I've had this AU idea in my head for a while where the Eltingville Club and the Northwest Comix Collective are cousins. Besides Jerry and James, they're half-brothers but more of that later.
Both groups hate eachother when everyone is around. But when it's family or just them alone they don't actually have beef with one another and are completely chill.

I could see Aaron being kinda jealous of Bill in a way. Bill gets to openly be a nerd about superhero comics, while Aaron feels like he needs to hide the fact he genuinely enjoys them. He doesn't want to be seen as a loser like Bill, but at the same time wants to indulge in his interests. Bill probably questions if Aaron is actually into superhero comics, cause Aaron may accidently slip and things here and there. But I don't think Bill Dickey over here would care too much. If Aaron was to tell Bill, they would enjoy eachothers company a bit more. Up until they get into a stupid fight about lore or which marvel girl is hotter. Something dumb like that, lol. Bill would also totally use this as blackmail against Aaron. Maybe it's best if Aaron keeps his love for superhero comics a secret.

Jerry and James are a bit deeper. They have the same mom, but different dads. You can tell by their noses, lol. What I've thought about so far is James' dad passed away, his mom got over it sooner than he did, got remarried and had Jerry. That's why he hates his mom and step-dad and he prefers to go by "Prolongo" rather then switching to "Stokes". He doesn't care for Jerry much if not at all. Probably a bit jealous and mad that he gets to have his blood related father. Is it Jerry's fault? Nah. But who cares? Definitely not James.
Jerry kinda wishes he had an actual brother that would hang out with him and be a brother. I'd imagine his parents are workaholics/always away so he tends to get really lonely at home and hangs out with the Eltingville Club cause that's his only options for friends. He probably tried to get James to like him when he was younger, but with how James was already felt about him and the fact he is years older it didn't work out. Poor Jer...
Unfortunately I don't have any ideas for Rodney, Pete, Jay Bird, and Josh. Though I can oddly see Rodney and Pete getting along when they're alone more then the others, for some odd reason.

Anywho, that's my AU idea. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Edit: Someone reposted mentioning that James and Jerry would be called half-brothers, not step-brothers. I totally forgot that was the right term so I've fixed it. Thank you to that person!

Northwest comix collective x reader 👀👉👈
Prestige…A CULT!

Summary: NWCC x Reader
TW/CW: None
A/N: I’m going to be honest and say this was the hardest request (especially Jaybird for some reason). I’m sorry for any mischaracterizations I’ve made in this x reader (first time writing them at all)
Reblogs are appreciated

- You probably met Aaron during art class. He stood out with his harsh criticisms and the rich vocabulary he used in said criticisms. Not to mention, you’ve seen some of his sketches and they were pretty unique
- This was someone who was passionate about the arts, even if the way they showed it was…pretty unconventional.
- Honestly, for someone like Aaron, you would have to say “fuck it” and approach him directly. He likes a person who’s “raw and passionate” about their feelings. Someone who isn’t afraid of actually showing their vision to the world
- If he did fell first, prepare for someone who uses his French erotica as a way to charm you. Would play up his fake accent and send you love letters to your house (to be fair, they’re kind of romantic once you get past the shock that he somehow knew where you lived)
- He would also start drawing you. From afar, of course. He feels his pen drifting through the textured sketchbook while he tries to capture your likeness. It always ends up not quite getting there. Maybe the composition’s off, or the perspective makes your left hand bigger than your right, but still. It’s you.
- Definitely used you as inspo for some of his comics (it’s trying his members up the wall with the how obsessed he is with you)
- Once you two finally date, “expect nothing but the best”
- Would take you to see the most underground indie film he could find. He’ll hold you close while explaining, in detail, the whole process of the film (including why he chose those seats in the first place)
- Going to a museum would be a nightmare. He scoffs at the notion of “mainstream art”, even if said art piece was the Mona Lisa itself.
- He prefers gallery walks about “underground artist”. You may never fully get it, but hey! You can feel yourself getting more “cultured” by the minute
- If he really trusts you…maybe he’d show you his mainstream comic collection. Maybe. It’s hard for him to accept the fact that him, “someone with impeccable taste”, actually would like X-Men or Captain America
- Still…it would be nice for someone to “get it”; for someone to not judge his other taste in media
- Would probably soften up once he shows you that side. Still an ass, but hey! Better than him over explaining a simple scene from a movie no one has heard of

- Probably met Jaybird at a punk show. He strikes me as someone who goes there in order to get “inspiration”
- Started to talk after it wrapped up, and you two kind of connected after that
- Knowing his creative work (a satirist), he scanned any media you may have liked through your profiles
- That’s where he picks up the pen and ink and starts doodling. It’s mainly crude parodies of your favorite media, but it’s the closest he’s going to get to you at this point
- Meanwhile, you found it intriguing that he was basically making parodies of…well, everything! Jaybird’s not really afraid of making fun both of the mainstream and indie, and that makes you appreciate him even more
- I feel like you two would bond over zine making. It’s the perfect medium for satire/political talking points. He mainly handles the art, while you handle the writing and binding. It’s weirdly therapeutic (if you can get past his ramblings and crude drawings)
- That’s another thing: he rambles. A lot. Especially since you’re the only person who tolerates it, he could go on and on for hours and hours about his drawing ideas, his favorite satirical media, why X is better than W, and so on and so forth
- Would absolutely DIE if you decide to wear any punk clothing, though would be petty if you “copied” his style (maybe you could trick him if you say you’re satirizing him, but probably best to stick with your own fashion choices)

- Now Rodney, you definitely met in a drawing class
- After the club pestering him about his skills, he reluctantly decided to take classes outside of college and try to find “like minded people”
- He’s struggling in that class. It always feels as though he can’t seem to get anything right. “Whatever. All that matters is how I truly feel”
- You spot him one and offer to help him; one on one
- He scoffs at the idea, but after feeling himself just getting more and more pissed at drawing, he reluctantly agrees
- That was where your first date was: at a park somewhere. Probably you both drawing the landscapes and just enjoying each other’s company
- It was weird to Rodney. Sure, he’s used to drawing with the collective, but never with a stranger; a friendly one no less
- Probably starts yapping about art and feelings in general. How he only took this class in order to get a higher grade, how he wishes his collective knew about his true visions, and how it’s weird that you wanted to spend one on one time with him
- If you do start to hang out more, expect him to mansplain about “real” art and “real” emotions. He wants you to understand about how he got here and why he believes “A true artist draws how they feel”
- Possibly the only one where you can take to a mainstream museum and not having him overly judge the art (though it’s mainly because he feels he’s above the galleries)
- Benefit is that you start to understand that good art isn’t everything. You start to actually draw more about how you feel than copying everything irl
- Meanwhile, Rodney probably learns not to be so stubborn about criticism and actually improves his skills because of it
- You two weirdly compliment each other

- Definitely met James at an art store. He’s all about experimentation, so he was randomly buying art supplies for his “masterpiece”
- It was odd. He looked like an artist, act like an artist…but the materials he was picking out was odd. Out of place almost.
- He’ll admit it, you were kind of annoying to talk to at first. Interrupting his genius plan, as he would state
- However, he never met anyone wanting to see his process, so he guess he’ll show you
- His studio’s a mess, and he makes you sit down next to him while he explains his upcoming project. I think he actually knows how to draw, so it would be nice actually seeing him teach you “a thing or two” about art
- By the end, you were left stunned (and his ego stroked)
- Would take you the most underground shows possible (wow! Just like Aaron)
- He also has a pretty impressive vinyl collection while we’re at it. Sometimes, when you’re at his place, he’ll play one of the tracks and maybe even watch a movie while you two are at it
- Constantly making new projects. The type to immediately write it down the moment it strikes him. Will sometimes show you it and asks for your critique (he rarely uses it)
- Would absolutely want to get matching piercings with you if you guys ever hit one year
- Maybe overtime, he actually starts listening to your critiques, but he’s as stubborn as a mule, so you do what you can

Ok so first of all I LOVE YOUR WRITING I LOVE IT SOO MUCH!!! I wanna know if you can do a northwest comix collective one.. but hear me out: jaybird getting really dominant and pressing his combat boots on Rodney, Aaron or James (or just threatening all three) ITS OK IF NOT I GET THAT TOO 🥹
(Lowkey I love Rodney so much hes so dumb
Title:" Under your boot
(Jaybird x Rodney [slight flirting+ fighting])
Jaybird slammed the door shut behind him, the rattle of the frame louder than it needed to be. His breath came out sharp, pissed off. “You think you're funny, huh?”
Rodney was already leaning against the long table like he owned the place, arms crossed over his chest, mouth twitching in that half-smirk that always meant trouble. "I know I’m funny. You’re just the only one in the club who doesn’t have a sense of humor or a working dick."
Jay moved fast. Combat boots echoing across the concrete floor, closing the space like a shot.
Rodney barely had time to flinch before Jay pressed him back—hard—one boot planted dead center on his chest, pinning him to the table. Not rough enough to injure, but definitely enough to own him.
Rodney’s breath caught. His hands curled around the edges of the table, but he didn’t push Jay off.
Jay leaned forward, one hand bracing the edge. His eyes burned. “You run that mouth one more time—one more time—and I’ll break your fucking ribs.”
Rodney laughed. Laughed. It was low and sharp, but there was something else in it—something that vibrated with interest.
"You threatening me or flirting with me, Birdboy?" he said, his voice a little husky now. “’Cause you’re kinda heavy, and I’m kinda into it.”
Jay didn’t move. His jaw clenched, eyes narrow, but there was a shift—just a flicker—in his stance. Like something registered and he hated that it did.
“You’re disgusting,” he muttered.
Rodney tilted his head, lips quirking. “You’re the one with your boot on me, pretty boy.”
A beat passed between them. Thick. Tense. The air humming with something that wasn't quite anger anymore.
Jay’s boot didn’t move.
Jay shoved harder with the toe of his boot, making Rodney grunt.
"You want to test me?" Jay's voice dropped an octave—low, sharp, controlled fury. "Keep going. I dare you."
Rodney smirked up at him, breathing heavier now. "What? You gonna lecture me to death? Or are you finally gonna admit you like having me underneath you?"
Jay’s nostrils flared. “You're seriously pushing it.”
Rodney laughed again, this time darker, strained, like even he could feel the current twisting under the fight. He suddenly twisted, rolling to the side and knocking Jay’s leg off balance. Jay stumbled, and Rodney surged forward, ramming him into the shelving with a solid thud.
Jay grabbed his shirt and flipped them, slamming Rodney back against the metal with a growl. “You think I won’t fucking break your face?”
Rodney’s breath hitched, teeth bared in something between a grin and a snarl. “Do it. Might make you feel something for once.”
Jay hesitated—just for a split second. Because he did feel something. His fist was cocked, but his knuckles were trembling. Not with restraint.
Rodney looked him dead in the eye. “That’s what this is about, right? You wanna hit me so bad but you can’t decide if you hate me or if you wanna—”
Jay’s hand snapped to Rodney’s jaw, not punching—just gripping it. Fingers pressed firm along his cheek. Dominant. Controlling.
Rodney’s mouth parted, breath shivering. He didn’t pull away.
Jay’s voice was a whisper now, but it cut like a blade. “You talk too much.”
“And you get too close,” Rodney rasped. “Not that I mind.”
They were so close now Jay could smell the sweat on Rodney’s collar, see the faint red mark from the boot on his chest. Their bodies weren’t just in each other’s space—they were locked in a silent dare.
Then—
Rodney leaned in the tiniest bit, just enough to make Jay’s grip tighten.
“You don’t scare me,” Rodney murmured.
Jay leaned in, lips by his ear. “Then maybe you’re stupider than I thought.”
Rodney shivered. “Or maybe you like that I don’t scare easy.”
Jay pushed off him like he’d been burned, breath ragged, glaring but rattled. “You’re not worth it.”
Rodney straightened his shirt, slow, deliberate. “Sure I am. You just don’t know what to do with it.”
Jay turned toward the door, fists clenched, practically vibrating.
Rodney called after him, voice low and smug. “Boots look good on you, Birdboy. Try stepping on me again sometime. Might actually finish what you started.”
Jay paused.
Didn’t look back.
But he didn’t slam the door, either.

Havoc Twins' Bizarro style!!
+Blue art piece
Made these the other day, Thought I'd share them!!!
The Prep Twins are typically the NWCC versions, Sporting to be their opposites and are living a complete turnaround life than the Havoc Twins.
Benny is close acquaintances with the NWCC but he definitely has some beef with them, He doesn't understand that arts and crafts bs!!
Beau is more so a bystander to her brother's emotions for that group, She doesn't even know why he still hangs around with them even if he thinks so lowly of these pricks.
That's all, Stay awesome!!💙

I finally finished!!! My NWCC ocs, Piper and KC with a little info on them on the side
I realized that KC has her eyes closed on both drawing and I wanted to say that she does open them, I just wanted the eyeshadow to pop more
They’re just basically my TEC ocs if they were art college students with aesthetic changes (there’s more than just that about them)
