It is featured on the website Anima Loci, an “online journal of images in places” after a successful submission earlier in the year. I've been working on a new selective picking technique I discovered from @tosinabasi where the notes are divided between left hand taps and right hand up and down strokes. * Egy kis adalék még az igényes hangszedőgyártáshoz. Nem vagyok különösebben sem a Seymour Duncan, sem más nagy gyártó híve, de nagyon tudom értékelni, ha valami átgondolt, és érezhető, hogy törődtek a lehetséges problémákkal, illetve ezek megoldásával. Amikor végeztem a Godin gitár átalakításával, felhúroztam, beállítottam a hangszert, majd kipróbáltam. Mindkét hangszedő szépen szólt külön, de együtt a fordított fázis miatt csak egy kis vékonyka hang szólalt meg. Ha megnézitek a képen, látható, hogy a Seymour pickup házán kívül vannak a tekercs kimenetei a vezetékhez forrasztva, míg a Godin P90-nél ez a házon belül található. A fordított fázisos hangot az egyik hangszedő tekercsének a kimeneteit megcserélve lehet megszüntetni. Itt szerencsére csak egy forrasztásra volt szükség, de ha a Godin hangszedőn kell ugyanezt csinálnom, kénytelen lettem volna szétszedni a házat, amivel kockáztatom a tekercs épségét. Még rosszabb esetben a vezeték a hangszedő műgyantával kiöntött házából jön ki, teljesen lehetetlenné téve a cserét. Szeretem, amikor figyelnek az apróságokra, köszi Seymour Duncan, hogy nem szívattál feleslegesen.

* Some little addition to the high standard pickup manufacturing. I'm not really fan of Seymour Duncan, or any other big pickup company, but I greatly appreciate, when the product is thought-out and the maker count on the possible problems. When I finished the modification of the Godin guitar, I set it up and tried it. The two pickup had great tone in themselves, but together they produced an out of phase, weak sound. If you look on the picture, you can see, that the wires coming from the coil soldered together on the outside of the baseplate on the Seymour pickup, while joined together in the pickup housing in the Godin pickup. To turn two pickup in phase with each other, I have to switch the coil wires on one pickup. This was really easy on the Seymour, while if I had to do this on the Godin, I'd have to open the housing, risking the coil integrity. On some other pickups the body is potted with epoxy, and only the shielded cable comes out, making it impossible to change phase. I like, when manufacturers or designers are smart, and care for little details. Thanks Seymour Duncan for not suck me in big time.
