the only reason why orcinyx is considered the most dangerous boss bloon is because the monkeys don't have a damn clue how to counter it

orcinyx isn't camo so camo detecting equipment is redundant and basically useless.

it tries to keep its internal temperature as low as possible so thermal measuring equipment is also useless.

it can only be found in sparsely populated regions that are difficult to access and its existence was only proven by a single photograph taken by a trail cam. (before then it was believed to be a mere myth.)

it always flees when it's attacked which makes it next to impossible to deal any significant damage to it.

so far all attempts to lure it out of hiding and ambush it have failed (it either refuses to show up or attacks and devours all the monkeys before they have a chance to do anything at all).

the monkeys don't realize that countering it is so easy that they're completely overlooking it- all they need to do is trap it. attacking it isn't even necessary because it's also really easy to keep contained. but they don't know any of this because they assume it's just like any other boss bloon

debating whether I should give orcinyx the "confusing pattern" ability (monkeys don't know where to hit so half of their attacks miss, it's like camo if it kind of sucked) or not

its pattern isn't even that confusing to look at but it would be really funny. it's so visible that the monkeys don't even know how to hit it

"how is orcinyx immune to explosions if it's weak to fire/heat???" well you see it's immune to explosions themselves and not the heat they generate. so technically it's not actually immune to explosions because of this but since a hundred or so sticky bombs would only melt it and not blast it to smithereens it still counts as being immune to explosions

having the fire element while also being weak to fire would really fucking suck. you'd have to regularly use fire attacks just so you don't overheat and die. such is the life of orcinyx

so what's the deal with the knellbellows?

also Orcinyx is disguised as a paralloon but isn't a knellbellow, so are there other dragons in the parallooniverse, or is it from the regular bloonverse and is specifically disguising itself as a paralloon?

indeed, non-extraterrestrial dragons live in the parallooniverse! thankfully, telling the difference between them and the knellbellow-related dragons is fairly easy; the latter will always have more than one pair of wings and usually more than one pair of legs/arms. parallooniverse-native dragons can shapeshift, but those related to knellbellows can't (but they possess other powerful forms of magic).

orcinyx is native to the parallooniverse, though for reasons unknown it only chose to disguise itself after being transported to the blooniverse.
