take away from the aching in her jaw but it did make her self-conscious about the tears stinging in her eyes. “Noh?” She blinked, taking a step back. Where was Pietro and Ahura?
NOH-VARR: “Yes Crys, it’s me.” He said slowly taking a step towards her. He wanted to wipe her tears but knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. “Can we talk?” He wanted to get her out of here and it was something he had been meaning to do.
CRYSTALIA: For a moment she hesitated. The room was full of people who were either staring or beginning to file out. The event had ended and now she stood with shaking hands and a chest that couldn’t catch its breath. “Talk? I – yes. We can talk. I just – I need to get out of here.”
NOH-VARR: He handed a glass of water to her that he took off of the table and through his coat over her shoulders. “Let’s go.” He said gently as they made their way out.
