Pokemon Scarlet/Violet - Voice Actor Headcanons (Teal Mask and Indigo Disk Edition)
Tumblr media
So, the version of this post I did for the main game turned out to be one of my all time most popular posts on this platform, and I'm honestly super happy about that. The majority of people seemed to really like the voices that I picked for each of the characters, and there were some fun discussions in the reblogs and comments.
So it was only a matter of time before I got around to doing the DLC characters, and now that Indigo Disc is finally out, better now than never. Pokemon obviously rarely has voice acting in the main series, so this is the next part of the series where I assign English VA's to each of the characters.
Before I get into this, there are a few points I need to reiterate, as I often do with these posts.
This is NOT CANON. These are HEADCANONS and are unofficial. It’s just a hypothetical situation. If the characters were voiced, this is who I imagine would voice them.
Every major character in the DLC is included here, so there are HEAVY SPOILERS for the game’s DLC storylines. DO NOT READ THIS POST IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE TEAL MASK OR INDIGO DISC OR DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED.
This VA Headcanons post is SPECIFICALLY for the characters from Pokemon ScarVi's DLC. If you want to see the characters from the main game, the post is here.
As was the case with Nemona and Penny, it's highly likely that the characters will get official English VA's in Pokemon Masters. Remember that this post was constructed prior to this.
So without further ado, I hope you enjoy my ideas. Or don’t. Your choice.

Hey it's the guy from that other rant about how Nemona, Arven, and Penny are getting ignored for no reason by DLC advertising in a game that's supposed to be about forming treasured unbreakable bonds with well-written sad kids who desperately needed friends and are presented as sort of Strength, Courage and Wisdom Trio by the ending, back with a new post now that one of the DLCs is out and haha I bet you know what I have to say don't you
What was the point of excluding Nemona, Arven, and Penny from The Teal Mask if there are three unnamed and generic-modeled but consistently written student NPCs present anyway, and the content is level 60-75, so you're clearly not intended to do it without finishing the game*? Not only do they not see you off or gain any new dialogue when you get home, they aren't mentioned or alluded to in any way shape or form. They're still statues standing in their rooms with one line of dialogue, the one thing I wanted DLC and updates to change the most. They never notice you left the country for a week.
* UPDATE: Apparently the DLC has level scaling even though the base game didn't, and it is accessible with 0 badges, and that is why there are no references to the preexisting story - it might not have happened yet. Fascinating. I guess that part holds less weight then and this whole post is a little less necessary. I'll leave the rest of the post unedited but it really did seem like this was designed as postgame content only regardless of when it becomes available. Guess not! So I guess, instead, the story got shot in the foot a little bit by the decision to make it available to new players instead of for no reason. I think they should have let it be postgame content, but, I'm a little less worried now. This makes sense within those rules. I guess.
Fanart like this is now coming out and getting tons of likes asking why this happened after six months of countless pieces of cute fanart like this all turned out to be for nothing.
As people are already realizing, it would have been really fun and logical for two of the three who don't really get along with each other yet (which is any combination of them, really, that's part of the fun, and part of why their stories should continue) to be forced to team up into an odd couple, while the third gets to know Carmine and perhaps build a rivalry with her. Wouldn't it be fun to see them talking about their own adventures they were going on, and how they were starting to get along, even if it was happening offscreen? (Because this DLC is focused on introducing new characters to set up for later and that's fine) Wouldn't it be smart to set up the group dynamic for Indigo Disc in advance as preparation for a return to Area Zero and that whole professor-haunted main plotline with a larger cast?
It's just giving me even more apparently-not-unfounded paranoia that yeah, we've never been shown the friend trio in new footage in a DLC trailer because not just Penny but somehow even Arven and Nemona are going to be completely irrelevant to a DLC about finding closure on Area Zero's story and going to a school all about top-level battling. Why else would they go this far out of their way to avoid including them as characters? This is like... active sabotage of their own story at this point.
... Could they really just not be bothered to model three characters in jinbei, and repeatedly shot in the foot their best story yet and all the setup they did for continuing it... over that? That'd be stupid, right? Unfortunately, I don't have the confidence in the company to put anything past them right now.
I just don't know how The Indigo Disc is going to carry the weight of everything they've set up expectations for it to do, unless it's like three times bigger than this little teaser of a DLC in terms of actual story and postgame battles, and most importantly to me, the postgame hanging-out that they very suspiciously also won't show the original friend trio for that we were promised by the story almost a year ago as a happy ending, that we haven't actually gotten to participate in on-screen at all, outside of the Ace Academy Tournament (whose music is perfect for that happy victory lap feeling by the way).
I'm afraid now more than ever that all of my happy thoughts about how this generation and these precious characters should be wrapped up and what should be in The Indigo Disc aren't going to happen, and... it'll just go unceremoniously into the trash can with the other generations after a few more months of trailers probably making it clear that despite all the sappy memories with your original group and the girl who calls the player character her treasure and her rival for life, the game is about Carmine and Kieran now instead of them joining the group, and it will be remembered as the half assed cash grab game and not the one with a big heart and deep character writing hidden in it, if they care THIS aggressively, out-of-their-way little about the reason the game has heart. Not that I don't like these new newcomers too, but. There was a different way to go about this.
Pokemon Masters and Pokemon Special and stuff will try their best to compensate and do the characters justice, but they're just fanfic writers like us except with a budget. The anime writers are forced to make the story about other characters, as if Nemona, Arven, and Penny's stories were something shameful or inappropriate they need to paint over, and not the saving grace for what was otherwise an embarrassing corporate product with good people stuck working on it.
It would have been so easy to integrate the three of them into this DLC, and it would've made the next DLC better to have done so. Literally just replace some character models and rewrite some dialogue. The Paldea students don't have festival outfits anyway afaik. We're talking romhack-level difficulty of implementation here. Come the hell on.
Between the contents of this first part of the DLC and how they've been advertising it so far, I cannot make myself believe Nemona, Arven, and Penny will be in the rest of generation 9. I don't want to get hurt by my expectations. I feel like they've been purposefully excluded, like TPC thinks there's something wrong with them.
... Anyone else feeling this?

We All Love O'Nare of the Glitterati <3
Tumblr media
Listen, I know that she’s married to Boy Toy McGee, but she’s too perfect for an April Fool’s post for me to pass up, so let’s just assume that she’s not. Or maybe you’re just a side piece. Or he's the side piece. I never really decided.
______________________________________________________
Obviously, when you first see O’Nare, you fall head over heels for her, because who wouldn’t? She’s so wonderfully beautiful and charitable, it’s hard to resist her pull. And she, in tow, fell in love with you thanks to the positive energy radiating from your being.
Originally, she believed you to just be another commoner, a rare commodity for the likes of her, sparking intrigue. It wasn’t often that she got to interact with the common folk, leading to her seeking you out for your opinions about certain matters. She makes sure to pay you for your time, of course. She loves to spread charity to the commoners.
Once you both fall, it’s only a matter of time before she spills her true feelings for you. She never thought a commoner would be the one to catch her heart, but she wasn’t about to let such a catch slip through her fingers. Besides, getting with you would allow her to cherish you in lavish luxury, give you a life you deserved.
Being the President of Paldea Realty, she is often very busy, but loves to take trips with her dearest Billy in search of true beauty in the region, visiting both major landmarks for inspiration and remote areas to clear her mind. Bringing you along brings her great joy. She loves eating up your time, enjoying the positivity of Paldea’s landscape alongside your positive aura.
Alongside throwing you some cash when you join her, you will also receive incredible pearls of wisdom. She seeks to guide you through life, ensuring you walk down the path of beauty and positive energy rather than one that is dingy and dull.
Battles are the true path to her heart. Despite all of her… eccentric tendencies, O’Nare strive to understand more about the world and people around her. Even if they may seem dull and small in comparison to her wonderfully lavish life, she understands that beauty and positivity can be found in all things if you look deep enough. And what better way to learn more about the people around you than to battle them?
Although, while she loves to battle and to spread riches among the less fortunate, she does hate to see her darling Arbolivia and Persian get hurt. Alas, it is a small sacrifice that she must put up with, making sure to use the best medicine and plenty of PDA to make it up to them after the fact.
Along with those two, I assume she has at least three or four Meowths in her egregiously sized mansion, with personal attendants to ensure maximum happiness. She prefers the Kantonian variant, but also appreciates the Alolan form. The Galarian form, on the other hand… she believes they deserve just as much love as the others, but she is also aware of the destruction they can bring to the objects around them, along with how much they shed. Although, if you wanted one, she would be willing to make an exception. Love is a powerful thing, after all.
Speaking of her home, it’s, as expected as of a billionaire, fucking massive and also terribly furnished. I hate to say it, but O’Nare has rich person taste, meaning her home is full of weird ass furniture. Inconvenient chairs and uncanny statues and rooms dedicated to niche hobbies that no normal person would ever think would need a full room to complete are littered all over her home.
Originally, I was going to peg her down as a sugar mommy, but I don’t think that’s quite the case (I also kinda gave that roll to Geeta so that spot was taken). You aren’t a sugar baby in this relationship, you’re a trophy wife. She dresses you in the finest luxury brands and styles and brings you to all kinds of fancy smancy rich people events to show you off.
No price is too high for someone such as herself. Simply name anything you want and she will get it for you, no questions. O’Nare enjoys the feeling of spending money on someone she cares for, so don’t be shy to ask for anything that may cross your mind, big or small.
Of course, she will also shower you with gifts whenever she finds something you might like. She doesn’t care how expensive her gifts may be, so don’t even try to deny them because they seem too nice to just take without anything in return. Your love and devotion is a far greater gift to her than anything money could buy.
Also it took me reading through the Bulbepedia page to realize that their names (Billy and O’Nare) was a play on billionaire woops.

Another long head Canon about the narrators hi hi also tw murder torture mention
the narrators are the strongest species in paper robloxia, as they can manipulate reality to their will by either thinking, speaking, writing, etc, they can turn your ordinary life into a sitcom tv show and you wouldn't even realize it
Narrators are beings that aspect a certain element, power or object, like for example Aaron, who is actually the embodiment of nature itself hiding in a human body
Most narrators are cruel, it is quite rare to find a narrator who doesnt want to merk and torture others for its own entertainment
narrators can rebirth, whenever they are killed, they will eventually respawn in their pocket dimension
narrators usually see the other species (torchkins, gods, robloxians, etc) as toys they can play with or inferior pests
((sadly its skool time so i cant finish it takes these))
i like the idea that the narrrators are the ones actually writing the story instead of just reading it out

[A video is embedded. There's no visual, only audio.
You can hear Ren humming a little. "Chew-chew-chewing, oh chew-chew-chewing..."
Then, he stops, and mutters under his breath, "what the FUCK are they wearing?"
Then, a haughty woman's voice is heard. "Ooohohoho! Ooohohoho! Oh, the positive energy is positively flowing! I'd just love to buy up all this Kitakami air!"
Another man's voice is heard. "That's my dearest O'Nare! Even while out in the boonies, your ideas are still purely metropolitan!"
"...Oh, HELL no," Ren mutters, his country accent becoming a little more pronounced than usual.
"I do appreciate your willingness to speak the truth, Billy!" O'Nare responds.
"So, my dearest O'Nare! However shall we waste our time and our money today?"
"How, indeed..." she pauses, then gasps. "Billy, look—a commoner! They're glaring at us..."
"Eh? A commoner? Why yes, your eyes do not decieve you—that there is almost certainly a commoner!"
"I have a NAME, y'know!" Ren snarls.
"As I live and breathe—a commoner! A living, breathing commoner!"
"'Course I live and breathe! I'm a person, dipshits! Maybe y'all will see that when I kick your ass in a battle!"]

Medea Played Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, The DLC's (Part I)
Tumblr media
Previously on Shit-post Theater
This. That. Also This. That too.
Yeah, it's been a minute. I've been holding off on doing one of these since the first DLC that dropped back in December really didn't wow me as much as I thought it would. So I waited until the second one dropped. Only to learn that an epilogue was coming soon thereafter. That was awfully kind of them. Okay, sit back.
Tumblr media
Maybe throw away that sandwich you've been holding onto since November of 2022.
Tumblr media
At the start, Jacq-strap tells you about an opportunity to go on a school trip to Kitakami. A region that was just pulled out of thin air...
Tumblr media
And here we are!
You're in Kitakami with three randos from the academy, being chaperoned by Ms. Briar, who is an instructor at Blueberry Academy in Unova. And if that doesn't sound familiar to you, it will soon enough.
Tumblr media
Soon after, you are accosted and insulted by one of Blueberry Academy's finest asses, Carmine.
The little one behind Carmine is her little brother Kieran. Now that I finished that interruption. I gotta do something really important.
Tumblr media
There we go. I am complete. I can finally get a Clefable in these games.
Tumblr media
A girl and her Clefable. Is there anything more perfect in this world?
I suppose I should look around this small region.
Tumblr media
There's only one Pokemon Center. And it's an outdoor facility just like Paldea.
Tumblr media
Gender neutral bathrooms along with boy/girl ones? Uh-oh, don't tell the right-wing weirdos on X.
Tumblr media
More pokemon to catch as well. Even Jacq-strap gives you a special egg. I hope it's something...
Tumblr media
Sigh. Gible, use Draco Meteor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then we meet these two oddballs. O'Nare and...the other one. I don't remember the other one. Biff or Billy or Monty Q Moneybags. Shit, I don't care. They're part of the Pokemon version of the Illuminati. And you'll find them in weird places throughout Kitakami and Paldea. Even on the jagged tippy-tops of the Great Crater. Follow them enough times and O'Nare will battle you a couple of times and you can get a few goodies like nuggets, big nuggets, and a phone case.
There's also a rumor that these two are really Nemona's parents. There's no proof of that and as of this date of posting, we don't know Nemona's parents. I have theories that she's the product of Goku and one of the compulsive gamblers on Kakegurui.
Tumblr media
The point of this school trip is to go all over Kitakami and take selfies in front of certain landmarks. Each place tells you parts of a story involving a man, an ogre pokemon, and three "savior" pokemon. Through it all, you're with Kieran. That shy little cinnamon roll.
And then it's time for this mask festival. And you meet Kieran's grandpar...
Tumblr media
Huh.
I could be wrong, but did Jessie and James wear disguises like this long ago? Nope? Sorry, my imagination! Okay, moving on.
Tumblr media
At this festival, you can play this Ogre-busting game where you have to place mochis up before certain hungry pokemon eat em' up.
You can keep playing this game for a chance at winning a shiny Munchlax.
Tumblr media
During the festival, you and Carmine come across that ogre pokemon mentioned prior and a teal mask. Hence, the name of the first DLC.
From this point on, you're going to learn more about Ogerpon. How he's not a bad pokemon and that the tale is fabricated.
Tumblr media
And all of this is destroying the cinnamon roll. Kieran always loved the ogre from the stories and feels a little betrayed when you and Carmine hide the new revelations from him.
He is now a stale cinnamon roll.
Tumblr media
It's not long before the three "savior" pokemon from the story crash the DLC and run amok all over Kitakami. Eating everything, stealing Ogerpon's precious masks, and turning into titan-sized pokemon.
Tumblr media
So, let's get all of these masks back for Ogerpon and defeat those giant, toxic nightmares.
Ogerpon gets a happy ending where the villagers apologize for how it was treated by their ancestors.
Kieran will fight you again for Ogerpon, which ends something like this.
Tumblr media
Oh, get up off the floor you drama queen. Shinji Ikari has more dignity than you right now.
And then you fight Ogerpon in a battle.
Tumblr media
It's going to be tough since it has four masks, he's tera during the whole battle, and each mask changes his second type. But once defeated, you can catch it with 100% rate.
That's actually it. I was surprised when I finished it so fast. I was worried about taking too long playing it because I had a birthday trip around the same time of release. Speaking of...
Tumblr media
I still find this cute.
After the Teal Mask main story, there were a few things we could do.
Tumblr media
Like donating your hard-earned moolah to the caretaker in Kitakami. I know he ain't worth it like Honey in Sword/Shield, but...
Nah, I've got nothing.
Tumblr media
You can finish off your Kitakami pokedex. There should be 200 entries. And if you fill 150 entries, you can help Perrin.
Tumblr media
First of all, we were all wrong about who Adaman was ancestor to. I still want to believe that Adaman is somehow connected to Mikey from Tokyo Revengers. It's not possible, but I'd like to. Good on the creators for giving us Perrin in this game.
The game takes a small turn into Pokemon Snap! territory for a second as you have to take snapshots of pokemon in the wild.
And then you battle the special Hisuian pokemon.
Tumblr media
This little fella is different from Legends Arceus. This is known as the Bloodmoon Ursaluna. And no, you can't evolve your Ursarring in this game. After you finish this mini game, Perrin will reward you with Hisuian Growlithe.
Fast forward three months later when you get that call from Clavell and has an old friend of his who wants to meet you.
Tumblr media
Let's checkmark another gay couple to the Scarlet/Violet game I approve of.
Cyrano here is the director of Blueberry Academy and wants you to be an exchange student. Remember, this is the school that Kieran and Carmine go to and that Briar teaches at.
And that's it from me. Okay, go on and get out of here. Feed your Koraidon a sandwich.
Tumblr media
To be continued.

(Based on what I'm doing in-game)
--
"Where are ya? Yer 'round 'ere somewhere! I jus' saw ya! I swear it..!"
Chester sped across the landscape between Mesagoza and Grasswither muttering to himself. He was following two very wealthy humans who had left a breadcrumb trail for him. The Gholdengo stopped to catch his breath and check the map again on his own Rotom Phone. After marking a location, he dashed away again.
At Grasswither, Wo-Chien had began to tend to his allotment again. He looked over the newest patches of flowers that had began to grow, and checked on the pumpkins.
"Hm. I'm very glad that no-one has tried their hand at snacking on these. I wouldn't have liked trying to grow them again, now that it's close to Halloween." The snail looked in the direction of Mesagoza Academy, rubbing where his chin would be if he had one. "I...did say that I would share them with the home economics students too."
His train of thought was interrupted by two pompous-sounding voices coming from the other side of his allotment hedges. Wo looked over the closest one to him and his eye narrowed upon seeing two figures looking at his shrine.
They continued to talk to each other as the snail went in for a closer look.
"Not a thing worth seeing!" the wealthy woman stated, looking at her partner. "Not even this featureless hole! I can't imagine anyone living here, not even if it was given away for free!"
The man spoke a few seconds later. "What do you have in mind to improve this, my dearest O'Nare?"
O'Nare had a thought, then answered the question with a lot of enthusiasm. "Perhaps I could buy up this part of land and build a business here!"
"Striking!" The man reacted to her suggestion, clapping his hands. "Your words are as pickaxe to rock, loosing nuggets of wisdom from common stone!"
"Excuse me?"
O'Nare and her partner were suddenly made to look around and upwards.
"What do you think you are doing?" Wo-Chien had emerged from behind the nearby hedge and was giving them an unimpressed look. "I'm sorry, but you really shouldn't be talking about my shrine like that."
The wealthy woman brought out a pokeball as she continued to look up at the snail. Before she could get a word out, Wo held his fighting stick in both vines and pointed it at said pokeball.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." His voice was quiet and serious. "Your Pokemon would just end up suffering from both exhaustion and defeat...and it would be wise to not put them through such events."
O'Nare scoffed and put the pokeball away. Wo-Chien lifted the fighting stick and held it upright beside him in one vine. "Thank you." he said, feeling relieved that he didn't have to be involved in another battle that wasn't asked for first. "Now, if you have nothing more to say, I suggest that you leave and take your business plans elsewhere--"
The snail was interrupted by a distant shout.
"There y' are!" Chester descended from the clifftop on his golden surfboard, skidding to a halt before the two humans. "Been lookin' for you two for quite a while!"
Wo was confused, but continued to let Chester talk to the two humans.
"Oh. It's that Gholdengo." The man said, looking down at Chester. The woman took her turn to speak not long after. "You really like chasing us, don't you? At first it was at the furious waterfall, now it is at...this place..." She rubbed her chin as she looked at the shrine again. "...this...hole that could really use something else in it's pla--"
O'Nare was quickly cut off by Wo-Chien snarling under his breath.
Chester motioned to the irritated snail as he spoke to them. "Are you two gonna get movin' to 'nother place 'round 'ere, or are ya gonna 'ang 'round where yer quickly outlivin' yer welcomes?"
The two wealthy humans huffed, shoved some assorted treasures into the Gholdengo's arms, then walked away, their walk ending up turning into a sprint when they saw Wo-Chien's icy glare.
The snail calmed down when he saw the two humans get out of sight.
"Who were they?" Wo asked, scratching his head.
Chester answered as he carried the assorted sparkling items into the shrine.
"They're two wealfy 'umans 'oo call themselves the 'Glit'erati'. They've been goin' 'round 'ere and there callin' ev'ryone they come across 'commonahs', an' jus' bein' all snooty, so I decided to go 'around trackin' them down an' makin' them run off. I 'ad to fight them th' first time too." The Gholdengo showed Wo that he was holding an Amulet Coin. "Drainin' their bank account in the process."
Wo-Chien helped to put the treasures into a safe place within his shrine as they continued to talk. "Where did they come from? I...haven't seen anyone like that living here... Not even in Mesgoza, and there are some wealthy humans living there..."
"Kitakami." Chester was quick to answer. "Aftah th' first time I fought them, they were in the apple fields. After losin' most of their wealf, they ran off, an' I almost forgot 'bout them bein' 'ere, but then I got word from the 'umans and went to find 'em."
Wo perked up upon hearing where the wealthy humans were from as Chester continued to talk.
"They probably ran off back there after bein' told that they 'ad outlived their welcomes 'ere. Mos' likely dashed off t' Kitakami aftah talkin' 'bout 'ow much they missed the apples..."
"May I ask something of you?" The snail turned to face Chester. "B-before you go to Kitakami to continue chasing them..? It's...quite important..."
Chester looked up at him. "What's on yer mind, big guy?"
Wo hesitated before holding a tablet to him. "When you go to Kitakami...would you mind giving this to Ogerpon and Okidogi...if you see them? I did say that I would write to them, but I ended up being caught up in my duties in Mesagoza... ...I really hope that they forgive me..."
Chester held the tablet and nodded. "I'll do that. I 'aven't spent as much time wiff them as you 'ave, but I know 'ow much they mean to ya. You can count on me, big guy!"
Wo-Chien nodded, anxiously rubbing his vines together. "Thank you..." He nodded, showing a nervous look. "...I really do hope that they forgive me..."
Chester stepped forward and patted Wo's leaves. "Don't worry yer big leafy 'ead, big guy. I'll make sure this gets t' yer family! I'll be back soon, 'opefully wiff more assorted shiny fings to put in 'nother one of yer big crates! Sit tight, 'kay?"
He dashed away, playfully saluting at Wo-Chien. The snail, still anxious, waved back at him before calming himself as much as he could and returning to what he was doing in his allotment.
--
A day or so later...
Chester arrived in Kitakami. He took some time to visit the shop in Mossui Town to pick up some snacks before going towards the apple fields.
"Where are ya?" The Gholdengo asked himself, keeping quiet so they wouldn't notice him. Soon, he saw them standing amongst the apples trees. Chester went in for a closer look, as he also wanted to surprise them.
"What a wonderful little garden!" The wealthy woman began to say, her hands held together. The man spoke up not long after, looking at her as he did so.
"This may look like a small garden to you, but this is an entire orchard!"
"An orchard?" O'Nare asked, looking around at the trees. "Surely you must be joking! I've never seen one look so...humble!"
Chester could see that both humans and Pokemon surrounding them were looking quite unimpressed at what they were hearing. After overhearing them for a few minutes more, he decided to step in.
"I fought I told you to quit insultin' fings that mean lots to those under ya!" The Gholdengo stepped towards them, causing the wealthy duo to turn to face him. "Y' don't like learnin' from yer mistakes, do ya?"
O'Nare gave Chester a displeased look. "What do we have to do to keep you off our backs?" She asked, her voice sounding irritated and desperate.
"...quit talkin' trash 'bout so called 'commonahs' an' their stuff, per'aps?" Chester answered after pretending to think about what to say first.
"That's enough!" O'Nare snarled, bringing out a pokeball. "Let's battle, then! I, O'Nare, president of Paldea Realty, will crush you, pesky Gholdengo!"
Chester stood back and got into his battle position, coins held between his fingers. "Let's do this fing, then!"
O'Nare wasn't slow in letting out her Persian. It snarled upon landing on the grass in front of her. Chester looked at the furious cat, then at the human behind it. O'Nare issued the first command, sending the cat running and pouncing at him.
Chester managed to dodge the hissing Persian by dashing to the side on his surfboard. The cat turned to see him, back arching and fur standing on end. It lunged at him again, only to come short. Eventually, Chester decided to bring the battle to a quick end by waiting for the right time before unleashing his Make It Rain attack, making coins fly everywhere.
The Persian flopped onto the ground in front of O'Nare, swirls in its eyes as coins fell down all around. Chester collected the coins as the wealthy woman recalled her cat back into its pokeball. The Gholdengo saw that humans and Pokemon behind him were also picking up fallen coins.
"Oh, y' can keep those. I've got coins for days!" Chester reassured the crowd that had collected them, showing a pleased look as he watched them run off with their arms full of coins. He then turned to look at O'Nare.
"Now that that's ovah wiff..." He showed her the Amulet Coin he was wearing. "You 'ave some prize dosh t' dish out."
O'Nare sighed and handed Chester another armful of assorted treasures. Chester counted each one, almost looking like he was guessing the value of each. "Fanks." He said, looking at O'Nare again. "Now y' can skedaddle. Go on."
O'Nare held her partner's hand as they made their way out of the apple fields. Once they were out of sight, Chester turned to go the opposite way...and ended up seeing someone very familiar.
Ogerpon was starry-eyed as she looked at him, 'hands' squishing her cheeks. "U-uncle Chester!! You came here, and you got to fight the rich guys! That was awesome too!"
Chester looked at her, smiling. "Heh! 's nice t' see ya again, Ogie! Jus' let me put these away first, then I'll--"
"Come to the den, Uncle Chester! Papa Oki's gonna be happy to see you too!" Ogerpon jumped forward to grab Chester's arm, pulling him behind her as she begin to go towards Oni Mountain. "He got out of the doctor's a few days ago too! He's gonna be all better soon! We also really wanna see Papa Wo again too!"
Chester stopped her, getting her to let go of his arm after he tripped and dropped the treasures.
"'s nice to know that 'e's doin' well! Oh, 'ere, Ogie - yer Papa Wo-Chien told me t' give ya this!" Chester showed Ogerpon the tablet that Wo had given him before. "'e eventually got 'round to writin' to ya and Oki! 'e also 'opes that you an' 'im forgive 'im for not doin' that too... ...'e did get caught up in all 'is duties..."
Ogerpon read what was on the tablet at a quick pace, then ran forward and hugged the Gholdengo..
"Thank you, Uncle Chester! A-and tell Papa Wo that me and Papa Oki aren't mad at him, a-and that we reeeally miss him too!"
Chester nodded, returning the hug and waiting for her to let go. "I'll do that, and 'e'll be relieved to 'ear that too! Y' do know how anxious the big guy can get, so 'e'll appreciate it!"
Ogerpon waved at Chester as she began to run up the side of Oni Mountain after helping him to pick up the fallen treasures. "Okaaay! Seeyaaa!"
Chester watched Ogerpon until she disappeared from his sight before turning to head for the Kitakami border.
--
Soon, Chester returned to Paldea. He was quick to make his way to Grasswither.
"I'm back, big guy!" He shouted into the shrine upon reaching it.
Wo-Chien looked out from the doorway and down at the golden Pokemon standing outside it.
"Did you deliver the tablet?" He asked, still sounding a little nervous. "...a-and what did they say?"
Chester went into the shrine to put the treasures away as he answered.
"I found the rich 'umans again, fought them, again, and took ev'ryfing they 'ad, again. They ran off, an' I'll get back to findin' them later." He closed the treasure crate and turned to face the snail. "About the tablet - yes - I did! Ogie was there, watchin' the bat'le I 'ad wiff the rich lady. She was 'appy to see me, an' she said that Oki was doin' well too."
"Do...do they forgive me...for not writing to them when I should have...?" Wo-Chien rubbed his vines together in an anxious way.
"Oh yeah." Chester reassured him. "Ogie was quick to say that she and Oki weren't gonna be mad at ya. They also reeeally miss ya too."
Wo-Chien calmed himself down again. "I know they do, and I miss them too." He then raised a vine. "I do have an idea that would let me see them again, though. I...just have to hope that they can get here before it happens."
"Oh?" Chester began to ask. "What may that be, big guy?"
"You'll find out soon. Now, haven't you got some rich humans to continue chasing?"
Chester made his surfboard appear and dashed out of the shrine. "Oh yeah! Seeya 'round, Wo!"
The Gholdengo showed the snail another playful salute as he sped away.

I love the fact that the Billy and O'Nare are judgemental assholes but they draw the line at transphobia by immediately using they/them pronouns for you

Pokemon Teal Mask Spoiler Question Below.
Can someone explain to me why everyone is calling Billy and O'nare Nemona's parents? I mean they look nothing like her. I know adoption exists, but usually pokemon characters share features or like certain outfit contributions to indicate they're related. Is there some sort of dialogue piece? I know there was a leak of O'nare's trainer class being lady, but Nemona's mother is referred to as mistress...? What am I missing here?

i Got some questions for the werewolf au.
If volo is in the modern time is there a little Cynthia daughter of volo and cogita.
Do the werewolf in the au follow the same rules as other werewolf like full moon transformation and what happens when a human is attacked, bitten or scratch by a werewolf do they have werewolf side effects like gain a effects or 2 from the werewolf like hair growth, claws or sudden personality change or full werewolf transformation like in the movies.
I asking this because in the au Kieran takes a liking to Florian and be very clingy to him digging his claws into Florian's skin to Florian's likings and have to wrapped the scratch wounds. How would the teal mask story go without the Pokémon.
Is there a academy the twin players go to.
How would ms briar and her ancestor heath fit in the au both of them study the most important story plot in paldea, terapagos, tera crystal and area zero.
Nemona's family is rich and she have a who older sister taken over the family business and story for the au the older sister have a frame photo of her and her younger sister playing together when they are younger on her work table.
Even though Nemona's family is rich and snobby they still missed their Baby girl when she was lost during a camping trip in the forest, they set up a missing posters for her and pay high class trackers to find their nemona alive and would increase the prize money on her birthday and the day she disappeared, even though they are snobby rich on the outside they are sad on the inside missing nemona they would pay any amount of money to get there nemona back.
The family would go to the same place where nemona was first lost every year on her birthday where they leave a piece of her favourite birthday cake flavor and a birthday present as a offering if she passed away in the forest.
And the character Billy and o'nare in the teal mask dlc are heavily implied to be nemona'parents.
Any idea for perrin looking for the blood moon beast.
Is the trip to kitakami in the au still a field trip for the students to be looked after by ms briar.
Random thought. The fact that briar called jacq quite charming and like it when he be delightfully direct this sounds like briar has a liking to jacq and
what do you think of in the au briar having feeling for werewolf jacq.
Jacq the layed back cool fun teacher and briar a high class lady with manners with a serious lack of fun.
HOLY COW THIS IS A LOT! but thanks for your time typing this :D Sorry it took so long to answer, I needed time to sit down and look this over.
Like I mentioned before, Lycan's Plight (werewolf AU) does not take from the canon pokemon-verse, so pokemon and anything to do with time machine and the great crater does not exist in this world. Werewolves, in this world, do not infect other human if they are bit or scratch, but there has been experiments on a "what if" if human and werewolf DNA can combine (like with Arven, for example). Also, wolves can transform into their beast form at any point, without the aid of a full moon, but their strength does increase when there is one! -Easier to control their beast form.
The story with the twins (Juliana and Florian) and the sibling wolves (Carmine and Kieran) hasn't grown yet, just waiting for the second DLC to drop, but once I finish that, I could tackle their story in the AU.
I am actually in the camp of "Billy and O'Nare have nothing to do with Nemona and her family), so in the AU, they are not related either; although, I was thinking of an idea that one of them may have a werewolf fur coat... twisted, I know! Maybe they may know of the wild child and maybe know who her parents are. I do like the idea that her parents coming back to the place they last saw her in hopes she might return. Funny enough, something similar happen to Geeta when she was a pup; she was separated from her pack in a terrible snow storm and was alone until she found Rika.
Perrin will stay human and maybe wants to take photos of werewolves, maybe even finding proof that the wolves do live like humans did long ago, living in clans and having a culture; not all humans are bad.
As for Briar and Jacq, well, there has been cases of human and werewlves forming a "forbidden relationship", so maybe she might have a little bit of feels for the fuzzy Jacq lol

Granny knows what I came here for lmao
Kieran: "I'm beginning to think we got ghosted..."
I was amazed to see Bantu knots, bc that's the hairstyle Anima Girl from my Herald City superhero cartoon idea wears! (The undercut bob is also wonderful.)
I didn't expect Jacq sunglasses, heh!
Anyway, that's my tentative DLC outfit for right now, since my Switch is dying rn. I'm glad I followed Billy and O'Nare earlier in the night so I got a shit ton of money, heh.
I still winded up making a list of all the new things I have to buy, though. (Prob not gonna buy the greavard beanie tho, ew.)
Oh, and the pink Boater legit looked like the one in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! That was a total surprise, but I forgot to screenshot it, augh! (Oh well, Serebii will have an image of it eventually.)
