Time moves on slowly after. Or maybe they're too quick, the intervening years.

I don't even deserve to be alive when 15 and 16 and 20 year olds exist who can create things so much better than I can. What's the point of me even existing when someone younger than me can do every skill I claim to have better than me in every possible way? When I have no role besides being a body to fill some space and carry some boxes most of the time. My voice has no meaning and I have no purpose. I'm just a placeholder, a pair of hands and a smile to keep someone company. I'm not meaningful in any way and I have no importance or significance to anyone for any reason. There are no stories I can tell that someone else couldn't tell better or more authentically, no masterpiece of art I could aspire to that someone else can't make 100x better and more technically vibrant, and no concept that I come up with that isn't just a rehash of something else someone has done before me already. I'm nothing and no one. Useless stupid peice of junk. I'm a tchotchke you pick up to put on your shelf because it's shiny, until you go back to it after a few years and realize it's just cheap plastic and balsa wood wrapped up with a haphazard lacquer and sold at a premium like it was some piece of art.
