I think for my money it would be a different dynamic this time. With where this began and how it came about, I think it would be more of a competitive tint.

Chloé was rejected as the Bee. She does know she screwed up with Miracle Queen, but also thinks LB was in the wrong in general with how she treated Queen Bee. Chloé knows something LB doesn't, Cat Noir/Adrien's ID. It's the first time she's ever been an insider on anything.

So she's out to prove herself, to prove she could be a good hero, to prove that Adrien's show of trust is founded (vs. LB who she thinks didn't trust her) By this token she's not as hot-headed. She can't afford to screw up, but she's also not going to be waiting on LB's every word. It's a very narrow tightrope to walk, and a challenge for her. Only success will make it worth the effort.

This dynamic makes for an interesting challenge for Ladybug too(something that improves every narrative is multiple arcs) Empuress is not a lovesick partner, she's not a differential part timer. For the first time in her life Ladybug jas to work with someone as an equal.

As for the flirting- I think any Crush Chloé might have had on LB was burned with the 'death' of Queen Bee in this scenario. Chloé's learning to stop chasing after the people who abandoned her.

This sparks a whole lot of questions like is this an AU- anyway without getting sidetracked by that he would be a very active participant, very reasonable, all the mom's love him until he starts bringing baked goods that far surpass theirs. But they can't stay mad at him, he's so sweet and really cares about all the kids having a good time. He's also a proud cat dad though, he will casually slip in praise for the me (and all his other kiddos, he's the dad of the guild to ME) into conversation, but it never feels forced or insensitive or like bragging. He's very humble in general.

oni- 5/10 its ok feel similar to yang in that its just general ninjago fare

mystake- its ok its a bit short like 5/10 tbh i like the percussive bits

yang- 5/10 its ok idk very generic ninjago fare but it suits the scene its from well

warden- harumis theme included automatic 10/10 (joke) but i do like this one. sorry i just really like the s8/9 ost they always bang for real. this ones a bit more on the chill side and its not that remarkable/memorable as far as the versions of rumi's theme go so like 5/10

cursed- 6/10 its a fun track but its like weirdly dramatic for a not very dramatic fight scene which is kind of funny. ok fight track

ouroboros- 6/10 yk going thru this list i noticed a lot of these are very percussive which is fine but yk. also very short

final- 7/10 a classic but nothing crazy

upply- 8/10 really big fan of all of motm's leitmotifs and the different percussion instruments in this really help distinguish it from like. every other extremely percussive ninjago song. but the leitmotif helps a lot too its very epic and grounded.

possess- 9/10 im a violin player so im always very biased to when ninjago uses violins and i reallyyy like their use here bc its like the dark intense but contrasted with the little fiddle notes and yea. its cool its very morro-y. the back and forth between the violin and the rest of the ensemble is really fun it reminds me a lot of the danse macabre and tbh they prolly took inspiration from that seeing as its one of the most well known pieces abt the undead

garmy- 10/10 one of my absolute favorite ninjago tracks ever sorry i absolutely love the mesh of the sons of garmadon theme ( one of my favorite leitmotifs) and the garmadon family theme bc its just sooo fucking crazy and intense and it suits the scene its in so well. mega banger alert

nya- really love this one. lots of ninjago music is extremely percussive so this one is really nice bc its so Different. the slow careful treading at the beginning building up into something intense and i always rlly like nya's music bc its very different instrument wise from most of the other tracks and she has a lot more wind instruments usually but it also just focuses more on the wind + strings than the percussion which is nice. and the overarching beat done by the what i assume is bells of some sort but electronic instruments dont always sound 1:1 to real ones but yk what i mean(idk why i wrote so much abt this one but its a good track. 10/10)

honestly i just ship them because i think they're so funny.

Vincent is really bad with modern tech since he's been asleep for 30 years, he doesn't keep a phone and his friends dunk on him for it, he can't get things working at all

while Reeve is a tech genius who can give its own life to a robot while he can hack things and stuff.

it makes for a funny dynamic, in Rebirth at some point Vincent struggles with some tech and Cait Sith has to intervene and it's cute to me

it's really in Dirge of Cerberus that they get to shine because Vincent is the main character here and his two supporting allies in the whole game are Yuffie and Reeve in particular, Reeve especially because he's trying to clean the remaining bullshit Shinra had set up now, and asking for Vincent's help becaause it's Vincent's father's methods that led them here.

So it means that often Reeve will send Cait Sith to assist while Vincent is deeply sighing about it

but there's also this very funny moment in doc where Reeve is there with Vincent discussing all of this when suddenly they get attacked and Reeve gets hit pretty hard.... so hard that he literally collapses in multiple pieces in front of Vincent. And Vincent freaks out. Only for Cait Sith to arrive and say "fear not! it was a robot looking like me!" and Vincent is like for fucking crying out loud are you fucking serious does everything have to be mech with you, while Cait Sith is like. :3c nya!

but also tbh there is also a bit of angst that makes them really interesting, as they are the two people who were heavily involved with Shinra, and unknowingly or not, ended up helping Shinra get the supremacy they had at the time of the og, and helped with Shinra abusing people and experimenting on that. Reeve is determined to do something about it and he won't stop, while Vincent had almost retired a few times to pay for his sins by suffering and remembering what he has lost, and he has to have friends tell him there's others way for him to atone. And i think his dynamic with Reeve, especially by DOC, is really this dynamic of, Vincent sees Reeve, just as sinful and dirty as him, working hard to rebuild everything he had even the tiniest involvement in destroying, and Vincent's own way to atone for his mistakes isn't enough anymore and he can be inspired by Reeve to put his focus in the right place.

Granted i haven't touched DOC in over a decade so i may have forgotten a lot of it, but it's really just the concept behind it i really like. Those two tortured Shinra-ex-allies who have so many sins to pay for and who can inspire each other into putting their guilt into their effort to make things better. all while it's about a guy with a robot catsona and a guy who turn into monsters.

Okay, so I kinda know where to start with my Gravity Falls OCs.

This is by no means how they'll end up. They're very bare-bones. Like not complete characters. But I have some backstories and where I think they'll end up so far. Hypotheses if you will.

CASSIOPEIA "CASSIE" GLORY PINES - Dipper's and Mabel's grandparents (Shermie and his wife I believe?) had an estranged daughter. I don't quite know what happened between them but she was kind of their Bruno Madrigal if that makes sense. Cassie is not the estranged daughter. The estranged daughter is Cassie's mom. Anyway, Cassie's mom gets sick and she has these weird things like a Spidey-sense. And her judgement is never wrong. So she tells Cassie the truth: that she's about to die and she doesn't want Cassie to see it or end up in foster care. I'm assuming Cassie's mom maintained some contact with Stan because she sends her there. It's a bit like East and Glory in Almost, Maine (hence Cassie's middle name) where it's super confusing because these two don't know each other at all and Cassie's pretty much just blindly obeying her mother because of her mom's tendency to be strangely correct about things but also a complete weirdo. I don't think this makes sense, but it's Gravity Falls so I don't think it has to make sense. She does bond with Stan and depending on where in the timeline this happens, the mystery twins and Ford. She's definitely invested in the Gravity Falls weirdness but a bit more rational/calm than Dipper and Ford.

ELIZABETH HAMILTON(?) PINES - She's also very bare bones. I don't even know if she counts because I based her on Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton, specifically the version in the musical. She's very shy. But she meets Ford at a dance and the two hit it off right away. They start dating but they break up because Ford's going to West Coast Tech and they just don't know how to make it work. However, Ford's plans to go to West Coast Tech fall through. He ends up at Backupsmore University. Meanwhile, Elizabeth's taken a few gap years and gone on all sorts of adventures that I might make a fic of. I believe she actually had a brief stint in Gravity Falls because I love connecting things and foreshadowing and stuff like that, but she didn't like all the paranormal stuff and left because she wasn't curious. So anyway, they reunite and get back together. And they still click remarkably well. They do eventually get married but then the whole thing with the portal happens and Elizabeth is separated from Ford. She was never really happy with all the stuff Ford kept doing and insisting on doing. Very Take a Break coded. But he gets out of the portal when Stan brings him back and... well, I'd like to believe the two reconcile. I haven't figured that part out yet. There's also a whole weird legal thing because Stan faked his own death and took on Ford's identity, but... Actually, realistically speaking, it all probably fell through. I'm not sure.

Also, if you have questions about or ideas for the Gravity Falls musical, please do the same thing because I need ideas. I'm not great at songwriting and I'm also very excited to design costumes/sets and block/choreograph certain scenes because there are a lot of things that work in cartoons but are a bit more challenging to transfer to the stage (such as Bipper, Mabeland, and the portal). I don't expect to include Cassie or Elizabeth in the musical. This is supposed to be as true to the cartoon as possible. But, y'know... Nya :3c
