In other news, y’all might’ve noticed I’ve been gone for a few days, and that’s because I’ve been at Sakura-Con with @brovie96! 

Naturally I got my obligatory shirts: this year the The Grand Couturier herself, Frilly Satan Nui Harime from Kill la Kill, and the infamous SEELE 01 Sound-only Monolith from Evangelion. Next are those Gameboy games: Harvest Moon GB, and the Pokemon Trading Card Game game that I’ve wanted for over 10 years now. Then we have the BD/DVD of Noein, a non-legally-streamable series I’ve been dying to watch for years now, and if a con isn’t an excuse to splurge, I don’t know what is. Almost last but most certainly not least we have this precious Madoka plush whom I shall protect and adore for the rest of my life.

IMPORTANT NOTE PLEASE READ IF FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU SEE THIS POST: I either lost or didn’t get a card for the artist of my amazing D.VA poster, and I cannot for the life of me remember their name. I know they’re on Tumblr and I’ve seen their art around before, so if somebody recognizes and can point me their way that would be greatly appreciated!

Other activities I got to partake in include the Fate/Grand Order panel with special guests Rumi Okubo, voice of Elizabeth Bathory and Astolfo, and Yosuke Shiokawa, the project’s creative director; and Okamoto’s’s concert, which was amazing.

This weekend was the happiest I’ve consistently felt probably since the last con (wow that’s really kinda sad now that I think about it). I am already feeling a good deal of the Post-con Blues now, especially knowing that I have to go back to school tomorrow, but hopefully the mood-boost will prove sufficient to get me through this quarter.

That being said, I’m already starting plans for next time (it’d be nice if I could go next year, but I might be in Japan this time next year (oh no what a horrible alternative, right?)) for finally getting to do some cosplay and getting to stay the whole 3 days.

Till then, I shall face my uncertain, less anime-permeated future with my head held high!
