GTK! (Get To Know!) Hello! Project – Melon Kinen-Bi (1999) 

Melon Kinen-Bi was created between August 1999 and December of the same year. Harshly criticized for their lack of ‘personality’, Melon Kinen-Bi managed to proved their haters wrong two years later, releasing their three biggest successes Chance of LOVE, Kōsui and the iconic Akai Freesia. The band’s musical style is pop with (trendy at the time) R&B beats, distinguishing the girls from their fellow idols with a more mature image. In 2019: Murata &Ootani are now part of the duo Muratani Shimai since 2016. Their first single (Reborn /Sono Hi Made) was sold exclusively during the ‘Muratani Todoro no Enshuai’ (むらたに☆とどるの恩楽会) event @ Shinjuku Loft, in April 2017. It is not available on the market.

So in the AU events, would you say there's less interaction between lords or about the same as the regular events?

Like among the lords? Depends. 

I mean, Nobu is already Nobu the clan leader, so you have Akechi but no Hide (I guess he’s not hired yet?). Masa has Koju and Shige, as usual, and I think Masa also appears in Koju’s route (I don’t remember). 

But because it’s an AU, sometimes you have random new people appear. Koju’s weirdo uncle Kagechika(?) appeared in his route. Mitsun’s route has Hide, but no Sakon yet. Instead we have Mitsun’s old friend Ootani Yoshitsugu. Hide and Akechi are serving random NPCs, so they’re with their own friends. 

Hide’s friends Kiyomasa (Toranosuke) and Masanori (Ichimatsu) are already introduced in previous events, but Akechi’s friend Toshimitsu is new!

Yasu is still a hostage so he’s alone, just with his “captor” Imagawa Yoshimoto (and a worried Tadatsugu is loitering around because he’s not allowed to meet Yasu).

Never got around to see Saizo, and I only saw Yukkin’s first AU route… and at the time he’s away from the clan, so there’s no Saizo or anything.

Kiyomasa「The thing about him and me, how about you just have a look at it?」

(*) This "people” (the text literally says “them) is mysterious/not explained. I think it’s Kiyomasa and Masanori, tho. Since Kiyomasa is the one answering Mitsun when he asked about the mysterious “them”.

OMG, I’M SO HYPE FOR HIDE. PLEASE EXPLAIN HIS MYSTERIOUS PAST PLEASE.
