Overnight Camp: What to prepare?

It's autumn time and a lot of people is getting excited on celebrating holidays. Are you done planning on where, when, and how to go to your dream location? If yes, Then it's time for us to discuss the things you need to pack for overnight Camp.

If it's your first time going on a overnight camp and no clue for the things you need to pack then this blog perfect for you! Just like you I've been into an Overnight Camp but sadly during that time nobody told me what to pack and bring on my first overnight Camp (Winter Time) at Hongkongs Highest Peak.

So without further a do Here are some of the things you need to prepare/pack on Overnight Camp. First on the list is

Reusable water bottle. Some camping sites have accessible water supply so it's more convenient to bring the later. Moreover, remember to keep hydrated while on overnight camping.

Jacket/sweatshirt. It's autumn time and it's cold the usual. Be sure to keep yourself dry and warm during this time.

Multiple bathing suits & sunscreen. If the camping site your going is near the water (sea, beach, river, stream) be sure not to forget to bring bathing suits and sunscreen as well. It's autumn but it doesn't mean the sun rays are safe.

Towels (Shower & beach) - can't discuss it any further, can't deny that towels is essential during this time.

Multiple sets of socks and undergarments. --you'll surely need this so be sure to secure it.

Sandals

Sneakers.

Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo, etc.)

Hi everyone! Welcome to Fireside Chat, a blog for parents of first-time campers. Here we will discuss everything related to sleepover camp, from how to choose the right camp for your child to how to deal with homesickness. 

I went to camp for 10 years and I’m sharing everything I’ve learned.

Why am I blogging about this? I spent two months every summer at sleepover camp for 10 years! After 3 years as a camp counsellor, I’ve seen it all! Trust me, your child will have an incredible time at camp! During my first summer at camp, I was immersed in colour war cheers that became anthems, routines that became traditions and bunkmates who became best friends. Sleepover camp was the first place where I could truly be myself, and I want to ensure that your first-time campers become just as camp-crazed, head-over-heels in love with their summer camp as I was!

Any camp-related topic is fair game.

The purpose of this blog is to answer your questions, but also to help connect you with other parents who are going through the same experiences as you!
