GTK! (Get To Know!) Hello! Project – Country Musume。 (1999)

On November 5, 2014, it was announced that Country Musume was renamed Country Girls and 5 new girls were added: Inaba Manaka and Yamaki Risa from Hello Pro Kenshuusei and Morito Chisaki, Shimamura Uta and Ozeki Mai from the Morning Musume ‘14 (Golden) Audition!. Satoda Mai would be the group’s general manager/supervisor. In 2019: Satoda Mai has been making several appearances in Japanese 'lifestyle’ magazines. She also has been living in New York since 2014. Miuna is currently signed under the agency Prestige and works as a love columnist for 4MEEE. – src (hello! project fandom)

GTK! (Get To Know!) Hello! Project – v-u-den (2004) 

After Ishikawa graduated from legendary group Morning Musume., it was decided that she would focus on activities with brand new band v-u-den alongside Okada who had just been selected from the Hello! Pro Egg auditions 2004 and Miyoshi. The band is known to be centered around Ishikawa but this didn’t prevent both members Miyoshi and Okada to become part of the few iconic idols in H!P. v-u-den was and remains one of the most popular idol groups in Hello! Project. They indeed impressed the fans with sexy looks and cute songs, one of the most anecdotal examples being Aisu Kuriimu to My Purin’s live performances. In 2019: Okada is now devoted to the beauty business, she has been a model for Grace Agency since 2011 and launched her own clothing brand named ‘Ivora’, two years later. Miyoshi has been MCing the show 「ジョシスタあいく的」 alongside YU-A and Maikawa Aiku since June of last year (2018).

GTK! (Get To Know!) Hello! Project – Melon Kinen-Bi (1999) 

Melon Kinen-Bi was created between August 1999 and December of the same year. Harshly criticized for their lack of ‘personality’, Melon Kinen-Bi managed to proved their haters wrong two years later, releasing their three biggest successes Chance of LOVE, Kōsui and the iconic Akai Freesia. The band’s musical style is pop with (trendy at the time) R&B beats, distinguishing the girls from their fellow idols with a more mature image. In 2019: Murata &Ootani are now part of the duo Muratani Shimai since 2016. Their first single (Reborn /Sono Hi Made) was sold exclusively during the ‘Muratani Todoro no Enshuai’ (むらたに☆とどるの恩楽会) event @ Shinjuku Loft, in April 2017. It is not available on the market.
