I had a hike a long the shore of Pasqua Lake and then setup my new Aqua Quest 3mx3m tarp. I'm impressed with how well made and how flexible the material is. Much nicer than my elcheapo tarps. I made lunch on my Primus Micron Trail Stove. I suped up an Uncle Ben's Bistro express with real fried mushrooms, onions and garlic. It was very tasty! I had the park to myself today. CTPの後継でしょうか。CTPとの比較で書いてみます。

材質はCTPと違いほとんど伸びません。CTPの生地は伸びるので動きやすいのですが、その分劣化しやすい（いわゆる「のびる」ですね。ややこしいですが笑）ので2年位履いているとだいぶくたびれた感じがでます。逆にこちらは伸びない分たぶん劣化が少ないような気がします。あとCTPはしゃがんだ時は膝の生地が伸びますが、こちらは周りの生地が引っ張られて裾が上がったりズボンが落ちやすい気がします。慣れの問題でしょうが。

形状ですが前ポケットはCTPよりも緩いので出し入れはしやすいです。CTPがきつかったので苦情でもあったのでしょうか。ただ緩い分経年劣化でズボンの形が崩れやすいかもしれません。CTPのきつさも慣れてしなえばそれほど苦でもありませんでしたが。CTPのサイドポケットに比べるとこのズボンのサイドポケットや前のメディアポケットはだいぶ浅いです。スマホを入れる用途としては使いやすいですが、生地が伸びずポケットの口が締まらない為、激しい動きや便座でズボンを降ろす時などポケット内のものを落としやすくなっています。私は深い方がいいのですが上記の用途を考えるともとに戻ることはないかなと思います。前部のベルクロで留める部分はCTPのような黒いタブがなくなった為ちょっと開けづらいです。後ろポケットのステッチはかなり豪快な大きさですよね。このデザインは好みが分かれそうです。

色は執筆時点では無いのですが無難万能なカーキ色があったら良かったですね。

個人的にはCTPがこの材質だったら完璧です(笑)

追記：厳冬期(笑)には下にタイツなどのインナーを着けるわけですが、その際静電気のせいもあるかもしれませんがズボンの生地が全く滑りません！ただでさえ伸びない生地が足に張り付くので普段に増して足が曲げづらいです。足腰が弱い人用のサポートズボンかと思うくらい腰が下げづらく、靴を履くのも大変なくらいです。この生地はダメですね。ただでさえデザインが悪いのに履き心地まで悪いのでは本当にダメです。CTPはここまで張り付かないんですけどね。

あとズボンの下がりやすさは腰のゴムにあるかもしれません。しゃがむ時に一番引っ張られる後ろに抵抗がなく腰の両脇だけでベルトが引っかかる感じなので。やっぱり駄目ですね(笑)
