TSME WEEK 2024 - DAY 1

Prompt: Catching Pokemon

“What is that thing? I thought it was a tiny turtle pokemon…”

“Mairin, that’s no tiny turtle pokemon…” Steven breathed out, looking up at how it transformed, with crystals surrounding it and a crown atop its head. The air felt much colder, and more menacing. 

“...That’s Terapagos.”

TSME WEEK 2024 - DAY 3

Prompt: Mission

"I call this one... Operation... Mask er, Raid! Yeah!" Perla suggested a name.

"That... is the dumbest name I've ever heard." Alain responded.

"By the way, how did you get the name in the first place?" On the other hand, Steven was curious.

"Oh, I got inspired by Clemont's inventions."

"No wonder..." Alain rolled his eyes.

Mairin rushed to their corner, the green dress trailing off. "There's officials coming our way!"

"Its fine, I'm a champion-" The Hoenn Champion proceeds to be dragged off into a corner, leaving the other girl behind to deal with it.

"Well... Operation Mask er Raid is a go."

They were supposed to be hanging out with a few friends from the Hoenn region. If it was just a meetup, how did it escalate to a whole fire outside?

TSME WEEK - DAY 6

Prompt: Love

It's the whole 'one fell first, the other fell harder', and I'm the latter option.

Perla... she wasn't supposed to be here. She wasn't even supposed to come into my journey. It was a dumb, dumb random encounter that I couldn't forget. She's so stubborn. She kept following me around like an Arceus forbid lost pokemon. And she's just as quiet as a Dedenne.

And yet... she stayed. With Mairin, and Steven, witnessed the fall of Lumiose, and... even saved me.

But now... we're here. She's smiling. Why do I want to smile too?

I still kept it simple with the dress and jacket but changed up the details itself.

(Ribbon collar is smaller, showing that its a sleeveless dress, with a fairy type pattern and pink lace edges. The pink jacket now has Audino ear shaped sleeves, which then go down to puff sleeves. Buttons are now black, the bows are smaller and on the cuffs.)

The whole thing is just "perla meets the tsme gang (+ kalos gang) and chaos ensues."

I'm still writing the actual timeline, but its getting there.

There's not many changes to the canon, only that there's a few more Perla moments sprinkled here and there.

Some of the lore moments include: (i forgot episode names so have poor descriptions of it)

-first actual alain appearance

Perla only watches on the sidelines, no introduction. She may be an important character but she doesn't want the spotlight. Also implies that this girl knows Alain, maybe as a training buddy or companion.

-Laverre City, the one with the modeling

She is there again, but now running around and like... following orders from the other Furisode girls for the fashion show, with her and Audino carrying boxes of clothes / accessories.

-that one party / ballroom episode

Some random guy: "Ma'am, you're supposed to be wearing a dress for the ocassion."

Perla, already in a suit: "Wait, I am?"

The only way I can describe this. She gets a pass.

-Tournament part 1, bumps into the kalos gang, forced to introduce herself.

It also shows her battling someone, and capable of Mega Evolution. But she's not as strong, so she loses the round.

-Mairin episode

Establishes that these two have met before (Perla acts like a sister figure for Mairin) Also shows a bit more of her personality, that she often comforts people in need.

-the angst episode(s)

It does not end well for her. Remember those dark vines? Something happened with her involved.

content warning -> (It's injury. She got hit pretty hard. Even more fuel to make Alain more conflicted. And Mairin too. Because she lost Chespie to the Giant Rock / Megalith and now she sees Perla, her sister figure, injured.)

-post incident

Surprises everyone she is not dead. And by surprise I mean, walk in while everyone was having the celebration. Ash and the gang are shocked, but TSME duo are more shocked, cause the two were sure they just witnessed a death. So group hug, sobbing, wholesome scenario.

Perla's whole arc:

- Identity.

They are a blank slate, they don't know what to do, they're stuck in this cycle of following people and living like that. Even in battles, she mirrors Alain's battling style (not literally, with the punching and all)

Perla went from being quiet, doing what she's told. But later on, she does her own thing. Like crossdress for one time, willingly join the tournament, show more of her true colors.

Even risk her life to save people. She found that she wants to help everyone. When the world is crumbling down, that's when she acts. Perla does her own thing, that changes their view of her.

Basically she's my Anipoke / pokeani / pokemon anime oc. (Specifically XY series because the brainrot. is happening. frequently.)

-pronouns are she/they.

-she's from Laverre City, Kalos. Formerly worked as a gym trainer / furisode girl there.

-she uses Audino as her ace Pokemon (yes it can also Mega Evolve.)

-She doesn't really have a goal, not really wanting to be the strongest. More of a moral support person, but she does have an interest in sewing.

Still working on her story & how she fits in with everything going on in Kalos. (OC x Canon? Idk, looking at my notes rn... its uh. More canon than OC. <- is that ok with yall?)

Ok so with Perla's relation with Alain... they're friends. (its oc x canon. . . um. You can play it as queerplatonic or "yes, they're in love. the other two tsme members know about this." I don't even have a ship name for this.)

Perla had met Lysandre while she followed Alain around, but she didn't know that he did the whole world end thing until Alain and Mairin told her.

Speaking of Mairin having siblings, I headcanon that Aria (the one who did the showcase thing and inspired Serena) is her older sister.

And then Mairin, being the younger sibling, decided to run away and start her own journey. (which leads to... chespie and the rest of the team flare mess.)
