the thing about emotionally unintelligent parents who dont know how to fucking communicate with each other much less their child is you never know when you're gonna accidentally walk into some argument they had that you werent privy to at all and suddenly wind up at the center of it

#mom and dad got in an argument about selling the truck he never drives and thats rotting in the drive way at some point #and i got the mail this morning in which someone offered to buy the thing from us so i handed it to him so it didnt get lost in the shuffle #and hes all 'OH YOU JUST HAD TO GIVE ME THIS IN FRONT OF MOM AFTER THE ARGUMENT WE HAD' what??#and suddenly im getting screamed at by both of them bc i had to nerve to call out #that pinning that as some kind of slight on my part is fucked up when i literally had no bad intentions there whatsoever i was just pointin #out prescient mail and hes only yelling at me bc hes defensive about the car going to waste #whatever. whatever. whatever. you're both 50+ years old learn how to communicate like fucking adults
