Iterator puppets do not host the majority of the supercomputer's consciousness/function, but they consist of most of the sensory input. Sort of like our hands; much of our physical touch sense is tied to our fingertips.

THATS WHAT IM SAYING !!!!!!!!! their puppets are merely just something physical to be interacted with and not the majority of the iterator!! they're an entire box for a reason

Hey guys i have a question how do your offstring iterators even eat?? If they are even capable of eating? Do they have mouths?absorb energy? Have some kind of a sunction tube to eat?

bridget's yoyo design is bizarre

Bridget is probably the most popular figure that actively plays with a yoyo in public media. But she has an. extremely weird, unconventional and impractical design in every way.

First you need to understand yoyos. For context, here are the 3 major modern yoyo types. Far left is a classic 1A yoyo. On the far right is a 2A Looping yoyo. The middle one is a 4A offstring yoyo.

The 1A yoyo is designed for string tricks where the yoyo frequently lands on and touches different parts of the string, it's wide and flailed to make that easy. The 4A yoyo does the same, but the string isn't attached and it's bigger for more error compensation. The 2A yoyo rarely if not ever lands on or touches other parts of the string, and is very narrow and slim because of that, it loops around at the end of the string.

Bridget's yoyo is a 4A sized 2A shaped yoyo. It is huge, but it's slim and narrow so you can't land it on the string for a long time. But it's also colossal and HEAVY, meaning it can't properly loop either.

Now of course it's guilty gear so magic makes it work and stuff, but still, this would handicap her severely when playing normally.

And it does!!

In her animation where she does a trick, she does the elevator. A super basic beginner trick; and you can't even blame her because that's probably like the only thing you can do on this scrap!!

Please give bridget a proper yoyo or make this one cool and teach her actually cool tricks. Please

Look she’s still heavily wip but I’ll give you some random scraps:

- they are a) a lesbian and b) on t. this isn’t important information or anything I just felt like sharing it

- I’d have to check this but I’m like 80% sure the Irish necromancer temple (is there only one??? the one that features in the books at least) is in a cemetery. do y’all know how many fucking bugs are in a cemetery she would be having the time of her life whenever she’s hanging around there

- Their favourite insects are death’s head hawk moths, deathwatch beetle (fun fact these are wood burrowing beetles and sometimes can cause issues for churches), and pretty much all corpse fauna

- She’ll change the lil shadow antennae to resemble different insects’, and they move with their mood :]

- (related) sometimes they’ll have mandibles instead of antennae, and/or have the shiny as blacked out bug eyes

- ok I’m done talking about bugs now I promise

- one more thing actually. she wanted to see if she could make spider web esque patterns with her yo-yo and failed miserably

- speaking of the yoyo. the string itself is what’s the shadow-thing, and the yoyo isnt attached to it (offstring yoyoing, give it a google it’s cool as shit. also listen to nothing I say I know very little about yoyos)

okok here's some of my slugcat stuff!!! a bit of a read but i got silly

aerial slugcats [name pending]

wings are their own gene, every aerial slugcat has it, save for the unique cases where they aren't born with them. there are traits that slugcats with a recessive wing gene can have if they do not show wings, such as;

feathers on their body

feather streamers

tail feathers

carnivorous slugcats

despite their name, carnivorous slugcats are not actually slugcats - instead an iterator-created species to serve as messengers. while they do appear as slugcats and can interbreed with them, they are a seperate species. they are made for much longer journeys and combat [some more than others] in case they need to travel far.

cavern slugcats

slugcats that naturally evolved to live in deep caves and tunnels, with the ability to dig through certain types of rock. they are leathery unlike other slugcats, and have scales down their back and on other parts of their body.

there is a 89% chance of a cavern slugcat sporting the bioluminescence gene visibly; it is on occasion used for communication, but most tend to make sounds by tapping on rocks.

certain cavern slugcats have a quill gene, which causes quills to grow on them

certain colonies of cavern slugcats sport a membrane wing gene, where their wings are alike a bat's instead of being feathered. this is also its own gene, and can co-exist and mix with a feathered wing gene

geode slugcats

geode slugcats are an engineered species of slugcat, using the cavern slugcats as a base. they have crystals growing on them, which is its own gene.

when not sporting crystals, a slugcat carrying a recessive crystal gene will 96% of the time sport some sort of iridescence or glittery and/or metallic fur

unstable gene

the unstable gene is an iterator-created phenomenon. it is caused by an iterator messing around a bit too much with a slugcat's genome due to how malleable slugcat genome is, and usually, will not show, instead being recessive. when an unstable gene carrier has offstring, the unstable gene will usually attach itself to a specific thing, such as colors or a wing gene, and make it look unusual. a winged slugpup with a visible unstable gene can end up with multiple sets of wings in extreme cases, or displaced wings, such as on the tail, arms or head in mild cases. when an unstable gene affects colors, it can cause them to be extremely vibrant and splotchy. this depends on the individual, and seems random.

oough hard to pick but I think my (many) top recs would be these:

- Leaving Only Rust Behind : primarily Pebbles-centric caterators fic. I really like the way this one was written, just very good for me to picture things for it!! also I have drawn some art based on it here. Currently has an in the works Moon-centric sequel called From Rust We Rise as well

- Out of Our Skin : Offstring fic, has to be one of my favorite fics due to the writing style, in-au lore, and the character interactions. Also has some lovely artwork to go along with the chapters! It is a very long one, though, and not finished yet.

- A Computer's Bug : HK/RW crossover (hornet isekai into rw world), Hornet x LTTM centric fic. I know that premise is really silly, but I've grown to really love it. Not finished yet

- Two Weeds in a Bouquet of Flowers : Offstring ragequit (nsh/fp) centric fic. the gay people the gay people the gay people I am not normal about ragequit, actually. Anyways. Very highly recommend if you like ragequit

- Finding Survivor : Half Monk, half Pebbles POV, modern(ish) au, mystery. definitely not for everyone, a fair amount of horror and stuff here, just heed the tags going into it.

- Also, not one specific fic in particular but I quite like all of OnionAtHeart's RW fics, can't decide on just one for the list here and I've been meaning to draw something for multiple of them for a while now, just rhat motivation is fickle

a few more honorable mentions that Im only naming because it's 1 in the morning as of me writing and queuing this and this post is long enough as it is:
