Les “Tsukumogami”… Ainsi nomme-t-on ces objets anciens qui s’animent, hantés par les esprits…

Hyôma Kunato haît les Tsukumogami. Ce jeune homme a vu son frère et sa sœur se faire tuer par l’un d’eux, alors qu’il était enfant. Botan Nagatsuki les aime. Cette jeune fille cohabite avec des Tsukumogami qui sont, pour elle, comme une famille. À Kyôto, capitale millénaire, Hyôma et Botan se rencontrent et se voient obligés de vivre sous le même toit. Tous deux, à travers les combats qu’ils mèneront ensemble, confronteront leurs visions de ces esprits capables de posséder les objets antiques…[/box]

Mon avis

Voici une aventure qui commence et avec elle, des personnages sympathiques auxquels on s’attache très rapidement ! La magie a opéré sur moi et j’ai hâte de découvrir la suite !

J’ai eu un peu de mal à comprendre le monde dans lequel évolue Hyôma, notre héros au caractère assez difficile, mais une fois que l’essentiel est assimilé tout devient clair. Les esprits quand ils reviennent dans notre monde peuvent prendre possession de certains objets. On les appelle les Tsukumogami. Ils peuvent alors adopter une forme humaine et se fondre dans notre monde sous la directive d’un maître. Certaines âmes veulent retourner dans l’au-delà, d’autres s’acclimatent parfaitement à leurs nouveaux corps et encore d’autres sèment le chaos. C’est là qu’intervient Hyôma, il est de la lignée des Saenome et il peut sceller ainsi que renvoyer les âmes dans leur monde.

Seulement, le problème c’est que Hyôma voue une haine viscérale à tous les Tsukumogami. Qu’ils soient bons, mauvais ou juste paumés, il les scelle et ne comprend pas qu’on puisse vivre en paix avec eux. Pour bien lui faire passer le message son grand-père l’envoie alors vivre un an chez Botan qui est une exception chez les êtres humains. Elle a à son service 6 âmes et ils vivent tous comme une famille, chose inconcevable pour Hyôma. Pourtant le jeune homme va devoir se faire accepter dans son nouvel environnement s’il souhaite succéder un jour à son grand-père.

Le monde imaginé est un peu complexe au début mais finalement j’ai réussi à m’y intéresser complètement et j’ai bien fait car j’ai adoré ! Hyôma a un passé chargé avec les Tsukumogami et voir qu’une jeune fille peut vivre en harmonie complète avec des esprits chamboule complètement sa vision du monde ! Et j’aime beaucoup ce genre de message. Il va devoir aller au-delà de ses préjugés et même combattre aux côtés de ses “ennemis” et ces passages sont super sympas à lire ! On cerne peu Botan dans ce tome et j’ai hâte de découvrir son histoire. Elle semble être une jeune femme assez tourmentée et fragile en plus d’être farouchement défendue par ses Tsukumogami !

Une histoire à suivre avec des dessins très agréables !

Supernatural TV Anime 'Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari' Releases 1st Teaser Trailer, Visual

  After being announced back in November, the TV anime adaptation of Onigunsou's supernatural action manga Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari got its first trailer and visual tonight, revealing the lead staff and cast members for the series centered around Hyoma Kunato as he is forced to go to Kyoto by his clan to learn from Botan Nagatsuki how to live with tsukumogami, a type of spirit.

      Voicing the lead character Hyoma Kunato will be Takeo Otsuka (Takeo in Noblesse), with Botan Nagatsuki being voiced by Yuki Takada (Aoba Suzukaze in NEW GAME!). The staff of Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari includes:

  Onigunsou's supernatural action manga Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari runs in Ultra Jump, with 13 volumes currently released in Japan. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the series, with the first English volume set to be released in January 2023. Seven Seas describes the series as such: 

  When spirits cross over into the human world, they can possess old objects and gain a physical form: a tsukumogami. Tsukumogami can be gentle, violent, or somewhere in-between, so the Saenome clan peacefully helps send them back to the spirit world to avoid destruction.

  Kunato Hyouma is a member of the clan, but is…less than peaceful, since he holds a grudge from when a tsukumogami robbed him of something important. Afraid that Hyouma’s brash anger in dealing with these spirits will lead to supernatural catastrophes, Hyouma’s grandfather sends him to live in Kyoto with Nagatsuki Botan, an unusual young woman who actually lives with tsukumogami like family! Can Hyouma learn to control his emotions when dealing with tsukumogami, or is his own spirit doomed to be possessed with rage forever?

  No date has been confirmed for the Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari TV anime as of yet.

MONOGATARI: il primo episodio dell’anime andrà in onda il 9 gennaio, svelato un nuovo trailer

L’action soprannaturale di Onigunsou, dal quale è tratta la serie, arriverà presto in Italia grazie a J-POP Manga.

L’action soprannaturale di Onigunsou (Hitogatana) arriverà presto in Italia grazie a J-POP Manga, giusto in tempo per accompagnare la serie animata di “MONOGATARI”, che debutterà sulle tv giapponesi il 9 gennaio 2023; di seguito il nuovo trailer uscito giusto oggi.

L'adattamento è diretto da Ryuichi Kimura (Kemono Friends 2, Aikatsu!) e in produzione presso lo studio BANDAI NAMCO PICTURES (Raven of the Inner Palace, Tiger & Bunny 2).

Per quanto riguarda la sceneggiatura, a curarla c’è Keiichiro Ochi (The Quintessential Quintuplets, The Demon Girl Next Door), il character design è affidato a Shiori Fujisawa e le musiche sono realizzate da John Kanda dei PENGUIN RESEARCH, assieme a XELIK.

Una storia d’azione soprannaturale in cui un agguerrito esorcista è costretto a convivere con gli spiriti che tanto odia!

Quando uno spirito accede al mondo degli umani, può possedere un vecchio oggetto e assumere una forma umana, prendendo il nome di tsukumogami. Questi spiriti possono essere gentili oppure violenti, nel qual caso il clan Saenome aiuta a rispedirli indietro per evitare il disastro. Hyouma è un membro del clan, ma il suo odio esasperato per gli spiriti spinge suo nonno a mandarlo a vivere con Botan, una donna che vive con gli tsukumgami come se fossero la sua famiglia! Hyouma imparerà a controllare le sue emozioni o è destinato a rimanere arrabbiato per sempre?

Il manga è stato lanciato in Giappone nell’aprile 2014 e attualmente i vari capitoli sono stati raccolti in 14 volumetti.
