im so sorry i forgot to answer this anon. i was going to do this whole thing where i find my art tablet and move the sketch i made of ore onto the computer to roughly digitallize it, but i never did LOL so instead i'll just use this little doodle on his rough sketch page in the sketch book i loST

the short of it is, Ore's core stone! from the power stone on its chest, there's a cord that connects into its body and powers into the head piece to give ore movement. think of it as a tube connecting ore's brain to its heart.

ofc inside, ore is filled with small wires and hinges and gears for its limbs, mobility, and thinking components. but without that good ole brain-to-heart connection cable, ore isn't able to function at all. the stone is actually just a fragment of the original stone boothill had brought, so if that one ever runs out of power, then all that has to be done is replace the dead fragment with a new one!

its like a very pretty, very rare battery. and ore does have back up power incase replacing the stone isn't able to be an immediate fix. however, since ore is so small, the backup power to it is only about a day. and if that cable ever gets broken or cut, its power is significantly cut down to maybe a couple operational hours.

it really is ore's lifeline.
