Happy 30th Birthday, Princess Rajwa!

28 April 2024 marks the 30th birthday of Princess Rajwa Al Hussein.

Born on April 28, 1994, in Riyadh, Her Royal Highness is the daughter of the late Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saif, and Mrs. Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Sudairi, who is the younger sister of Faisal, Nayef, and Dana.

Last year on June 1, Princess Rajwa married His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.

She received her secondary education in Saudi Arabia and pursued higher education at Syracuse University's College of Architecture in New York, USA. She holds a degree in visual communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in the USA.

Her hobbies include horse riding, drawing, designing handicrafts, and creating engineering and artistic designs using digital media software. She is fluent in English and French.

Zenaida Anaxas is the only child of Sophia Anaxas, the Archon of Velantis, and her consort, Sandro. Born to a life of privilege, Zenaida had the world at her fingertips. As she has no siblings, she was her mother’s sole heir and she began training to inherit her duties at a young age. However, she had no interest in politics and quickly began to resent the pressure placed on her by her mother and her House.

Her powerful capacity for Preservation magic made her a desirable recruit for the Guild of Mages. Seeking an alternative to the life she was born into, Zenaida accepted an offer to train and study at Diradan Tower, much to her mother’s horror. She excelled in her studies and rapidly climbed through the ranks, eventually obtaining the position of savant.

Zenaida maintains a close bond with the Markal twins, Nova (a fellow savant) and Malsara (her bodyguard and lover). She has never supported Sabien Quirinus’s ideologies. Her fears of where he could lead the Guild eventually led her to join the Order of Lethalis.

Umbria Bellaris is an archsage of the Guild of Mages and the leader of the Order of Lethalis. Despite her quiet and reserved demeanour, she has been considered unusual by her colleagues due to her unorthodox approach to magic and research. As one of Diradan Tower’s most skilled graduates, she rapidly climbed through the ranks and made a name of herself. She is relatively untested as a teacher, having taught only two apprentices in her career.

Before the tower explosion, Umbria’s research investigated new forms of curative magic and ways to resuscitate the clinically dead. She began this research while studying under Sabien Quirinus, her former mentor.
