bad quality and also rushed but its 2:30 in the morning cut me some slack. this is phoenix and they use they/he pronouns.. their design is still very much in the early stages so things are subject 2 change. anyway. i love him.

Firebird the night fury.

This female night fury has a unique plasma blast that is a hot red instead of purple. Also knows as the ‘Red Skeleton’, her usually grey markings can glow a brilliant red, causing her to look much like her namesake soaring through the sky. No viking has ever  been able to tame this elusive and aggressive dragon, but perhaps someday.

Sparrows was open to the concept a little (strangely not all that surprised by it, they first grew very close as friends before all of this), but first she demanded that if they are to be closer than friends and work partners, they Have to treat each other as equals. she was already pretty nonchalant while interacting with him beforehand so she had that checked off already, but he still had some things to figure out. of course, she helped him learn when he needed it

This week I have some art WIPs and some additions to the OC lore from last time.

ART

I tried to flesh out my SovOil Secret Police Agent (this is the third attempt *cry*) It´s not much difference between all WIPs but I feel comfy with that one. It´s still a lot of work (bc I love/hate details). And it will be a pain in the A to make him "real" once I get my PC. But I really want to take some pics with him and Aon. Some...angsty pics.

And he has a name now as you can see. Worked on his lore aswell, but it´s not incredible dense, since his role in my fic and the diary project I want to do is really focused on his present actions, rather than his past.

Vlad worked for the KGB before turning into the private sector to work for a corporation. He has a reputation for being a really cold-hearted person, precise, unyielding and always reliable. He is an incredibly good profiler and can read most people like an open book. I can imagine that he has also acquired a certain status in society as a "bogeyman". A man people tell their children scary stories about and threaten that he will come for them if they don't behave. I also gave him the nickname "Firebird" (simply because I like silly nicknames and they always add something "mythical" to a character). The reason why he is so heavily chromed is that he has been declared dead three times in the course of his life due to possible incidents, but he has always been brought back to life. His former colleagues eventually gave him this nickname because he always rises from the ashes like a phoenix. He himself always claims that he finds the name incredibly cringy, but he's a huge peacock, so it's all just false modesty and he loves to be feared and revered at the same time.

And I started a little thing with @blackrevell ´s beautiful Birdie Alt.

Really like this form of portrait. Like the actual character and some fitting details around. Would like to do a little series like this with other OCs in the future (maybe. not sure. future brain will decide what we do).

I've had this series in my drafts for a while now. I kept meaning to come back to it but life has been way too overwhelming for me to think about VP. But then I had a conversation with @juststayquiete this morning & realized that all of you, all of us together, are constantly phoenixing.

The world is on fucking fire and so are so many of our lives. But I keep looking up from my breaking point, seeing you all, and finding more and more reasons to start again.

So here's to dancing together amongst the flames!
