Product Review : Natures One Baby's Only Organic Formula 🍼👶🏽 I tried exclusively breastfeeding for one week. Then I tried using a breast pump and tried pumping for the following 3 weeks. I wasn't producing enough milk for my daughter. I tried everything from Mother's Milk tea, oatmeal, carrots, to soups- All galactagogues, you name it... Sadly, nothing worked to UP my milk production. I felt terrible as a new Mommy. I know breastmilk is supposedly the BEST milk aka "liquid gold". I just wanted the best for my baby. As frustrating as it got, I just thought ok I'm doing everything I can. It's ok. I decided to put Ahsya on an organic newborn formula called "Happy Baby" which states on their packaging that their milk is modeled after breastmilk. I put her on it for about a week. She had perfect little poops, but as a research junkie, I came across some interesting things about baby formula! Yes, even the "organic" ones. Not just the fact that most commercial formulas main ingredient is corn syrup solids, (I already knew that! And that's why I didn't settle for Similac or Enfamil) the most interesting thing I had come across is that the DHA and ARA even in the the formulas labeled "organic" is actually derived from oils of algae and fungus (C. Cohni and M. Alpina oil) that's processed with Hexane which is classified as a neurotoxin by the CDC. My mind was blown after reading these facts about baby formula. I didn't want to give another drop of it to my precious baby girl. After weeks of research on different organic formulas, I had come across Natures One Baby's Only. The only baby formula I've found online that's sold in the U.S. that is organic, non-GMO, no bleach or acid used, contains naturally occurring choline, contains no corn syrup solids, no palm oil, and contains DHA and ARA that's Hexane-FREE! They have developed a form of DHA and ARA naturally derived from egg yolk phospholipids achieving a more natural fatty acid profile. Thank U God! Ahsya has been on this formula since she was 3 weeks old and she definitely loves it! It does say on the packaging that it is "Toddler Formula", but only because the company believes that breastfeeding is the best and they like to encourage mothers to breastfeed their babies up to their first year of life, but their product is definitely safe for newborns. I recommend this product for the mommies out there struggling to produce breastmilk, if you just personally choose to not breastfeed, or if you just want to supplement your little one's diet the natural, healthier way.
