NOTES — i added a little bit of champagne problems with dilucs second part, i hope you don't mind :")) and i also decided to split this in half since its getting long. oh and every character has two scenarios each, the others are on the part two.

“I walked through the door with you, the air was cold. But something 'bout it felt like home somehow.”

Snezhnaya was cold, you thought. It was a whole new environment for you after living in liyue for your whole life. But seeing CHILDE's smile and excitement somehow made the coldness dissapear in an instant.

He have always wanted to take you here, in his homeland, and now, it is finally happening. He can't help but grin widely at the thought of his family finally meeting you after knowing you from his letters.

“You seem happy, 'jax.” He turned to look at you before letting out a small laugh. His cheeks were rosy pink from excitement and coldness.

“I am definitely happy! I can't wait for you to meet my parents and siblings. Im sure they'll love you too!” He answered as he held your hand and warm them up then fix your coat.

Just the thought of meeting his family got you all nervous. But when you finally met them, all of the worries seems to fade away as they happily welcomed you. Asking you questions and telling stories about the younger Ajax.

You feel loved and warm by his family. They're full of bright people.

Ajax smiled to himself as he watched you chattering with his family. He leaned on the door and let out a sigh of relief.

This is what he want, for you to be one with his family.

“Oh, your disposition and my wide-eyed gaze. We're singing in the car getting lost upstate.”

KAZUHA is an awestruck prose. He seemed to be always held your heart captive whenever he open his oh so sweet lips, and he seem surreal to you.

He can always make you feel fine in a second, and he always go with the flow with you like right now, he hums along the song that is playing in your shared earphones while you sing quitely under your breath. He finds it adorable as he continued humming along the tune with you. He wished the moment to last more.

“And I know its long gone and that magic's not here no more and i might be okay, but I'm not fire at all.”

Your relationship with the calvary captain, KAEYA, has ended weeks ago, the reason for the said separation is falling out of love... He said.

You don't want him to feel forced in this relationship that's why you chose to let him go and be free on his own.

Your sudden break up with the young man has caused a gossip in the city. After all, he is very well known and your relationship with him was not that really private. Everyone just seem to find out and neither of you denied it.

For days and weeks, people keep asking you ‘why did you break up’ and ‘are you okay?’ You can only nod at them for them stop asking you already because you were getting tired telling people that you're okay.

truth to be told, you might be okay but you're not fine at all.

You also don't know why he suddenly proposed a break up with you. You don't believe that he just fall out of love like that. There must be a deeper reason behind it that he won't tell you.

“Cause there we are again on that the town street. You almost ran the red 'cause you were lookin' over me.”

DILUC was always clumsy when it comes to you. He seem to cant take his eyes off you. Even now, he didn't noticed that the traffic light went red already. He only stepped on the break when you shouted at him to.

He apologized many times to you and promised to be more careful. You can only laugh at the blushing red-haired man and pinched his cheeks which made him burning red.

“I'll accept your apology once you stop looking at me while driving, okay?”

That one... he can't promise.

“Photo album on the counter, your cheeks were turning red. You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin-sized bed. And your mother's telling stories 'bout you on the tee-ball team.”

THOMA's cheeks turned red when he saw you focusing on the photo album that his mom showed you. He sighed before sitting beside you while he placed the tray that contains snacks on the table.

“Are you done looking at it?” He asked as he closed the photo album and placed it on the table.

“Oh come on! I wasn't even done!” You exclaimed at him.

“It's embarrassing, okay?” He murmured while he took a bite of cookies that his mother made and subconsciously pouted at you which made you coo at him.

“What's there to be embarrassed about? You're adorable as a child!” You protested as you opened the photo album again and pointed at the picture of him grinning widely with his rosy chubby cheeks at five years old. “Look!”

He shook his head and continued eating while trying to calm down his pacing heart and flushed cheeks.

“Oh dear, do you want me to tell you the story of when he cried because his plant died and how he tried to revive it at the age six years old?” His mom entered the view and smirked at you and your lover.

“Ma!”

“Really!? Please do!”

“You told me 'bout your past thinking your future was me.”

When DILUC told you about his past, he was sure that he loves you beyond anything and all he really wants is to have a future with you in it.

He let you see the vulnerable and broken parts of him that he never let anyone see, except you. He wants to be bare open to you about everything about him; his life and him. He believes that being true to your lover is one of the fundamentals of a happy future.

He is happy with you. He loves you. He wants a future with you in it. Everything was already planned and all he needs to do is to ask your hand for a marriage.

But what he didn't expect is for you to ask him to separate ways. You told him there were alot of things that needs to be fixed and that includes you.

You believed that you're unworthy for him after hearing about his past. You believed that there is someone that can heal him and that someone isn't you. You saw as his world slowly revolves around you to the point that he can—and will—sacrifice his life for your eternal happiness.

And you don't want that. You don't want him to lose his life for someone like you... But now, it is slowly happening.

Unbeknownst to you, you didn't see that you are his last hope. That you are more than important to him. That you are his eternal happiness. That you are the one who keeps him sane. That... you are his life.

With you, everything is possible.

However, none of it matters right now as you dropped his hand and left him out there standing as crestfallen slowly lands on him...

ALBEDO can only have himself to blame for everything that happened to you. He blamed himself for allowing a relationship to sprout between you two. He blamed himself for not giving you enough time and love. He blamed himself for not paying attention on you. He blamed himself for neglecting you a lot of times.

He blamed himself for losing control...

The times that you tried to reach out to him after realizing that your relationship is slowly crumbling. The times that you were left sobbing at his outrage and ignorance. But you endured it all because that's always how Albedo is. You kept everything to yourself.

He regretted it. He regretted it all as he now held your lifeless body that he caused. He shouted and screamed for you to wake up. But you never did...

Everyone watched as he continued to lose control of himself more that is about to destroy mondstadt; to destroy everything as no one can stop him now that he lost you by his own hands.

He killed you, and he can't forgive himself even if he repented and atoned for the things he did to you.

“And I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to.”

Loving XIAO was something that you told yourself you won't forget, ever. He was an enigma that you wanted to know. You are a curious being that pestered him every day.

He would have treasured you dearly if everything was at the right timing. He would have given you enough time if he only knew you'll forget him soon too as you grew older and older each day; your hair turning gray as wrinkles started appearing on your face in a blur.

He always keeps his eye on you even though he is slowly slipping out of your memories. Old age is making it hard for you to remember the sacred times you shared.

And when the time came that you asked for his name and who he is, he just knows this feeling is worst than his karmic debt.

To hate is something he can accept, but to forget... That is even worse than losing you. He wished that you hated and resented him instead.

Forgetting him is forgetting the love you had.

“'Cause there we are again in the middle of the night. We're dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light. Down the stairs, I was there, I remember it all too well.”

THOMA is everything you could have asked for. He is the type that everyone will want as their loyal and doting husband. That's why you feel so lucky to have him by your side.

It was 3 am when you and thoma decided to bake together. You opened the fridge open to gather some ingredients when you heard both of your favorite song started playing in the background. You glanced behind your back and saw him smiling at you. He reached out his hand to you.

“May you give me the pleasure of dancing with you?” He giggled. You can't help but do the same and gently placed your hand on his.

“I would love to,” You uttered.

It was then when the both of you got lost in the moment, forgetting the placed ingredients and bowls on the counter. Dancin’ and smiling like fools as you two laughed and twirl around the kitchen.

You won't ever forget how Thoma beamed as the refrigerator light shone behind him. You don't want this to end. You want to be with him like this for ever and ever.

“And there we are again when nobody had to know. You kept me like a secret, but I kept you like an oath.”

Being with AYATO was hell upon heaven. Happiness exist, of course, but only behind closed doors. He was a venom, but he's also an elixir. He's a sin but a blessing at the same time. His attention was short-lived but worth it everytime. Just one touch from him and you're gone... Softly melting into his fingers.

However, having an affair with him behind everyone's back was not that easy either. Your times with him are always limited and scheduled. And you can't see how much it's damaging you. You can't see how much you've become desperate for him.

The only thing you know is that he consumes your heart, body, mind, and soul. You were ready to fall from grace for him. Everything else won't matter anymore to you if you have this thing between you and him to last for eternity, to be seen by everyone, and for you to freely shout that he is yours and you are his.

But since when did you start thinking that he is yours?

You were always his, but he will never be yours. Your heart is his to keep. His heart isn't yours to feel.

Thinking too much is slowly making you out of your rationality. You watched as he happily conversed with a fair noble lady. You watched how he smiled and complimented her. You watched as he tried to make her smile and laugh with a few jokes here and there.

The flower he gave you earlier crumpled at your raging fist. Your heart was beating faster and you couldn't think straight. The jealousy was eating you up.

Just as you were about to storm towards them and make a scene. Another noble approached you and started a conversation. You didn't have a choice but to engage in and set all the feelings aside.

Later that night as everyone was seated around the big dining table. You were seated on Ayato's left side as an idea came into you that will prove if he's really committed to this thing between you two and if he can take risks and sacrifices for you.

You gathered courage as your right hand slowly approached his left hand that is resting on the table. Just as you are about to fully take his fingers, he smoothly brushed them off by using that same hand to grab his cup.

You felt your heart slowly shattered at this actions. You immediately drew back your hand to grab your chopsticks to eat. As you were chewing the food, you felt your eyes watered and you excused yourself. Ayato didn't even bother to send you a glance as you went out with a broken heart.

It was then that you realized that you are the only one who's willing to go far for this thing between you and him to progress. You cherished him, and he does too, he said, but not much as you do.

To him, maybe you're just a thing; an affair to be kept as a secret. But to you, this is love. He is the love that you oathed for.

what if reader and an acolyte shared a birthday?

10000% self indulgent. I've had the thought of sharing a birthday with an acolyte for a hot minute now due to the fact that Diluc and I share a birthday. And now that our birthday has finally come around I decided to write about it! Happy birthday Diluc and to anyone else out there that shares our birthday!!!!!

Warnings: Cult behaviors, fluffy, Diluc isn't exactly fond of reader but doesn't hate them either

The festival left a bitter taste in his mouth. It had ever since he was a kid. Sugary snacks and the creator's favorite cakes out on display did nothing to him, in fact it merely made him scrunch his nose in distaste.

It was the same thought every year, nobody cared to celebrate his birthday because of you. Because the all-creator was born this day. It should be an honor to be blessed with creation, to be so closely intertwined and favored by the creator to share a birthday with them. He was chosen is what everybody would tell him.

Except this day was never his special day. Not like he needed it anymore, birthdays stopped having meaning when he was quite young, however he still had bitter memories of it from when he was young.

His eyes caught onto kids blowing dandelions, making birthday wishes to the All-Creator. His maroon eyes held distaste, briskly walking back into his house. He was seen around the festival, he bought a little cake for himself, and now he could say he did the bare minimum. He could go home now without Kaeya and whoever else on his back about worshipping the creator.

Before he even realized it, he sat at his desk in Dawn Winery. With a quill in his dominant hand, he hesitated for a moment before beginning to write a letter to the traveler - your first vessel - as it had become customary.

The letter had derailed quickly, filling up the entire page in slightly messy handwriting. Honestly, the whole thing was unbecoming of him. Being so affected by this and then writing his feelings out in a letter. It all felt so... wrong. With a grim glare, he held the letter he had wrote, and it erupted into flames.

Midnight struck and in your cozy home, you smiled as your device showed the date April 30th. A message popped up at the top of your screen, and you immediately knew what it was.

You eagerly went to see the letter sent by Diluc but was shocked to see how long it was.

With furrowed brows and eagerness in your stomach, you started reading:

Dear Traveler,

Today is not only my birthday, but yours as well. I have no doubt it is a joyous day considering all you have done for Teyvat. However... today is also the day the All-Creator blessed the Earth. The day their human vessel took form for the first time. It's a common legend, perhaps you've heard of it?

Well, either way, festivals are held on this day. Grand and full of splendor and things the All-Creator adores. I've always been seen as blessed to share this day with them but... it doesn't feel like I'm sharing. Ever since I was a child they overshadowed my birthday, and then so much happened as a kid. It made me ponder, if there was truly a merciful god, why would they allow such things to happen? If there were such thing as a god, why would they not grace us with their presence? Why not celebrate their birthday with us? Why not allow me to have this day as well?

Perhaps my ramblings sound like that of a madman, and perhaps they are. I doubt you could understand my plight as the hero of Teyvat. I'm sure everyone celebrates your existence no matter the circumstances.

Perhaps if my father were still around he would celebrate with me. Perhaps if I had done things differently.

It's all in the past now. This day is no longer my joyous day, but even still, I hope you have a good day. May all your wishes come true. If you wish to celebrate with me, I'll be at Dawn WInery as usual. I can get you some sparkling grape juice and we can have a meal we'd both enjoy for our birthday. If you so wish though it's fine if you don't show up. I've sent along a special ticket for Dawn Winery. Just give it to anyone at the Winery and they'll give you the food and gift I've prepared. Even if you don't want it, I merely ask you make use of it. Give it away or hold onto it if you so wish.

For a moment, you merely stared at the screen, your jaw slack from shock. What the hell was his man going on about?

Lore-wise, had Kaeya managed to get him drunk on his birthday? Was that Hoyoverse's explanation for the bullshit he was spewing. But even then, none of this had been explained before hand. Who was this All-Creator? Why was Diluc acting so odd in the letter?

What was happening?

You mulled the thoughts over in your head as you pulled up the character screen, staring at Diluc. Whether he was important to your or not was irrelevant at the moment, he was your birthday buddy and he had just sent you a very odd letter. Did Hoyoverse put in the effort to have exclusive letters for if you and another character shared a birthday? Surely not. They can barely give you some scraps of food for their birthdays, much less exclusive gifts and letters.

Then you remembered the gift Diluc had mentioned. You checked your backpack for it and, sure enough, there was a special ticket.

"Dawn Winery VIP Ticket." You muttered, "A gift from Diluc on his and yours birthday. Turn it in at Dawn Winery and maybe you'll get something special. Diluc mentioned a meal and a gift in his letter."

You hummed, your brows furrowed, staring intently at the screen. As though if you scrunched up your nose and stared suspiciously at the ticket for long enough it'd give you the answers you were looking for.

After a minute of this, you roughly sighed and shrugged, exiting out of the backpack and going to your party set up. It was Diluc's birthday, so you might as well go to Dawn Winery with him.

A chuckle bubbled up in the back of your throat at the thought of Hoyoverse actually implementing a birthday activity with one of the characters. Now that was wishful thinking. But still, you could pretend. Plus, at the very least, maybe the ticket could get you some cool item or recipe.

So, with Diluc as the leader of your party, you made your way to Dawn Winery.

He felt your presence within him, urging him to run run run to the winery. Jumping down cliffs with agility and speed he never knew a mortal such as him could posses until your hand graced him.

It's the same thing each and every acolyte experiences. But he was surprised to see you so eagerly posses his body and use him to sprint as fast as possible to the winery. Were you really that excited to see what he had prepared? He didn't think you'd even care. You had never cared all of his other birthdays, where he had to celebrate alone. Where you overshadowed any and all birthday wishes he could have ever received.

So why now were you so interested in his little gift? Was it selfishness? Curiosity? Surely such a noble and supreme god such as yourself couldn't care for such trivial mortal matters. That's why all of he others whom had sent letters with offers to spend their precious time with you never got anything. You'd never shown up, too busy with godly duties or whatever their excuse was to save face. It had become standard practice by now to offer it up and for you to not show up.

So why now? Why his birthday were you rushing to turn in the ticket, with him as well?

Self-centeredness perhaps? The fact that it was your birthday and perhaps that's why you're rushing to celebrate his birthday. Nothing else mattered unless it's centered around you. At least that's the conclusion he came to. It's the only one that made sense to him.

You made it to the Winery with a pep in your step. It was then that you realized that there wasn't a specific person you were told to hand it to.

You roughly sighed, realizing that it was indeed another null note that meant nothing.

"Curse you Hoyoverse." You frowned, comically shaking your fist.

You shrugged and headed in anyways. Might as well pay a visit it Elzer and the ugly ass model the poor man got cursed with, and also a teeny tiny part of you was just a tad hopeful.

You cringed back when you saw his model, remembering how the manga had depicted him and now... he just had an ugly npc model.

You clicked on the speak option and the screen went black.

"Hello there your grace!" Text popped up where it usually would, under the name of Elzer, "Is there something you'd like to give me perhaps...?" He trailed off as though he already knew why you had came here, and your inventory popped up.

For a minute, you sat there in stunned silence. Staring at the black screen, your backpack, and then the words. Your grace. He'd said.

For a moment, fear struck your heart. Then realization hit you, "Oh!" You laughed it off, "Right, Elzer calls Diluc his grace." You shook your head at how you'd freaked out. The black screen was probably another glitch.

Still, it was a bit odd that he was referring to Diluc in particular. What if you had been a different character? What if you didn't even have Diluc?

"Hoyoverse? Putting effort into their game? Aha-" You chuckled, shaking your head and clicking on the only lit up item in your inventory. The ticket from Diluc's letter.

"Ah! The ticket from the master!" Elzer said, "Thank you for this, I'm sure the master will be delighted. Please, come this way, your grace."

Something was off... was Elzer... speaking directly to you? He was mentioning Diluc so that meant he wasn't talking to him... why was he calling you your grace?

Your head spun, the loading screen popped up and your body went slack. The only thing you could hear was the Dawn Winery music and then slowly... the smell of alcohol.

"Ladies and gentlemen D.C.K.Z!" The announcer drags out the last letter and hyped-up screams fill the air as the stage illuminates and the atmosphere goes lively. A thing that only the most popular boy band in the world can do. Your boyfriend's band!

He sent you the management's invitation to their band a few months ago and you can't help but flood the chat with texts of happiness. They have been on tour and you're busy with shoots so you two haven't met in a long while.

What makes this more special is that you will be wearing the fantasy bra this year! A bra adorned with jewels and crystals wore by the chosen Angel in the roster. You never really knew what's the purpose of sticking gems on a bra but hey it looks good!

Him: "Why do I feel like fucking you in that?" You laugh at his text after sending him a selfie with the million-dollar bra.

And now after months of preparation, the day has finally come with you and other models dressed extravagantly while lined up. Compliments were thrown your way here and there as the staff takes the utmost care for you.

"Yeah! Yeah!" The music starts playing and your heart jumps at the voice of your boyfriend saying just a few words. It was enough to comfort you and you can't help but smile at his enthusiasm on the tv.

Soon everyone is positioned and the backstage atmosphere has changed in a mix of nervousness and excitement. "Go!" The organizer motions for Miko and you clap your hands as you see her gracefully exiting and entering the stage.

His bandmate starts the song and models exit the stage one after another as the song progresses.

It's finally your turn! You take a deep breath and exit the stage carrying the aura of a confident woman.

Childe raises his eyebrows playfully shocked at the sight before him and takes your hand while singing his part. You laugh at his antics and continue to look forward while walking with him. He swings your hands together and points at you while walking, showing you off to everybody as if saying 'this is my girlfriend'.

And you want to steer But I'm shifting gears I'll take it from here, yeah

He lets you go for you to take the spotlight and you swing your hips while walking, leg in front of the other switching, hands placed on your waist and you're finally near the center of the stage.

You pose sticking your neck out slightly and parting your lips for that sexy pose you've been rehearsing in front of a mirror. Then Childe comes up to you, arm around your waist, hand on your chin; then faces your head to him and kisses you on the lips in front of live tv.

The audience screams for the umpteenth time that night and you are very very shocked because the balls to this! Your cheeks heat up from the happiness and you turn your back to the audience, walking backstage.

Before you reach the entrance of the backstage. he sends you a wink and you blow him a kiss while he reunites with his bandmates and you with your colleagues. A warm feeling stays in your heart throughout the night and it's because of him.

Twitter is definitely gonna go wild

You come out of the backstage and Kaeya makes the fuckboy face with his hand on his chin, face contorted, lip bit; the audience laughs with you because he looks like the handsome squidward but he quickly returns to his normal face full of admiration for the girl he's holding hands with.

I don't need to try to control you Look into my eyes and I'll own you

Kaeya nods at you sexily and racks his eyes up and down your body together with the lyrics, owning and marking your body as his. He lets go of your hand and you pose pushing your hair back, showing off your neck, and leans slightly to the left with a fierce look.

Then Kaeya comes up behind you and he slaps your ass on live tv. That's not the only thing he does. He fucking affectionately placed his hand behind your ear only to nibble on your lower lip. What a tease; and the audience who enjoy the show whistles and hollers, others who are getting sick of pda sat with a passive look.

Kaeya has his arm around your shoulder while you walk back, he blows a kiss to you and you roll your eyes at him before turning away. He doesn't mind it because he knows you're smiling after that. Kaeya continues the song and almost bursts out in laughter after seeing the face on Diluc.

Diluc

Diluc who is very not into pda is very bold tonight and you wonder why. Maybe he's so fired up seeing you like that? That's what you were thinking as you go to the stage.

You wanna know, how to make me smile? Take control, own me just for the night

The tone of the song changes and the atmosphere turns mellow and calm. Diluc smiles hugely at seeing you and your fingers are entwined immediately like magnets. The camera zoomed on Diluc's love-stricken face and Kaeya can't help but cover his mouth and look down, trying hard not to be hysterical.

And if I share my secret Nobody else can see this

It's not hard to force a smile, unlike the past shows where you weren't dating him before. Everything is just natural with Diluc around. He looks at you from time to time because he can't take his eyes off you.

Nobody else can see this

He prolongs the last word while looking at you, he stops walking and you continue to walk towards the center. Hands resting on your waist, you tilt your head, wink, and smile. After that, Diluc walks over to you while singing and kisses you on the cheek.

Your friends scream the loudest and you shyly lower your head and go back hand in hand with Diluc. He gives you a smile full of meaning and you know he's proud of what you accomplished tonight. You smile back at him and wave before parting with each other.

Diluc returns to the main stage and his mood turns sour upon seeing Kaeya and Childe's knowing look. He reminds himself not to portray violence on live tv.

DIluc was singing the previous verse while Zhongli faces the entrance of the backstage like it's a wedding. He kisses the back of your palm and gives you a pink rose as you exit and a murmur of 'aww's fills the venue.

Nobody else can see this yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

You walk hand in hand with him and you've never seen Zhongli so energetic before and it boosts you up to strike your best pose for him. He lets you go and bows down, hand stretching out to you while you walk to the center and pose.

And it goes like this Take me by the tongue and I'll know you Kiss me 'til you're drunk and I'll show you

You take the rose and look at it, held between your hands while the fan moves your hair. You look up and smile, the audience claps and shouts because you truly look like an angel. A certain someone places a hand on your waist and presses a kiss to the side of your head. The screaming gets louder and claps double the amount.

Going back, Zhongli only smiles at you because his plan works and you close your eyes and kiss the rose, messaging him a thank you and an I love you.

Genshin Boys With A Dense Crush (Part 2)

Here is part 2~ so, the reason why I didn't include Bennett and Razor is the fact that I can never write for them, like IDK why but its just very hard for me. So yeah, sorry about that. Part 1 (Albedo, Childe and Diluc)

Chongyun

Dense + Dense = more dense

It was painfully obvious that Chongyun likes you but for some reason, he can’t quite figure that out for himself

But everyone around them knows

Xingqiu is actually on the road to writing a book about the two of you

Xiangling, Xinyan, Hu Tao, and Yan Fei are betting on how long until Chongyun realizes his feelings

Chongyun doesn’t know why he likes to see you every day, wants to have meals with you, and why he gets uncomfortable when he sees you with another person and smiling at them

Maybe it was the work of g-

“Oh I like them” -Chongyun one day when he woke up

He consulted his best friend Xingqiu about this and Xingqiu just placed his books down and said “dear archons finally, it was getting very painful to watch”

So the two started planning a cute little confession scenario

Somewhere Xinyan and Yan Fei are crying because they lost the best but Yan Fei is arguing that betting was illegal and has no ground in the law… Yan Fei, you betted with your conscience please stop

Anyway!

The pair of best friends decided to go with a simple type of confession because less is more in Xingqiu’s books

It was going so well, a cute dinner and all of that

“I like you Y/N, can we be more than that?”

Oh is that Xingqiu, Xiangling, Xinyan, Hu Tao, and Yan Fei spying on both of you from the bushes? Why, yes indeed.

“You want to be best friends Chongyun? But don’t you have Xingqiu as your best friend already?” - you with your ever so innocent voice and expression

Chongyun is frozen in place

Xingqiu, Xiangling, Xinyan, Hu Tao and Yan Fei are betting again this time how many times will Chongyun get a friendzone

He can’t take your dense nature anymore

This is Kaeya after all everything he does allude to something so WHY WON'T YOU GET IT STILL

“Oh, Kaeya? You like someone!? Can you introduce me to them?” - you asking excitedly upon hearing his and Rosaria’s conversation

Kaeya was pretty sure he was describing you

Rosaria is holding back her laugh, she can't breathe… SOMEONE SAVE HER

“I love them but this dense attitude is too much!” - Kaeya as he slams his fist on top of Diluc’s bar

“Have you tried wooing them?” - Diluc as his wiping a glass down, he's so nonchalant about this situation LMAO

“HAVE I TRIED?” - Kaeya sounding very offended

“How about getting a white bed sheet and painting “will you marry me Y/N” on it?” - Rosaria

“Yeah, they leave me no ch-”

“Sit down, don’t embarrass yourself like a child” - Diluc pushing his brother down to sit

“HOW WILL I GET MY FEELINGS ACROSS THOUGH!”

“Just confess, normally… like… a normal person” - Diluc

Kaeya decided that in two days time he was going to confess to you, two days because he needed to make sure it was perfect

But the moment he saw you laughing with some random guy all the planning was thrown out the window

“Meet me in front of the church when the sun rises” - Kaeya to you when he passes by you at the corridor of the headquarters

When you arrived, he made you stand at the flight of stairs in front of the church while he went down

He kneeled with his right knee touching the ground and he pulled a very neatly folded white sheet from his pocket

He unraveled it and wrote, “WILL YOU MARRY ME Y/N?”

But even before you can react a thunderous shouting can be heard and a chuckle

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!? I SAID CONFESS NORMALLY!” -Diluc

Thoma

I’m going to try but still little info on this new pyro husband

Thoma is a very understanding boy

He likes you so much that he's willing to wait

But damn has he been waiting long

He decided he was going to confess to you today as well!

Every time this happens Thoma stress eats.

Barbatos aka Venti the Bard has been singing a lot of love songs lately

Especially when you were in the audience watching

He always likes your smile especially when you were watching him

So when the two of you were strolling around near the church of Monstad

He decided that he was going to confess today

Years of being alone and he finally get what Vanessa told him about meeting the right person

“Y/N, I love you-”

“Aww, Venti, I love you too!”

“Really?!” - Venti very excitedly

Diluc wants to kick him out but Venti is Monstad’s archon so he decided against it

Venti hears your voice and because his drunk his happy instead of upset

He throws himself at you in an attempt of a sloppy hug

Xiao

When Xiao first had these feelings he was confused

He lived a long life and this was the first time in his life where when he sees someone his chest becomes constricted and warm

“Xiao! Do you like traveler!?” - you excitedly

Xiao felt a tightening in his chest not that good type but am i being stab right now type of tightening

His answer would usually be along the lines of no and he can’t have relationships with mortals

He usually has a lot more patience with you compared to others but hearing you say that he looks good with someone else just made something in him snap

He didn’t mean to shout at you nor did he mean it when he said you should leave him alone

That’s why he's waiting for you at Wangshun Inn, his loneliness grew into worry when after 2 days you weren’t back yet

Upon eavesdropping around he also found out that no one has seen you and your last known location was Mt. Hulao and he immediately began to worry because that place was prohibited to humans

“Are you looking for someone?” - Mountain Sharper appeared behind Xiao as he reached the top of Mt. Hulao. “Are you looking for a mortal perhaps?”

“How did-”

“-That mortal is pretty noisy, they don’t stop talking and they know you.”

Oh, the warm feeling in his chest is back because they were talking about him which means that they weren’t angry at him!

“Where are they!?” Xiao would realize and I swear to you his ready to break every amber rock around Mt.Hulao

“Calm down, they are currently collecting Qingxin flowers”

Right on cue, “XIAO!? IS THAT YOU!?” he heard your voice from behind him, when he saw you, he immediately rushes to you and hugs you

“What are you doing here!?” Xiao would ask, his voice was raised only because of relief

“Oh, I got lost! And Moon Sharper here saw me, we ended up chatting and I guess I forgot the time, he shared so many stories about y- WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE THAT ARE YOU HURT!?”

“I’m alright… I just… I m-miss…”

Moon Sharper is just looking at this scene and he knows he's about to spill the hottest tea next time the adeptus (idk plural form okay) have a dinner party

Xingqiu

At first glance, it might look like that he isn’t affected at all

But internal his boiling

He decided to pull his last technique from his sleeves

Zhongli

Zhongli, Rex Lapis aka Morax has lived thousands of years

Yet this is the first time he encountered someone so dense at first he taught you were just kidding and pretending but when he described what he likes in someone which was pertaining to you

You simply said “WOW THEY SOUND WONDERFUL AND YOU MUST REALLY LIKE THEM BECAUSE YOU SOUND SO IN LOVE” at his face with genuine awe, there was no sign of you being flustered and whatnot

Hu Tao was there to witness this and the younger female had a good laugh when she witnessed this

Zhongli is now praying to Guizhong for help and patience

He first wondered if the reason for such behavior was because you dislike him but it wasn’t the case because you would always smile when you see him

Which makes his knees very weak

In heaven, all the dead gods are laughing at him

He has lived for so many years and yet he doesn’t know what to do because he wants to spend years with you

But a part of him says this isn’t right because his an immortal and you were a mortal, someday him being a former god would drive an enigma in the future

That’s why he was also hesitating on his part

“Zhongli, look-look! A merchant from Monstad gave me a Cecilia!” - you snapping him from his thought, he's a tall man so you had to tip-toe to put the flower in his hair

“There you look even prettier now!” - you smiling up to him

As you were withdrawing your hand, Zhongli grabs it and places it in front of his lips

childe is the golden maknae. he can sing, rap, dance, and more or less, do every single thing a kpop idol does perfectly. his talent and versatility often place him in the center.

he's very chaotic during lives. his face is placed in the dictionary right beside the words 'savage maknae'. also the type to twirk or slap ass playfully. y’all cant change my mind.

during their pre-debut days, childe pestered his hyungs to buy him meals and snacks even though they were still kinda broke.

it's not all bad though because he also spends the most for his hyungs. when their birthday comes, it's not unusual for them to wake up to a pile of extravagant gifts because childe's rich af.

he's the last member to join the group and everyone thought he was spoiled and snobbish because he wore branded stuff but in the end, they realize that childe's just a very fun kid.

he’s a cuddle bug and definitely his hyungs’ boy. he loves hugging and showing affection to his found family. you’d find him having an arm tossed around kaeya’s shoulders, slightly leaning on xiao or riding zhongli’s back.

diluc would never reciprocate because skinship is not his cup of tea while scaramouche is a ticking time bomb so those two are generally off limits.

no one would admit it but they’re all very soft for childe and his affection. the kid joined when he was still very young so they practically raised him. how can they not like him?

— xiao;

xiao is the main rapper. he spits fire and bars and he's just so charismatic. ladies and gents would fall at his feet with one glare at the camera.

xiao's also part of the dance line. he dances really well but he secretly hates doing it. not that he would ever complain.

xiao seems very distant at first and the whole group thought he hated their guts. turns out, he's just very sleepy and he dozes off very often.

he's very oblivious to a lot of things. the type to want to end the live but literally don't know how to so he ends up calling zhongli for help. his fans think it's so cute.

he’s very shy so you won’t find much selcas on twitter or instagram. but on concerts, he’s the most likely to tear up during the good byes. 

the fandom thing (like bts’s i purple you) probably came from him and an off handed comment he made while expressing his gratitude to the people who supported them from the beginning.

he’s very soft spoken which is such a contrast to his stage persona which is pretty much just grunge.

probably has the biggest fanbase without even trying.

— kaeya;

kaeya is the main dancer. he raps too but it's the slow rap. the one in between. the one that cools you down before it gets heated up once again.

he's so smooth at dancing though. he knows he's hot so on stage he pulls off the hip rolls and hip thrusts and his facial expressions are so borderline erotic that his fans are having a field fest every time new content pops up.

the edits. the fancams. all of them are just so suggestive and hot. search his name in youtube and you'll see so many 18+ 'kaeya x y/n - the secret love affair' stories.

he's so cocky too. he mocks the members for not being able to keep up with the dance. all in good fun though. no one takes it seriously anymore. why?

because he may be a teasing piece of shit but he's also very passionate. he'll make fun of the members for messing up the choreo but at the end of the day, he's going to stay up late with them to make sure they nail it the next day.

very patient and talented guy. 10/10

— scaramouche;

scaramouche is the main vocal. his voice is so angelic and soft and sweet but he also has the most aggressive and feral persona.

childe does unsolicited impressions a lot but he always glances at scaramouche to see if it's okay to do an impression of him.

but that's only on his bad days because they have no doubt that scaramouche will not hesitate to beat them up during his bad days.

on his good days, you'll hear a lot of jokes from the members about his height and how he's the worst dancer out of all of them.

he's a literal demon during the mornings and everyone is scared of him. the boys probably play rock-paper-scissors to decide which unlucky soul will wake him up.

he only gets slightly placated when he receives the good cup of coffee or tea that zhongli never fails to make.

he’s very controversial. you either love him or hate him. he’s the haters’ favorite to cancel. jokes on them, scaramouche loves the attention and often makes diss tracks for xiao and kaeya to sing.

they’re fucking bops.

— zhongli;

speaking of zhongli, he's the leader. the best leader. the only one who can actually rein in this very chaotic bunch of people.

he's so tired of them but he loves them.

he's so traumatized though because one time, they almost left xiao in the airport after he fell asleep while waiting for the flight.

now, he makes it his mission to count them before and after they board any vehicle. literally makes them raise their hands like a bunch of preschoolers.

ironically, he's the type to lose his passport and wallet which delays a lot of their schedule.

he's very well-spoken though so he takes charge during interviews and has very good taste in books, songs, etc. so his fans always ask him for recommendations. he never disappoints.

he's so rm that he probably gets invited to do a speech in the un too.

when he’s not doing leader things, he’s one of the three vocals. he mostly does harmonies but he’s the uncrowned king of ballads. his mature voice adds so much texture to the songs and the verses hit different when he sings them.

— diluc;

diluc is the other vocal. unlike scaramouche, his voice is deeper, huskier, grittier, and sexier. his voice rumbles in your ears and you can feel it in your bones.

it makes for great contrast because scaramouche is a lot more delicate. because of his vocal textures and godly adlibs, he probably reigns over the bridges.

when they're singing ballads though, oh boy... he's very breathy and you just feel every ounce of the emotion in his voice.

i have half the mind to believe that diluc composes some of their songs and is very active in the production process. venti, their producer, loves making him do the piano parts because he’s very good at it.

he’s the poor victim of a lot of childe's pranks and jokes. he hates it and is one second away from completely demolishing childe. too bad because their fans ship them and there are a whole lot of enemies-to-lovers fics on the internet.

he read one during his live and he had to cut it short because he couldn't stomach it.

childe was watching it and deadass busts the door open to tease a very annoyed and flustered diluc.

Barbara, and Bennett: Toxic Positivity (and how they each exude it)

While it's easy to spot negative toxic behavior, toxic positivity can be harder to recognize and pin down. In this blog, I am going to analyze 2 characters in Genshin and explain just how they show traits of toxic positivity. (I originally was going to include Jean, but I already covered her in an earlier blog so it'd just be redundant)

Barbara Page

Barbara is all smiles and sunshine, trying her best to ensure that everyone is happy. However; she does this to an unhealthy degree and often does not prioritize her emotional wellbeing.

#1: Forcing herself to always be happy.

Barbara's story lines state that she "only allows herself to be depressed for 30 seconds" and that after that, she basically puts on a smile; regardless of what she's actually feeling. She often talks about how good everyone is to her, and I honestly believe that Barbara invalidates her own depression because in her eyes; she has a good life and there's no "reason" for her to be sad, plus if she was sad then everyone else would feel down. She hasn't experienced anything traumatic, so how can she have the right to be depressed? But the thing is, she has: her parents divorced when she was young; and Barbara grew up apart from Jean, leading to a lack of a relationship between the two. While the divorce, based on Jean's story lines, did not seem to have a lot of negativity around it (from what I can tell Simon and Frederica actually split on amiable terms, they just fell out of love with each other), it still affected Barbara in a negative way and no doubt she is hurting from it but she's not acknowledging her pain. All trauma is not the same, this is true. But all trauma IS valid; just because someone is hurting less doesn't mean they're NOT hurting and Barbara needs to understand that her pain is valid and give herself time to process it.

#2: Lack of emotional boundaries

If there's anything that Jean and Barbara have in common besides both being healers, it's that they're absolutely terrible at saying no. In Barbara's hangout, she feels guilty for avoiding Albert and wanting to be left alone despite being emotionally exhausted and even wants to apologise, despite doing nothing wrong. Later on when her fans ask for autographs; she agrees, despite being off the clock and trying to take a break: Aether has to step in personally to get people to go away, and not only that; he has to lie through his teeth in order to do so. If you tell the NPCs the truth ("Barbara is currently on leave, please don't disturb her",) they'll reply "Oh she's on leave? Perfect time to ask for an autograph!" They don't care about her feelings; all they care about is what she can do for them and the worst part is that Barbara lets them treat her like this. It's so bad that the Knights have to constantly step in and rescue her because folks can't get it in their heads that off the clock =/= available; and Barbara feels like if she can help other people that she needs to; to the detriment of her own needs. She seems to think it's selfish to put herself first; but looking out for yourself emotionally is anything but. It's okay to say no, it's okay to tell people you're not available. Just because you're free doesn't mean you're up to engage and there's nothing wrong with that. But like Sister Victoria says herself; Barbara is too nice. She gives and gives and gives and expects nothing in return, and people take advantage of that.

#3: Undermining herself through constant praise of others

In her hangout, she tells you that besides singing and healing, she doesn't have anything worthwhile about her, and then goes on about how amazing you are, Jean as well. Barbara doesn't acknowledge her positive traits, and then when she vents to you she apologizes for doing so, since you were supposed to be hanging out and having fun. She puts a lot of her worth in comparison to what other people can DO, and not actual character. Barbara is a lovely person: she's sweet and kind and loving, but because she doesn't see herself as physically strong or powerful, she doesn't think she's worth a lot.

Bennett

My GOD, Bennett is like the EPITOME of toxic positivity.

1. Allows others to mistreat him and take out their feelings on him because he feels it's his fault they're suffering (essentially, a martyr complex)

Bennett's hangout is a prime example of this where when Royce got angry, Bennett simply let him yell until you step in. Due to his almost perpetual bad luck, he feels that he's responsible for the misfortune of the people around him and since he can't physically do anything about it, he attempts to "atone" by letting himself be emotionally assaulted.

He also puts himself in physical danger to keep other people safe (he figures since he's already unlucky, might as well suffer a little more if it means everybody else is okay, right?), and accepts abandonment as the norm since he's a liability. Bennett does not value his wellbeing whatsoever due to constantly being in danger and he seems to be of the mentality "If I'm going to die, at least let me die protecting everybody" and that immensely upsets me that a KID, who's probably no older than 17, is already considering his mortality.

#2: Not allowing himself to process negative emotion

Just like Barbara, Bennett constantly forces himself to always keep a smile on, only in his case it's more to keep himself from getting overwhelmed about his situation. It's heavily implied in his story that Bennett is afraid that he could die any day (and I don't blame him) and so he lives hard and fast because he feels he doesn't have a lot of time. He's cheated death MULTIPLE times (he almost died as a baby, and he almost died prior to receiving his Vision), and Bennett more than likely feels that one day, he's not going to get lucky enough to escape again; and he'll actually die. His life is an entire string of misfortune and unlike Barbara and her parents divorce, Bennett is aware of this trauma: he simply chooses to take it in stride and forces himself to stay upbeat. Which is just as bad as letting negative emotion completely overwhelm him, it's literally just the other ditch.

Bennett also seems very sad about the fact that his team abandoned him but he doesn't let himself process that either (if you respond angrily to the revelation that his teammates left he'll jump to defend them and insist "they had their reasons"- and that may be true, but that doesn't invalidate the trauma and sadness of being left behind because of something you literally cannot control). Similar to Diluc, Bennett is sort of an Atlas of his own right, but instead of carrying all of Mondstat on his shoulders he's shouldering his emotional wellbeing: he refuses to vent to anyone and bottles everything up because he doesn't want to be a burden; but in doing so he's only hurting himself in the long run.

(Thank God for Razor though it seems like he might be hanging around for the long haul and that makes me immensely happy. I could cry. Please don't let anything bad happen to him and Bennett they deserve friendship)

I'm going to go off the beaten path a bit here but, to all you guys reading this; please remember that:

1. Your trauma is valid, regardless of how "lesser" you think it might be.

2. You are not obligated to give yourself emotionally to other people if you are not up to it. You cannot give what you do not have, and if you're not 100% emotionally wise, you really shouldn't be taking on any more negative energy. It's not selfish to take care of yourself. If people can't respect that then they're not worth your time. Set emotional boundaries and don't budge for anyone. The people who are meant to stay will honor your boundaries.

3. It's okay to be sad! And it's okay to be sad and have no idea why. It doesn't matter if you have a 'good life,' depression doesn't care who you are or where you are on your walk of life and sometimes it hits like a truck. Your sadness is valid and don't be afraid to take the time you need to acknowledge and process your negative emotions.

so i saw a take about eula that made me mad so here’s my (biased) rant about her

i’m pro-end user license agreement, i think she’s cute, not just appearance-wise but personality-wise too

(didn’t pull her tho bc the kinda obvious powercreeping made me salty, might pull her when her rerun comes around just to have her and not level her)

but basically the gist of this rant is gonna be i think people unfairly mischaracterize her and i’m gonna talk about why i think she’s a good bean based on the two things about her that i’ve seen people mention they dislike the most: the way she talks and her relationship to/feelings about her family

disclaimer: a lot of this is my opinion and my interpretation of her character, probably has a lot of typos

okay so

a lot of people from what i’ve seen dislike eula bc of the way she talks, but at least try to understand why she might talk the way she does

putting aside the reason why she talked the way she did to the people of mondstadt during her story quest (i’ll get to that later), let’s talk about her whole focus on vengeance first

imo her whole thing about vengeance is a shield of sorts for her

many of the people of mondstadt would only ever see her as a descendant of the lawrence clan, someone who means to do mondstadt harm

so might as well give them what they expect, even if it’s not what you really mean

her story in her character profile even says this

“Her grievances and vengeance are but a habit, a signal, a shield.

“What remarks she should just laugh off, what concepts she should bear in mind given her unique circumstances and position...“

one has to remember that eula is a descendant of the lawrence clan, a clan that is hated in mondstadt bc of how corrupted they became during the era of the aristocracy

it’s likely that when she was a child she was ostracized even though the sins of her family, her ancestors, aren’t her own

even if she wanted to make friends with the other children of mondstadt, they were probably too distrustful of her

the people of mondstadt only see the family she’s a part of; they don’t see her

the people of mondstadt wronged her and were mean to her simply bc of the blood that runs through her veins, and i think it’s bc of that she says that she’ll have her vengeance

imo her act of vengeance against the people of mondstadt is being a faultless knight, a knight who completes their duties flawlessly and is without reproach

one first has to learn that this was what she was taught that way since she was young

reading up on the lawrence family based on her profile story, the renmants of the lawrence family are pretty much a cult i think

“The Lawrence Clan may have been overthrown a long time ago, but they have never given up hope of one day rising again and reclaiming their place as the ruling class. So that they are always prepared for this monumental moment, their offspring are subjected to an educational regime so unbelievably harsh that it is considered borderline abusive.

she clearly doesn’t talk that way all the time?

personally the reason i think the mondstadters we talked to were like ‘ugh, this again?’ is bc all of the lawrence clan does it, and eula is part of the lawrence clan so it’s like, expected of her to talk that way

but the main reason she talked that way was to give an example to the traveler

she didn’t talk that way to us when we first met her, and she didn’t talk that way to amber and sarah

and some people think she still supports her family? like man

i don’t know if we went through the same story quest or not

but eula quite clearly ruined a plan of her uncle’s that was to harm mondstadt? and during that quest she quite clearly shows her disdain for her family and her family’s ideals?

“I’ve never experienced the age of ‘glory’ you always speak of, and I’ve never understood our family’s incessant pursuit of it. [...] The Lawrence Clan should never and will never become what you’ve dreamed it to be!”

not to mention her voicelines where she makes fun of her family often:

“Aristocratic etiquette is all just for show... Just smile and nod along! I was forced to learn all of the rules by heart, but even I don't take them that seriously.”

“I heard that bard sing a few songs about the Lawrence Clan... They were lighthearted and funny stories that mocked the clan in a way I've never heard anyone else do. Even I couldn't help but burst out laughing... And for this, he must pay!”

also about her saying she wants to avenge her kin in her voicelines, (this is me kinda reaching, ngl) imo it could just be her sarcasm, or she could be trying to change mondstadt’s view of the lawrence clan so that others in the family like her who aren’t as attatched to the aristocratic customs and share her beliefs can walk freely in mondstadt’s streets without fear of reprisal, which can be evidenced by this voiceline:

“The name Lawrence only became a social stigma after the clan fell from grace. It was once an honor to be called a Lawrence, but unfortunately, most people have forgotten about that part of history. The Grand Master says that I am performing rather well as a knight, and that if it's not enough to restore the honor of the Lawrence name, it's certainly a strong rebuttal against the one-sided opinions so many people throw around. I'm quite satisfied with that appraisal.“

furthermore based on her voiceline about barbara, i’m pretty sure she wants to be liked? to be acknowledged in a good way?

“Everyone loves her. What's her secret? Maybe I could learn a thing or two from her... Hmm, or maybe not. I can't imagine a ‘Shining Idol’ would want anything to do with a descendant of a depraved dynasty.“

like, she doesn’t want to be thought of as just a descendant of the lawrence clan

she wants to be known for who she is, not her family

i think this is why she avoids lisa too, since lisa would have read all about her family and she doesn’t want lisa’s judgement
