Got my photograph taken with Elvis Circled round the earth in a rocket ship Found the world cup in a garden And I must've saved a million drowning babies You can imagine what a come down
Drug-busts and house fires I didn't orbit the earth to be bossed around By someone wearing flares! Ain't nothin', ain't nothin' Ain't nothin' but a hound dog Ain't nothin', ain't nothin' Ain't nothin' but a hound dog Ain't nothin', ain't nothin', ain't nothin'

One Little Indian Records Change Name Of Label
The British label One Little Indian Records were founded over 30 years ago now where times were different.
Times have changed since then where the label have officially changed the name to One Little Independent Records.
In addition to the name change, the logo for the label has changed in response to the Black Lives Matter movement following a letter recently received from a fan.

Ólöf Arnalds is an Icelandic singer.  This is an album of covers, but her “Við og við” (produced by members of Sigur Ros) is also released by One Little Indian Records.
I love this music for it’s beautiful simplicity.  It reminds me of Molly Drake, or Tiny Ruins (with Hamish Kilgour).  There is also harp on "Vig og Vid” which inevitably will lead me to mention Carol Kleyn.

Album Review: Björk - Utopia
Album Review: Björk – Utopia
The ninth studio release from Icelandic virtuoso Björk displays her unique ability to once again stretch the boundaries of popular music and imagination. Her new offering Utopia, (One Little Indian Records) builds upon the universe of sound she has become known for, adding new layers of creativity to more fully express her artistic vision. Her unique ability to graft electronic sounds upon…

Bjork will be releasing her upcoming ninth album, Utopia, on November 24th, and has shared the song “Blissing Me”. “Blissing Me” is a gorgeous, slow-burning ballad about two music-obsessives falling in love with one another as they send each other music files. Arca has returned for production following his involvement in her last album, Vulnicura, and his slippery, chaotic synth work is all over “Blissing Me” despite it’s tranquil temperament. The dreamy string arrangements provide the perfect backdrop for Bjork to detail a blooming relationship founded on a mutual love of music. Her writing has only seemed to get sharper with time, and “Blissing Me” is brimming with intricate details that make her fantasy feel all the more sincere. “The interior of these melodies/Is perhaps where we are meant to be/Our physical union a fantasy/I just fell in love with a song” Bjork coos towards the end as the narrator mistakes the object of her affection for a song that she and the other obsessive enjoy. “Blissing Me” is another promising cut from Utopia that finds the Icelandic auteur still at the height of her creative powers, and still finding new avenues for her unparalleled, immensely expressive voice.
