i know you just barely posted that dca tidbit but im FREAKING OUT bc ive seen no one else think of them this way!!!!! ive always thought it was like. when chuck e cheese comes out for a second or something, just to hang around for a bit before disappearing back up into their room.

the angst potential is CRAZY with how utterly lonely the attendants are, and how they want to stick around and actually help with the child care, (like say a kid scrapes their knee, and a human worker brushes Sun to the side to deal with it because its "safer for a person to do it") PLUS. plus. imagine how badly they want a friend? a real and true friend, not kids they see maybe twice or three times, because i'd imagine a lot cycle through the daycare, and not the caretakers who watch the children seem to just ignore him. a REAL friend. idk im spitballing. seriously jazzed that someone else has thought about this perspective of the daycare attendants, im this close to writing my own fic since theres nothing like it <//3

idk I think its so interesting that their room is positioned where it is???? like so high above the daycare, they have a little balcony where they're almost unattainable!!!! just to be seen but never interacted with (kind of like what you said with the chuck e cheese thing!)

the thing with security breach and ruin is that we only get to see sun and moon in the daycare AFTER HOURS!!!! which means we have no idea how the daycare ACTUALLY runs when its open!!! so we can only speculate and theorize... but honestly I think it is super super telling with the way sun handles gregory!

comes in, sees an UNSUPERVISED kid when the daycare is closed, so he takes it upon himself to watch over this kid!!!! finally he can have some interaction!!!!!!

but even when he's WITH gregory, he just sets him down and then... does nothing. just watches him, does his little idle animation, but doesn't DO anything with him!!!! almost like he's excited to make a new friend but is so so timid and doesn't know what to do because!!! he's never actually DONE this before!

maybe I'll draw something for this one day. who knows. but yeah the angst potential is crazy. imagine being so isolated and away from everyone else (bc sun and moon don't have the glamrocks! the daycare is so far away from all that stuff!) and cooped up in your room. I would be a bit neurotic too. and also so so desperate for a new friend......

Have a art dump from yesterday since it was my last day of school yesterday and now I am on summer vacay (sunny boy is a dca ripoff my friend made randomly and I love him very much hehe) and dont take the last moon seriously ofc he's just a little in the clouds (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)

Yippee‼️‼️ I am going to be properly working on my aus now and will most likely start posting the first one by late next week(Thursday-Sunday)

I guess that means I have to make a posting schedule for each of my aus uh oh

Aus I will be working on:

Celestial tide extravaganza- moon and sun are in charge of a water park and they find yn who is a merperson woahh, and the guys keep them there by pretending like they're a new mermaid attraction that helps out(this au wont have any lore it is only for shenanigans (⁠人⁠ ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠))

Shattered shadows at bay- sun and moon are cryptic(?) like entities that took over a discarded animatronic body (the regular dca body) and they integrated themselves into society, working at a daycare! Since they don't need to charge they stay awake at all times and they don't necessarily have anything they do during their free time so they start a series of killings that only target at people that harm children and they meet yn who is a frequent parent at their daycare and the three quickly become friends! Each having secrets of their own ofc (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

Starlights galore- sun and moon are performers for the faz co company, eclipse ran away from the company which led to faz making sun and moon. Yn was tasked to decommission the pair by a unknown source and masks themselves as a prop/costume designer + handler for the boys!(They have a strict deadline of a year) Sun and moon are aware there is someone trying to deactivate them so they are trying their best to escape from the company like their older model did so they can pursue personal passions and live a life of peace. Maybe their new friend can help them with their escape plan!(⁠✯⁠ᴗ⁠✯⁠)

Sorry for this info dump here ik this was supposed to be a art post but I would like to get this out of the way so when I start posting my aus people can come here to get a idea of what I'm doing (⁠ﾉ⁠◕⁠ヮ⁠◕⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠*⁠.⁠✧

Also all of the aus will mostly have no romantic relationships involving the dca, YN (sorry self shippers I just don't know how to portray romance and I'd like to go with a friendship thing:[)

I wish you luck with your endeavors with the Sleuths- all I'm gonna say is that I ended up simping for/ releating heavily to Y/N in that story-

Okay okay back to THE MEAT-

I don't wanna ruin any plot peices however, the idea that Y/N shows the boys how people are supposed to treat them seems like a important peice of the pie.

I can fully imagine this super shy Y/N learn about how shittily their current "handler" is being and get Sun to talk about said treatment giving him a safe space. Mind you maybe this comes up in casual conversation and Sun says it like it's no big deal.

Do you this this Y/N would be proactive in their want to help Sun/Moon? (Of course once they get to know them more cuz anxiety is fun)

*Deep breath* As an anxiety riddled idiot myself... I will absolutely bend over backwards and go out of my way and basically ruin myself to help someone in need I'm even slightly close to? It is a problem lol. BUT that said, I DO feel like this YN would be an absolute bleeding heart, and while they aren't really 'well off' themself, especially if we go the artist route (ordering out that much just for a chance to talk to this dude would hurt their wallet -oh god is this a crush or just the crippling loneliness theyd didn't realize they had???-) learning even a bit about how they're doing this job for some other human thats basically forcing them to or they'll kick them to the curb would light a blind rage inside. It would take a bit to actually manifest into action though. Don't wanna overstep or push too hard cause what if saying something about that would push them away from you? What if one day you said the wrong thing, and then the next time they made a delivery they just... Handed the food off and left. Like they're supposed to. What if they DIDN'T sit around and talk for fifteen-twenty minutes, or make sure that your delivery was the last stop so they could make some excuse to stay over for the night(Moons introduction pending???)

What if you lost your currently only local... friend? Are you friends? Becuase YOU thought something that's working for them is bad and YOU want them to change their whole life just cause YOU're reading too much into a situation? But talking more, realizing they're actually unhappy about it, cause this human is NOT their friend as much as they claim them to be(realizing they call them their friend to be polite but it always lacks the same bounce and energy as when he calls YOU friend, or sunshine, or any other cute little pet name he's picked out for the day).  It always falls flat. Like it's forced. Like the lines of his smile strain when he dips into discussing his personal life... No, that's too heartbreaking, for such a wonderful sweet PERSON like him to have to deal with. They have their freedom now, but they're still being treated like a tool? Not on your watch. You start making the effort of inviting him to stay over, and it starts to become second nature, even on days when you havent ordered food, to hear the soft knock on your front door, different patterns but always the same tone, that you have a visitor for the night. CUE MOON REVEAL. Because everyone loves a sudden power outage. He's WELL aware of how friendly you've been with Sun, casually commenting in the back of his mind, convinced there's something wrong with you and teasing constantly BUT he also is under the full belief that you're full of shit and using him somehow. There's an ulterior motive. There has to be. So far out of every human they've interacted with, you're the only one that treats them THIS different. Yeah some are nice enough, but the interactions are short and dismissive. The guy they work for now is a complete dick and insists Moon not be let out at all. He's scared of him, and for good reason. He's tired of being cooped up though, so when you and Sun were sitting in the livingroom, something queued up on the TV, you working on a commission on the couch with the golden animatronic crosslegged on the floor and leaning back against the seat next to you.. Well. Lights out, and time for an introduction. He had a hunch you were considering asking about him staying with you, but you still had no idea there was this other side to sun. And Moon is about to push ALL of the buttons that should make you abort. He's very good at that. He knows better than to kill you, though. Sun wouldn't forgive him. But if he can make you show off your true colors, how you'd handle Moon, if you'd make the same cruel decision to keep him locked away and missing his half of this new freedom, well. That's one thing he and Sun had talked about in the past. Something that always made him hesitate to mention Moon existing. He was scared Moon would be right.
