The blog is up! It took a little but now I am ready and open for asks! I’m Stephanie Rogers, more well known as New Orleans. hey um, i'm the owner of Ourtalia and i tried messaging you but i couldn't but i just wanted to ask if you could resubmit your submissions into the au, i must of forgotten to open the submission box and i am extremely sorry if this is any trouble

A Poem

I started writing poetry as a way to take a break from the rigid scientific method. I wrote this shortly after becoming a Nation. My friends from the Arts faculties told me that I should let my ideas flow and not stop to erase anything... It’s a little bare bones from what I’m seeing on the Internet, but I hope you like it!

VAIN - By Ethos

The man steps into the creek.

He washes his arms and the water freezes,

He washes his legs and it melts again.

The soil furthest from the sky is his own to embrace.

He tears at the permafrost with nails that can hold no more dirt, 

And in the feeble hole plants a cluster of weeds.

The man's arms are blackened, he steps into the creek.

i haven't been in the ourtalia au for so long that it's wack for me to see that it's still getting new members and stuff. good for y'all for going strong! i kinda miss it, but im past my hetalia days lol

That's perfectly fine and thank you, I understand that as people grow they'll stop liking things they once used to and yeah it is a bit wack that people still even want to join. It's nice though knowing people still like this au even if it's kind of old
