Why Must We Deep Clean Office Upholstery?
Just like how you pay attention to keeping your home and its surrounding screen, it is extremely important for you to get in touch with professional cleaners so that they can deep clean your office as well as its upholstery on a regular basis. You might not know, but your office upholstery tends to accumulate a lot of dirt and germs and contributes to nasty disease-causing infections. Here are a few reasons why you need to consider deep cleaning your office upholstery:
Tumblr media
Removes allergens and embedded debris:
You must pay special attention to the office upholstery cleaning in Port Melbourne, and you’re good to go. Dust is everywhere, and many times the cleaning staff fail to acknowledge the grime accumulated in the upholstery and overlook it. Little do people know that removing allergens and embedded debris in the upholstery and chairs is extremely important, and regular deep cleaning will help you solve this issue.
Regular deep cleaning extends furniture lifespan:
Try to seek professional help so that it becomes easy for you to get the best office upholstery cleaning in Middle Park. Office furniture is not cheap, and it is not possible for you to renovate them or buy new ones to replace the existing damaged pieces every now and then. Regular professional deep cleaning will definitely extend the furniture’s lifespan and give you satisfactory results.
It adds a professional touch to your office:
Remember that workstations are also a component of your office decor. You must look forward to hiring professional office cleaners so that they can clean the accumulated dust and germs from the chair fabric with ease. Letting the professional cleaners deep clean the upholstery will turn out to be a lot less expensive than replacing them.
Why rely on commercial cleaners?
Try to rely on professional commercial carpet cleaning experts in Kew, and you’re sure to be in a win-win situation. Furniture collects dust stains and even sweat particles released from the employees sitting on them. A deep cleaning via professional cleaners will instantly remove those stains and resume the original glory of your office upholstery.
Be upfront with cleaning, especially after significant events:
If you are thinking about when is the right time to get a deep cleaning done to your furniture pieces, hire professional cleaners before and after any significant event taking place in your office.
In a nutshell: Leather chairs must be deep cleaned at least once every six months, and getting it done by professional cleaners is like the cherry on top of the cake.

5 Commonly Missed Areas in an Office That an Expert Will Never Miss
It is always important for you to keep the office space in top condition. A neat and clean office will help you to provide a safe working atmosphere to your team. This will motivate them to perform better which in turn will increase productivity. All this will help you in fulfilling your business goals and taking your company to the next level. But to get the desired result, it is better to hire professional cleaners for commercial cleaning in Melbourne.
Most of the time it has been seen that when people try to manage the commercial cleaning in Kew on their own, they often miss cleaning some important areas. Due to this dirt, germs, and grime gets build-up in those places which negatively affects the staff’s health and lowers the office’s standards. Therefore it becomes crucial to hire the expert cleaning team for office cleaning service because they won't miss cleaning those spaces which you might.
Tumblr media
Areas Which The Professionals Will Not Miss To Clean
Cleaning a commercial space may look easy. People think that sweeping and mopping the floor, cleaning the doors and windows is more than enough to keep the commercial space in the best possible condition. But that is not so. These are common tasks that need to be performed on a daily basis. To keep the office space free from germs, allergies and bacteria there are a few important areas that should be cleaned perfectly.
Cleaning behind large and heavy machines: Cleaning the areas behind large and heavy machines is important. You might feel that cleaning these areas once a month is good. But that is not so. Dirt and dust can easily build up at such placeswhich may make the working environment unsafe. Not only this, even the machines should be cleaned periodically so that you and your staff members don't have to face any kind of health issue.
Microwave and coffee machine cleaning: Microwave is used daily by the staff members for reheating the cooked foods. You will be surprised to know that the door and handle of the microwave are the dirtiest places. Cleaning the appliance both from inside and out is important. The coffee machine is another appliance that is often neglected during cleaning work.
Air conditioners: It does also become important to clean the air conditioners. It will allow the cooling system to perform efficiently. Not only this you will save on energy bills as well as reduce the cost of costly breakdowns
Curtains and Blinds: Many a time it has been seen that people often fail to clean the curtains and blinds. Ignoring this might turn out to be a big problem for you in the future.
Furniture and Upholstery: The expert cleaning team will never forget to clean the office furniture such as desk, chairs, sofa sets and upholstery. They understand the importance of keeping the office neat and clean. Therefore you can trust them to offer you a great cleaning service.
Apart from all these, the professional cleaning team will also make the best efforts to clean the walls, telephones, paper shredders, inside of the desk and drawers,
kitchen and bathroom cabinets, computers and accessories, photocopy machines, carpets, windows, etc. The experts will make the best efforts to offer you an excellent cleaning result and that too at a cost-effective price.

Can I have a whole ADA in Platonic relationship with the reader whose ability is like Nezuko from Kimetsu No Yaiba? The reader doesn't have to wear a bamboo muzzle like her nor she has to be in a box! Thanks!!
Home
Tumblr media
A/n: I'm very sorry if it's different from what you've expected since I haven't watched a single episode of Demon Slayer and only relied on the internet about Nezuko. Thank you for requesting and hoped you liked it!
Inside the ADA's office you were often the one that handles the papers. Even though you were always part of the team, you preferred to stay away from fights and cases that was always handled by the members and President Fukuzawa respected the decision you made. But sometimes, you are forced to use your ability every once in a while especially during the times that the agency is being raided.
And those one of the blue moon occasions happened today. A certain terrorist was causing havoc around Yokohama and the being was one of its victims. Several armed men entered the building and started firing their guns. The whole shooting stopped when one of the enemies decided to take you as hostage. A gun was pointed at your head.
None of the agency members dared to make a move. It wasn't because they were scared but rather, it is because they know that you can handle it. And once again, the gun was pushed against your head.
And with that, you're body starts to grow double it's size. You held the hand of the person that took you hostage and threw him off the wall. Suddenly, one of the men aimed his gun at you and shot your shoulder. Blood splattered and came in contact with with another person, specifically the enemy. But, the moment in touched his skin it started burning.
And with that, along with the other members of the agency, you defeated the armed men. The whole place was a mess and several unconscious bodies were on the floor. You and Kenji decided to throw them off the window.
After cleaning the place up, several screams were heard inside Yosano's room, it was pretty obvious what was happening already. You were the next one that was supposed to be healed but thanks to the regeneration that came along with your ability, you didn't have to face the same fate that the other members did. Though, Yosano did try to persuade you.
Atsushi walked towards you and complimented you saying that this was the first time he saw you fight after joining the agency. Dazai on the other hand, was also proud of you and patting your shoulder. Ranpo didn't praise you directly but smiled at you, he already knew how powerful you really are and he expected what he sae during the battle.
Kunikida walked towards you and adjusted his glasses. And oh boy, you kew where this was going. He scolded you for throwing the person too hard that it broke the wall and almost burned the place down because of the blood that came in contact with the papers.
The Tanizaki siblings were on their usual routine and laughed a bit at their antics. The president caught everyone's attention prepared a meeting about the terrorists that attacked.
You smiled when you saw the whole team being together. A cat with black and orange patches came to you and rubbed his head on your leg.
This wasn't the first time you have felt this but it really did feel like home whenever you're in the agency. Even if chaos did happen here and there.

HPHM Amortentia Scent Headcanons
Or as I like to put it, “Scentcanons!” ...I’ll show myself out.
No but for real, I had an anon asking about this, so let’s dive in!
The question here is what would each character smell in Amortentia vs what another person would smell if they fancied said character. There are also certain characters who we have confirmed from canon. Finally, I’d like to clarify that I don’t think of Amortentia scents being exclusive to who one is attracted to romantically, just that it can go that way. I don’t want to get too deep into shipping, so any loved ones that turn up as scents probably aren’t going to be romantic interests.
Rowan - We know they smell of parchment, ink, and lumber. As for what they would smell, I think we can safely assume they’d smell old books, tree sap, and probably Fuzzclaw? Speaking as someone who’s grown up with cats, they do have a unique and not unpleasant smell to them. Everything that reminds Rowan of home, and of what they love.
Ben - Someone who had feelings for Ben would probably smell the scent of dust, or if we want to be more poetic, petrichor. Yeah, I like that. It makes sense given how much he hides and sneaks around. As for Ben himself, I feel like he would be drawn to the scent of safer things. At least Pre-Portrait Vault. I’ve seen clean sheets, mint leaves/mint soap, and hot chocolate used as examples before, and all of them agree with me.
Penny - I can imagine someone would smell whatever her perfume/conditioner is. Let’s go with honeydew, that kinda suits her.  Head-canons for what Penny herself would smell are the metallic scent of a Cauldron, the wildflowers from Kew Gardens (where she’s said her family visits) and also Beatrice’s hair. Come on, Bea is the person she loves the most, easily.
Merula - Another canon confirmation, Merula smells of nail polish, cloves, and something “elusive.” (The MC/Merula hints continue, I swear to god.) As for what Merula herself would pick up on, I feel like it would be scents that are attractive, but also painful, if that makes sense? To suit her prickly nature. Stuff like smoke and soot, as well as poison ivy. On top of that, maybe something softer to counter-balance it, like pumpkin pie?
Bill - I feel like Bill would smell of leather. Let me explain. While he’s usually depicted in a variation on his school uniform, we know from Harry’s description that he was “cool.” In HPHM, he doesn’t have the earring yet, but he does have the long hair. I feel like he’d smell of leather. As for Bill himself, gonna go with scents that remind him of home. Stuff like Molly’s cooking, his father’s jumper, even the gnomes out back.
Andre - He totally wears perfume, he is the type. There are just certain characters (Penny is another) where you just know that’s a thing they do. So whatever type he wears, that’s what the Andre fans pick up on. For Andre himself? I’m gonna go with the scent of a sewing machine, as well as a broom shed, and maybe something that reminds him of his family, since he seems to be close with them.
Tulip - As for Tulip’s scent, this is going to go full on fanon, and I’m going to say she smells like cherries. Because apparently when the writers were designing her wand, it was going to be made of cherry wood and be a family heirloom. I still think Sycamore suits her better, but I love that idea. As for the scents Tulip would find attractive, I’m going to go with ones that carry a hint of danger. Candle wax, for example, is always close to a fire. The scent of dungbombs feels like a given. If anyone likes it, Tulip would. Finally, I’m gonna go with pond water, because of Dennis.
Tonks - Anyone who fancies Tonks is probably going to pick up on the scent of Zonko’s. That is where she spends most of her time and does all her shopping, after all. As for what she would smell? I’m gonna say maybe a Wizarding candy, like Fizzing Whizbees. The packaging on something like a Fanged Frisbee. And even Filch’s office, because she has cherished memories of practicing mischief there.
Barnaby - Canon time, we know Barnaby smells like sandalwood and fresh laundry, which is just adorable. But I feel as though Barnaby would be drawn to the scent of the flowers and trees from the Reserve, as well as the old, dusty and musty smell of the Dueling Club. For a third scent I think I’ll go with the smell of Hagrid’s Hut. This is totally a head-canon, but I think they become very close friends.
Ismelda - Well, this one is awkward. The game loves to make jokes about how she smells bad, but maybe to someone who’s in love with her, the scent would be nice? As odd as that sounds. Otherwise, who knows. She had to have cleaned up pretty nice for the Celestial Ball, right? As for Ismelda herself, this one is tricky. But like Merula, I think she’d be drawn to scents that have more of an edge. Fresh ink comes to mind, and perhaps burnt toast. Other than that? I’m not sure.
Charlie - This one also has canon to back it up, Charlie smells like honeysuckle and grass. As for what he would smell in Amortentia...okay, let's get the obvious out of the way right now. Whatever dragons smell like, that’s going to be one of his scents. Because I don’t care what canon says, he works with dragons in the Reserve. He just does. Other than that, I feel like maybe the metallic scent of a Snitch, because we know he’s a Seeker, and maybe the thistles of trees in the Forbidden Forest? He’s said to hang out there.
Liz - I’m pretty sure she’s supposed to smell like lake-water and hay? I cannot find the screenshots, but her scent was also confirmed by Care of Magical Creatures. In any case, Liz is a fairly straight-forward character to get a handle on. Her smells from Amortentia are mulch, (don’t judge her) as well as a Porlock’s fur, and the scent of vegetables. She’s an outdoorsy sort of girl and similar to Newt Scamander, seems to get along better with other creatures than humans.
Chiara - In terms of what someone would smell, I’d have to go with moonflowers. I know it’s the obvious choice, but how can I resist? As for Chiara herself, I’m going to go with fresh soil, hospital sheets, and dog fur. Reflecting her interests in Herbology and Healing, and also representing the sweetest baby to ever exist, Borf. I’ve seen head-canons that she would smell Wolfsbane potion, but it’s supposed to taste disgusting, so I doubt it.
Talbott - Likewise, I think it’s pretty clear that someone would smell the scent of bird feathers if they fancied Talbott. If that’s too cliche, go with whatever product he puts in his hair, since it’s always slicked back. As for what Talbott smells, I’d go with the scent of hay from the Owlery, maybe the quills that he writes his notes with, and finally the scent of his mother, or her necklace. Could be the same, at least as far as he remembers.
Jae - Anyone who fancies Jae is going to pick up his scent, so probably the scent of the Hogwarts Kitchens, since that’s where he spends most of his time. For Jae, okay...money has a unique scent. It just does. And he deals with it a lot, doing what he loves. So I’m gonna say the scent of galleons, turkey sandwiches, and maybe something with more of an edge, like Firewhiskey. Come on, we all know he’s tried it before.
Badeea - She’s a character I don’t know nearly as well, though I’d like to rectify that. I’m torn between saying that the scent of paint would be what someone else smells if they fancy her, or if it would be something that she herself smells because she loves painting. No reason it couldn’t be both. Other than that, she gives me the feeling that she’s someone who would be really into incense and various spices, like maybe sage. So it’s all chemicals with Badeea...make of that what you will.
Diego - I also don’t know him well enough to judge, but I am certain that he’s the type to wear cologne, so whatever it is that he’s wearing is what the Diego fans would pick up on. As for Diego himself, I’m gonna say the resin of a dance floor, the scent of denim (he wears a lot of it) and probably the smell of flowers? He does make a few casanova style lines about enjoying them. And not just the hellebore.
Skye - No clue what Skye’s scent would be. Probably something strong Citrus. As for what she picks up on, gonna go with the scent of quaffles, ground coffee, and maybe the streets of Wigtown. I just feel like she doesn’t have much of a life outside of Quidditch and her legacy and has kind of turned herself into a machine to fulfil that life goal, without focusing on anything else.
Murphy - Murphy smells like linen. Don’t ask me why, I just know that this is true. I can just feel it. It suits him. As to what Murphy himself picks up on, among other things he smells Kneazle fur, the wood of a chessboard, and the scent of chalk. I mean come on, this one one of the easier characters to figure out, give me a hard one.
Orion - Someone who fancied Orion would seriously pick up on the scent of his hair, because that is some glorious hair. Orion himself would probably smell Jasmine Tea, Quidditch Grass, and the scent of sea salt. I’m not sure why exactly, but he’s a character who I’ve actually thought about this for before, and I think these scents are mystical enough but also give the suggestion of an overall healthy balance.
Rath - This is a case like Ismelda, where I don’t think anyone ever gets close enough to smell her, but more out of fear than the idea that she might smell unpleasant. But I feel like she smells like ginger. As for what she would pick up from Amortentia, the metallic scent of a bludger, as well as perhaps the scent of new robes, and maybe broomstick polish? Similar to Skye, I’m not sure. Not because she has no life outside of Quidditch, but we have no idea what it entails if she does.
Beatrice - I feel like anyone who fancied Beatrice (We are not getting into the debate of who that might be) would probably pick up the smell of her makeup? Because she wears a lot of it now, seemingly every day. As for what she would pick up on herself? I’m gonna say the scent of puffskeins, since she seems to be a fan of them and have one of her own. As well as the scent of the library, but specifically the Restricted Section, because I feel like she regularly breaks in. Finally, hmm...maybe something to do with home? Perhaps a fresh baked pie that her parents made? Just throwing out ideas.
Covered as many characters as I could think of, and there were only so many scents that occurred to me, aha. I hope this helps though, anon!

Galactica, Chapter 15 (Group Fic) - TheDane/Veronica
A/N: ! Click here if you’re looking for previous chapters (or here if you’d rather read on AO3). 💫
Last Chapter: Bang Time.
This Chapter: It’s party time when Fame finally approves the new Spring line. Also: Trixie paints, Courtney gets a windfall, and an out of town visitor stops by.
Reminder: Indonesian is indicated with brackets [like this.]
***
On Thursday morning, a roar sounded through Galactica, as Fame had finally approved the last of the changes to the spring collection. Trixie blasted “We Are the Champions” on repeat as he popped several bottles of champagne, serving it to everyone in everything from empty Starbucks cups to glass jars as they were finally, finally, finally free after more than three weeks of constant soul crushing hope smashing hard work.
“Trixie, it’s Alyssa for you,” Kandy told him, pointing to the phone beside him, line one flashing green.
He rolled his eyes and picked up. “Hello?”
“Sir. Please turn off that hideous straight boy noise and bring your team upstairs to join us for a real party,” Alyssa said. “We still have almost an hour before the meeting and I think a little dancing is in order.”
“Fine, fine,” Trixie laughed. “We’re coming now. But I really don’t think you can call Queen ‘straight boy noise.’”
“Whatever. Just come up!” Alyssa gave him a definitive tongue pop before hanging up the phone.
Trixie turned to his employees. “Party upstairs in marketing!”
“What about the Fashion Week meeting?” asked Blu anxiously.
“That, my dear, is a problem for our future selves.”
***
Pearl sat in her office, her legs on her desk as she folded paper planes and then threw them into her trash can, while listening to The Clash, trying to drown out the disco that was blasting from the bullpen.
Pearl didn’t respond to the knock on the door, but Trixie opened it anyway, a smile on his face.
“The Clash? Really?”
“Shut up, I’m heartbroken.” Pearl held up her hand, flipping him off before leaning back in her chair and closing her eyes, turning up her music.
Trixie signed.
“You’re not heartbroken.”
“Am so.”
“Stop pouting, Pearl. You know how many girls you’ve been a dick to? So this one doesn’t want you. Well, serves you right.”
Pearl cracked an eye open, her nose crinkling into a frown.
“It does! So come on...we’re going to join the others, and you’re gonna have a couple of drinks and get over yourself. Fashion Week is coming up and we need you to be on your A game.”
Trixie held open the door, beckoning her to follow.
With a groan, Pearl begrudgingly stood up and followed Trixie out of her office.
“Shut up, I’m always on my A game.”
“As if.”
They both laughed, Trixie putting his arm around Pearl as he ushered her towards the celebration.
***
“No, you can’t go.”
“But Violeeet,” Courtney whined, laying over her desk, looking at Violet with gigantic puppy dog eyes. Everything in their office was basically shaking along to the rhythm of “It’s Raining Men” from the floor below. “Pleeease.”
“No.”
“Why do they get to party, and not us? It’s not fair!”
“Because it’s our time to work now, so be quiet and get to it, there are a tough few weeks ahead.”
Even though Violet’s words were harsh, Courtney didn’t feel cut by them; she didn’t even feel intimidated by the fact that Violet apparently didn’t think of the last two weeks as tough. She was too proud of the fact that she’d finished all of the packets for the marketing meeting--and early, too.
She closed the final folder with a flourish.
“All done!”
“Already? Good job.” Violet stood up and walked to her desk, picking up one of the folders, brow wrinkling. “Why is it so light? Did you forget one of the sections?” She opened the folder and began to look through.
“No, it’s all there! I triple-checked!” Courtney chirped happily.
“Courtney.” Violet closed her eyes. “Did you print the meeting materials duplex?”
The way Violet spat out the word, it sounded like a slur, and Courtney was confused. It made perfect sense to her to print everything double-sided. She’d saved over two reams of paper that way.
“Well, yeah. I figured we’d save a ton of paper if-”
“Did I ask you to print duplex? Huh?” Violet demanded, slamming the folder down.
“No, but I thought-”
“Well luckily for all of us, it’s not your job to think, because you’re not very good at that, are you? It’s your job to follow instructions!”
Courtney nodded slowly, the light in her completely turned off compared to the happy, bubbly girl she had been only moments before.
“I’m sorry, Violet. I’ll redo them.” Courtney picked up the master documents again, biting her lip.
Violet instantly felt bad, like she had kicked a puppy.
“You know what? It’s fine. Maybe no one will notice,” Violet sighed. “Why don’t you go join the party while I prepare the boardroom for the Fashion Week meeting?”
Courtney lit up, the smile reappearing on her face.
“Really?! But you just said-”
“Yes really, now go before I change my mind. Have fun. You have 30 minutes.”
“Thank you!”
***
Pearl was in a horrible mood. The boardroom was filled to the brim with people from every department. There were even a few interns squeezed around the perimeter of the conference table, and it made the room cramped and uncomfortable to be in.
Pearl had been fuming on the inside since last Sunday where Violet had closed her door right in her face. No one had ever done anything like that to Pearl, and what was worse, she didn’t even know why.
Violet was tripping around the edge of the boardroom, clearly anxious since she had little to no control of the situation. Normally everything would have been perfectly crisp, neat and organized which were not the words anyone could use to describe the situation they were in now. Pearl smiled, satisfied, to herself when she could see Violet practically scream on the inside when Kim Chi dropped part of her meatball sub on the table, using her meeting agenda to wipe the sauce away.
Pearl leaned back in her chair, everything suddenly a lot less irritating now that Violet was officially losing it.

“Alyssa, I want invites sent out as soon as possible, you can borrow Laganja to get it done. Trixie, I know you have worked incredibly hard but I need you through the home stretch. Prepare a backstage team for Fashion Week, I want everything double and triple checked. Pearl, find every contact you can and make them aware of our show. Violet confirmed the location yesterday and has found a garden team that can hopefully transform our venue into the tropical jungle we wanted. Ivy, I expect you to run the style department for the next few days while we rebook our models, and yes Trixie, we will try to stay close to your vision. Raja is pulling in favors right now and we hope we can get everything confirmed Monday. You’re dismissed. Oh, and Kim, please clean up after yourself before you leave.”
***
Trixie stepped out of his taxi, looking around as he put his wallet into his fanny pack, then feeling guilty about it. Katya swore up and down that the Bronx neighborhood where she taught was perfectly safe, but he always found himself a little nervous there regardless. Nothing could ruin his mood today though, he was finally free after weeks of constant sewing, of spending countless hours in the fabric district looking for just the right shade, to endless phone calls with their suppliers, tailors and the long discussions with the botanist at The Royal Botanic Garden in Kew in England trying to get a hold of Marianna Norths original drawings.
He went through the side gate into the playground, heading for Katya’s classroom when he spotted her. She was on the east side of the schoolyard, her blonde hair collected in a high ponytail, her feet in wellies and a pair of overalls on, painting the wall in front of her. Right now Katya was working on a giant sun, so her hands, clothes and hair were covered in yellow and orange shades of paint.
“Hey Miss! I don’t have a library card, but do you mind if I check you out?”
“What?!”
Katya turned around, hands on her hips, trying to cover up a clearly amused expression with her most serious Scolding Teacher face, until she realized that it was Trixie who had called to her.
“Sugarbutt!!” Katya ran over to Trixie, her shoes making a whoosh sound with each step before she jumped into Trixie’s arms, covering the both of them in paint. “What are you doing here?”
“We’re finally finished with the collection, so I came to see you.”
Trixie laughed as Katya clung to him like a tiny koala cub, the two of them enjoying being in each other’s company again after way too long without actually seeing each other.
“What are you up to here?” Trixie smiled, looking up at Katya, kissing her nose and the paint there.
“I’m painting! Look!” Katya wiggled until Trixie put her down. She pointed to the wall of the building, which was half gray concrete and half an explosion of color.
“I’m painting the ocean.” Katya smiled brightly. “This will be the coral reef and over here is the sunken ship with the scaaaarry ghosts and then way over there.” Katya pointed, “I’ll make Atlantis with all different kinds of mermaids!”
Trixie looked around, the wall was truly gigantic, his own smile matching Katya’s. “So you finally got the budget?”
“Well, not exactly.” Katya had grabbed her paintbrush again, continuing on the sun. She’d been lobbying her principal for the last year to get funding to decorate the courtyard where the youngest students spend their breaks.
“What do you mean not exactly?”
“We didn’t have the funds to buy the paint or hire a painter, so now I’m doing it myself!”
“Katya, are you committing vandalism on your own school?!”
“No, no of course not!” Katya held up her hands. “ I made a deal with the principal. I pay for the materials and do the painting myself.”
“And what’s his side of the deal? What do you get?”
“Um...a pretty wall for the kids?” Katya smiled, clearly unbothered by the free labor she was doing if it would brighten her students’ day.
“Well, in that case...” Trixie smiled, picking up one of the brushes. “What part do you want me to work on?”
“We need a colony of clown fishes over there.”
“Colony of clown fishes coming right up Ms. Zamolodchikova!” Trixie did a mock salute, immediately starting to fill out the sketches that Katya had done.
“Hey Trixie...”
“Yes?”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”

Courtney was sitting at her computer, absentmindedly checking Facebook and drinking a coconut water, enjoying the rare peace and quiet even though she knew she should be working; Violet had given her a spreadsheet with a massive list of names to confirm for Fashion Week, and she was only a third of the way through.
But on the other hand, Violet was out of the office, taking a trip to the tailors for Fame, who was at a charity function with Patrick, so the office was completely quiet. And there was no harm in a tiny break, right?
The door opened and Courtney jumped, quickly minimizing Safari and pulling up the Fashion Week Spreadsheet, pretending to be working.
“Hey Courtney.” Ivy smiled, the other’s teal shirt making her red hair look stunning.
Courtney breathed a sigh of relief that it was just her, even though she’d never been fully at ease with Ivy. She had just never met anyone else who was as genuinely sweet and upbeat as the girl who was standing in front of her.
“Hey Ivy!” Courtney smiled as soon as she got herself under control. “What’s up? Fame isn’t here right now, and neither is Violet…”
“Oh, I know.”
“You do?” Courtney wrinkled her brow, looking at the overflowing shopping bags Ivy had placed on her desk. “Then what’s all of this? Are they for Fame? Should I store them here?”
“No Courtney,” Ivy laughed, pushing the bags towards Courtney. “They’re for you.”
“Really?!” Courtney looked into the bags and squealed happily. “Ivy… These are… These are real designer things!”
“I cleaned out the Warehouse, and most of this is too out of date to use for the website or shoots, so you’re welcome to take whatever you want.” Ivy smiled at Courtney’s enthusiasm, not telling her that the bags in front of her were mostly filled with the clothes that no one else wanted. But Ivy knew that Courtney would appreciate it--she’d seen the young assistant repeat articles of clothing enough times to know that her closet was nowhere near as full as most of their coworkers.
Courtney grabbed a purse. “Oh my god! This is Marc Jacobs! And what are these? Banana Republic pants!” Courtney smiled, her enthusiasm making Ivy laugh while Courtney emptied out all of the bags, acting like a kid on Christmas as she clapped her hands in happiness over the Stuart Weitzmen shoes and Badgley Mischka dresses. And best of all, loads of Galactica pieces that she would never have been able to afford on her own. Finally, she’d be able to really fit in--and toss the tired black pencil skirt from Target that she’d worn about 4 times over the past few weeks.
Courtney looked up at Ivy, tears in her eyes.
“Thank you… Seriously… Thank you so so much Ivy.”
“Don’t mention it, we girls gotta look out for each other.”

SUTAN: Hey. Are you there?
VIOLET: Yes, why?
Sutan smiled and leaned back into his chair. It was a little after eight, and Sutan was pretty sure he was the only person left in the office, not that he minded. His days often going by in a blur of everyone and their mother needing something, so it was nice to have the place to himself, giving him time to think.
SUTAN: Dinner at Annisa tomorrow?
VIOLET: Can’t. Busy.
Sutan wrinkled his brow. Busy? He stood up, getting a cigarette from his drawer before he opened the window, leaning out of it as he returned to his phone.
SUTAN: How hard is Fame riding you over there if you can’t go out?
VIOLET: I think the question is how you’re not busy, Fashion Week is in 10 days?
Sutan snorted. Fashion week was indeed in 10 days, as if anyone would let him forget it.
VIOLET: I want to have time. I promise.

“To Karl!”
Fame laughed, the sounds of the groups glass clinking together filling the bar, Karl was smiling brightly as they toasted the man clearly enjoying the fact that he was the center of attention for the night, everyone treating him like a wayward son, even though he had been in New York two weeks earlier.
“So, what’s new in London?” Raja smiled, easily falling into conversation with Karl, who adored entertaining.
Fame loved drinks night with her friends. When they were in their twenties they had met up several times a week, but by now it was a miracle if she could get all of them together once a month for a weeknight cocktail or two.
Juju and Detox hadn’t been able to make it, but with a teenager and twins toddlers, they were somewhat excused.
Fame took a sip of her drink, allowing herself to just sink back and fully enjoy the sounds and laughs of her favorite people talking and laughing together, the sounds of her husband’s chuckle next to her feeling like a warm blanket as she leaned against his side.
“So is no one else going to point out what’s going on with Sutan?” Bianca asked.
Everyone turned their attention to Sutan, who looked up from his phone, a smile quickly fading from his face.
“What?”
“Why do you look like that?” Bianca smiled, the woman clearly beyond entertained as she leaned on her hand, her finger twirling on the stem of her wine glass.
“Look like what?” Sutan put his phone down, and it didn’t escape Fame’s notice that he made sure to flip his screen to the table. Maybe he did actually have something to hide.
“I don’t know, weird,” Bianca said.
“I don't look weird, you look weird,” Sutan retorted childishly, which made Bianca cackle and attempt to kick him under the table.
“She's right,” Raja said, head tilted. “You do look weird. You're all…”
“Smiley?” asked Karl, taking a handful of peanuts from the table.
“Yes! That's it! It's creepy,” said Bianca.
“My smile is not creepy!” Sutan groaned. “Why are we even talking about me?”
“Don’t listen to them.” Karl smiled, which earned him a squeeze on his arm from Sutan.
“Thanks, Karl.”
“It is a little bit creepy,” Raven chimed in.
Fame giggled.
“See?” asked Bianca. “Even Raven agrees, and we all know her favorite pastime is arguing with me.”
Raven threw her hair over her shoulder, and Fame was very pleasantly surprised that she wasn’t going to argue that point. Bianca and Raven were almost always throwing insults at each other, and while it was entertaining most of the time, it also got very draining in the long run.
"Raven, remember that I'm your boss.”
"Manager," she corrected.
"Boss. Now pack up the attitude." Sutan folded his arms, feigning seriousness, but a hint of his dopey smile remained.
Fame leaned forward, telling him, “I think your smile is beautiful, Tan.”
“Thank you!”
“Yikes,” Raven muttered, making Bianca snicker.
“You know what, it is beautiful! Fuck all the rest of you, except you Karl, you can stay.”
“Thanks man.” Karl gave Sutan’s cheek a kiss, which made him roll his eyes and growl.
“See, now you look normal,” Bianca declared, gesturing to his now sullen pout, no one noticing the flash of hurt on Karl’s face.

[So.] Sutan almost wanted to sigh at the sound of his sister’s voice, Raja sliding in next to him at the bar. [What’s going on with you?]
Raja was stunning in her black jumpsuit with a green top underneath, heavy golden jewelry on her arms, her long hair styled with tiny braids that made her look like a warrior goddess.
[Nothing is going on.] Sutan picked up his beer, hoping that his sister would leave him alone, but he was never that lucky.
[Please.] Raja smiled. [You’ve never been able to lie to me, Tantan.]
[I don’t know what you’re talking about.]
[You’re seeing someone.]
[Wha-] Sutan groaned, realizing that the battle was probably lost for good. He sat down, and Raja took a seat next to him, his sister flagging the bartender for a drink. [How did you know?]
[Are you asking me that?] Raja raised an eyebrow. [I know you, brother dear. The smiles, the texting, the fact that you suddenly couldn’t make dinner last week-]
[I told Raven at work-] Sutan guessed that he had technically told Raven in passing, but what was a sister in law worth if he couldn’t send messages along.
[So who is she?] Raja smiled.
Sutan opened his mouth to explain Violet, the ever mysterious, beautiful weird new girl in his life, but then realized he couldn’t. And further, he didn’t want to. He was enjoying having her all to himself right now, and not terribly anxious to break the spell.
[Let me keep this one.]
Raja raised an eyebrow. [So it’s serious?]
Sutan shrugged, and Raja kissed his cheek.
[I love you,] she said. [Even when you’re pretending to be mysterious.]
Sutan smiled.
[I love you too.]

Will you?
A random fluff thing because I’m kinda in the mood. Kinda.
Inspired by the song “Omigod you guys” from Legally Blonde.
---
“Miss Lin? I have a mission for you.”
“Coming in, sir. What is it?”
“There’s a mission for you at the...Kew Gardens, miss. Your presence is requested, but first I have a package for you.”
“Send it over here, sir.”
Mad-Eye couldn’t be serious.
There she was, standing in front of the mirror, wearing a fancy dress even Andre couldn’t have imagined designing just for her. A red strapless dress hugged her figure, raven black hair tumbling down her shoulders in loose waves. Layers of silk and satin wrapped firmly round her waist, jewels sparkling from the corset, a diamond tiara donned atop her head. Her glasses were polished to a shine as well.
Was this really a mission? There was nothing suspicious about this dress, nothing that would give her away as an Auror reporting on a mission. But still, something felt off. Why was her presence requested at a Muggle garden? She thought back to the days Penny made mention of this garden in Herbology class...
Did something happen to the Muggles there?
She quickly Disapparated from the office and found herself in the garden, all set up with rose petals and stars in the sunset. Her feet, now bare, landed in the grass that tickled beneath her. She held her wand out in front of her, just in case anyone tried to attack her.
That was when she a Puffskein fly through the air, landing in front of her feet.
“Huh?” A confused look crossed Clara’s face as she picked up the little creature, still happily dancing about as if nothing serious had happened. That was when another came out into the open. Then another. And another.
The trail of Puffskeins soon lead her to a gazebo where she heard music and singing crescendo with every step. Garlands of flowers--lilies and roses and many more she couldn’t name--decorated every column, fairy lights floating high above in the cavernous ceiling. To her left, she saw all her friends wearing beautiful golden dresses and suits, and singing with little Em playing the piano and Badeea conducting the group. Her jaw dropped in awe at the lovely little concert, the set-up made just for her.
“Clara! She’s here, guys!”
Rowan’s shout interrupted the group’s singing, which soon turned into shouts as they approached her.
“Ahh! It’s great to see you!” Clara cried as she hugged every one of her friends. “No wonder Tonks had to leave the office early! That was beautiful, thank you guys!”
“Well, you deserve it after all you’ve been through,” Tonks said with a laugh. “And it’s hard getting everyone together! But I told them it’d be for the best.”
“Though it wasn’t really...Tonks’ idea,” Penny admitted quietly with a sheepish laugh.
“Really?” Clara cocked her head. “Then who came up with this?”
“Are we all going to ignore the fact that Clara looks stunning in this beautiful red dress?” Andre inquired suddenly. “After all, you don’t get the opportunity to wear this dress from the hands of a wizarding stylist--and not for this very important day, either.”
“When can any day be of great importance?” Orion asked Andre then, who just shrugged.
“Seriously, Clara, you’ll love it,” Diego assured her, wrapping an arm around little Em who had just appeared by his side. “You’ll see why.”
“And we worked so hard on this, too!” Charlie said then. “Like Tonks said, it wasn’t easy getting everyone together, but it’s all for you. You’re our best friend, after all, and we can’t forget about you after everything we’ve been through!”
“Wait, wait.” Clara held her hands up quickly, looking at her friends. “So...Andre designed the dress, and everyone worked on whatever this is...” Then her eyes widened at the fact that one certain face was missing. “Hold on, where’s Barnaby?”
“Right here, miss.”
No way. Clara turned around then to see her Hogwarts crush, now close significant other standing before her with a clean black tux over his figure, his hair gelled to usual perfection, the million dollar smile that always made her melt dazzling over his face. She caught sight of the boutonniere now in his breast pocket--it was the same one he wore at the Celestial Ball, when they were each others’ dates.
“Barnaby!” Clara jumped. “Oh, wow, you look wonderful.”
Barnaby chuckled and shook his head. “No. You look wonderful. In fact--” he lifted her hand then and lightly brushed his lips against her knuckles-- “you look perfect.”
Ba-dump. Her heart began to pound at the slight gesture--a gesture she knew she would never get used to. “No, you look perfect tonight, Barnaby.”
“No you.”
“No, you.”
“No, you.”
“No, you--” Clara shook her head and laughed then, a bubbly sound that made his heart skip a beat. “Okay, I’m even irritating myself.”
Barnaby gently pulled her close, a small smile on his face, and lead her up the stairs to the gazebo, the fairy lights above them dazzling her eyes. “You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to do this, Clara,” he told her then, his eyes soft as they glanced into her own.
“After all we’ve been through together?” Clara asked. “I’d say everyone needs a good reunion after so long.”
“Well...yes,” Barnaby responded slowly, putting a hand on her waist and gently bringing her into a slow dance. “It was great to get everyone here together for this. Being with them reminds me of why I’m here, Clara--here, with you, in the most beautiful place at the most beautiful moment.”
“When I heard Mad-Eye tasked me with a mission here, I almost panicked,” Clara admitted sheepishly, easing into the routine as her sister began to play the piano again. “I thought Muggles were getting attacked here or something.”
“Muggles, attacked? I don’t think any wizard would think of coming here--at least, no Dark Wizard can. And Penny’s nowhere near dark,” Barnaby argued with a laugh. “No, she managed to book the space for us tonight. And I thought that you always liked to see the flowers...your father is a gifted Herbologist, after all.”
“I’m sure he’d love to come here someday,” Clara said. “His landscaping project has gotten so big and busy now.”
Barnaby nodded, tracing his thumb over her cheek, the light contact making her shiver. “I don’t know how I got so lucky,” he murmured. “Seeing you, befriending you, and then dating you...the saviour of not only Hogwarts, but of my own tainted past.” He carefully stepped back, his hand diving into something in his back pocket. “And I hope you’ll always...always, be my saviour in everything.”
“What...”
A hand suddenly flew to her mouth as she saw him kneel before her, opening a red velvet box to reveal a simple ring, in-laid with a ruby in the center of a small ring of little diamonds.
“Clara Lin, will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”
So this was the mission, wasn’t it? To come all this way to see her friends and get proposed on the same day? She felt all eyes from her other friends stare at her, eager tension arising in the vicinity. She felt her heart melting at the sight of the boy she loved so much proposing with the same enthusiasm as he did asking her to the Ball so many years ago, the feeling of elation replacing the worry that prevailed for so long.
How could she say no?
“Barnaby...yes!” Clara cried. “Yes. Yes, I will!”
And as he slipped the ring onto her finger, and as the others cheered in celebration, Clara knew this moment was definitely too good to be true.
Guess it was a good thing Mad-Eye tasked her to come here, after all.
