Skeletons in the Closet-Two
Biker!Neighbor!Steve Rogers x Wealthy!Good Girl!Reader High School Au
Warnings-Swearing, sandals, attempted kidnapping, kidnapping, cheating, smoking, drinking, alcoholics, drug addicts, bullying, illegitimate children, abuse, and violence
With all the money the Mitchel’s have, many assume their lives are as picture perfect as they seem. Behind the glamorous vacations, luxurious mansion, and success that everyone sees, their lives are far from it. The only heir to the fortune, their perfect daughter Y/N, faces the worst of it. Beneath her perfectly curled hair and her flawless grades, is a closet full of skeletons just waiting to get out.
Their next door neighbor, Steven Grant Rogers, is far from your typical boy next door. He wore a leather jacket rather than button ups, sweat shirts, and tees like the boys in the movies. He opted for a smirk rather than a sweet smile. And to top it all off he chose a motorcycle over whatever you’d picture a cute boy in. But then again, Steve Rogers wasn’t cute, he was irresistible.
Atleast to most girls. Y/N refuses to give into the boy that likes to cloud her thoughts. The last thing she needs is a biker added to the list of things to keep from the media. A lot is expected from the heiress, and at the top of the list, right under taking over the empire, is having the perfect image. A hot, dirty biker is the last thing her image needs. However, her needs differ greatly from those of her image. And compared to everything else she keeps hidden, the media wouldn’t give Steve a second thought.
Tumblr media
Besides being private and attended by the offspring of the wealthy, your high school was much like any other. Maybe it was all a bit nicer, but it still had many of the same problems. Your gym and locker always had a smell, regardless of how recently it was all redone or how often it was clean. For example, yours had been redone again last year and is cleaned daily, but still smells like dirty socks and sweat. There are cliques, not quite as extreme as many movies show them to be, but everyone has a group. You have yours, which primarily consists of those that actually give a shit about earning the future set out before them. You were all 4.0 students with a company or brand just waiting for you to reach a certain age. And lastly, your school still had bullies. Your eyes flick to where the cheerleaders were sitting, specifically Jackie Erickson. She gets her kicks from tormenting you, primarily because there is nothing you could do about it. As if she could hear your thoughts, she shoots a glance your way, still hanging all over the jock in her lap. Trevor Andrews. He was on the football team and that's where your knowledge of him ended. He and Jackie had been inseparable for the last week or so, which meant his time is about up. She never keeps them around for long.
You look away, trying to avoid any of Jackie’s attention but in the process turn to meet another set of eyes. These ones are crystal blue and even more stunning up close. Steve Rogers had his own group. Everyone knew their names. Bucky Barnes is his best friend and never far when there’s trouble. Everyone knows Sam Wilson, he’s friendly with a smart mouth that either gets him out of trouble into it, figuring out which is like flipping a coin. A good portion of the school is afraid of Natasha Romanova. She’s known to be a bit ruthless and has been arrested more than a few times but her dad is a big shot lawyer that manages to get her out of the trouble she’s always in. She’s practically in Bucky’s lap which leads you to believe they’re dating again. They’re one of those couples that are in an endless cycle of on again and off again. You and Nat were best friends in elementary school but faded apart as you grew and became such different people. You’re ready to continue scanning their group when a voice is cleared next to you.
“You’re staring,” Wanda chuckles. Wanda has been by your side all through high school. Your fathers are business associates which means the two of you will still be working together as adults when you take over. Wanda’s situation was a bit different because she and her twin brother, Pietro, are both set to inherit Maximoff Incorporated. They would be partners in everything which is beyond frustration for Wanda. Her brother isn’t as driven or focused on their future. In fact, he was probably behind the school with his friends at the very moment smoking. He’s befriended a handful of potheads and they aren’t very good at hiding it, even at school. You didn’t have anything against them, more the fact that they’re throwing away everything they have. Half of this lifestyle is the image others see.
Yours, for example, is very put together. Your hair is always in soft curls, typically pinned back around your temples, and you keep a simple but shimmery makeup look. It was a bit of a hassle but your mother insisted on creating your own brand. She also makes sure your clothing sticks with it. Everything you own is neutral and soft. Colors primarily white, cream, light pink, and occasionally a light gray. You were allowed jeans as long as they were a light wash or a dark wash, no in between and definitely no holes.
“I need to run to my locker,” You stand quickly and smooth down your skirt, “See you at lunch?’ Wanda nods and you’re off. The day had barely started and you were already to be alone on your balcony underneath the stars.
You find your locker, quickly turning the combination. As you’re opening it, a hand above you presses it closed. You turn to find your body enclosed by Steve Roger’s. His black leather jacket back and hanging open to reveal his whit tee, sunglasses hanging from the neckline.
“Hey, doll,” He whispers, “I couldn’t find you after our little exchange Friday.”
“I left,” You say through your clenched teeth, trying not to think about how amazing he smells. Or how gorgeous he is this close.
His smirk grows, “You know I would have been more than happy to give you a ride.” You glare back but have to crane your neck a bit due to his height. “On my bike.”
“Maybe next time,” You bite out, pushing him back and reopening your locker to get your binder and a pen. This time when you turn around, Steve is gone.
“Having fun with biker boy, are we?” You hear Jackie’s voice and flinch a little. She steps in front of you, “How would that make daddy feel?” She pauses, expecting a response. She won’t get one. You stopped responding years ago, sick of giving her the satisfaction. She twirls a black strand of her hair, “Tell him hi for me.” With that she struts down the hallway and you roll your eyes at her antics.
Too long later, you’re finally home and out of that hellhole. Changing into some silk shorts and a matching tank, you put on your thin robe and step out onto your balcony with a book. You’d finished the homework for the week ahead of you and now had some you time. You have a lounger off to one side which has been your designated reading spot for years now.
In no time, you’ve dozed off, your book spread across your chest, until the sound of something hits the ground next to you. You’re instantly awake but manage to keep your eyes shut, slowly cracking them to see what was happening. Someone had just jumped over your balcony.

Hobbit Fic: Gemini
AO3
Bilbo may be a Baggins of a Bag End, but his twin sister Bella inherited all their mother’s Tookish tendencies. If one Hobbit burglar is good, surely two will be better… right?
Rating: G
Wow... it’s been FOREVER since I last updated. If you’ve been waiting, welcome back! And if you’re new to the AU, just plain welcome!
Chapter 16: At the Sign of the Prancing Pony
Tumblr media
Kili was grinning like a maniac.
As he bustled past with another tray piled high with dishes of cobbler, Ori smiled to herself and turned to a fresh page in her sketchbook to capture the way his hair clung to his sweaty face, and the way his eyes gleamed in the firelight, equal parts proud and excited. The Prancing Pony’s common room was a bustling, sweltering hive of activity, and Kili was right at home at the center of it.
Word of cranberry apple cobbler had spread through Bree like wildfire, with first the local hobbits, then big folk and even travelers showing up, and more and more ingredients had been donated to the cause. Now, the place had the air of a festival day - all laughter and color and unrestrained merriment.
Bilbo supervised the kitchen staff in the preparation of his secret - though apparently famous in the lands in and around the Shire- family recipe. Meanwhile, Kili had taken it upon himself to head up the small army of volunteers eager to lend a hand in exchange for a bit of dessert - and a peek at the apparently famous recipe, Ori suspected. Some, he turned over to the inn’s head cook, who directed them in arranging a frankly impressive spread of cold meats and cheeses, pickled vegetables, day-old bread, and fresh fruit. Others, he put to serving and collecting dishes. Still others worked with Dwalin to find places for everyone to sit. Under his eye, dinner had spilled out of the inn’s common room and into the square outside, with the latest arrivals laying out blankets and towels when the tables and chairs ran out.
Though Kili’s enthusiasm for the party was infectious, he wouldn’t hear of the other company members lifting a finger.
“More’n enough help to be gettin’ on with,” Dwalin had growled in agreement, and he’d installed Ori and her sisters at what he declared was the best table to watch the proceedings. Nori disappeared within the hour, but Ori and Dori were enjoying the evening of relaxation.
Bella materialized out of the throng with three cups in hand.
“What’s that then?” Gloin demanded from the next table over, as Bella passed a cup each to Ori and Dori. The banker was already well into his own cups and was growing embarrassingly belligerent.
“Dandelion wine,” Bella chirped, apparently unbothered by his gruff manner. “Butterbur’s ale is fine enough, I’ll warrant, but this time of year, nothing beats his dandelion wine.”
“Bah!” Gloin downed the rest of the ale in his cup. “You halflings are all starry-eyed over nothing! Never been out yer little hidey-holes!”
Bella shrugged, unwilling to let Gloin get under her skin, though Ori’s artist’s eye noticed the faint pink tinge that made the freckles on her cheeks stand out. “It’s Bilbo’s first time out this far, true enough, but I’ve been out this way plenty of times.” She turned her back resolutely on Gloin’s table and addressed Ori and Dori instead. “Never could sit still, you see. Always something to do or someplace to go. Bilbo shares my taste for little adventures, of course. He just prefers his come out of a book, where he won’t get burrs in his toe hair.”
“He’ll be facing a great deal worse than burrs in his toe hair,” Thorin rumbled suddenly from behind Ori’s shoulder, making her jump and slosh wine onto her sketchbook.
Bella whipped out a pretty little embroidered handkerchief, and Ori had the fleeting thought that she’d like to sketch the little purple flowers from the border sometime, before Gloin snatched it away with a bitter laugh. “Don’ tell me,” he slurred. “Chrys-s-san...Chrysanth...Chrys’mums for cleanin’!”
“Belladonna, Master Gloin,” Bella sniffed, snatching the cloth right back again and attacking the spill as Dori pulled out her own handkerchief to help. “A gift from my dear cousin Otho on his last birthday. I figured a little adventure like this was the perfect chance to misplace it.” She held out the dripping sketchbook. “Here, Ori. I’ll let you take care of that. You’ll know better than anyone what can be done about it.”
“My apologies, Ori,” Thorin said gently. He passed over his own handkerchief to aid in the cleanup effort. “I will stop in the market for a new book first thing in the morning.”
“No need for that,” Ori hastened to assure him. “I was going to stop for a couple of spares in the morning anyway.” She blotted away more wine from the cover. “Most of this one’s in charcoal anyway, so once it dries, I can sharpen up any blurred lines, and it’ll be good as new.”
Thorin smiled away her protest, and Ori knew she’d lost this particular argument already. “Knowing you, that one is near full already.” Dori started to protest as well, but Thorin countered her argument expertly. “It is a company matter: we cannot have a scribe without a proper supply of books. I’ll find a replacement and some spares tomorrow. I insist.”
There was nothing Ori could say to that, and the soft smile Bella hid behind her wine glass said she knew it too. Thorin was too good sometimes.
“Whatever an ‘Old Took’ is, it can move mountains in this part of the world!” Kili flopped into the chair Dori had just pulled out for Thorin.
“Here,” Bella chirped up at Thorin. “You can have my seat. We’re about due for a refill anyway. Anyone else want anything? Kili? Thorin?”
Kili started to answer, but Thorin cut across him as Gloin banged his fist on the table he was sharing with Oin. “We are drawing more than enough attention to ourselves already.”
“Nonsense,” Bella answered. “If you’d only put on that smile again and lend a hand, you’d blend right in with the rest of the crowd. No one need ever know they’d shared dessert with a grumpy dwarven king.” She slipped away through the crowd with her armful of glasses before Thorin could answer back.
“She’ll be in a sorry state come morning,” Gloin groused suddenly.
“Nah,” Kili answered at once. “Looks to me like halflings can hold their liquor just as well as we can.”
“Better than some, I hope,” Thorin muttered.
Kili laughed. “I don’t know… Nori’s got herself in a drinking contest with one of them back in the corner, and he’s matching her drink for drink. Not sure where either of them is putting it, if I’m being honest. Four helpings of cobbler, too. Each! Not that I blame them,” he babbled happily, still grinning and paying more attention to the room in general than he was to the dwarves at the table. “Phenomenal. Better than Ma’s - and that’s saying something!”
“Cheats!” Gloin bellowed suddenly.
Kili whirled, confused.
“Cheats, the lot of ‘em! Anyone could cook like that with the vendors on their side! Take my wife! Take my wife! Excellent cook! Best in the Blue Mountains - meanin’ no offense to your lady mother. Jus’ a fact. Best in the Blue Mountains. But even she - even my wife! - would have a hard time competing with these halfling cooks when every little thing she needs costs her an arm and a leg. Inferior quality, too, I’ll warrant!”
The others at the table were dumbstruck by this outburst, but thankfully the rest of the room seemed to be too loud and chaotic for it to have attracted much more attention than that.
“It’d be silly to let such a small matter as -” Dori began, but Gloin cut her off, chest puffing up as he slammed his fist on the table again.
“Small? Small! They’re downright dimn-dimin...diminuitive! What business have they got cooking so well? What do they do with it all? They’re so tiny!”
Kili frowned and peered around at some of the nearest hobbits. “They’re not that small.”
Gloin scoffed. “Half-lings, lad,” he said loudly. “Half. They don’ call ‘em that on account o’ bein’ large!”
If they weren’t drawing undue attention before, they were now. The conversation around them soured and then died. Ori saw Thorin’s shoulders shift and knew his hand was going for the hilt of a knife.
“Come on, Gloin,” Dori said, as though nothing at all were the matter. She stood and hauled him upright as well. “Why don’t you show me that picture you brought of your dear wife, hmm? I heard you telling Dwalin it was quite a flattering likeness, but you haven’t shown me yet.”
Gloin blinked blearily. “Haven’ I?” He lurched away from the table, only Dori’s strong grip on his arm keeping him vertical. “Well, come on, then. No time like the presen’, I always say. Righ’ flatterin’ likeness. Righ’ flatterin’.”
The tension slowly eased around their table as Gloin was escorted upstairs, but Thorin did not look particularly relieved. Ori patted some more at her damp sketchbook to keep her hands busy, while Kili tried to work out how Gloin managed to win their argument.
“Halflings,” he muttered as Bella returned with refilled glasses and Fili at her side. “Half. Lings. Half-lings…”
“We are hobbits, Kili,” Bella said shortly as she took up Dori’s vacated seat. Fili spun Gloin’s chair to join their table. “We are not half of anything.”
“I meant no offense,” Kili was quick to assure her.
“None,” Fili confirmed. “That’s just what the men call your folk.”
“Elves too!” Kili added emphatically.
Bella snorted. “In that case, I should be calling your folk Naugrim.”
Kili made a face. “What’s that mean?
“Stunted people,” Ori blurted, before she could think better of it. Her cheeks flushed as Thorin growled.
Bella paled. “Perhaps it would be best if we agreed to leave the more ill-considered aspects of Elvish nomenclature aside.”
“So, if you’re hobbits,” Ori ventured, eager to talk about something that wasn’t likely to make Thorin any angrier, “are their different words for male and female? Like dwarves and dams?” She flipped through until she found a page in her book that was mostly dry.
“Ooh!” Kili exclaimed. “Wom-bit?”
“Nah, Ki,” Fili answered. “That’s that rat-thing from Balin’s stories about the Dark Land.”
“Fine. She-bit?”
“Gal-bit,” Fili countered.
Kili grinned. “Fe-bit!”
Fili blushed, but he was saved from further embarrassment by the arrival of Bella’s brother, who flopped down onto the arm of her chair with a pleased huff. “Well, that’s the last of it!” He passed a cup to Kili. “For my assistant! You have to try this!”
“What is it?” Kili asked, the cup already halfway to his lips.
“Only the best dandelion wine I’ve ever tasted,” Bilbo declared happily, taking a swig of his own.
Kili swallowed hard and started to cough.
“What’s the matter?” Bella asked, clearly alarmed by his reaction. “Don’t you like it?”
Ori glanced from Kili and Fili to their uncle and back again. She was not at all sure that was a story any of them wanted repeated.
“Might like it a bit too much, if mem’ry serves!” Dwalin clapped both Kili and Fili hard on the shoulders as he strode up. “Come give us a hand, lads. They want dancing.”
“Twist my arm,” Kili laughed, clearly relieved. He bowed low and offered Bella his hand. “Care for a dance, fair Lady Bell?”
Bella giggled and gulped down the rest of her wine before reaching for his hand. Fili swooped in and grabbed Kili instead, twirling away with him. “There are tables to move first, dear brother,” he said formally. Bella laughed outright and followed them out to where several of the men were already shoving tables out to the edges of the floor.
“What about you, Master Baggins?” Thorin asked. “Do you share your sister’s love of dancing?”
Bilbo chuckled, but flopped down into his sister’s chair. “Normally, I’d say yes, Master Oakenshield, but alas, my poor feet have already taken quite the beating these past few days. I think they’d prefer a rest while I enjoy the festivities from afar.”
“We have much farther to go,” was all Thorin said in reply.
The musicians started up, and for a few minutes, the three of them were content to watch. “Will you join the dancing, Ori?”
“Oh, no,” Ori said, blushing as she watched Dwalin and Fili stomp out a complicated figure in the middle of the dancefloor, to much clapping and cheering. “I’d much rather sketch. Everyone is so merry tonight, it’d be a shame to forget about it later.”
Bilbo sighed contentedly and settled back in the chair, sipping at his wine. “I can see the draw of it all now, I suppose. The travelling, I mean. I can understand a bit of why Bella would want to run off, if this was what was waiting for her.”
Ori opened her mouth to answer, to tell Bilbo how sweet a thought that was, but Thorin beat her to it. “There is more to the world than baking and dancing, Master Baggins,” he rumbled.
Bilbo was quiet for a minute, staring determinedly at the dancers, while Thorin lit his pipe, and Ori dared hope that would be the end of it. Bilbo had made so many people so happy today. It wasn’t fair of Thorin to shove reality back in his face so rudely. He was only trying to help.
Suddenly, Bilbo whirled and pinned Thorin with a glare. “I know full well the world is full of rainstorms and thunder, Master Oakenshield,” he spat. “But it seems to me that there is then even more reason to savor the sunshine when it chooses to peek out from behind the clouds.” He stared a moment longer, but Thorin didn’t appear to have anything to say to that, and Bilbo nodded to himself. He finished his drink, blushing fiercely - he had freckles, just like his sister - and marched over to join the dancing.
Ori drank some more wine to cover her own embarrassment, and she sketched in the drier margins of her book - Dwalin’s wide grin as he clapped for a hobbit lass dancing a jig, Fili twirling Bella, Kili teaching Bilbo the steps to a dwarvish dance, Bofur piping with the other musicians, Nori listing to the side as a group of hobbits and men declared her the winner of her drinking contest and passed over a small purse…
Other than asking if Ori required another refill on her drink, Thorin did not say a word after Bilbo left. He merely watched the room warily as he finished his pipe, then retired up the stairs.

Single Dad Support Group AU
Okay so, I know I’ve been gone and I haven't been posting and that’s due mainly to not really knowing what to write for a lot of requests or not being in the best place mentally (I’m working on it! Don’t worry!) or kinda worrying that what I’m writing isn’t good enough. And I don’t even know if you guys know that I write for Free! Iwatobai Swim Club. But this ideas been stuck in my head for a while and I just gotta get it out there. So without further adue, I present the Single Dad Support Group Au.
Basics
Okay so it was Gou’s idea to start the group, mainly because her brother’s a mess and has no idea what he’s doing and the others aren’t any better
They make Makoto the head of the group because he’s the one who seems to know what he’s doing the most
This AU includes the boys form the movies but not the third season, I haven’t seen it yet
Makoto, Haru, Nagisa, and Rin are all still friends from swim club and thats how they all joined the club. Rei lives in the same building as Nagisa so he got dragged in that way. Ai and Sousuke joined because of Rin. Kisumi joined because Makoto invited him and he brought along Asahi who in turn brought Ikuya... eventually.
~
Makoto:
Makoto has twins, two beautiful little girls both 10 years old. One called Aiko and the other called Hina. While both look almost completely identical to each other, Aiko has Makoto’s eyes where as Hina has their mothers, a beautiful deep brown.
The twins mother dyed in a house fire when the girls were 3 years old, while the three have mainly moved on there is still a lot of grief over what happened
Makoto works at a childcare centre, it works with the girls schedules since they have school and then head off to their respective clubs before all meeting again to head home. Everything is relatively close by. Makoto takes the weekends off so he can spend time with them and so he can attend the fathers support group
On the topic of clubs, lets talk about the girls for a second
Aiko is the shyer of the two. She’s younger by a couple of minutes and is more artistic than her sister. She’s apart of her schools art club and is actually rather talented. She prefers to wear shorts and teeshirts along with sneakers because they’re more comfortable and if the school has a uniform she’d much rather wear the boys, mainly because it’s comfortable and that way she doesn’t need to worry as much about getting paint on her. It unfortunately gets all over her clothes and Makoto has to spend every night cleaning it out
Hina is the sportier of the two. She’s a member of her schools soccer club. She’s also the one who gets in the most fights. She’s not one to sit idly by when someone’s being picked on, unfortunately this ends with her fists most of the time. Hina prefers to wear dresses and skirts when she's not playing sport. She’s also very interested in things like makeup and design, but doesn’t really have a talent for it. Her clothes often end up covered in mud if she’s playing sport or not. Makoto ends up with a lot of washing
Makoto is the member of the group who looks like he’s got his shit together. He somehow manages to make enough money to care for all of them, have time to attend all the important life events and club things, have a loving and close relationship with his daughters, and still somehow make time to cook and clean for not only his family but Haru’s as well
When the girls were younger Makoto used to jog with them in a stroller. Let’s just say he was pretty popular with the ladies and still is
But it’ll take someone very special to distract him from his girls
Haru:
Haru’s a mess
He loves his daughter, Nami, he really does. But sometimes he can hardly take care of himself
Haru is a divorced father. He actually got married but started questioning his sexuality shortly after, and realised he was gay when Nami was 1. The divorce wasn’t messy, his ex wife understood that sometimes it takes a long time to work things like sexuality out and she doesn’t hold it against him. They have joint custody of Nami but she stays with Haru most of the time since her mother travels a lot for work, she does send gifts though
Nami is currently 8 and is the spitting image of her father, just a girl. She’s also quite like him as well. Both share a love for swimming and the water and both are quite socially awkward. Naimi doesn’t have too many friends outside of the other kids in the help group, Makoto get’s worried about her sometimes. But Haru isn’t. Nami may be shy and socially awkward but she’s not weak. She’s just like water. Gentle yet strong.
Haru works as a swimming instructor at the local pool. He could have gone pro as a swimmer, and almost did, but wanted to focus on raising his daughter instead.
Haru spends most of his off time at Makoto’s house, as a result the three girls are very close and I pity anyone who picks on Nami because they will catch Hina’s hands
Nami know’s somethings probably up between her dad and Makoto but she doesn’t ask. She loves him now and if anything happens with Makoto she’ll love him then, she’ll just gain two sisters out of it
Nagisa:
You know who else is a mess? Nagisa
Nagisa had a similar situation it Haru where he realised he wasn’t straight. While he wasn’t gay he wasn’t attracted to the woman he was with anymore. The two weren’t married but the custody fight was hard. His ex moved across the country after the split and took their son and daughter with her. He had to fight to be able to see them and the two eventually agreed that during holidays they would be with Nagisa and during school they’d stay with their mother.
Nagisa has a son and a daughter, the son being the younger of the two at 9 and his daughter being 10. His son is called Kaede and his daughter is called Mami. Kaede is the more mellow of the two, Mami having inherited her fathers joy for life. Kaede is rather quite and scared of people at first but quickly warms up to them, especially if his sister is there to show that they aren’t a thread and are nice. He’s a sweet boy with a huge sweet tooth who looks just like their father. Mami on the other hand is loud and bubbly and makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s a giant ball of sunshine who spreads smiles and happiness everywhere. She has her fathers eyes but long, straight brown hair.
Nagisa kind of act like a child, even with kids. He’s a young spirit who will play games with the two endlessly and let them win just to see them smile. He takes them out for ice cream and cannot say no to them ever
Nagisa works with Makoto at the childcare centre but also works nights at his local diner, he wants to be able to pamper his kids when they’re with him and while they aren't. He sends gifts all the time and often pays more child support than he needs too.
Nagisa is also pretty active on the dating scene. While he doesn’t go on dates when his kids are in town, he’ll often be seen at speed dating nights when they aren’t around and is one of the few in the group who still goes out drinking and clubbing. Gotta live while you’re young, after all
Rei:
Okay, so Rei ended up with a son because he accidentally got this girl pregnant and she didn’t want the child so Rei offered to take full custody of the child, who is currently only 2
He works a desk job and his son is enrolled at the daycare that Makoto and Nagisa work at
His son is called Michi and is a very inquisitive toddler. He seems to be at the stage of life where he will grab anything and everything and put it in his mouth. He will get anywhere he wants whether he has to crawl, walk, climd, or jump and has ended up in places that have given Rei a heart attack. Other than having a knack for getting himself in a tight spot Michi is a good natured boy who bares a striking resemblance to his father, we may have a mini me here
Rei is the kind of dad who really needs a break. He works all day and them picks up Michi and takes care of him all night. He’s a great father, don’t get me wrong, but boy is tired and his boss works him way to hard
Rei and Nagisa are relatively close. Nagisa has hit on him a few times but Rei hasn’t reciprocated which lead Nagisa to believe he wasn’t into men. However, when Nagisa had one of his female friends over and they hit on Rei he didn't respond either. Nagisa isn’t sure what Rei is looking for and kind of wants to take him to speed dating just to see what happens. Rei refuses, claiming he doesn’t have time for such things.
In what little time Rei does have to himself he reads and does quiet things... or he just naps. God knows he needs it.
Rin:
I give you the epitome of a child who is just like you
Rin’s son, Nobu who is 9, is literally the spitting image of his father and has the same loud and competitive personality. Nobu love swimming and thinks of his father as his idol, since Rin is a professional swimmer. Nodu values his friends a lot, of which he has many. Nobu is the type of child that the other children swarm too. He’s a natural born leader and an all around good kid. He’s just like his dad
Rin has shared custody of his son with his ex girlfriend. The two were long term until she cheated on him while he was away for a competition. Rin didn’t want to make a big deal out of it in front of Nobu but it’s a cold relationship now, they don’t talk much outside of their son. They’re civil about everything. Rin vents to Souske about it every week
As mentioned before, Rin is a professional athlete now. Not much to say about it other than he’s good at what he does and his son idolises him a little
Rin’s a great fucking dad. While he’s a little bit of a mess in terms of forgetting playdates and some important school events he’s very loving to his son and if his son asked him to show up somewhere right that moment he’d drop everything and rush to whatever event he missed or play whatever game he wanted. Rin also takes Nobu on the best holidays, his mother needs to keep up because last golden week they went to Hawaii and had the best time ever
Rin taught is son personally how to swim, the only other person he’d trust to teach his swimming prodigy of a son his Haru
Speaking of Haru let’s talk about how their kids get along
Nobu has a giant crush on Nami and Hina is not pleased. While Hina doesn’t necessarily dislike Nobu but she also has a crush on Nami and thinks Nobu is too loud for the quite girl. Akio has no opinion on the matter, she sees Nami as a little sister anyway
Sometimes Rin has Got babysit for him and Nobu loves her a lot, they’re very close and You spoils him
Sousuke:
He’s wrapped around his daughter finger
She could ask him for anything and she’d get it no questions asked
She’s adorable really. 7 year old little girl. Bright blue eyes, dark hair, often seen in white. But she also knows that she can have whatever she wants from her father so she can be a brat at times
Sousuke’s relationship with his ex wife is messy. When they first divorced she took custody of their daughter, Suzu. His ex, however, was not a suitable mother, not by far. He took her to court over custody almost immediately and it was really messy, there were tears and lies everywhere. But at the end of the day he walked away with custody and Suzu was away from a mother who couldn’t/wouldn’t take care of her
Sousuke works as a physical therapist, having experienced an injury in his younger years he didn’t handle properly he now tries to make sure young people don’t do the dumb shit he did
Sousuke takes Suzu out a lot. He thinks her getting enough fresh air and sunlight is really important. Even when she was a baby he used to take her out on jogs with him, he’d have this little baby strapped to his chest while he ran. Now he mainly takes her to the park or out on bike rides. They’re a very active pair.
Sousuke sometimes goes out on dates but its rare. On the odd occasion he does he’ll have Rin or You babysit for him. Suzu love them both like family and they all get along swimmingly.
Nittori:
So Aiichirou is a shy baby. Accept when it comes to his daughter. If anyone fucks with his daughter he will fuck you up.
He has fought the principle of the school before. Boy was yelling. He might have thrown a stapler at the ground. He’s not proud but it did get things done
His daughter, Yuuka, is 11 years old and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She’s quiet and shy and doesn’t fit in. She’s often bullied by people, which is why Ai fought the principle because he wasn’t doing shit. She has a flair for artistic design, when she’s older she might go into architecture. She’s smaller than most children her age and it’s something she’s insecure about. She has a lot of insecurities. I want to hug her.
Ai works at a bookstore and restaurant while studying chemistry at an online university.
The duo spend a lot of time watching movies together and playing video games. They also go sight seeing a lot, Yuuka likes architecture and has her own little camera she uses all the time
Nittori actually adopted his daughter. She was his sisters child who is no longer with them and after Yuuka’s father died in a car crash Nittori took the girl in and legally adopted her
Nittori is one of the few who has some idea of what he’s doing with raising a child. He's capable of taking care of her, makes sure she attends school on time, does her homework, works nights but makes sure she has diner in the fridge when he does. Makes sure she has plenty to read and expand her mind
Kisumi:
Kisumi is raising both his child and his brother. His child is a son, not five months old. The child’s mother had complications during the birth and didn’t make it. Kisumi is still very much filled with grief from this event but he’s preoccupied with raising young Yuuma.
Kisumi works from home, running an online store and runs a successful photography page online. He's very aware of online presence and is an influencer himself. Any pictures that are of his son, which are few, get the most traction. Yuuma’s a cute baby. Soft pink hair, soft green eyes, very pale. He’s adorable
Hayato is in his last year of high school at this point and loves his nephew so damn much. He helps take care of him when Kisumi has to go out and loves it so much.
Hayato may or may not be very popular with people because of this
So many people want to date him man
People just like people who are good with kids
Kisumi is also very popular because he’s good with kids, not just his own. Even before Yuuma, Kisumi knew he wanted to be a father, he loves kids
They’re a very loving family
Haru is not pleased that he’s in the group but what you gonna do?
Asahi:
Okay we have another mess
Sometimes it’s his daughter taking care of him
Asahi what are you doing, get your shit together
He works in a cafe and restaurant
His daughter is called Izumi and has bright red hair, just like her father, and soft brown eyes. She’s almost her fathers opposite. Where her father is loud and a giant mess she’s calm and somehow seems to know what she’s doing. She’s so mature for her age, she’s only 10.
Her mother died in a car crash when she was young, Asahi’s doing what he can to help but he can barely take care of himself
Someone help him, he’s trying he really is
Ikuya:
The last to join the group, Ikuya has a 10 year old daughter who is shy and socially awkward and he would do anything for her. Her name is Hibiki
Hibiki has long black hair and red eyes. She loves swimming and her dad is her favourite person. Her mothers never really been in the picture but neither are really worried about it, they have each other and that’s what matters to them
She meets Nami before she meets the other children. The two met at a swimming lesson and hit it off almost instantly, the two are so similar and both fathers are glad their daughters have friends
Ikuya is a journalist (IDK I just feel like it fits him..) and is actually pretty popular
He and Hibiki often go on swimming weekends where they’ll go on a trip somewhere they can just swim and talk. She tells him everything, they have no secrets, she trusts him with everything
Surprisingly Ikuya is also very open with her about his feelings. Not to the point where its too much for someone her age but if he’s not having the best day or has met someone he might be interested in he’ll let her know
They are each others most important person and if Ikuya is interested in someone she has to approve of them before anything happens
