OKAY OBJECTIFIED THEORY I BET SOMEONE HAS THOUGH OF/POSTED, BUT I HAVENT SEEN ANYTHING SO HERE

wagyu's parents whole thing and how they got rich was they killed objects and used them to sell. abusing the spawn terminals by just respawning them.

obviously our prime example is wagyu, for the fact he was respawned over 2000 times, but in the recent chapter, i feel like this was proven even more

(i believe the object is honey, sorry if im wrong, but thats what my friend told me, anyways) wagyu's mom is talking with honey like this. saying that she likes their cork and that she can tell them (the buyers) its artisanal, hand made.

and then goes on to kill them

pain killer obviously cooks and prepares our wagyu in the story. and this adds on to the idea they killed and respawned him for profit. wagyu is expensive, and having an infinite source of it will definitely get you a lot of money.

WHY I THINK DRAGONSCALE AND WAGYU WILL BE A SURVIVAL PAIR

soooo, demo day was good, I decided to check the archive to see what we got next, Dragonscale chapter as expected, BUT!! THIS MOTHERFUCKER IS HERE FOR SOME REASON

Now, why would this happen ?? Well for starters , judging by the name of the next chapter, I think Dragonscale feels SUPER guilty about cone getting assimilated (which it is, sorry Dragonscale lovers but that IS 100% her fault) and she left the other bandits, and for Wagyu, im pretty sure he’s just super lonely.

now… why do I think that they might team up?? Well, this is a stretch but, in Coldwave, the chapter where Wagyu appears at the end, as you can see, he isn’t on the archive icon

my team convinced me to share this theory in the public.

in general, what if we think of STARSHEET as a affliction that affects already existing basic emotions. in this case, it simply takes the brightest emotion and twists it to its maximum stage. for example, take the emotion chart from omori, where in the maximum stage, ANGRY became FURIOUS, HAPPY became MANIC, and SAD became MISERABLE. that is, each of the three variations of STARSHEET is the raising of emotions of anger, joy, and sadness to the maximum.

based on this theory, i tried to imagine what kind of variations each of the characters might have gotten if they already had STARSHEET. (i have no evidence that sanny's condition has anything to do with the STARSHEET, but a lot of evidence suggests that it does).

Quick theory about regarding these kind of eyes in Objectified

So, you know how certain characters have this "iris and pupil-less" look? Like the following:

Fish Tank, Jumper, Cherry, Billie, and Harry.

Now, Harry is important here because we likely know why he has this kind of eye: because of his father, Warhammer.

So I must ask: why does this have to only apply to Warhammer's descendants? After all, Grilldorah and Pluto (and the Lawless King of Marshlight Port if this theory is true) have these kind of eyes as well

So that's basically the theory: any character who has that "iris and pupil-less" eye is descended from a Lawless King. Lawless Kings passing down a special kind of eye is nothing new; if it can happen with Faux's descendants it can happen with the other kings.

objectified speculation

WARNING: objectified spoilers, body horror, gore, and mentions of death under the cut.

don't read this if you haven't finished objectified so far, or are sensitive to such things.

so, rereading objectified, I've noticed something off abt episode 7.

in this screenshot, wagyu's right sweat drop has these dots in it. none of the other main characters have this at this point in time. so, I read on, specifically to when egstrom happened, and the tidal wave had these dots as well. so, these dots are obviously parasite eggs, but it got me thinking.

why does wagyu have eggs in his sweat BEFORE he met palm tree?

well, looking at the screenshot from when wagyu recalls working, I can see that he sells himself to carrot, on his 2,000th respawn.

of course, later, carrot was respawned, and was assimilated. but, he was only assimilated some days after being respawned.

due to turtleshell's journal, and the fact another package of wagyu was found in carrot's fridge, I can assume carrot bought the pack shown in the previous image, and the other one in preparation for the party that killed him of alcohol poisoning much later than when that screenshot took place. knowing his personality, he probably ate and shared this pack while hosting a separate party, and never got by eating the second one.

but, why didn't he get to eat it? knowing the infection's origin, high society (which is conveniently where wagyu lived), I think it's safe to assume it was something there which caused it.

as well, even after the assimilation took a toll on wagyu, he's still shown to have more humanity, or control, than other assimilated objects (as shown is his ability to contract and show his insectoid-ness at will).

as well, it took the first generation of assimilated objects months to transform. so, seeing how the terminals spawned the parasites, and knowing how wagyu's job went (kill, respawn, repeat), and how his arm went numb after his 2,000th respawn (which is CONVENIENTLY the day carrot bought him), and the way his control is demonstrated, I think it can be safe to assume wagyu is the main carrier of this parasite.

uhh of this makes you cry then,,, uhh YAY! /silly why i think BRANDY will be the first to die

obviously atleast one will die, especially with the dead affliction and just about the overall theme of objectified the family is the only one with 3, they had the most for pretty much all of the series until recently with razor and gum with fuzzball and sharps joining in. But all the other ones are either just one person, or an even number. Which ive always deemed weird.

So brandy himself has shown to be a pretty rusty guy, a lot more hefty than the other characters. He has obvious scars from the past, and in this apocalyptic world, that is not helping him. And with him getting beaten up well by citrus and spool, and other various things that happen in the story, he definitely isnt the same as before. Especially with all the mental weight of minty and sugar (along side maple, not even knowing what she could be doing in silent neverland [which extra side tangent, snl is literally a cold wasteland, what work does she have over there??]) he definitely has a lot on him. Hes also about 45 (i believe, going off what my friend said that apparently chester said) although not too entirely old, it must be a lot to be this old in this world.

Recently, we have also seen signs of delirium in brandy. From what we have been able to tell from razor, when someone goes full delirium, it takes a LOT of strength and energy to do so. Razor was TIRED out after TWO episodes of being in that state.

Now on a story state of mind, this would provide a lot of angst 😈😈 which is always great for the writer, not so much for the reader (trust me, i have my fair share). This would let brandy and minty have a heart to heart or a fight, which ever, at his last moment. a fight would make a lot of sense for the characters, and a lot more devastating. Maybe it turns into a heart to heart later, fighting about minty cheating, but then later going into minty revealing why he did it. Then they kinda realize brandys on the verge of death (maybe brandy starts the fight so he can find out why he cheated before he dies). for some more emotional strength onto that, minty probably says smth like "No!! i can respawn you back!! I promise!! Dont leave me!!" yada yada....and with sugar cube watching or smth idk.

Let's talk about this for a bit second, tw. Doi

The main things that make me scared is permeant death and assisted suicide, not just death PERMANENT DEATH the only way thus far that we know of an object can never be respawned is through soul-consumption unless there's other ways, bats my eyes at chesterfern art blog(I'm really curious).

Now for the uhhh suicide stuff, we've already seen that with wagyu in second thoughts when he was thinking of jumping, but assisted suicide implies someone helps them do it, the term though is often associated with the medical field according to haters worst enemies the dictionary, make of that what you will, it make most sense with either wagyu or spool, wagyu who's already been seen almost doing it, I think he'd have an moment of clear consciousness with out the parasite influencing, and deciding he'd rather go out his own way than let himself become fully assimilated, but hey thats just a theory a game theory.

Special mentions, Sexual humor? I don't think thats really the right word but there's not really a specific word for objectified cause it's just romantic orientation, I dunno man tw. citrus is gonna enter his cyanosis form and not care

spool is gonna be really cold like the others in the previous episodes

spool might get attacked by the pillow bird and get another design change like after venatics

citrus MIGHT get feelings for spool or vice versa

citrus is gonna see the same crow (like in hungry halls + ornithophobia) and get scared like always
