#i just read clone wars gambit: siege and damn#if anything could make me UNship obikin it was that!!#even though it is supposedly very gay i just. ugh#obiwan can be such a bonehead hypocrite#doing literally Everything he scolds anakin for & then denying it#and just idk. anakin is obviously the worlds largest brat but i genuinely found it hard not to feel sorry for him#every thing he said… especially early on when he mentioned tattooine#and obiwan was just like ugh cba with u going on about your miserable childhood#??!!!?!?!#and when he tried to lighten the mood obiwan would be like NO and then moments later do it himself#my guy you gotta stop pretending you’re alone in the galaxy when anakin is right there trying to care for you lol#and just the whole taria thing idk. allowing himself love and grief and closure#getting LOVE and CLOSURE while actively planning to take it away from anakin#via not seeing his mother. not getting to talk about home. preventing him from seeing padme.#idk i know anakin did 99% of the dirty work of falling himself. and palpatine nudged him along#but you kinda can’t blame him for being so secretive and suspicious that people are thinking ill of him#when his own former master is running around like this!!#god. what a bonehead
