This right in, via Deux Moi, and for the life of me I cannot understand why, unless some lost soul wants to shed some light again on The Shire:

This is a very old pic of a very old theatre date (Deux Moi Anon is American, hence the spelling, tomato/tomahto, LOL). But why now? Why after a salvo of speculations, via carefully directed Anons, about a possible theatre date in London around March 27, so well within the timeframe of Deux Moi's question (https://www.tumblr.com/sgiandubh/746058659808837632/funny-how-blatant-adverse-evidence-panic-and?source=share)? And why with that OLD theatre pic to 'substantiate' it?

No shipper in their right mind would have posted such a thing and I think we can be sure none of us did. But since it's out there, whodunit?

Games are being played, but never without a reason. I think it's too early to speculate fruitfully, so I am just taking note of this and let the dots further connect. Let's ask ourselves who is interested to have Them associated again in the gossip media? And yes, why. I might have thoughts about the why, but you know how annoyingly not funny I am about these.

To say a big THANKS for supporting my fic throughout the year(s), I’m doing the Advent Calendar Fic thingamy again!  I did this last year and it became this collection of stories.

From 1 - 25 December 2024 I will be posting a short story (it will be short, I will control myself) as part of a new collection of works from Driftersverse, Making Mirrors, Interstellar Overdrive and Legend of Charro.

Beneath the cut I have a little information about the story to be written each day (universe, characters and date/era).  I’d like to dedicate each to a reader, so please claim one and I’ll write it for you.

I don’t think all days will fill up, but I’d like to give everyone a chance to get one they really like, so at this stage each person can claim ONE day only - I’ll open it up to more later on. You’re welcome to send me a few in order of preference in case someone has already beaten you to the punch on your favourite, and I haven’t yet updated the list.

If you would rather claim as anon, please give me a name or an emoji or something - just so I can identify you against your chosen day and so we don’t get multiple anons muddled up. 

Please send claims via asks so I can keep track of them in one place and if not anon, include your AO3 name (if you have one).

“OC/Canon, any universe” is a new entry this year.  This means I’ll write a story with the canon listed and you can choose either canon or one of my original characters to appear in the story with them, plus specify universe in which it takes place.  (Eg, Frank and Joel, IO).

Cases with Major Updates in 2023, Part One.

Many cases featured on this page had major updates during 2023. While these cases still aren't resolved, these updates created movement in their investigations and more awareness to the case overall. Here's part one of the list of cases with major updates this year. Lots of you are already familiar with them so I provided a brief TL;DR description with each, but links to the full case write-up are there as well! Part two will be posted at a later date.

The Disappearance & Death of Cheyann Klus. TL;DR update: The remains of Cheyann Klus were identified in January 2023. Cheyann had been missing since December 2017; she vanished at the age of 22 from Chicago, Illinois. Her remains were reportedly found in 2020 but remained unidentified until January 2023.

The Disappearance & Murder of Katelyn Markham. TL;DR update: In March 2023, John Carter was charged with Katelyn's murder. Weeks earlier, Jonathan Palmerton was charged with perjury in relation to Katelyn's murder. Katelyn originally vanished in Fairfield, Ohio at the age of 21 during 2011. Her remains were found in 2013. Carter was Katelyn's fiancé and he had been a person of interest in the case since her disappearance. The cases against both men are currently pending.

The Murder of Courtney Phillips. TL;DR update: Isaac Estrada was finally charged with Courtney Phillips' murder after being captured by authorities in Eagle Pass, Texas. Courtney was found stabbed to death at a residence in San Antonio, Texas in April 2015. Estrada was a suspect early into the investigation, but police were unable to locate him. After 8 years on the run, Estrada was finally captured in March 2023. He is currently facing charges for evading arrest, first-degree aggravated robbery and first-degree murder. 

The Disappearance of Irene Gakwa. TL;DR update: During March 2023, Nathan Hightman was sentenced to six years in prison for using Irene Gakwa's credit cards, bank accounts, and Facebook/email accounts after she went missing in February 2022. Irene is still missing, and Hightman still denies knowledge of her whereabouts.

The Disappearance & Death of Madison Scott. TL;DR update: The remains of Madison Scott were found on a rural property east of Vanderhoof during May 2023. Madison vanished at the age of 20 nearly 12 years earlier during a party at Hogsback Lake. Since the discovery of her remains, detectives have remained quiet about the state of the investigation.

Some fun facts: - This list is not quite in order of when the first usages of these names appeared, but it's pretty close. - Assuming I caught everything and did the math correctly, Trent's daughter has been mentioned by name in 192 fics! For reference, Trent has been tagged as a character in 395 and does not actually appear in some of those, so she's really named in over 49% of the fics he's in. - Of the approximately 77(!) names used, ~33 have been used in multiple fics (including several series), and ~21 of those have been used by multiple different authors. - Seraphina and Georgie are tied for most usages (18 each) but when it comes to usages by the most authors, Seraphina (probably unsurprisingly, given how many people have been inspired by a kind of dwell and welcome) wins in a landslide with 15.

Some "final" statistics: The numbers aren’t perfect, because there were a few names I grouped together and probably should have counted separately, and a few names I counted separately and probably should have grouped together, and those may or may not have balanced out, but keeping that in mind, about 110 names were used! About 49 were used in multiple fics (including individual installments in several series) and about 35 of those were used by multiple authors. for the luckily unaware, i first posted about this AU back in 2019 for the kakaobi week, said “someone remind me to make a post with like, more details about this AU” and then promptly forgot about it

anyway uh, Root AU !

basically, Obito is found by Root, Orochimaru is brought in to experiment on his body with some HashiraDNA™ (it’s not like Obito would survive otherwise, so no consequences if things turn out badly Again) and surprisingly the graft takes

so now Danzo has a new tool, Orochimaru has a long-term pet project and some reassurance that his HashiraDNA™ experiments could work, and Obito is Going Through It

his new body is super fucked up. not only is he now a weird amalgamation of cells that only fit together thanks to seals engraved inside his skin (? or whatever the equivalent of skin is for half-tree-half-man limbs), but the rest of his body is Also covered in seals to guarantee obedience, silence, not bringing harm to Root or Danzo, not revealing his original identity, not killing himself... but also some of them are responsible for keeping him alive, so it’s a mixed bag

his new name is Kinoko, in katakana. because i thought it was funny to call him mushroom and/or tree child, even though it doesn’t fit the pattern of Root names. also it’s just fucked up enough that Orochimaru would like it i think, so we’ll just say he’s the one who chose that name

so that’s the origins of Kinoko

because his old self has been buried by Root training, seals, and trauma, his feelings relative to Kakashi and Rin are pretty different from canon, in that while he witnessed Rin’s death through the shared sharingan connection with Kakashi (which led to the discovery of said connection and the implementation of some news seals inside Obito/Kinoko’s eye socket to make sure nothing from his side goes to Kakashi) and it awakened his mangekyou, he doesn’t keep a grudge. Rin’s death becomes just one more fucked up Root thing in his mind

unlike Kinoe, whose mastery of mokuton is used to great avail with complex buildings and structures, Kinoko’s version of it is incomplete and entirely tied to his body. on the one hand, this limits his range a lot, but on the other he doesn’t require hand signs and thus can launch very efficient surprise attacks

by the time Team 7 is established, Kinoko is assigned to watch over them and make sure nothing goes wrong with either the 9 Tails or the last living Uchiha who isn’t an abomination of nature

while he cannot reveal his identity, nothing in his programming forbids him from being accidentally spotted by Kakashi, which accidentally happens. accidentally

yeah Kinoko is kinda tired of Danzo’s shit, turns out, and would very much like some freedom

In the Court of the Nameless Queen by @natalieironside is so so good. It’s a collection of fantasy erotica short stories that take place in the same world. They all follow or feature Freydis Thorkilsdottir in her journey as a war witch of the Nameless Queen. My favorite was definitely “The Carnival of Carnal Delights” partly for the word play of the title but mainly for the way it weaved all the previous stories together in such a mysterious setting. I do wanna give a content warning for spiders, I definitely underestimated the amount of spiders/spider imagery that would be in these stories but that wasn’t enough to turn me off of the stories altogether.

Dean gets an article sent to him from John about a string of deaths happening at a plantation museum in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We see that there have been several texts from Dean asking about his whereabouts/asking for help that have gone unanswered. Dean shows this to Sam (who is more interested in talking about all the unanswered messages). Sam expresses apathy about these deaths, since they were all from various plantation weddings that happened on the grounds. Dean insists on going, Sam rolls her eyes at his blind obedience.

When they arrive, there has been another death. As they investigate the crime scene, they run into the journalist who wrote the original article, Cassie Robinson. They speak privately with her and it's revealed that she knows who they really are and what they really do because she and Dean used to date and he told her. A budding crime reporter, she insists it's a human, the Winchesters suspect a ghost. They pool their energy and resources to investigate. Sam and Cassie bond over being more interested in the killer than the victims while Dean pretends he's actually very invested and not just here because their dad told him to be there.

So they do the research, the superstitious ones at the museum think it's the ghosts of slaves who died there. TWIST! It's the plantation owner. So they dig up his grave and burn his bones, his ghost appears and bursts into flames, they think they did it. TWIST AGAIN! The murdery one was actually the plantation owner's wife, who inherited the house and her spirit is tied to it. There's a fight, Cassie sets a match to various rooms in the house while Sam and Dean distract Mistress Ghost. They hightail it out and stand a safe distance away outside the impala, bathed in the flickering light of the flames as they watch it and the ghost burn with grim satisfaction

Black Batman

I've been thinking about how dope a Black Bruce Wayne would be, so here's a story summary and fancast:

Thomas and Martha Wayne both come from old money Black families in the predominantly Black town of Gotham. The city was flooded with supervillains over time, mirroring the way real-life Black communities have been flooded with drugs to create a reason to crack down on those communities. Some of these supervillains were planted there by the government, some are Gothamites reacting to the stressors of life there. Inspired by the actions and policies of the Black Panthers, they start a number of community programs, like free breakfast for kids during the summer when they can't get a meal from school. When their actions start getting a little too radical, someone in Gotham has them assassinated.

Lamorne Morris as Bruce Wayne. When, shortly after his parents' murder, a paparazzi harrassed Bruce with comments like "Smile, Brucie! Why so serious?" he cultivates a carefree but dimwitted party boy persona in public to protect himself. He regularly exposes corrupt dealings, both political and corporate, by "endorsing" them and saying the quiet part so loudly that it ruins their aspirations and credibility, while making himself look too dumb to know that he wasn't supposed to say that. In private, Bruce is much more serious and reserved. He uses both Wayne Enterprises and his own resources as Batman to try and provide for the people of Gotham. He can see Gotham for what it is, both the glamorous facade and the gritty reality, but Gotham (and others) can never see who he truly is, under his Batman mask or his Bruce Wayne mask.

His rule of no killing, in addition to a reaction to his parents' murder, is also born out of his belief in community. No matter what they've done, all these people are still citizens of Gotham who have been failed by the institutions that are supposedly there to protect them. For better or for worse, Batman refuses to kill because Bruce wants to save them all.

Shai is the Sea Serpent Prince, being the son of the Sea Serpent King and the older brother/father of Princess Crystal. He is a 33-year-old man who is still a prince because his father plans to be king even in death; as a result, Shai resents him and wants to murder him, forcibly taking over the Sea Serpent Kingdom as king in the process. Many royals make fun of Shai for being a drug addict, though they are rather sympathetic to him for still being a prince at his age due to his father’s intentions.

Personality

Shai is a relaxed and somewhat sarcastic man with a neutral temperament that can sometimes become threatening and sadistic. Shai has a bad relationship with his father due to his resentment towards him. While he uses his sea serpents to threaten his rivals and enemies, he is not a bad person in general since he is good with people who treat him well.

Appearance

Shai is a tall, thin man with tanned skin and stocky build. He has a thin face with black hair parted up and shaved on the sides. He has a moustache, a small beard and a gold earring on his right ear. He also wears a green snake turban that he wears as a crown (it covers all of his hair, making him look bald), a brown leather vest, black shorts with gold chains, brown sandals, bracelets on his wrists and gold rings on his hands.

Relationships

Crystal: Crystal and Shai have a good relationship. It is unknown whether Crystal is Shai’s younger half-sister or daughter, though they get along very well regardless.

Gristel: Gristel is Shai’s stepmother and/or lover. Gristel was an erotic dancer and Shanbin presumably turned her into his wife, but around the same time she met Shai as well and they secretly got engaged. Gristel had drunken and drug-fuelled relations with both of them on different occasions, so when she became pregnant with Crystal, she didn’t know who the father was (Shanbin was 63 when Crystal was born so it is possible that he could be her father). Gristel loves Shai more than she does Shanbin so she wishes that Shai would kill him so that they can be together as king and queen while raising Crystal together as their daughter.

Shanbin (Sea Serpent King): Shanbin and Shai have a bad relationship together. The Sea Serpent King was not very attentive to Shai as a child, which worsened their relationship as he got older. He is an old man who is into exotic dancers and is addicted to alcohol and drugs (in fact, he was the one who drove Shai to these vices). Traditionally, kings rule over their kingdom until they die, but due to their bad relationship in addition to him intending on becoming king for eternity, Shai wants to assassinate him and usurp his position as king.

Shai’s mother (Sea Serpent Queen): Shai’s mother loved her son very much and was the only one who took care of her son. She died when Shai was 21, beginning a downward spiral in his and Shanbin’s relationship that turned the both of them to prostitutes and drugs, much to each other’s hypocritical disgust.

Dustin: Dustin is a contrasting case to Shai; where Shai is still a prince at the age of 33, Dustin is already the king of his kingdom at the age of 7. Despite other people making fun of that fact, the two of them do get along well because Dustin is an orphan, joking with each other and annoying their rivals together. Although Shai likes to see Dustin as a nephew, Dustin doesn’t really see Shai as much of an uncle due to his vices.

Skills

Shai, being part of the Sea Serpent Royal Family, is immune to the deadly effects of sea serpent venom, though he sometimes drinks it as the neurotoxins give him a high. He can also summon sea serpents with a melody on his flute.

Vices

Shai has many vices including compulsively consuming drugs and alcohol, which his little sister/daughter doesn’t like and wants him to stop so he doesn’t die.

Curiosities

- Shai often presumes that his phallic symbol is as long as an anaconda 

- His family is based on an Arab family because of their clothing and customs.

- He is still a prince at the age of 33 where others his age are already kings, much to his chagrin

- He is physically similar to Ricky Rich (Swedish rapper) who sung the song Marli Marli.

‘Nightline’ Posts Strongest Numbers in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 Since January, Plus Grows Week to Week in All Key Target Demos

Season to Date, ‘Nightline’ Grows in Total Viewers

ABC News’ “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (897,000) for the 4th week in a row during the week of March 27, 2023, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. In fact, “Nightline” took the top spot over CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” in Total Viewers in 10 of the last 11 weeks.

“Nightline” saw week-to-week increases in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+5% - 897,000 vs. 851,000), Adults 25-54 (+7% - 220,000 vs. 206,000) and Adults 18-49 (+16% - 151,000 vs. 130,000), posting its strongest numbers in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 since January ― since weeks of 1/23/23 and 1/16/23, respectively.

Season to date, “Nightline” is growing compared to the same point last season in Total Viewers (+6% - 914,000 vs. 864,000). In addition, “Nightline” leads CBS’ “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in all key target demos. 

This week, “Nightline” covered the catastrophic tornadoes in Mississippi towns and Little Rock, Arkansas; the shooting at The Covenant School, plus how the Nashville shooting suspect legally bought guns; former President Donald Trump’s indictment with commentary from political experts; Gwyneth Paltrow’s ski crash lawsuit win; Taylor Swift fans suing Ticketmaster and its parent company, Live Nation; Whitney Houston’s new gospel album; Jeremy Renner who opened up about the snowplow incidentexclusively to ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer; Starbucks workers’ union fight on Capitol Hill; the Tennessee LGBTQ+ community bracing for a public drag queen ban; and the NIL (name, image, likeness) market that’s shaken up college and high school sports, and more.

The Day Before is Delayed Again, as Fntastic Doesn’t Own the Trademark

The Day Before, a zombie-shooting survival game, was ranked second globally on the Steam wishlist before its page vanished. The Day Before's release date will now be postponed once more, according to developer Fntastic, even though the realistic-looking multiplayer game is still absent from Valve's storefront. This is because, allegedly, someone else already holds the trademark for the game's name. The Day Before was originally slated to launch in March. A statement from Fntastic, however, says the game’s release is now postponed until November. “Dear fans,” the developer writes. “Right before the release, Steam blocked our game page at the request of a private individual, because of the name The Day Before. As you know, our game was announced in January 2021. At the time of the announcement, The Day Before game trademark was available. After the announcement of the game, the above mentioned individual filled out an application before us to register the game trademark The Day Before in the United States.” Fntastic then shares a link to the United States Patent and Trademark Office records, which shows a patent filed May 21, 2021 for ‘The Day Before.’ The final trademark is registered for November 1, 2022, and belongs to an individual named Sun Jae Lee, who according to documentation lives in Seoul, South Korea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jm55tR4LdNs “Previously we were not aware of the existence of claims ,” Fntastic says. “We found out about this only on January 19, 2023, when we received a complaint from him and a request to contact him. The studio now says that this has been delayed, alongside the game’s full launch. “We previously planned to post a lengthy gameplay video later this month, but we’ll have to sort this issue out first,” it says. “We will post a video ASAP.” Fntastic then confirms that The Day Before is delayed until November 10, saying that “we want to ensure we release the best possible game.” As of this writing, The Day Before Steam’s page has not been restored. Guangxi （广西）- Things about a Province in Southern China

Official Title

Guangxi is officially known as the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (abbreviated as "GZAR") (Chinese: 广西壮族自治区, pinyin guǎngxī zhuàngzú zìzhìqū). The name "Guangxi" originated from the ancient "Guangnan Xilu" meaning "Wide South, West Route" while the “Zhuang" refers to the Zhuang people, the largest ethnic group of southern China who primarily live in Guangxi among other provinces, below:

The Zhuang People

As described before, the Zhuang people are the largest ethnic group of southern China. Along with Guangxi, they are also dispersed in the Wenshan and Yunnan provinces of China. Cultural descendants of the Zhuang culture can be found in regions of Sichuan and in the valleys of the of the lower area of the Yangtze River.

Language

Guangxi is an remarkably diverse region language-wise - various languages in the Zhuang family are spoken (as suggested by the name) while Yue Chinese languages (most notably Cantonese) are prevalent. Southwestern Mandarin and Pinghua (平话, umbrella term for Northern Ping and Southern Ping, a pair of trade languages) also make up a part of the linguistic composition of Guangxi.

Location

As I'm sure you've been able to figure out, Guangxi is in the south of China. Here is Guangxi on a map:

UGuangxi borders with the provinces of Guizhong, Hunnan, Guangdong, the Country of Laos and the Province of Yunnan. Guangdong, to the east of Guangxi has a name meaning "East expanse" which contrasts to Guangxi's meaning, which is "West Expanse". Guangxi and Guangdong can be referred to together as 两广 (pinyin: liǎngguǎng) meaning "two expanses"

Physical Characteristics

Guangxi has high levels of elevation in different elevation in different areas - its' highest areas are in the north and northwest which lowers into the south and southeast - almost like a ramp. At its' highest Guangxi is about 1.8 kilometres above sea level. The result of all the limestone in the area has led to coining to moniker Shilin (石林, meaning "stone forest") to describe the karst of the area, filled with pinnacles, caves, underground streams and many other wonders.

Punjab Cuisine

The main aspect of Punjab cuisine that differentiates it from other south asian cuisines is that much of the food is cooked tandoori style, meaning that it is cooked in a clay oven (usually either looks like an oven or a hole in the ground.)

The Estonian Language

History (and more information about the language)

The Estonian language was first written in the 13th century. The Estonian language is a part of the Finnic-Ugric language branch of the Ugric language family, meaning that it is distantly related to the Hungarian language and more closely related to Finnish. In fact, Estonian and Finnish are mutually intelligible (meaning that an Estonian speaker will be able to understand Finnish and vice versa).

The Alphabet

The Estonian alphabet has 3 categories.

Category 1: the standard Estonian alphabet

Aa, Bb, Dd, Ee, Gg, Hh, Ii, Jj, Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn, Oo, Pp, Rr, Ss, Tt, Uu, Vv, Õõ, Ää, Öö, Üü

(Note: Õ Ä Ö and Ü are considered separate letters and not variations of O A and U respectively.)

Category 2: letters only used in loanwords and foreign names

Ff, Šš, Zz, Žž

Category 3: letters only used in foreign names

Cc, Qq, Ww, Xx, Yy.

Grammar

Estonian is an SVO language, meaning that the word order is Subject, Verb, Object. English is also a SVO language. Example: in English a simple phrase is "I am Daniel." You can translate this sentence word for word into Estonian because it shares the same sentence structure - "Ma Olen Daniel." In Estonian there are 14 grammatical cases - in English we only have 3, being Subjective (the subject), Objective (grammatical objects, of verbs and prepositions) and Possessive (to show possesion). In Estonian, gender is not present, even in pronouns with the pronouns "ta" (informal) and "tema" (formal) being used. In Estonian the stress (emphasis on a specific syllable, usually demonstrated by length pitch or volume in a world) always falls on the first syllable. In English however, there is no specific rule, leading to stressing words as "exactly" and "perfect" while with Estonian stressing we would pronounce those words as "exactly" and "perfect",

Tanabata - Today's Japanese Festival (たなばた/七夕) 🎋

What is Tanabata?

Tanabata is a Japanese festival based on a Chinese folklore story, based on the Chinese Qixi festival. The legend states that every year on the 7th day of the 7th month, Orihime and Okoboshi (Chinese mythical figures who are lovers) will meet. The 7th month is July. Therefore, Tanabata is today! (July 7).

Tanabata customs

Tanabata is celebrated by the celebrators writing their wishes for the future on a piece of coloured paper and then proceeding to hang it on bamboo. This process is called "tanzaku" (短冊)Sometimes, these wishes are written in the form of poetry, which is reminiscent of Tanabata Customs from the era in which Tanabata was a new celebration when Japanese aristocrats held poetry contests. Please note that some customs vary from region to region.

Instance 1: Animal Crossing

The Animal Crossing video game franchise is created by Japanese video game giant Nintendo. Nintendo, being Japanese, decided to incorporate Japanese culture into the games to promote it to the western world. In earlier games of the franchise (the Japanese version of the first game along with Animal Crossing: New Leaf) players can obtain in-game bamboo. In the latest game (Animal Crossing: New Horizons), Tanabata is "celebrated" by "selling" limited-editions bamboo plants with tanzaku, and traditional yukata of Orihime and Hikoboshi.

I RATE NEW YEAR’S KISSES

based on my own arbitrary standards! That’s right, cozies, it’s the new year and I’ve been gathering THE hottest gossip to fire up our January. And you know who else was in the business of melting hearts? These sexy singles...soon to be... not singles??? 

I will be judging these kisses based on 1. if i saw it coming 2. if this couple has a future and 3. if it’s movie-material!!! 

1. DOT AND MIM. 

SCREAMMMMMMMMMM I love baby gays!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta say, we all thought Mim had a thing for Ferb, right? So this was big GASP, though on Dot’s side, it had to be a long time coming. That’s like, the only person she talks to in school! For potential slow burn points, plus EEK secondary cuteness, I’m giving this kiss an 8/10. I hope I see dates to Chippamunka’s in your future! 

2. NICK AND VIXEY

This is a total what the fuck moment. 

For one thing, I have no idea who this Nick person is, just that he has a seriel killer van I do not trust! Where was Tiana? Where was Jun? Where was Al? Why did they not stop this from happening? Look, he’s hot, but good enough for Vixey? I highly doubt that, and consideirng he basically PEACED right after? You do not ding dong ditch my precious Chakraborty! Be gone, foul Wilde!

3. PHINEAS AND LAURETTE

Yawn. Should I go on? I mean, it does give me some Netflix series original potential, very nerd guy meets popular girl trope, but I also called this a while ago. He’s been flirting with Laurette for months on Tinder. At least he finally made a move? And ofc Laurette can do better, and she will, when she dumps Phineas in three months time, max.

4. ISAAC AND SEAMUS

Really did not know what to do with this one. Fear the DILF anon will soon strike. Had no idea where this one came from. It was pretty tame all things considered, so maybe it was like kissing your grandpa? 

I regret saying that. ANYWAY you know! The Moreys deserve nice things! So normally I wouldn’t hate this but unfortunately... Isaac was not the only person Seamus kissed that night?! So um, this is a 1/10 for me. I’m uncomfortable. 

5. NICK AND SEAMUS

Meanwhile to piggy back on my NICK WILDE SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED campaign-- what is this????????? 

Now this was NOT a friendly greet your grandpa kiss, this was a solid. Kiss, kiss. I got sooooo many tips about this kiss and how that type of heat implies there’s CHEMISTRY and HISTORY. Maybe Nick knows Seamus? Maybe Nick came to Swynlake FOR Seamus? I’m intrigued, and the drama is real, so the points are def higher-- but I still don’t like you Nick.

5. MEI AND EDRIC

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Now this makes TOTAL sense! They’ve been flirting for a little bit and I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled. After all, I think we all agree that Mei deserves a little love, and Edric-- a bit of a bad boy, bit of a player-- is certainly her type. I don’t necessarily ship this to the ends of the earth, but some fun dating times is certainly in the cards for these two! 7/10

6. MARTIN AND REN.

YASSSSS ending on a real high note with this one!!!! Martin, my darling, I knew you had it in you, you sexy scholar sorcerer! Ren and Martin have been dancing around each other for a while, so this was bound to happen. I’m glad Martin got over his lil case of shyness and took the dive! This will not be the last we see of these two, mark my words. Do I smell otp...?
