BOKUTO KOUTAROU

“Bokuto, can we take a break?” She huffed as her jog progressively slowed into a walk. Placing her hands on her hips, she leaned back and howled with exhaustion, having overexerted herself trying to keep up with her boyfriend’s monster running pace. This was supposed to be a cute walk, not a fucking marathon against Usain Bolt.

Glancing over in Bokuto’s direction, [y/n] pursed her lips into a thin line when the two-tone haired male jogged over to her, doing a little dance around her in a taunting manner. “You’re very funny, Bo. Just wait until I call my parents to pick me up while you jog back home alone.”

“Don’t you dare!” He whined, stopping his jogging altogether to walk over to her, wrapping his arms around her sweaty body from behind with his chin rested on her shoulder. “Want me to buy us something to drink then? You look thirsty!”

“Yes, I’m dying over here.” The female huffed, leaning back into his chest, sighing ever so softly.

Placing a chaste kiss on her neck, he nodded and chuckled softly, “okay, don’t go anywhere. I love you. I’ll be right back!” Like a tornado, he turned on his heels and began jogging towards the store to buy two bottles of water to refresh themselves.

Plopping on the curb, she placed her forearms on her knees and sighed. “I love you.” The words finally processed in her mind, making her eyeballs fall out of her head at the sudden realization. She jumped up, glancing around back and forth to see if she was being pranked or something. “Did Bokuto...just...”

“Hey, [y/n]! They had some ice pops on sale, so I bought you some!” Bokuto exclaimed happily, running towards her with the ice pops and water in hand. He was running at a speed that almost made her think he’d run her over flat. Skidding to a stop, he grinned down at her and handed her an ice pop and a water. “Here you go, Princess!”

Standing on her tippy toes, she gently kissed his cheek, pulling away with a reddened face that he found strangely attractive. “Thank you, Koutarou. I love you.”

“[Y/N], YOU JUST SAID THE L WORD!”

KAGEYAMA TOBIO

“Make yourself at home.” Kageyama said as he awkwardly opened the door that led to his bedroom. The male shuffled sheepishly by the door, causally allowing his gaze to flicker around his room then at his girlfriend who slowly walked into his room, examining every aspect of it. He felt...strangely exposed. The place where he spent his daily life was now open to [y/n]’s eyes that scruntinized everything so deeply. It felt like she was seeing him.

“This is your bed?” She asked, pointing at the large bed with a blue blanket draped across it. It was neatly made, which made him think back to how he had been desperately cleaning before she got here.

“Yeah.”

Her feet stepped on a creaky floorboard as she took a light step towards the bed. He didn’t know why he felt so nervous. “Come here.”

Following her orders, he followed behind her until they were both standing beside his bed, staring at each other like a bunch of idiots.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she grinned as she threw her body onto the bed, yanking him down with her so that he was laying beside her. A soft chuckle escaped her lips at the surprised but flustered look on Kageyama’s face.

“What the hell are doing?” He scoffed, his tone matching the flustered countenance smeared across his face.

The girl snickered, reaching up to gently caress his cheek ever so softly. Her fingers danced along his skin, tenderly tracing its way to the crease between his eyebrows. “You’re so cute. That’s why I love you so much.”

They froze. [y/n] instantly slapped a hand over her mouth, knowing damn well she ruined the moment by dropping the L word out of nowhere. She could tell something was up when Kageyama’s eyebrows furrowed together even more, and he began to turn away from her.

“Hey, Kageyama, I didn’t mean to-“ her eyes widened when she saw the bright red hue that colored his entire face, ears and neck. For some reason, seeing it made a dark red blush spread across her cheeks. “K-Kage? You okay?”

“You said... I love you...” he trailed off in embarrassment. He couldn’t look her in the eyes. Before she could speak up once more, he cleared his throat and mumbled, “I love you... too, [y/n].”

“KAGEYAMA! WAAAAA!”

AKAASHI KEIJI

“[y/n], you guys have been dating for, like, eight months already? Wouldn’t you have said it atleast once by now?” Her classmate asked with a quirked brow, pestering [y/n] about her relationship with Akaashi. After hearing that neither of them had said those three words after almost nine months of being together, her classmates wouldn’t leave her alone. Apparently, they claim that if he doesn’t say it, he’s cheating.

[y/n] rolled her eyes before smiling thinly at the girls who surrounded her. Ever since she had gotten with him, the amount of annoying classmates who bothered her on the daily would grow.

All she could hope for was that Akaashi would show up soon and save her from this irritation. He had yet to show up one of these days.

“Seriously, [y/n], you’ll never last with Akaashi-san if you guys don’t say I love you.”

“What’re you girls talking about?” His voice was smooth and heavenly as he appeared behind [y/n], placing his hand on the side of her arm. The female recognized his touch and voice, simply leaning into his touch instinctively.

When the girls didn’t say anything, he nodded and bent over to bring his mouth to [y/n]’s ear. “Practice is gonna run longer than usual. Will you be okay on your own?”

Covering her ear that tickled, she nodded with a light chuckle. “Yeah, I can go home on my own today. Thanks for telling me.”

“Mhm.” He leaned in, placing a kiss on her cheek. “I’ll see you later. I love you. Be careful on your way back.”

Akaashi felt somewhat pleased with himself when he saw the envious looks that were directed at [y/n]. They could wish all they want but none of them would ever come close to being what [y/n] was to him. He wasn’t the type to show off, but he did like proving people wrong, especially when it involved his girlfriend.

Pfft. Him, cheating all because the L word wasnt said? No way in hell.

Holding her ear, she felt a shiver run down her spine once again. The words echoed in her mind as she tried to process them properly. She knew he did it on purpose, but it still managed to fluster her beyond repair.

Curse you, Akaashi! I’ll love you until the day you die for that!

Intro & My take on KM

Hi!

I’m new around here so it’s supposed to be (not so short) introduction, since I don’t know how to start a blog heh. I hope to sprinkle my 0.5 cents into the KM conversation and maybe to bring a new perspective from someone, who is not a part of the typical English-speaking West.

Who /the hell/ Am I?

(please, consider it to be said with NJ’s voice from Intro: Persona :D)

I was born in Siberia (it’s in the Asian part of Russia), currently live in the European part of the country while studying at a Uni (European in terms of geography, not in terms of everything else i’m definitely not shading rn lolllll). English is not my first language, I’ve just kind of learnt it to some extent. Due to this it takes me more time to write a post; and I may (and will) make some grammatical & other mistakes. Plus I’m lazy AND busy with Uni, so I won’t even promise to be consistent in posting smth lol. But I thought I need more practice in terms of writing in English, so here I am, actually scribbling something. This feels weird, because I’ve been around stan Tumblr since 2015, but never ever interacted, just read.

How I ended up around Jikook/Kookmin (and BTS) & My (long&messy) take on this matter

Although I had heard of BTS before, I became an Army only in October 2018. I had kinda avoided them, because you know... boybands.... sing songs about romantic love and how they love girls.......... (+I had been around Twitter when 1D been at their peak and I remember a quite toxic community of fans, whom always had scared me). Shortly, hello stereotypes. Obviously, after I got engaged I felt terribly sorry that I had been sleeping on them, but what is done cannot be undone.

Someone I knew back then reposted one of their MVs and I, during my sad hours of procrastination, decided to watch it. Then I saw their live performance with the same song. And I thought “wow these guys can sing and dance and the music is kinda cool, i need to check this out maybe??”

Then a funny thing happened. One of the next videos I watched (the same person had it added to their page) was a 2016 BangtanBomb where JM and JK practiced their Coming of Age dance.

Well, that was precisely me after I watched it. I don’t even know how to explain this, it was kind of a gut feeling? Whatever you call it, I started to get suspicious and couldn’t even explain to myself why. /actually now a do have questions to this vid and the main one - why does everyone cringe that much? if it’s a girly choreo than they had done some “girly” moves before. why is there such strong reaction??/

I started to get deeper and went to some ru-shipper communities. Shipping culture among Russian speaking fans is... well, weird to some extent, but I maybe address this topic some time later. You need to consider that (as far as you probably know) Russia is quite homophonic country and sadly is not the greatest place for LGBTQ+ community at the moment. The non-frienly influential attitudes hanging in the society + the general shippers’ weirdness = the result is not that nice honestly.

I struggled for some time in order to find more mature people (not just in terms of age but in general sanity), failed, ended up with some EXTREMELY toxic ru-fans of TK, which was/is the most popular pairing here, spent among them like 15 minutes and ran away horrified. After that I didn’t even try to engage with shippers or believers or whatever of any pair and just decided to enjoy the music and the content (which is a great idea, highly recommend!)

After a couple of days I discovered that JK makes videos. I love video, films and visual art so I immediately found them on YT, saw the titles with names of different cities from all over the world and was like “Oh that must be so cool, he’s visited so many outstanding places I’ve never been to, so I really need to watch it! I shall enjoy some beautyyy”. Then I clicked on GCFt.

Well, what can I say. I did enjoy some beauty, but not the type I had initially anticipated. The biggest clickbait in my entire life. JK should be proud of himself.

I had already known Troy back then and I known the song’s lyrics so it would not be an underestimation to say - the video just blew my mind. I was like - hold on is this real? seriously?? no really really????? he manage to get away with something THAT obvious?????? dude how

As a person who edited videos AND is not a native English speaker, I don’t buy the explanation “oh he mustve didnt get the lyrics lmao”. You just don’t do that. You don’t. DON’T. You google and translate every shit you don’t understand, every word and idiom you’ve never encountered, because otherwise the possibility of an epic failure is very likely. You wouldn’t want to give your mum a video as a birthday present and then discover that you used a song with WAP-ish lyrics, right? (well maybe that would be okay in your family, I don’t judge, but that’s not the case for people I know). So don’t you dare to degrade JK’s intellectual capacities; such assumption is really offensive. He is a smart boii, he knows exactly what he’s doing in terms of his art.

So I was shocked, but decided to look for the context - maybe I missed some previous events regarding this Tokyo thing (another great idea - always check the context). Well, apparently I didn’t, because the whole narrative with the trip for two, lovely selfies etc. made my poor brain lowkey explode. (I still don’t buy the rings theory thing though)

But I didn’t give up lol! I’m a bit stubborn and it’s very hard to convince me in anything, so I decided to search for more context, more of their interactions, moreeee. Remember, the late October 2018, there were no swan lakes, RB, and even MMA18 hadn’t happened yet.

This time I ended up watching content in more or less consistent way, and when I saw all of these scenes with affectionate JM and a cool badass i-don’t-care-about-anyone-i’m-a-manly-man-with-no-feelings-whatsoever JK, I just hysterically laughed.

Homophobic Russia, remember? I recognized this. Growing up here being LGBT myself, taught me the same type behaviour during my high school days. When a girl I kinda liked but didn’t what to admit it to myself was nice to me or (oh god) flirted with me, I did something similar. It’s like a huge panic mode. Being an introvert doesn’t help either. The funniest thing is that you may not entirely realise what exactly is going on in terms of your own feelings, especially at that age (16-18ish). In my personal case, I thought I liked her but as a friend, only later to realise that well not as a friend oops :DDD The second thing (already not so funny) is that you actually consciously or unconsciously try to avoid the subject as much as possible, as long as possible and pretend that nothing is going on. We’re just bros. Stop doing this stupid gayish thing and don’t look at me like that, you’re annoying. If you ever do this again I (gently) kick you. I’m straighter than a straight line in my math textbook. IDK, but probably that’s your brain is somehow trying to protect you. Again, in my case&position I knew that the consequences for any non-straight person being outed would be bad (TW not to the point of being killed bad, but to the point of being excluded from a big part of society). So for me it was a mixture of the internalized homophobia + lack of self reflection + just being a bit emotionally slow + very! straight community around. Shit happens, I was a teenager and made my share of mistakes, but that experience helps me to recognize the same pattern of behaviour up to this day.

So coming back to KM, because the post is already waaay too long and I just ramble. It’s been 2+ years for me being a part of this fandom, and what can I say... Things become more intense and eventful with every year passing by ;) Funny how I felt that vibe from the 2016 dance practice video. Seeing the Black Swan performance a week ago almost had me choked, no joking. They are amazing.

However, and I would like to emphasize that, I do not incline that KM are 100% romantically involved and/or gay or whatever. I tend to treat people with respect and not to make too much assumptions about their private life. That’s not my business. However, I’m also not a fan of heteronormativity, so I’m just sitting here and observe everything that’s going on putting some distance and not forgetting being generally polite and critical thinking. But if they are just straightest besties please give them an Oscar before Grammy

Anyways, I hope this blog won’t kick the bucket from the very start and I will post something every now and then. You can always ask me questions about some BTS/Jikook related stuff or something about Russia and a Russian view on mass culture topics, since I’m pretty sure some of you have very stereotypical view of what is going on here :) However, do note that I’ve never been to America or Europe, therefore I may not be aware of something verrrry obvious to you or just have a completely different experience.

P.S. And yeah, I’m used to say Jikook, since it’s the name which is used much more frequently in Russian. i like it better and what will u do haha

A/N- this is my first time ever posting on tumblr so the layout may be kind of weird?? this is also the first skz smut ive written so hopefully it isn’t terrible!! also i’m thinking about turning this into a multiple part thing if people actually like it!!

Felix had gotten done with a long day at the studio and he was in a weird mood. You two were lying in bed watching a show, and Felix was cuddled up to your side, playing with one of your hands distractedly. Now, your boyfriend was always very affectionate, even with his friends. That’s just who he is, he enjoys physical contact with people. But tonight he was being downright clingy. From the second he got home he was all over you, hugging you from behind in the kitchen while you made dinner, following you everywhere you went, sitting right next to you on the floor while you worked on school work at your desk. Now that you’d settled in for the night, he was trying to be as close to you as possible, every time you shifted positions he’d go with you so you kept touching. Now he readjusted himself so his head was on your chest and one of his legs was thrown over yours, and you sighed as he nuzzled his head into your chest, obviously wanting your attention.

“What’s up tonight Lix?” you asked, bringing a hand up to run it through his hair. You felt him shiver as you pushed your hand through his blonde locks, and he shut his eyes for a moment.

“What do you mean?” he asked quietly.

“You’re being very...affectionate tonight, more than usual.”

“I just want to be close to you,” he said, opening his eyes again and looking up at you. You smiled back at him when you saw his cute little face, his cheeks slightly red and his hair disheveled from you messing with it.

“Okay, just making sure nothing’s wrong,” you said, leaning down to rest your head on top of his. Sometimes when Felix was upset, he would be extra cuddly and clingy.

“Nope, nothing’s wrong,” he said, turning his attention back to the tv. You weren’t convinced though, because after a while you were starting to notice Felix getting fidgety, shifting his position frequently and squirming a bit. You noticed his discomfort and thought for a second that maybe he wasn’t feeling well, which made you worry again that something was wrong.

“Are you sure you’re okay? You’re acting a little strange,” you said, turning down the tv and looking down at your boyfriend. Felix brought a hand up to wipe tiredly at his eyes, shaking his head.

“I’m fine, I just,” he started, ending his sentence with a sigh.

“Just what? Did something happen today?” you asked worriedly.

“No! No, today was fine.”

“Then why are you upset?”

“I’m not upset, y/n, it’s just,” he started, looking away from you. You grabbed his hand to reassure him. “I just wanted to talk to you about something,” he said quietly. You raised an eyebrow at him.

“Why didn’t you just say so?” you asked.

“Well it’s kind of...it’s kind of embarrassing,” he admitted, bringing his hands up to hide his face.

“What do you mean?” you asked, reaching up and pulling his hands off of his reddening face.

“I don’t know, it’s just embarrassing to talk about,” he said, shifting uncomfortably.

“You don’t have to be embarrassed talking to me about anything, baby, I’m not going to judge you.” you said gently.

“I know, it’s just...I don’t want you to think I’m weird,” he said.

“You’re starting to freak me out, just tell me.” you laughed. Felix smiled nervously.

“I saw something and I want to try it,” he said, playing with his hands anxiously.

“What was it?” you asked. He bit his lip and looked down at his hands.

“Well it was a video, like a...you know,” he said. You smiled at his confession, he was so cute when he was nervous.

“What did the people in the video do?” you asked quietly, looking at him as he continued not making eye contact.

“Ugh, I hate talking about this, it’s so embarrassing,” he said, yet again burying his head in his hands.

“Why don’t you show me the video?” you asked. Felix’s eyes widened.

“You mean like, we watch it together?” he asked. You nodded.

“How am I supposed to know what they did in the video if I haven’t seen it?”

“O-okay,” Felix said, reaching over and grabbing his phone off the bedside table. Anticipation rose in your chest as he opened his browser and typed in the url to a very nsfw website. He eyed you nervously as the website loaded and you nodded to him, telling him it was okay to continue. He typed in a few words and pulled up a video titled “mommy takes care of her baby boy.” Your eyes widened in shock at the title, it was not at all what you were expecting him to pull up. Felix noticed your expression and threw his phone down on the bed, bringing his hands back up to cover his face in embarrassment.

“I knew you were going to think it’s weird. Forget about it, nevermind,” he mumbled, his voice muffled by his hands. You reached up and pulled his hands away from his face, not wanting him to feel embarrassed asking you to try something new.

“Hey. Look at me,” you said gently, tilting his chin so he was looking you in the eye. “I don’t think it’s weird. I never said that. I was just surprised is all. If this is something that you really want to try then I’m more than willing to try it with you,” you assured him. He swallowed harshly and broke eye contact again.

“I don’t know, this is so awkward, y/n. I don’t want you to be uncomfortable.”

“I’ve told you before, anything you want to try is fine with me. I don’t want you to be embarrassed about what you’re into.” You reached over and grabbed his phone off the bed, the video still on the screen. You looked at Felix, asking silent permission to press play. He gave a small nod and you tapped the screen to play the video, holding the phone so both of you could see. It began pretty slow, and you tried to pay close attention to everything happening in the video so you knew exactly what your boyfriend wanted from you. In the video the girl was in control, which was something new. Usually sex with Felix was pretty tame, neither of you were more dominant or submissive, it kind of just happened. The idea of being a dom both scared you and thrilled you, making your chest tight with anxiety and excitement. The girl in the video worked slowly and teasingly, making her sub whine underneath her. The idea of having that control over Felix awoke something inside you that you’d never felt before, and you were suddenly so so glad that he brought this up. Felix again looked at you nervously out of the corner of his eye. You didn’t look back, too busy observing what was happening in the video. The way that the sub was squirming and begging by the end of the video made you feel something indescribable. You mindlessly trailed your hand up and down your boyfriend’s thigh as you watched the video. It should have felt awkward to just sit and watch that with him, but you were so encapsulated by what was happening in the video that it didn’t feel weird at all. You finally looked over at Felix towards the end and saw how red his face was, his hands shoved between his thighs and his eyes focused on the screen in front of you. He looked up from the video for a second, making quick eye contact before diverting his eyes again.

“I never knew you were into this kind of thing, Lix” you said in a low voice.

“I honestly didn’t know either until I saw this video and then I couldn’t stop imagining she was you,” he admitted. You smiled at his words, looking back to the video just as it was ending. You closed out the app and set his phone down, tightening your grip on his thigh.

“I don’t know anything about this so I might not be very great at it,” you warned him.

“I’m just so happy that you’re willing to try it, y/n, I don’t even care,” he promised. You smiled and shifted your position so you could look your boyfriend in the eyes, nervous energy building up inside you. You reached up and brushed Felix’s hair away from his red face, smirking while holding eye contact with his desperate eyes.

“So you want to be taken care of baby?” you asked, running your fingers through his hair. He leaned into your touch and sighed quietly.

“Yes,” he whispered, cheeks still burning red from embarrassment. You pinched one of his cheeks and he flinched a little.

“I think I can do that,” you said, trailing your hand from his face down to his chest and tugging at the collar of his shirt. “I’m gonna need you to take this off for me,” you said. He nodded and hastily sat up to pull the shirt over his head. You sat back for a moment and admired his body, his flat stomach and small frame glowing in the light.

“You’re staring,” he giggled, crossing his arms over his chest. You shook your head and reached out to grab one of his arms and pull it away from his chest.

“You’re just so pretty, let me look at you,” you cooed. He blushed as he set his arms to his sides and looked away.

“Why are you being shy? It’s nothing I haven’t seen before,” you questioned.

“Just feels different, I dont know,” Felix replied, shifting his position.

“Relax, baby. Let me take care of you.” You scooted closer to your boyfriend so you were in front of him and you pushed gently on his shoulders, giving him the hint to lie back on the bed. You watched him fall slowly and smiled at how pretty he looked all laid out for you. You sat next to him and ran a hand over the expanse of his chest, sending shivers through his body with your gentle touch. Your hand grazed lightly over his sensitive nipples and he arched his back, leaning into your touch. You knew this was a weak spot for your boyfriend, and you were going to use that to your advantage. You ran your hand back over the spot, lightly squeezing one of the buds between your fingers as Felix let out a soft whine. You were already enjoying the feeling of having him squirm under your touch, and you think you could definitely get used to this. You slowly leaned down and licked gently over one of his nipples, pulling away and blowing air on the spot you had just wet. Your boyfriend shivered at the cold sensation and you smiled at the look of lust and frustration building up in his face. You were never this slow with him and you knew it was killing him. You repeated your actions on the other nipple and then lightly bit down on the sensitive skin, causing Felix to let out a surprised “oh!” that quickly turned into a soft moan. You moved your lips again, kissing up his chest and onto his neck, before you swung a leg over him so you were straddling his lying body. You sat on his lower stomach, paying no attention to the buldge in his pants. He slightly shifted his hips up, looking for friction, but you weren’t giving it to him yet, you were making him wait. You leaned down and continued kissing up his neck, sucking a mark behind his ear.

“Y/nnnnn... you can’t do that,” Felix said, shifting away from where your mouth met his neck.

“Why not?” you asked innocently, although you already knew that he got shy about the boys seeing him marked up.

“Don’t want people to see...embarrassing,” he whined. You leaned down and brushed your lips against his ear, whispering in a low tone.

“You don’t want people to know who you belong to? You don’t want them to know that you’re here, lying down for me and letting me have my way with you?” you teased. Felix groaned at your words as you moved down, sucking another mark below his collarbone. You’d done this before, so you knew he wasn’t actually going to get upset- you would never do anything he wasn’t okay with. Felix’s breathing grew ragged, inhaling shaky breaths and exhaling quiet whines. The little noises he was making were turning you on incredibly, and part of you wanted to stop the teasing and just go at it. But this is how they did it in the video, and Felix seemed to be enjoying it, so you continued. You continued to leave wet kisses up and down his neck and chest area, moving up to his face but avoiding his lips. He bit down on his bottom lip, and you could tell he was trying really hard to hold himself back and be patient. You decided to reward him, finally pressing your lips to his. He relaxed into the kiss and immediately tried to push his tongue into your mouth, causing you to pull away for a moment.

“Eager, are we?” you smirked. He whined again at the loss of contact.

“You’re teasing,” he said, a small pout forming on his face.

“I get to do that, baby, I’m in charge,” you said, trailing a finger down his chest. “Isn’t this what you wanted?” you smiled sweetly.

“Can you please just kiss me?” he asked, his tone desperate and slightly bratty. You raised an eyebrow at his sudden change in behavior.

“I will this time, but cut the attitude in the future.” Felix gulped at your dominant tone but couldn’t reply as you pressed your lips back to his. He let you set the pace this time, and as much as you wanted to go agonizingly slow, at this point you were already too worked up to keep teasing. Deepening the kiss after a moment, you brought a hand up to tug at Felix’s hair, something you’d recently discovered he really enjoyed. He moaned softly into the kiss as you pulled at his blond locks, holding his head in place. A lot of it is BNHA, because that’s been my main fandom for 2020, but I did spend a decent amount of time in other spaces. Complete – A quick disclaimer, pia is a mutual and a friend. That being said, this is such a cute little snapshot into the LOV with everyone’s favorite Found Family trope. Now, I’ll admit to being additionally biased because pia gave me that sweet sweet Dadpress food, but her Spinner is also on point. Short and sweet.

the Issue of the Jeanist Corpse (the Jorpse) by Princeliest (Hawks & Jeanist Gen)

Complete – Witty and hilarious, a deleted scene when Hawks went to visit Best Jeanist before War Arc. I love how antsy Hawks is, and how fussy Jeanist. Also, I’m a sucker for putting a j at the beginning of everything for Jeaninst.

Queer Eye: We're In Japan! And There Are Pro Heroes Everywhere!! by night_of_the_living_trashcan (Background Erasermic Family)

Complete – I love a good Queer Eye fic, and this one is so spot on. The Fab Five couldn’t get a better candidate than Aizawa (well, almost; see below). And I’m a sucker for Erasermic family.

**Yesterday's Gods by Karzai (All Might/Reader)

WIP - Reader character is an ex-military doctor who comes to work at UA. If you’re a fan of very well-developed backstories, and reader characters that are their own people, then this is the fic for you. This fic gives me huge Newsroom vibes - we’ve got a past romance, and the tension after years apart. We get present day when they are older and more jaded, and we get the backstory of the reader character and All Might when they were young and spry.

**surrender (whenever you're ready) by OfMermaids ( @ofmermaidstories) (Bakugou/Reader)

WIP - Bakugou accidentally destroys a florist’s shop. Bar none the best Bakugou fic out there - his characterization is so on point. He is grouchy but so vulnerable, he’s coarse and soft and insecure and such a perfectionist. The relationship with the reader character develops very naturally, and the chapters are long. Bonus, we get some bangin’ Kiri as well.

**if i could keep cool by andypantsx3 ( @andypantsx3) (Todoroki/Reader)

Complete – I’m in love with the premise of the fic: a hired cleaner gets kidnapped due to a misunderstanding of the romantic variety. Andie’s Todo is well written, and the pacing of the story is nice and tight. An easy read.

**Subject: RAPTOR by Tainted_Wine ( @tainted-wine)(Hawks/Reader)

Complete – The villains have turned Hawks into a Nomu, and reader works collecting semen for the facility for breeding purposes. Bigtime monster-fucking, but it’s very poignant and well-done. Very long, but well worth the time.

**My Hero by HeroAssociation(Aizawa/Reader)

WIP – Reader character is a milf whose son enters a contest to meet his favorite hero and wins. The author’s Aizawa is really good, and the scenes with the reader’s son are very realistic for maternal love. And, I cannot emphasize this enough, reader character is a milf. It’s incomplete, and hasn’t updated in a while, but the premise is so cute I can’t not include it.

Complete – Baby’s first hanahaki. Honestly a very cute little hanahaki – no angst or sads, just two idiots in love. A nice quick read.

Complete – Aizawa gets turned into a cat by a villain’s quirk, and the reader character takes care of him until it wears off. I’ve heard this premise is popular? But I haven’t seen too too many, and this one is very well executed. Aizawa’s characterization is solid, and the pacing is very good. A very sweet read.

**no grave to hold my body down by Hawnks (supermintfluff) ( @hawnks)(Shinsou/Reader)

Complete – Pro Hero Shinsou saves the reader character, and they keep running into each other. This one is a good character study on adult Shinsou, and Hawnks’ writing is always very clean and lovely. I recommend going through their entire selection.

Love Like You by Queen_Kai (Shinsou/Reader)

Complete – Color Soulmate AU with a villain reader. Very cute, and I adore Shinsou’s characterization in this one. I honestly wish there was more, but it stands on its own very well.

Naruto

**Maid with Benefits by awolangel (Akatsuki/Reader)

WIP – Reader is hired to be a live-in maid to the Akatsuki, and also have lots of sex. This fic is hilarious, and so well characterized. The pacing is actually really good, as well as the development of all of the relationships. There are some characters that get more attention than others, but we do get a nice spread. Very fun escapism fic.

Moonshine by Victopteryx ( @ancharan) (HashiMada)

Complete – Prohibition Era Bootlegging AU. Author’s handle on both Madara and Hashirama is incredible (and they draw their own fanart, and it’s also incredible). A whole-ass meal.

Tobirama Kicks Some Sense Into Konoha by allseer15 (Tobirama&Naruto Gen)

Complete – Tobirama gets sent back in time due to an accidental jutsu, and is horrified at the way Konoha is run, and promptly Rampages over it. Wonderful catharsis for anyone who wondered why it was okay for a rich-ass old man to just leave an infant a welfare check and a shitty apartment and dip out on his development even though he has the equivalent of a nuclear warhead in his upper intestine.

Misc

**Clouds by moriamithril (Star Wars Rogue One, Cassian Andor/Reader)

Complete – Reader character is a handler/assistant type figure to Cassian over a series of missions. We get a lot of emotions in this one – we get the tenderness of caring for someone who is ill, we get devotion, we get yearning, we get delicious jealousy. Well written and lovely.

Fresh Coat by scrapmetal (The Mandalorian, Boba & Din Gen)

Complete – Fantastic Boba and Din, the Mando culture representation we deserve. I’m love.

**A Far Greater Sin (Reader version) by Yavannie (The Mandalorian, Din Djarin/Reader)

Complete – Reader is a healer, and builds a relationship with Mando over the course of a couple decades. Great pacing, great RC development, and the author’s Mando is quite good. The premise/setting gives me wicked fantasy vibes, even though it’s obviously In Space, but that’s definitely a draw.

who's gonna save us now (when the ashes hit the ground) by chancellor_valdez (Ready or Not, Grace/Daniel)

Complete – My favorite of the “Grace and Daniel Survive Together” subgenere, this one is very raw with its emotions. There’s a lot of hurt, and there’s a lot of self-harming coping mechanisms. Recovery is ugly, and the author did a very good job showing us that. And their ending was lovely.

not your garden variety demon lord by rizahawkaye (Inuyasha, SanSessh)

Complete – Sango takes care of Rin sometimes, and gets confused when Sesshoumaru brings her gifts. The author’s Sessh is so good, and it’s a great exploration of a relationship we don’t see much of.

Mine Enemy by Ayrith (Inuyasha, InuSan)

Complete – I love this fic, okay. Fantastic character study in Sango and a lot of the rougher parts of her that canon shied away from, and the author’s Inuyasha characterization is fucking great. Just go read this, yes.

Frozen Plus One by Meowzy (Frozen, HansAnna)

WIP – Troll AU, ie the trolls cursed Hans and that’s why he is That Way. Look, this author has done such a good job with all of the characters. Their voices are very distinct, and it’s not a reach at all to see how it could have gone differently. And we get some sweet HansAnnaKris action, and it is just as we deserve. Honestly, this fic is so well written, it deserves the world.

Knives In by anomalation (Knives Out, Marta/Ransom)

Complete – My favorite of the Pen Pals subgenre, this one is a fantastic slow burn. Ransom is really forced to face himself, and Marta is such a babe. Meg makes a few appearances, and her confusion over her place in the world is really well done. A great enemies-to-lovers.

It's Not Anxiety, It's a Parasite by squadrickchestopher (Venom, Queer Eye)

Complete – Look, I’ve mentioned before, but I love a good Queer Eye fic. Eddie gets what he deserves, and the symbiote couldn’t be more happy. So funny and clever.

You Find Yourself in a Maze by FloaromaMeadow ( @zombiekaiba) (S0 Atem Gen)

Complete – Very short and very poignant, the style is modeled after text-based command games. It fits super well with the Season 0 aesthetic, and there’s so much punch in each command.

Gaud's Grinch x Tony Fix-it Fic by gaudy_writes ( @biggest-gaudiest-patronuses)

Lol I had the wildest die ärzte dream in a while :D:D:D

Okay here we go: I had forgotten to check Bademeister.com and when I went there, there was a link and a new music video. It started from some sort of log house, like a vacation resort you can find from Canada or from somewhere else on the mountains. But I think it was actually in Switzerland. It was this lobby with a fireplace and everything looked warm and nice, lots of dark red wood (like red as in wood color, not actual red) everywhere, the camera was spinning very slowly from left to right, revealing that there were people sitting in a circle on chairsm, with some of them having guitars on their laps. One of these people was Rod. He looked slightly like he did in Schrei nach Liebe video, with a fake beard. I don’t remember if there was music yet.

The camera kept turning to the right and I just started wondering: where are Bela and Farin? When I finally saw them. They were standing behind this reception desk, Farin was either taking care of the cash register or wiping the counter (which was black marble, wood was again dark brown). Bela was a few meters closer and he was just dancing his brains out there. Then he just ran towards Farin, grabbed his hand and they started spinning around really fast, bit like how Jack and Rose did in Titanic when they were dancing. I’m not sure if there was a third man involved because I couldn’t see properly, but then they stopped and Bela “cried” because they were spinning around way too fast, and Farin was stroking his back. They were wearing their normal black clothes and the hairs looked like it was from 2013/2013 era. There were also other people behind the desk but I didn’t care to look at them that much.

Next Bela and Farin just stood there with their backs towards a curtain that was behind them, there were also some boxes between them and the curtain, and they were holding hands and looking around cautiously and just started to back away towards the curtain. I think the curtain was turquoise in color? Either that or some dark warm color to go together with all the dark brown wood, but anyway they just backed away and once they were close enough, they slipped through the curtain to the back rooms. I think it was where you got to the staff’s rooms as it was still a vacation resort/hotel.

Then the scenery changed. The curtain was more like a portal to some other place. It looked like a desert but more like a video game desert? There were stuff and buildings but I can’t see them clearly. Two other men, who I don’t know, came out or went through the curtains and then I saw Bela and Farin running out from there, still holding hands and looking super happy. At this point I think there was music already, and it was clear that they were not themselves but more like playing characters of the music video. They even went by some character names, the first thing to come to my mind when I woke up was that they would have been called “Dolannes” and “Melodie” but I’m not sure. (I checked my music library now and I don’t know what that song is, I just know Alleine Economy was named that and that there’s also some live cover of a song with the same name, idk if it’s an actual cover or what.)

There was actually lots of people in the area. But everyone was from different medias, like tv series or movies. I can’t see properly who they were and from where but everyone was like some weird die ärzte alternative universe version. If you know those movies or tv series when they hire someone almost a lookalike to play a character and for a moment everything looks normal until you see it and it’s confusing instead. Like you expect it to be THE character but then you realize it’s not? Everyone in the dream - apart from Bela and Farin as their characters, was like that. And thanks to Tumblr (and one old online friend who loves the series and has talked about it to me a lot in the past!) - I have never watched Supernatural in my life and yet there was suddenly a camera close-up looking at someone laying on the ground and when they lifted their head, it was Castiel from said tv series. But he didn’t look like the actor, it was yet again some alternative universe version. I just remember being like “no NOT YOU AGAIN, NOT IN A die ärzte VIDEO???” because I have already filtered the tags on Tumblr and yet can’t get away from all this. And then even dä had the show in their new video lmao. But then I was also finding it hilarious because apparently Bela knew his media XD

Anyway, at some point there was also someone flying, like a super hero, and floating down from the air but I only could see legs and a part of a cape. I think it was a she, but the style was like old Superman comic who were tights etc. There were people gathered around her on the ground, looking up at her. I think at some point everything started to make sense and that place was like some promised land and paradise of “gays who never got to be openly and accepted gays in their medias”. So they could go through that curtain and go into this gay paradise and be happy there lmao. And this was some... weird die ärzte against homophobia plotline that you saw if you were open minded. This whole dream has bit of the color scheme of their M&F video, too. The curtains, if they were turquoise, at least were the same color as the background in the video.

I then remember being at my parents’ house and I was watching the video from my laptop and as the song was playing, I just said to my brother “This is the new die ärzte song.” I could hear the song so clearly in my head, it did not sound like dä at all, it was very slow-paced, almost some art rock sounding, kinda eerie piece. There was vocals but they did not sound like any of them, so my brother just answered that he thought it was some other band - he said the name but I don’t remember it, I don’t think that was even a real and - and I was then thinking out loud that this could actually be a Rod song if he wanted to make a much more experimental song this time.

Then it changed and got zoomed out and showed a map. It was like an European/world map but it was different from the actual map, but it showed Rod was in Switzerland and that was the only part that looked realistic. Bela was actually heading to West and Farin was going to somewhere that looked like the below part of Finland but it was around the area of Middle East, yet it said Farin’s going on an adventure to the Artcic Circle next.

And one was even a image of my cousin making a stupid face and I don’t know where did that come from cos I don’t even have her photos in my phone :DDD

I also dreamt about Tumblr: yesterday I actually did the post about how you can send me dä related art requests and I dreamt that my ask box was filled with requests. Lots of people were also sending me just emojis, like thumbs up emoji or something. And then one and the oldest of the asks was someone asking me what is a rhubarb pie and if I can make a post about Finnish rhubarb pie, and so I did.

Maria watches friday night lights (#36)

5x13, the series finale i have heard nothing but good things about - I made it y’all! *wipes tear* this is a show i will definitely rewatch! It definitely feels like the kind of show that’s so layered that every time you go back you’ll pick up something new. I love shows like that.

i haven’t been on tumblr on my computer in a long time but im gonna go through and add “read more”s to all of these recaps!

Oh wow, I love the “FIVE DAYS TILL THE CHAMPIONSHIP” vibe. The build-up is already here. A shot of Julie in the stands watching practice!

It’s super uncomfortable that people are talking to Vince about his “future teammates” on the Panthers before the post-season is even over. “I don’t really wanan talk about that. I want to talk about how the East Dillon Lions are gonna win State.” “Is that a promise?” These Texas sports journalists are WILD. this is a teenage boy whose school’s funding just got cut right before the biggest game of his life! Can we have some sympathy?!

“I hear they’re taking the cream of the crop for the Superteam so I’m gonna be honest with you, what are you gonna do?” EXCUSE ME SIR? I repeat, TEENAGE BOY. Tinker’s response of “you’re an asshole” and storming away was more than appropriate!!!

“No comment”ing his way out of there like a champ.

Ah, the age-old tradition of decorating a Christmas tree while arguing about a five-year football coach contract in Dillon or a dean of admissions job offer at a prestigious Philadelphia college. Julie’s just sitting there with Gracie like ooooh boy

“Here is where we put our tree, not Philadelphia! It’s a Texas tree.” OMG STOP IT. Lol Julie putting her hands over her ears.

YAY MATT SARACEN IS AT THE DOOOOORRRRR im so excited

Wow I did not expect this proposal to come that quickly into the episode! Like i knew it was coming in this episode but aw. They’re so soft! Just like, oh i’ve been thinking about you nonstop since our perfect Chicago tryst and oh look here’s grandma’s ring let me casually get down on one knee in the town where we fell in love. And after she was just talking about how much she misses Matt to Tyra the episode before? That “yes” she gave feels so certain because of it. Aw.

The grandma’s ring really fucks me up because you know how close Julie and Grandma Saracen have gotten over the years. My heart!

“Oh my God, your dad must’ve flipped.” “...What do you mean?” OH NO Eric Taylor is totally the type to care. “...When you asked him to marry me.” Oh I knew this proposal was too early in the episode, im dying!

“You need to go man to man.” Ugh Julie i liked Matt’s plan of just going and telling them much better. His look of fear when he repeats “man to man.” dead.

Wow no theme song??? That’s how you know it’s gonna be a long series finale!

Andddd here we are, a bickering Riggins “I may or may not be going to Alaska.” “Is it because you raw dogged Tyra last night?” i literally gasped.

LMAO Mindy trying to say Tim and Tyra are incest now that Mindy and Billy are married and then Tim and Billy immediately being like “nope, no blood lines, that’s not how incest works.” Someone should send that memo to all those anti bughead stans about bughead and falice

“What do you think about me taking Stevie for the day?” “I’m fine with that. There’s no going back, I’m going to get the bag.” LOL Mindy spoken like a true parent also YES to Tim and Stevie spending time together.

Poor Jess not realizing that asking Eric if she can follow him to the Panthers is a much bigger question than she thinks se’s asking.

“We’ll never know if we’re East Coast people if we don’t try it!” “We have a MUCH BIGGER problem.” Dude, it’s Matt Saracen, the softest boy who has loved your daughter for years, i actually think the fundamental decision of where you and Tami continue your future might be slightly more pressing.

Aw, Tami getting teary-eyed at Grandma Saracen’s ring. “It’s just, y’all are so young.” I know but this is a TV show universe so we let teen marriage slide for the right couples, ok.

Tami and Eric wanna take Matt and Julie to A CONVERSATION DINNER??? This is gonna be so funny.

Aw, Vince got his dad a ticket to state? “I want you to be there.” if this fucker doesn’t just come and shut his mouth

Oh wow Becky’s mom is finally coming back? And yay Becky’s finally over her Tim crush. “So friends?” “I say family.” AWWW MY HEART.

“You guys were our age when you got married.” ARE YOU SERIOUS? “It was a different time.” Y’all have no leg to stand on here.

“Marriage requires maturity.” Says the man who won’t let his wife take a huge job offer. What, who said that? (Okay the way Tami’s watching Eric give this speech about compromise, thinking she’s thinking the same thing.)

“You guys got married when you were my age, and how many times did you move? How many different things you’ve gone through and look how you’ve made it work. You guys are my inspiration.” AW. I wish my parents had a stable enough marriage to be able to say that LOL but nope.

OH NO poor Tami getting up from the table because she’s emotional! Because she’s clearly always thought of her marriage that way too but maybe not lately AH

Why tf is Buddy calling Eric first thing in the morning to tell him about Buddy Jr.’s cast and “staying here el permanente” and GETTING HIM TO SIGN A CONTRACT BEFORE THE GAME? Y’all are shady as fuck!

I love that seeing the Braemore papers made him stop, tell Buddy off, and not make a decision in that moment. What’s gonna happen???

“I won’t be a part of your Superteam after all.” Hopefully Eric won’t be either! Aw Jess thanking him “for the greatest experience of his life.” “I think it’s been mine too.” AW.

Eric’s gonna give a coach in Dallas a good word for Jess? So beautiful. Yesss!

Ugh, the imagery as they get to State is amazing. The boys taking in the field, the players suited up praying and getting in the zone beforehand. The screaming in the stands waiting for them.

Eric’s pre-game prayer overlaying the image of the Lions bursting out onto the field! Yes yes yes!

The way they slowed everything down with just music, and focused in on the faces of so many characters - Vince’s dad showing up, Eric and Tami saluting one another from stand to sideline, Becky cheering in the stands excitedly for Luke, Matt and Julie holding each other, Buddy on the sidelines screaming, Vince’s mom jumping up and down - just absolute perfection.

And we’re back in, with actual in-scene sound at 26-21 with 3 seconds left on the clock??? Jesus!

AH and every single character watching the football fly in the air, WOW the DRAMA.

Holy shit, they fast-forwarded to one of Eric’s players in Philly catching a football eight months later in Philly??? THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD. WOW.

Tami looks like such a badass strutting around campus!

YES Tinker is on the Panthers! Take that, bullying reporter!

Aw, the East Dillon Lions sign coming down. :( feels.

Nooo Luke don’t go to the military! Noooo I hate that. Poor Becky. They’re the exact type of couple who gets caught up in that really sad cycle - too poor to really have many other options, so the whole “free college when i get out!” thing starts to look really attractive. smh.

But i love how they used the championship ring he gave Becky as a way to signal that the East Dillon Lions did, indeed, win the state championship eight months earlier...and that Jess is wearing the ring on the sidelines of a new field where she’s working with the coaches! amazing!

Yay Matt and Julie live in Matt’s beautiful Chicago apartment? Perfection. They really look so good in that city together.

New beginnings in a new city together for both Tami and Eric AND Matt and Julie? I’m living! It’s what they deserve!

Tim and Billy building Tim’s house and drinking beers! “Texas forever.” “Texas forever.” MY HEART.

What’s the biggest argument you’ve ever had with a family member? Did things ever go back to how they were beforehand? Definitely something with Mom. The biggest was probably in the car one night where she got so mad at me that she tried to kick me out of the car. No, I didn't listen. I don't really remember exactly what we were arguing about... other than it was something small that blew up about bigger themes. Have you ever experienced some kind of natural disaster? Hurricanes. If you have pets, do you feed them human food or do they just get regular pet food? If they do get human food, what’s their favorite thing to have? Roman only gets cat food. He's actually really well-trained about not taking human food after he did once as a kitten. Now he might just sniff around curiously and give it a look, but food can be pretty close to him and he doesn't go for it. Have you ever been in a physical fight? Who won? I definitely haven't ~really~ been in one since I was much younger (uhhhh and smaller), but I do have a faint memory of starting to go in one chasing after a kid. Maybe my nephew when he and his dad visited? idr What was the first comic book you ever had an obsession over? I was never into comics. Do you like kids pop-up books? If you have pets, when was the last time one of them annoyed you? What happened? Roman (my cat) was just playing too rough with my hand. He's always hyper in the morning. When was the last time you took a dog out for a walk? Is this your own dog or did you borrow someone else’s? Wow... it's been many years. I walked Teddy sometimes, but that definitely slowed down and eventually came to a halt as he aged and his joints got bad; he would hesitate going down the porch steps, and I didn't want him to get too tired mid-walk and then have to go up them. Have you ever been the victim of a theft or robbery? What was stolen? Did the police ever catch the person who did it? No, thankfully. Are you a fan of garlic bread? Do you eat it on its own or as part of a bigger meal? Garlic bread would ruin my life if I let it, lmao. It's always a side. When was the last time your area was under some kind of weather warning? Did it end up being as bad as predicted? There was literally a tornado warning three days ago. I don't think so, no, but then again I didn't really look into it. Do you prefer having the blinds/curtains open or closed when you’re at home? Does it depend on the weather or the time of day? OPEN. You NEED natural light, I promise. I used to like my room as dark as possible in my worst times, but I am so glad I cut that out. I like, feel a part of me lighten up when I open my blinds in the morning. Who was the last person to tag you in something on social media? How do you know that person? My mom shared something that reminded her of Roman. Have you ever eaten a Big Mac? No; I don't like lettuce in my burgers, so I'm sure I wouldn't like it. What brand is your vacuum cleaner? I'd have to check. Where was your favorite hangout as a kid? So at my childhood home, down the road was a "stream" (aka a ditch and drainage pipe going underneath the road) that usually had at least some water in it, but if it rained, it really started to feel more like a real stream to us kids because of the movement. It drained into the pond just beyond the woods, and my sisters and some neighbors loved to play around that area. What’s your favorite pizza topping? Pepperoni,ig. Which sport do you suck at the most? All of 'em lol. My hand-eye coordination is awful, and hell no can I run. Are you good at rapping? I've never tried, but I'm certain I wouldn't be. I stutter so badly, and it's been getting worse. Can you say the alphabet in more than one language? I know it in German. Do you eat three meals a day? It varies. What do you want out of life? Fulfillment. To feel like I did something worthwhile.

anyway i know i haven’t been around on tumblr much lately. but for any of you who have followed me for years and are wondering about my life!!!! or anyone at all!!! it’s just me rambling a lot Beneath The Cut, old school style 😎 (why does saying that make me feel like a youtuber idk) mostly about my mental health Journey

OKAY SO

i have been through a loooong depressive nightmare. so much has gone wrong over the past few years. i went from a merit scholar at a great university, on one of the best scholarships they had to offer, to.... uh.... crashing and burning. i couldn’t get anything done, like, to a ridiculous degree. i was miserable. i withdrew from school for a year, and after that i thought i had my shit together again, and then i messed up. AGAIN.

that made me even more miserable, and my depression went down a dark spiral. i was working at starbucks for a while after i “graduated” (i had an incomplete from my last required course and i never,, finished,,,,), and i actually loved working there (coffee!!! fun people!!!) but because i was hit by a car (lmao remember that??? when i was in france, my last night there and i was HIT BY A CAR and DIDN’T GO TO THE HOSPITAL LMAO ,,,,, i literally got the driver who hit me to drive me to the bar i was meeting my friends at im crying i was such a dumbass)

and it turns out that it actually gave me multiple cervical herniated discs, that has hurt me a lot throughout the years, and i made them 81501841 times worse by working at starbucks. so i ended up having to quit because i was in such intense pain all the time, even though i didn’t have another job lined up. and then afterwards... i didn’t know what i wanted to do with my life. when i first quit it had felt freeing, i had so much hope that i would finally graduate and get things done and get a Career job and do something meaningful with my life.

and then....

me, crying: :)

so this past year since i stopped working at starbucks has been.... rough. my depression got even worse. i felt like my life was falling apart in slow motion, and i was inevitably going to hit rock bottom. there was nothing i could do, i had no hope things would get better -- my doctor cycled me through a bunch of different antidepressants, and like all of them made my symptoms 180110 times worse, and coming off of them was always so rough. i felt like there was like... nothing that would ever make things better. with each failed antidepressant, and each month of my life that slipped through my fingers, i was losing all hope that anything would ever get better.

i couldn’t even exercise or be active and feel good the way i used to (i used to play a million sports and had so much fun) because of the pain from my herniated discs (which might not even be the full problem! because apparently all the things they were doing to fix them didn’t help, and i’m still in so much pain whenever i do anything to stress my neck -- even just playing dnd hurts me?!? even though it’s mostly sitting down for eight hours?!? lmao it’s Bad). it was just.... i was just.... scared that this is all i would ever get out of life. that the person that i used to be, enthusiastic and passionate and outgoing and excited -- i would never feel that way again.

and then i got a new psychiatrist.

and oh my god. you GUYS.

i am now on ritalin instead of an antidepressant, and let me tell you........ my life has changed. i’m literally crying just typing that right now, because i can’t even begin to explain how much it means to me, and how incredibly fucking thankful i am. every day i woke up and i was just weighed down by this bone-deep exhaustion and nothingness. and now on the ritalin... i have energy. i am doing things. i’m reaching out to all the friends i distanced myself from, hanging out, going places, having fun!!! i feel HAPPY and like myself and ,,,, it’s been so fucking long since i’ve had this. i’ve been on it for a month now and it’s been the best month i’ve had in f o r e v e r.

and it’s not a 100% cure-all. i still have to work to make things better. there are still some days i wake up and i’m like God Im Cry Why Am I So Tired. i still have the pain from my herniated disks. but it’s just..... soooooo much better than it was. so so so so so much better. and i am finally getting my shit together, you guys, like... it wasn’t my fault i couldn’t do things before, now that i’m on medication it’s like, things that were So Insanely Difficult are nothing to me. like.... i feel human again dkdjkfdkdjk.

so i’m applying to be a substitute teacher right now!!! and then i will try and finish my degree while i’m doing that, and then i will hopefully become an english teacher. and if i don’t like it, i will move to france and au pair until i decide what i want to do after that. like.... this is what i should have been doing YEARS ago, but i fucked everything up, and now it’s finally happening.

i’m just... i’m so relieved. and so happy. i finally, finally, finally found something that makes my life better, and my psychiatrist is a fucking queen. i love her. so like,,, idk. if any of you guys are struggling.... it took me years. there were so many ups (where i thought everything was better!) and downs (where i thought nothing would ever be okay again!) but like.... i finally have found medication that has completely and utterly changed my life. even if you try a bunch of things and they don’t help... like, keep trying, you guys. don’t give up hope. there will be something that makes things better one day, and you will be so so so relieved you didn’t give up, and you will be happy again.

The storytelling was fantastic and I got really invested in not just the main 8 but in all of the minor/side characters too. I know I have Therion, Cordelia, Tressa and Leon specifically but if you want to throw in any of the other characters in the tagset you totally can, same with any side ships (here’s looking **You don't have to include ALL the characters I selected here in your fic, you can mix them up or follow a prompt I have. Therion - I love him and would die for him he is my perfect little trash bandit. It kills me how he longs to belong somewhere but is equally afraid of it for very good reasons. Because of this he’s so heavily guarded and *sobs* his reactions to people (the 8 and Cordelia) genuinely caring about his wellbeing? It just hrrk! I’m so happy I started with him, that I got to see his growth throughout the story and how his emotional wounds finally seem like they’re on their way to healing. Tressa - My adorable little gremlin, she’s such a little badass! While money may be on her mind a lot she’d never cheat anyone! She’s genuinely kind and her travel adventure is so interesting because it’s about exploring the world, experiencing new places—and while she has a certain understanding of this—she learns the true meaning of sentimental value in things. I love her so much. Leon - I love how much of his character is wrapped up in some mystery and that he seems like a tortured but mature soul (as you can see I have a type.) Cordelia - I love Cordelia and she is entirely underrated. She’s been through quite a lot and her faith in my best boy helped him come back into the world able to to trust and love people again. She’s very soft and caring and now that her stolen heirlooms have been restored to her she can come back into the world herself.

Tressa and Therion teasing TF out of each other doesn’t matter what about or who about. I just love them and they have such a brosis vibe

Lio - Um yes I love him. He’s just such a tortured soul and true cares about people. I like—honestly he is my favorite character. The way he used his flame to protect Galo? How hard he fights for the Burnish? How hard Gueira and Meis fight for him and stop at nothing to save him speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. I just love him and want him to have nice things

Galo - This wonderful brilliant dumbass. I also love him and despite me calling him a dumbass he’s actually pretty with it when it comes to adapting to his environment. He also takes in new information and rather than reject it out right he examines it critically. Like the way he approached Kray about the Burnish experiments was not the smartest… However, he still went to find the truth no matter how much it could have hurt him and that really defines what kind of guy he is.

Gueira & Meis - So unfortunately we didn’t get to see much of these two but what we did get to see was GOLD. I love them, I love how they fight so hard to protect their fellow burnish and how loyal they are to Lio. Like omg when the Burnish were being rounded up but they used the last of their strength to save Lio, believing—knowing that he would come back for them? *hrrk* My heart.

the last time was when you were trying to think of a title for the exact scenario you were talking about

he smiled while watching how you talked about the scenario

he looked away and at the screen again

and the pressure of having to talk about science in front of all of your classmates (even though you know everyone and y'all are friends) was crazy

and when your teacher started to ask you questions that you couldn't answer

you felt yourself get really warm and then you started crying

you one of your closest friends ran to you side

and she was lovely enough to ask you if you wanted to be alone

which you did

so you left the classroom

after what felt like years (k not really)

you're teacher came out and talked to you a bit

AND THAT MADE YOU FEEL PRETTY SHITTY

LIKE YEAH WILL I KNOW I WASN'T PREPARED

your teacher said that you didn't have to finish the presentation if you didn't want to,,,, but you should go back into the class whenever you were ready

you knew that Jisung was coming back from choir soon

so you waited in the hall until you saw him

when he saw you, he sent you a small wave

he slowed down to a stop in front of you and asked if you were alright

you were sitting alone in the hallway lookin all sad

you just like sighed and looked down, shrugging, AND mumbling

"i don't know"

and the next thing you knew

Jisung was sitting right next to you against the lockers

"okay, what's up"

you just looked at him

and he looked back

"uhhh,,,, well,,, i had my exhibition"

you looked forward, across the hall and he nodded, doing the same

"it didn't go well, clearly as you can probably tell because I'm sitting out here and not in class"

you lowkey felt tears forming

"what happened...?"

you looked back up at him before sighing

"ELA was going great, then i got into science...."

you started to trail off so Jisung finished for you

"he started asking questions?"

sighing and nodding in response, you continued to elaborate

"yeah... BUT LIKE it was awful. I started crying, and UGHHHH it was so humiliating."

and ran a hand through your hair

in your usual seats

after a few more presentations y'all get a break

and your close friend (from earlier) turns to you and asks if you're okay and such

you just nod and tell her you're fine

you were smiling so big though so yeah she believed you

you and Jisung kind of accidentally started a secret relationship

it went on for like a month

and then y'all were so comfortable around each other and you accidentally held hands while walking down the hall

key word there is accidentally

y'all just didn't realize

and then your friend was like

"THE FUCK FAM WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME????"

you're confused for a second and then you look down at your hands and are like

"OH SHIT LMAO SORRY"

and then Jisungs friends find out and y'all are just like

'ohp okay then,,,,,, wasn't expecting this'

and you two were finally public with the relationship

it was definitely a change from the awkward shit that went down a month before

once everyone knew

y'all became that adorable couple everyone thought was hella cute and perfect for each other

Fic Writers Week Day 3: Small But Mighty

Shine a spotlight on the new/underrated fics you’ve read or written.

Yeeessss it’s rec time! I know there’s also the last day to rec fics in general, but I love the idea behind this day a lot too! There’s so many beautiful fics that I’ve read which don’t receive the amount of recognition/kudos that they deserve! I can’t wait to spread the word about them! Since this might be a longer post, I’m putting it under a read more! Enjoy <3

Also, I want to encourage people to try reading new fics as much as possible! While fic rec lists are a good source to start and get ideas about what to read, often times people rely on them too much, and then overlook newer fics which are just as amazing! So every once in a while, remember to check the ship tags on ao3 for newly posted works, that way you don’t miss any hidden gems!

Okay so this kurotsuki fic definitely needs twice as many kudos/comments, because the writing was downright phenomenal! It was so beautiful and made me feel warm inside all throughout reading it, I couldn’t get enough! The characterizations are excellent, and the whole mood of the fic is so cozy and wonderful. This wasn’t the first time Suga had claimed their apartment had been haunted. However, it was the first time he tried to do something about it. Daichi, as always, is nothing but supportive.

This fic was short, but unbelievably sweet! I loved the mix of domestic daisuga fluff with paranormal shenanigans lmao, it was just a super enjoyable fic which had me giggling constantly. I don’t read much daisuga, but it was definitely a treat, and I’d recommend the fic to all! Please also make sure to follow @bishounen-curious <3

Starved (ao3) -- Kurotsuki, T

Kei can’t make it this week. Next week, maybe, he’ll be here but Tetsurou is all out of patience.

@ivyfics has too many amazing fics which deserve more attention, but this one I feel especially needs to be read. The writing and emotions are just...incredible, I reread this fic so much because I’m in awe of how well it’s written. It’s the perfect mix of angst and relationship development, and I super appreciate that it’s from Kuroo’s POV! Please check it out if you love kurotsuki! It’s worth the read (and reread lol) ^^

Where to Start (ao3) -- TeruShira, G

It's the second date Kenjirou has been on and he can feel Yuuji already figuring him out. He wants to be the boyfriend he wants Yuuji to have, but he doesn't know where to start.

Alright so this author in general just needs more love, yeah TeruShira (or any Shirabu ship really lol) is a rarepair, but gah trust me, after you read this fic you’ll be hopping onto the shipping train so damn fast. The characterizations are so realistic and interesting, and the interactions between the pair are so fun and touching. Please check this fic out, as well as all of SilverAmoebasquid‘s other works!

A God for Every Season (ao3) -- Matsuhana, T

Mortals have all kinds of foolish tales, like how Hades and Persephone's annual reunion causes the seasons. Matsukawa knows better.

Alright, I don’t have time to get into this because for this fic, I can honestly write a 10 page essay about how much I love it. So lemme just say, the writing and the romance is top notch, like...wow, words cannot describe how beautiful the writing is. You seriously need to read it in order to understand. I also love mythology aus, and this delivered! The retelling of Hades/Persephone reuniting was so creative and enjoyable, I want to reread it all again just from typing this lol. @90stimkon did an incredible job with this fic and all their fics, so please check them all out! <3

Waiting for Spring (ao3) -- Kurotsuki, NR

This fic isn’t exactly recent but I’ll never stop reccing it until it’s been read by everyone lmao I swear! It’s a bit on the angstier side, and there’s a warning for mental illness mentions, but it’s a gorgeous fic. It explores Tsukishima’s emotions and character so well, Kuroo’s too! The details about mental health and Kuroo’s feelings/situation are great, it’s definitely a dream fic which flows into reality so well! I loved the ending, I loved the whole fic, so please give it a shot!

@serviceace is an amazing writer, and this crime au has got me so hooked! If you like crime mysteries and detective!Iwaizumi, this is the fic for you! It’s ongoing, but each chapter is so interesting and fun to read, and the questions keep me on the edge of my seat! Please go read this fic if you’re a sucker for iwaoi and police aus, as I am ;)

It was supposed to be a typical evening for Bakugou Katsuki. A masquerade ball, a night of serving the royal family as he always did. But when the party goes horribly wrong it's up to servant boy Bakugou to rescue the princess, Uraraka Ochako. His rescue mission is about to change both of their lives completely, and eventually Uraraka will want to reclaim her throne.

Now, older, the two reunite, realizing their lives have gone in very different directions. Ochako, part of the Resistance against the horrible Academy, and Bakugou, a famed sky pirate, traveling the island clusters to find various bounties. Together, they fight to take back the home they once knew and loved.

Okay y’all, lemme tell you, if you love Kacchako, you need to read this! The idea is so damn original, and Rache’s writing is A++ as always. The world she builds and the character relationships that she crafts are so well done. Okay so I was super surprised that this fic didn’t have more kudos! It’s so light hearted and funny, not to mention perfectly sweet! It’s ongoing, but I can’t wait for more. @worthlesspride writes some of the best bokuaka out there, it’s so fluffy and heartwarming, not to mention the writing flows so well! Just a good ol’ Pacific Rim AU. I really loved playing with this universe, and tbh it’s probably some of my best writing?? It didn’t get much attention because I posted it during a busy exchange week, but I’m definitely proud of it and hope more people can read it!

I’m including this one because f/f ships do not get nearly enough attention as they should. I live for f/f content, and I hope I can read a lot more in the future and introduce ppl to it through fics like this! This fic did not get many kudos, but I think it was actually pretty good writing/smut, so please give it a try if you like kiyoyachi!

For Kuroo, finding love was all about patience. He had no problem with waiting for the right person to come along, no matter how many awkward dinners or weddings he had to endure as a single man until they did. Regardless, meeting Tsukishima was something he’d never been prepared for. The feelings were overwhelming and intoxicating, ones he was sure he’d do anything for. However, it seemed his endless waiting wasn’t over.

While this fic isn’t short on kudos, I feel like it gets overlooked when compared to my siren au for kurotsuki. While this fic is a bit angstier than Slipping Underneath, it’s one of my most favorite that I’ve ever written. Writing slow burn is a challenge, but I think so far I’m doing well lol?? I love writing this fic, so if you want, I hope you can also enjoy reading it! <3

It wasn't uncommon to believe in reincarnation, most people did, but it wasn't some flippant thing. Only people with the strongest of bonds were reincarnated, or so legend put it. Hajime could be dense sometimes, but he didn't miss the meaning Tooru was trying to convey.

Lastly, this was my first iwaoi fic, and I was really proud of it even though it didn’t get much attention. It was a struggle to write, but overall, I’m super happy with the result, so I hope you guys can get the chance to read it! I hope I get to write even more iwaoi in the future too!

So a few days ago I got tagged by the beautiful @ramune-and-rain to do this 11 Questions Tag, so here we go!!

1. Would you rather explore the many planets in the universe or explore the wonderous depths of our oceans. Tbh I love the ocean but bc I'm not the best swimmer out there and also bc I'm kind of so inlove with astronomy I'd rather explore the universe~ 2. Can you describe your favourite colour without saying what it is and it’s shades. idk how am I supposed to do that but, I'd say it's really comfortable, a common choice for clothes, not light but totally not the darkest, some people link it to gloominess or indecisiveness 3. Your bias texts you, mistaking your number for one of their friend’s. Do you talk to them and keep up an act or do you admit the mistake? How do you do it? What happens after? Considering I know it's my bias that is messaging me? Or as in just my crush? Either ways I'd tell them they've got the wrong number, but also make sure not to make them feel embarrassed for the mistake. Try to be as kind as possible and laugh it off, if they keep on messaging me after I'd gladly chat with them but if they don't I wouldn't initiate a conversation, I tend to think of this kind of stuff as bothersome often 4. Describe your favourite feature of one of your best friends without saying what it is. Why? Omg I'm so bad at this ;_; well it's probably the feature you'd want the most in a best friend, and since they have it it makes you really comfortable when you're with them, you don't need to bluff or hide anything, it also makes them the first person to pop in your head whenever something happens. Okay so I believe I can say what it is now that I'll be saying why it's my favorite It's being able to tell them every single thing, even if it's embarrassing or your most top secret. I've literally cried my eyes out during some conversations with Nana. Whenever things get really tough or I'm just feeling uneasy or sad she'd always be there to listen to whatever blahblah I have to say and comfort me and make me feel better about myself I love her so much idk what I'd do without her she's like my personal psychologist (SHOUTOUT TO MY BABY NABI;;;;) 5. What super power would you have and how would you use it? Would you choose the path of a hero or villain? I'd like to fly/float and just get away from all the noise and chaos and fly up to somewhere peaceful and meditate this is like what I want to do every single day. I'd be a villain but not a violent rough one, more like quiet cold one 6. What are 3 things includes in your ideal type? Why? Would you accept someone without these features?

1/ height I'm 170cm and that's considered rather tall where I live so I'm often bothered by that so I'd like someone tall to make me look shorter

2/ beautiful smile One of the things I notice first about someone is their smile *cough my crush cough* I find a mischievous wide smile really charming

3/ spontaneous affection (?) I didn't know what to call this but I just mean someone whom being really gentle and loving is in their nature. Honestly I don't think I'd ever accept someone shorter than me, I can omit the smile thing bc if you like someone, their looks just grow to be perfect to you but height and gentleness are necessities for me 7. Vampires, Werewolves or witches? If you could become one, which would you choose and why? Witches!! Reason is that I'm not into neither vampires not werewolves lol and witches are cool when they cast spells 8. If you released a mini album with 4 songs, what would the song titles be? (I will fight whoever says this is Astro influenced but I gotta say it's an epic coincidence) 01. Pleiades A short dreamy-ish track that's good to listen to at night under the starlight. 02. Summer Vibes *title Actually me and my bffs were playing this game where we pick a word/theme and make a song out of it and I clearly remember the song I created with 'summer'. A happy go lucky song about having fun during summer. 03. Flower Bees are attracted to flowers, but while C is a flower, A isn't a bee, so they keep on unconsciously playing with their feelings. (credits to my bff on this) 04. Midnight Thoughts A slow sad song, where I talk about my worries and insecurities, something like Agust D's The Last. 9. Describe what you feel right now by using a metaphor without including the word to describe how you are feeling. It feels like there is a tsunami a few meters away, heading towards me, and all I got to face it is a small life vest. 10. Your bias from one group confesses to you in front of your bias from another group. They quickly confess their love. Who do you choose? They cannot be your Ult bias. Wow that's a toughie. Let's say, moonbin and hansol(Vernon).. tbh I'd hate making either of them upset, but I think I'd choose hansol??? idk if it's bc I've been a carat longer than an aroha but, through the seven years I spent in this hell of a world called kpop I figured out my type is the one that looks so cool but is actually a clumsy ass weird cinnamon roll (reasons my ult is taehyung lmao) also hansol can speak English and I'm hella comfortable with that, it's not even my first nor second language but I always find myself expressing stuff in eng, plus hansol looks more like someone I can take care of (bc this kid shouldn't be left alone at all costs omg) I believe I read somewhere that bin wants to be the one taking care of his s/o but tbh I like things the other way round im such a mom lmao. I'm not the best at explaining but I'm just trying to say I'd choose mist probably choose hansol.

11. Finally, your bias promises to on a date with you on the condition that you plan it. Plan the entire night. (Where you go, why, what you eat, what you wear, the other places you go, what you talk about, any other details etc).

Oh so it's a "night" date? I'd rather have a daytime one but here we go!! We'd first spend the evening in a carnival-like place?? You know all the cute game booths and the cute Mickey ears headbands and the cute balloons (just so much cute fite me) then we'd have dinner in a somewhat fancy place nearby (leaving all the ears and balloons in the car ofc we tryna be fancey here) then we'd move to a quieter place, like a park or something, where we enjoy the night sky and chat every now and then, and finally and bc i get easily sleepy huhu;;; we go back home and cuddle to sleep :3 My Questions: (Look I'm so bad at asking questions I literally googled half of these) 1. Why did you choose your URL? I’ve been unforth everywhere since 1994 so it was kinda a no brainer? When I was first signing up for AOL back in the dial up dark ages, I wanted a Star Trek related username but everything I tried was taken. My mom suggested unforth...it was the name of the male dwarf fighter she played in D&D in the 70s...and now, almost 30 years later, here I still am...

How long have you been on Tumblr? I initially signed up as unforth in December, 2012. That account became unforth-ninawaters, and then was deleted about a month after the purge. I’ve been basically active continually since then, though I did take a year hiatus after the purge.

Do you have a queue tag? I used to use a queue on the unforth-ninawaters and my queue tag was q hoo hoo. Now I don’t bother with a queue...eh, whatevs.

Why did you start your blog in the first place? I started dating @ramblingandpie in November 2012, and she used Tumblr as one of her main things, and she kept showing me stuff, and it just seemed easier to make my own account. Then we kept dating. Then we got married. Then we had kids. And now here we are.

Why did you choose your icon/pfp? I’m a simple person with simple tastes; I just wanted Jeremy Renner to look fascinated by everything I say.

Why did you choose your header? I...literally can’t remember what my header is...ah, I don’t have one, lmfao. Well, that answers that question I guess. (the more sensitive I’ve gotten to copyright and repost concerns, the less I’ve done things like that, I don’t want to steal anyone’s work, and asking would require, ya know, talking to people.)

Do you actually love your grandpa? I don't really remember either of mine. I do from what I remember and have learned of them, though. Do you actually love your grandma? I don't remember my dad's mom at all, but I mean, I love her simply for being my dad's mother, who loved her. My mom's mom, yeah, even though she's. Hard to like a lot of the time.
