oh of course ! i actually only know a handful and they're all picked out of essentially what is one of the only japanese arthurian works (kairo-ko by natsume soseki<3) so i'm going off his word plus i relied some heavy heavy google translating to try to find them buut nonetheless, i quite like

ransurotto (ランスロット) for lancelot & no wa sharotto no on'na (のはシャロットの女) for the lady of shalott :')

(i dumped all the ones i could find here btw but the only two i didn't mention here were arthur and elaine (but her name i'm not actually that sure about-))

#oh dear i did not mean to make that so long but tada #i mostly like ransurotto because it's such a clear rendering and one you can easily look up or translate (whereas ginivuia took rather a #lot of searching ..) aand similar reasoning for lady of shalott except i can actually back it up with some of my own chinese knowledge -#because i uhh do not actually speak japanese but then again i do at least know no wa denotes .like. possession and the symbol for #on'na (女) means the same in chinese: woman or lady ... and then sharotto is another transliteration so all together it's #lady of shalott! :)#pfff i cant believe i started the tags about how long i made this and then went on to make the tags even longer.#im done now though!no more talking!!#itonje #asks
