The drive there was... awkward. He had to pull over at least three or four times, trying to decide which direction he should go. Where would he be? Where /wouldn't/ he be? What would be easier to do..? But he figured that giving the jacket back in person was the... /braver/ thing to do, and that's what he was going to do. He wasn't a chicken, he wasn't a wimp, and he /certainly/ wasn't going to let anything ruin the friendship he very nearly had.

So it was more likely that Derek would be at the train depot, around this time. Hopefully none of the other 'wolves would be there to witness his complete failure in keeping a steady and straight face. He could only hope that Derek would be there alone, no matter how much that seemed to frighten him as well. So he pulled the car off the side of the road, taking the right turns and only glancing over at the jacket in his passenger seat a good three thousand times.

The thing probably reeked of him, after being in his room. Well, that and being hugged to Stiles chest for a good three hours. Ugh. Shaking his head, Stiles forced his attention on the road, watching as civilization thinned out and his surroundings got a little more 'the bad side of town'-ey. He'd been there only a couple times before, and never in very... good circumstances.

But he was pulling up to the entrance now, parking the car close enough that he could probably reach it in a desperate run for escape. And then he sat there. For another five minutes. Trying to fucking /breathe/ because ohmygod he was totally going to do this and REALLY why was it such a big deal all he was doing was returning a fucking JACKET and shit shit shit he was walking down the stairs with the jacket slung over his arm and oh my god he was in the open space eyes darting and heart pounding and-

"Hey Derek, you here..?"
