My Unforgettable Vacation

My unforgettable vacation was when I went to Thailand with Mom and Dad.

Day 1: Legazpi -Manila -Thailand

The moment we arrived Manila, I was already having so much fun in the airport. I roam around and purchased milktea and other stuff. I also enjoyed the wifi coz not much people were connected. Then at 12 midnight we were about to take off going to Thailand. When we reached our guesthouse, our family and friends were sleepy but sadly our rooms weren’t available yet so we had to share in one room which was really small. All of them were tired and really wanted to rest, but for some reason I was so energized. So, while waiting for our room, we decided to explore the city. We had a super fun night stroll.

First Night in Thailand

           Since our rooms isn’t available and prepared at that time, we walk around the city. We tried the amazing food there. In the Philippines particularly in Legazpi, we have “hepalane” which I haven’t really tried but in Thailand, I was really amused by the different presentation of street food. It was a new experience which I really really like. After a couple of hours, we head straight to our hotel and rest.

Day 2: Familiarizing the Temples

           After having a good sleep and rest, we immediately get ready for our tour. We went to thousands of temples. Each temple has its own unique feature like the Buddha in the tree, a large sitting Buddha, (temple of the Great Relics) the giant sleeping Buddha. We even went to the grand palace wherein the Emerald Buddha was placed. The dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace is undoubtedly the most famous landmark in Bangkok. It’s one must-see sight that no visit to the city would be complete without. It was built in 1782 and for 150 years was the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government.

During our tour, the tour guide told us several stories and one story that mark my mind was the story about the king. According to the guide, every season the king goes to the palace just to change the clothes of the Emerald Buddha. They also told us more and exciting stories but it was way too long. You have to stay there for the whole day to really understand every story.  They even placed the whole painting of the story surrounding the whole palace but sadly we didn’t have that much time and there were too much people at that time.

Day 3: Best Ride Ever with the Elephants

Riding on the back of an elephant was once a exemplary Thailand travel experience. Of course, I wouldn’t miss it since I am already here in Thailand. In recent years, increasing concern for elephant welfare has seen consumer attitudes shift away from rides and other tourism activities that may be harmful for elephants. That is why during our tour wherein we have to make sure that elephants were properly treated. Seeing all of the elephants made my heart flutter. It was really an amazing experience. For me, riding on the back was the coolest time of our Thailand tour. I also tried feeding them and I realized at that moment that elephants love pickles. I also saw them carrying sacks of pickles. I was really surprised by all the things they can do. I can say that it is one of a kind experience. Best Ride and Experience in Thailand!

Thailand boasts a variety of exciting markets that can bring you an unforgettable experience, as well as a fantastic opportunity for some discount shopping. That is why, we didn’t miss it. We went to several malls to buy pasalubong and of course some stuffs.

There is a huge selection of shopping malls where you can find finest fashion stores, global brands, book shops, speciality stores, accessories stands and all kinds of luxury designer lifestyle goods. Visiting the best Thailand shopping malls provide an entirely different shopping experience than traditional Thai street markets.I really enjoy it but Mommy loves it the most because she got the chance to buy different stuffs. It was really affordable. This sums up my whole stay and jouney in Thailand. :)
