Fushionsprunt is a moving city, right? How does one get onto a moving city?

(And a branch question to that, have any stray animals managed to find themselves getting on board?)

Fusionsprunt is sort of a cyperpunk-y city, so anyone can get on board if given permission, then they are escorted inside by provided aircrafts.

Most of the story takes place in a desert, so there are only a few creatures that find shelter within the lower machinery parts of the ship (such as small reptiles and arachnids) or somewhere on the main deck and surroundings (such as small mammals).

The city itself is a moving ecosystem with different species inhabiting it, including ones that are used to tropical environments. Plant life has grown on the sides of the ship hull as well, and although seen in low quality here, it should looks somewhat like this.
