As much as he tried, all he could do was huff in anger. He doesn't understand why he took the idea he had, but he knocks on the door to Emmett's room.

Due to the curse Malleus cast that has enveloped all of Sage’s Island, everyone is sleeping.

Emil Mays - Emil is living with his family. His parents still aren't around, but he is happy. His life isn't that different than the normal world. It is just the same, but he met Rayan at an earlier time.

Jiao-Long Feng - Jiao-Long's ideal dream world shows that he has a younger sibling just like he had dreamed of. His family is happy, and they are well off. He spends a lot of time with his family and helps around the neighborhood.

Rayan al-Mena - Rayan's ideal world is pretty much the same as the life he has in the normal world. However, he has more friends than he had before. Emil is someone he knew way sooner, and they both spend a lot of time together.

Sébastien Cadieux - Sébastien's family business is rich. The flowers they sell are bought by people all around the area. He never went to RSA and goes straight to NRC as his first magic school. He has plenty of friends and is popular at school.

Shen Liu - Shen is living a life back home. He is helping with his family's business. Most of his time is spent assisting his parents. However, that means that he never went to NRC. Yet he still has become friends with some of the students there somehow.

Elise Page - Contrary to normal, he is accepting of his name. Elise is happy with the life he has at home. He does not have to keep his magic hidden from his family anymore, and he is free to use it. His family is accepting of all of it.

Xīnyí Tián - People would think that Xīnyí's ideal world is one where he never left home, but that is not the case. His ideal dream world has him surrounded by family. They are accepting of his dreams, and he is not forced to follow any strict rules. He also never had the accident that cost him his leg. Things have never gone wrong.

Hubert Toussaint - Hubert never had the pressure to be perfect in the ideal dream world, but he still strives for the best. He never had to lie about his Unique Magic to his parents, and they support him however they can. Here, they contact him frequently to make sure he is alright.

Ooh!~ Well for this one, I will be mentioning some OCs that belong to my dear friend @twstwhisper

Crushes:

Sebastien Cadieux has a crush on Nalani Kalani. If those feelings are requited, it is hard to tell. He also likes Sonne Clemens.

Aster Nightshade has a crush on Nyneve Brennan. While he is not good at showing his feelings, it is likely his feelings are understood. The two of them get along well.

Longwei Jiang has a crush on Roche Laverne. Longwei isn't really good at expressing his feelings but he is trying.

Relationships:

Jian-Yu Song is dating Ziwei Lin. These two are very obvious with their affections through words and gifts. And it is a pain for others to deal with. Anyone in Heartslabyul cannot escape it since these two are in that dorm together. So yes. Feelings are definitely requited.

Some could say that Xue Long Yang and Jiawen Zhang are dating, but it is hard to tell. They seem like they could be just friends, but who really knows? Xue Long doesn't really seem like the kind of person to show much affection, but he shows he cares for Jiawen through little gifts.

lightning: who’s the most impulsive character? and who is their impulse control?

The most impulsive is Sebastien Cadieux. He tends to make impulsive decisions because he thinks he will end up regretting it later. Despite being in Pomefiore, he will impulsively buy sweets from the store even though he knows Vil will take them away. Vil won't know if he stuffs his mouth with them before returning to the dorm right?

Hubert Toussaint acts like his impulse control. Older fella looking out for his underclassman.

Let's go with...

Caius Luna would love to learn how to cook. But... he is too lazy to actually try and put the effort into doing so.

Sebastien Cadieux wants to learn how to play a violin, but he is already taking lessons to play the harp. As a result, he doesn't have the time to.

Alchemy mishaps lets go

Ester turned himself into a bird.

During a collaboration between class 3-C and 3-D, Caius turned himself into a puppy. He also turned Xue Long into a tiny dragon. Caius does not remember anything about being a puppy, but he was an energetic little puppy that ran around the whole school. Xue Long definitely remembers what happened.

Sebastien accidentally turned Aaron into a cat. Aaron had been walking in to deliver some papers to Crewel, but ended up becoming an unsuspecting victim. He trapped Sebastien in a closet for that.

Jian-Yu accidentally made a hair growth potion and became Rapunzel for a day.

Hubert turned himself invisible. People only saw floating clothes.

Emil accidentally created a body swap potion and swapped bodies with Xinyi. Xinyi hated it.

Nalani put all of class 1-D to sleep.

Aster turned himself back into his childhood merform.

Elise turned Matthew into a flamingo. Matthew did not mind that for some reason.

Haoyu accidentally shrank Shen and Shi Yin. But Shen had turned Haoyu into a mouse at the same time. Shi Yin's potion gave himself pink hair.

Jiao-Long turned himself into a hamster.

Kunming changed his hair to bright blue for a day.

Li Feng changed his eye color to red for a day.

Longwei lost his hearing for an hour.

Peri turned all of class 2-A into plants.

Rayan temporarily made himself weightless.

Theodore turned himself into an elephant.

Xiaoshi's potion made himself into a tiger cub.

YunLong's potion turned him into a kid again.

Zixuan's potion turned himself into a girl.

Varian lost his sense of taste for a day.

Xavi lost his eyesight for a day.

Chapter 5, what are your Pomefiore kids up to?

Pomefiore kids time.

Since Sebastien Cadieux realized that Vil was going to be gone for some time, he went straight to the store to buy some sweets. It wouldn't hurt to stock up on a little will the dorm leader was gone right? Sebastien also spent some time going out late to spend time with his friends. Of course he cheered the loudest after the VDC performance.

Shen Liu just continues as he normally would do. He would just attend classes as usual. When the VDC group would come to the dorms for practice, he brought water into the practice room for them. Sometimes he would sit and watch while the practiced.

Elise Page just attended classes as normal. He hadn't made it through tryouts, but that didn't bother him. He would just strive harder to be part of the team the next time VDC rolled around. He made sure to do all his class assignments on time. He was there to watch the performance when it happened of course.

Xinyi Tian just minded his own business. While he was worried about how things would be without Vil, Rook, and Epel around, he decided he needed to do what he could to keep the dorm neat in their absence. All he did was make sure everyone did what they needed to do in order to keep everything in order. When the performance came around, he watched from the crowd.

Hubert Toussaint had tried out to be part of the performance team, but he had not made it much to his disappointment. As much as he wanted to participate, he was going to have to take a back seat. He spent most of his time going to classes and doing school work. Whenever he could, he would sneak a peek at practice if he was able to.

Pomefiore and Ignihyde edition

Sebastien is a proud person. He does not like having people look down on him. While he values honesty, he does not think it is wrong for him to lie to Vil about eating sweets. After all, it should be his choice on what he can do. Eating sweets is the best thing he can do to deal with his problems.

Shen is a shy person. He tends to keep to himself. He longs to have friends that would stick by his side, so he is excited when someone approaches him to talk. He enjoys talking to other people about different things if he is able to. However, he is afraid of disappointing them. When he is dealing with a problem, he tends to just go to sleep.

Elise is straightforward and tends to get to the point. However, he tends to be on guard. He is afraid of the things people will do because he cannot predict their actions. He does not like being surprised by things. As a coping mechanism, he writes in a diary.

Xinyi tends to watch his back a lot. He fears facing judgment from other people because of his prosthetic leg. As such, he tends to avoid speaking to people. He does not want to be judged, so he immerses himself in his studies. When he is dealing with problems, he reads books.

Hubert is a prideful person and thinks highly of himself. However, he will act politely towards other people. Unfortunately, he tends to unintentionally insults people. While he values honesty, he does not want to if it will hurt other people. When he has to deal with a problem, he goes for long walks.

Li Feng is quiet and afraid of speaking to other people. He tends to be detached to other people. While he doesn't talk much, he is a good listener. He is willing to listen to other people talk, but he will not offer advice so readily. To cope, he plays video games.

Caius tends to be lazy and not do much. He does not like having to put an effort into doing things because "someone else will do it", so why should he? To him, talking to other people is a hassle. Caius hates having to talk to people, but he will do it if he has to. Dealing with problems would be done by playing computer games.

Xavi tends to be afraid of people. He is quick to apologize to other people if they get angry at him for something. While he wants to make friends, he goes through many scenarios in his head about how people could hate him if he messes up. Xavi tends to have major anxiety issues. When he is dealing with a problem, he plays games.

Varian feels like he has a responsibility to set a good example for other people. As a result, he tends to try and watch over his siblings. He also tends to watch over people younger than him because he worries that something bad could happen to them. For him, the best way to cope is to read a book while sitting outside somewhere.

However, this has led to Sébastien having trouble with making friends outside of his family. Kids in the town saw him as a strange individual and would tease him to test whether or not he was actually deaf. This often made him get into fights with other kids, so his family would have to go fix his problems.

After listening to some suggestions, Sébastien was sent to a magic school to be around people more. His parents had hoped this would help him get used to talking to people with differing opinions. Unfortunately, it never stopped him from getting into more fights and consequently expelled from the school. His parents didn’t give up hope on him and sent out a request for him to be enrolled in Night Raven College. Luckily, it was accepted.

Skills and Abilities

Quick Thinking: Sébastien is quick to come up with plans that help him get out of sticky situations. However, he has trouble factoring in other people because he cannot predict what they may or may not do.

Good Listener: Due to his Unique Magic, he is able to listen in on conversations that may pertain to a current situation.

The downside to his Unique Magic is that he tends to yell when it isn’t active. This has made it so that he is good at projecting his voice.

Quick on his feet: He is quick on his feet which has helped him to get away from dangerous situations.

Flexibility: He is incredibly flexible which has helped him to fit into tight spaces others normally wouldn’t be able to fit into.

Magical Skill: He is skilled in magic, particularly Fire magic. He has good control over his magic, but he is unable to minimize damage done to his surroundings.

Unique Magic:

Sébastien’s Unique Magic is called I Hear You. It gives him the ability to hear anything up to 5 miles away. It can be turned off, but then he will only be able to hear up to 5 feet away. As a result, he has a tendency to yell.

Trivia:

Sébastien was born with deafness so he has a pair of hearing aids.

But sometimes he forgets to bring them to class with him.

He dislikes surprise parties.

Nasir al-Reza

"I wish for my family's business to thrive."

Reason: Nasir wants nothing more than for his family's business to thrive. He dislikes that they are not as successful as some of the other families in the Scalding Sands, and he wants them to have the best business around.

"My wish is for the garden to be prettier."

Reason: Peri loves plants, so he wants to see the garden grow and thrive. He would prefer for it to have more pretty flowers, but he wouldn't complain if it doesn't. He has hopes that more people will appreciate the garden if it looks nicer.

Rayan al-Mena

"I wish for everyone to have a great year."

Reason: Rayan dislikes that some of his future predictions can come across as terrible to other people, so he wants that to change. He hopes that the future of other people will be bright instead of looking down.

"My wish is for people to yell less."

Reason: Sébastien dislikes how loud people can be. He would prefer it if things were more quiet around the school, but it does not help that he is loud himself. When he yells, other people tend to yell. It just becomes an endless cycle, so he wants to change that.

Reason: Shen does not have an easy time making friends with people due to his Unique Magic and his tendency to talk to spirits others cannot see. He wants to be able to have a normal conversation with someone and be their friends.
