Finally got around to inoculating these grains with 🍄 spores. I did have to create my own still air box from scrap material but it seems to have done the trick. We already have white, brown and pink oysters fruiting and just got the king oysters, maitake, chicken of the woods and lion’s mane started on some grain as well as two special varieties found locally (P.Cubensis and P.Cyanescens) that I took spore prints and set them to grow on a Petri dish with agar. Can’t say I wasn’t intimidated to get this started but I must say that it’s not as difficult to learn as I once thought.
