sorry no ocs recently i've been in the trenches[internet related reason] but i made the mistake of mentally putting arvic and cherise next to each other yesterday because "haha. corvid motif" do you want to hear? do you like slutty washed-up unaware dilves and/or futch failure lesbians? yes you do. you're going to hear

cherise is like the kind of unfortunate bystander arvic would slide up to in the middle of a bar with like three shots in him meanwhile she's barely drank for personal reasons.

he's not even interested in her this time but he's doing it just to show off to sable and clover he's like if grunkle stan's sin was Lust like "Now you kids want to see a magic trick?"- neither of them are minors and don't really want to but he starts anyway before they get an answer out, smth smth "Watch and learn! I'll show you how to reel one in without fail!" he really hasn't had any charm in him since priscille but he's trying so hard to make his left and right hands proud ok? be patient he's trying his best. he'd start hitting on cherise in some really stupid way and she's visibly kind of Out of it until she realizes what's going on- "Huh? Uh- No! No, sorry man, I.." she'd have an absolutely dumb way to get it across like "Just. Other women for me, thanks!" her face is really stupid now ok. i can't transmit the mental image but you Have to understand her face is Really Stupid right now.

arvic is immediately taken back and stumbles over his excellent charms but don't worry because "Oh-hoh-hoh! Well lucky you! I've still got a special Trick-" he'd pull a card from somewhere as he says Trick ok this is a very important detail "-up my sleeve for people like you!" it did not come from his Sleeve and no he does not. he's pulling this all out of nowhere on the spot so he still looks competent.

he's rambling about some nonsense about how he respects all women and always comes prepared as he prepares a shitty card trick right in front of her and you can visibly determine that cherise would kind of rather not be there but at this point who wouldn't humour the weird guy with eight-ball eye and the body feathers instead of hair. multiple bystanders are looking and if phones were allowed in this hypothetical bar maybe someone would have a recording going.

when he asks where she thinks her card is she can immediately pinpoint it's real location to his dismay, she's listened to nanako passionately explain how all of this works before but arvic just Can't let himself fumble this so he laughs it off, calls her a sly fox and resolves to just go through every trick he knows until she falls for one. which she does, eventually. as chatty as she and nanako get sometimes their method of communication is trading the metaphorical talking stick and rambling about personal interests the other one forgets about one fourth of because they got distracted, so it was inevitable she'd have missed one.

arvic would celebrate with an I Told You So type of attitude as he Not Discreetly At All wipes the sweat that had accumulated on his face from this encounter. i think it's at this point where cherise gives into the snarky giggles with some type of "Wooww, you sure showed Me a good tiimee. I can only Wonder what else such a Rising Star like you has to offer." the demeanor and slow clapping is only half sarcastic, this guy is hilarious to her in the 'she's pretty sure she could break his back over her knee in the side alley if she tried hard enough' way but before he can make the mistake of letting rip a "Oh yeah? Well there's plenty more where that came from missy!" he's dragged back to his table by the accompanying sidekicks.

i'm not about to go reblog that name post again for the third time but there was a slow, gradual process with urena's name too. which is currently pronounced like the mispronunciation of planet uranus but it's literal gibberish so you can say it however

it was either ivuria or iruvia at first but then i googled that and found something called that so i had to banish her to nameless purgatory for a while, separately i had been fighting with the name irene for years in that it always had a glow to me but i never Kept a character that fit it, i remember when k drew a bunch of silly little abstract creatures that one time i made a triangular fellow and said "her name is irene, she's rather polite" but that was the last time a character was definitively irene and even then irene was a microsoft paint drawing born from boredom. eventually i said urene in reference to urena and next time i looked at her it ended in an a

i think this is really funny because although i never bothered to search the meaning and still won't i've always considered the name irene to be very elegant and refined, it has a sort of formal mystique to it that's made it always one of my favourites. so it's like i'm going "women named irene are so perplexing and radiant" and urena is like the "Not me, I'm a fucking Cunt!!" screenshot. can you tell there was another thunderstorm tonight? her name is probably just irene in a hypothetical normal human being au, she's not very polite. the lights flickered a few times earlier for good luck, i think the forces of nature are on my side

the original concept of "alice" and "felix" goes back tooo, what, 2020? they always looked kind of similar in my mind and i knew they were Connected in some way but i didn't figure out a proper duality for them until 2022, one of them was a human and the other was a copy, the human had characteristics that would indicate Her as "fake" and the "fake" characteristics that would indicate her as Human. at some point i decided on the name Shaya over Alice for felix's copy and discarded the other name but these days it's incorporated again

shaya had been raised as "alice" and believed herself to Be alice until a series of very unfortunate events which drives her to believe she has no identity beyond Weapon, she holds onto life regardless hoping she'll run into "the real alice" one day. nameless and ecstatic she's found by felix one day and doesn't initally know how to recognize her other than "alice"

this is mallory coded but actually he would really Hate anyone who smokes or has a similar habit seen as Casual on the surface which is actually microdosing harm. he has enough spite for able people as is, so the thought of anyone else just willingly putting themselves through unnecessary harm instead of using what they already have to actually help someone who Deserves it drives him more insane than selfishness, on an unrelated note i think he'd place gluttony at the bottom of hell. so the image would be something more like "missing person presumed dead found purchasing painkillers at former workplace"

unethical experiment i like to call the roadtrip method where i deploy a mentally manageable number of ocs over a stock photo of a room in my brain and force them to commentate over whatever i observe

deployed specimens #101-🌟 and #102-🎃 and went for a short walk. results:

because i have to swap my internal processing of things with dialogue, they're forced to have all of the wordly knowledge i do which leads to really ridiculous things like "rinne is the kind of person to start a joe biden impression and immediately get distracted from the bit to ask what kind of dog is behind that fence over there and forget she was about to make a joke to begin with"

characters inheriting traits and feelings is pretty normal but i think rinne more or less embodies the entirety of [📕💫🌐] conceptually and the development behind it now, she more or less inherits the reality itself in the lore and i like to think if she were a conscious human being they'd be her ocs instead at this point. she's #101-🌟 for a reason i guess. godspeed you little stargazer, keep your head up there

new thunderstorm just dropped. got a wave of cryptic oc visions and discovered a whole new goddamn guy i never conceptualized previously but before i can decide whether to let them live or die i have to figure what's wrong with Specimen #106-♟️ and all of the new details i just learned about him

this proves that i seem to get Cursed when left with nothing to do in the midst of stormy weather and get a new vision with every strike of lightning

fucked up in my palace putting ocs from completely different origin next to each other. "hm, all of these places have a Red pov character that's labeled #X01-◻️ in The Document. i guess red is like The Protagonist color" makes sense. that Made Sense then i looked at the two relevant Green Characters and identified a theme of vague, almost Nobility? both felix and marina are growing a weird, subverted "princess" motif and it's got me on my knees horrified as i watch from the other side of the room. Yeah Yeah, Purple characters seem to have ties to Destruction in some form but that's not all too odd why does Green have a Very Specific connotation that isn't clear on either character it's appearing on. i'm scared

Urena still being a Thing a Creature but being able to shed this form to turn it into a beautiful [accessory of your liking], and Mallory being a young and dumb sailor. The romance is optional but it goes how you think it goes:

-Urena encounters Mallory, and they get to know each other

-Mallory goes to a bar and hears rumors about Urena being a creature (in this universe, selling that creature’s coat can get you MAD BANK), and whether through his own greed or to prove them wrong, decides to find the accessory

-Finds it hidden in an underwater cave that is only visible during a low tide under a full moon. “Oh fuck I didn’t think I’d find this”

-Urena finds him “You… I thought I could trust you.”

-Urena, in her strange state of panic, offers a wish for whatever he wants in exchange for the accessory

The ending for this tale splits into two paths depending on what you Like, but it’s on very opposite sides of the spectrum. happy vs sad

In the happy ending, Mallory somehow Has Rizz(tm) and manages to basically wish for Urena’s hand and marriage, and it kind of works. She gets to keep the accessory, and he gets bitches I guess?? This ending can still apply even if it was the Greedy Mallory. Whether they’re happy or not is an ongoing debate

In the sad ending, Mallory is too fascinated by the thought of “I can have anything for a wish?” and begins to ramble on/overthink about what he wants. While he’s distracted, the Creature basically takes the chance and drowns him in the water in the cave. Accessory gotten but also “damn the surface guy I made friends with was a jerk. I ain’t never coming back here bro” and swims into the ocean never to be seen again

unless this is specifically a hypothetical proposal about an au of the modern adaptations of them which i think about, you use the names given to the current two and this made me think of A Mallory Detail but i fear if i just start yapping it's going to come off as "he would not fucking say that" which, no, the concept of the unspecified man in the fabricated myth they're from would say anything ever. it just makes a detour of this come to mind in the scenario that this is akin to an au oneshot prompt

i tripped over my thoughts a few days ago and when i woke up the lore of the first one had gotten a whole new font which clicks several things that weren't there before into place

yesterday in my downtime i made playlists for the two pov characters in the third one and suddenly i understand the entirety of the red one's character arc and the purple one's gauntlet of horrors is gradually revealing itself to me with a new coat of paint
