I tried to take inspo from your headings and made this one (and I had to reference your quarantine joke because alas... it is a Tuesday isn’t it?)

Anyway, for a birthday gift I remixed a chapter of YWSAFS (specifically chapter 5, A Dragon’s Reprieve.)

i haven’t actually read egtwm so i don’t know a whole lot about tether essence, but it does seem like a very very sexy spell with a lot of whump potential tho. i think it’s pretty short-term though? like an hour. so not so useful for “the nein have had essek rescued for like 48hrs already”. pls let this boy rest. i know he did a Lot of war crimes, but he’s also been tortured for like Weeks so he deserves a nap. i feel very strongly about this.

i do really like that idea tho, like two people being captured, and one of them has the chance to escape and go get the others, but little do they know their essence has been tethered... alternately, someone casting it on themself and also a low-HP enemy, and then dealing a large amount of damage to themself in the hopes of taking down their opponent at the cost of their own wellbeing... god it’s such a sexy whump spell tbqh. very, very into essek getting fucked up with it, one way or another
