I am just reading fanwork of BSD and AC when my mind wandering and led me into thinking:

Dazai of BSD VS Reborn of KHR,

Who would win in term of just intelligent?

Who would win in term of overall strength?

Here I would offer my opinion, which probably contain some loophole because I was thinking this while typing.

If this was only battle of intelligence, of brain and wits I will say that Dazai Osamu is the winner.

But if this battle is direct strength or in the battlefield where Dazai can't manipulate his way to safe himself then Reborn is the winner.

BSD to me is novel and manga that always highlighted the philosophy and the brain burning strategies. One of the main theme of this work is information war. Because as long as people know what kind of power other have there's always some way to defeat or avoid them.

KHR on the other hand is the typical shounen manga MC. It's the power strength and friendship that always come out to the top. Intelligence while exist, it's not really that many. Or even rarely explained in the manga.

Reborn as tutor and hitman is in no way stupid. Especially if he can tutor everything from math to economy. Especially when making plan for Tsuna & his famiglia to train even in the face of real crisis, the example is when Mukuro first came out and the future arc (granted, the future arc is more do or die and it's not like there's option of backing out in worst case scenario).

The balance between making Tsuna and his famiglia facing the real risk of death while also subtlety ensuring their life is actually the things that test about Reborn's capacity of planning.

Ofc maybe Reborn actually are that confidence with his power, but I like to think that after what's happened to make him Arcobaleno and the disadvantage of having body like baby making him become more cautious.

But because there's no panel to show it, it's hard to know how far is his intelligence.

So yes, that's how I think about how it goes.

Though who knows?
