I'm keeping an ongoing list of words I come across while researching turbans (I'm not from a culture that wears them). They'll start as just the word I need to look up, then will fill with what I find out.

Eh beh.

Ieri non so perché il tubo mi ha proposto alcuni video che parlano dell'Estonia, uno il classico riassuntone di 5 minuti di un pagina che propone il racconto veloce e storico dei paesi del mondo e va bè ci sta, l'altro era un tizio penso indiano che vive da 8 anni in loco e che elogia in modo esagerato gli estoni. Non voglio entrare nel merito delle esperienze delle altre persone, per carità ognuno vive la vita come gli viene meglio e di sicuro il tizio abita a Tallinn che è la capitale, la città più popolosa e il centro di tutto. Prima avevo visto un video dove Rovelli spiega con un disegnino che la narrazione di un piccolo gruppetto di paesi sta iniziando a diventare noiosa per il resto del mondo, cosa del tutto vera, anche io nel mio piccolo mi sono stufato di sentire dire che gli USA sono il paese della libertà, dell'uguaglianza e della democrazia quando in realtà non è vero e di conseguenza il loro racconto della realtà distorta che tende a glorificarli, senza contare che, come ho detto più di una volta, mi piacerebbe vedere l'Europa rinascere come polo culturale e di pensiero, come era una volta, mandando proprio gli USA a casa. Quindi c'è una visione di questo paese molto superficiale, si ok è il paese più tecnologico in Europa, che ha il 99% della burocrazia online e che ha abbattuto tempi e consumi, di carta soprattutto, aveva un mercato florido pieno di investitori stranieri questo più che altro per il costo da schiavismo delle paghe, 5.30€ lordi all'ora è il salario minimo, il costo della vita negli ultimi 5 anni è salito esponenzialmente e ora ha l'impennato che hanno tutti dovuta alla guerra. Il governo protegge la natura, ottimo, i servizi funzionano e altre cose che molte persone cercano o vorrebbero nei loro paesi. Purtroppo il tizio, che è di colore, forse non si rende conto che in questo paese sono razzisti, sicuramente nella capitale non ci fai molto caso come in una piccola città di minatori, non c'è nessuna miniera, è solo un modo di dire per far capire che dove vivo io sono tutti casa e lavoro, manovalanza a basso costo, di sicuro il tizio non ha subito angherie gratuite come è capitato a me solo perché non sono autoctono, ma di sicuro il tizio elogia la popolazione senza esaminarla a fondo. Non ho visto tutto il video, perché avevo l'istinto irrefrenabile di scrivergli il pippone sul razzismo e ho preferito chiudere tutto, ma per quel poco che ho visto

Il tizio diceva che non ha visto obesi e che tutti, questo mi ha fatto scattare la bestia, fanno sport, infatti lo sport nazionale è l'alcolismo. Poi elogiava il fatto che gli estoni si vestono bene in ogni occasione, qua ho capito che il tizio è solo un pattinatore di superficie e ho chiuso. Se non ti accorgi, e me l'ha detto anche il giappo-portoghese che mi ha venduto il pickup l'altro giorno, che le persone attorno a te sono tutte immagine e niente sostanza non hai capito un cazzo della vita, qua mangiano le scatole e buttano via le caramelle (cit.). Negli anni però devo dire che l'Estonia è cambiata, ricordo che nel '99 quando venni per la prima volta, matrimonio della sorella della mia compagna, vidi un paese e un popolo schietto, di estrazione operaia e fiero di esserlo, adesso il paese è una succursale degli USA dove se non ti adegui al perbenismo becero da puritano ti emarginano, se la pensi diversamente sei escluso. Il tizio non vede oltre il suo naso, certo io magari sarò un pò esagerato, ma questo è, e loro lo mascherano molto bene perché sanno che l'UE non tollera razzismi di nessun genere, ma loro non solo lo sono in un modo particolare, cioè non gli piacciono gli stranieri in terra loro, esempio : io suono, ma vivo qua, se venissi solo per suonare mi aprirebbero le porte e stenderebbero il tappeto rosso, ma siccome vivo qua non gli piace che gli rubo la scena, questo perché non essendoci molti artisti loro tendono sempre a "prima gli estoni" (vi ricorda qualcosa?). Senza parlare del lavoro giusto o ti accontenti della paga minima o non lavori, fine esempio. Ultima cosa, non vogliono che tu ti integri, non hanno politiche sociali per cui chi è straniero può accedere a corsi gratuiti della loro lingua afona e difficilissima, perché spesso è la loro scusa per non assumerti, farebbero prima a dirti "prendiamo solo persone locali anche se non sanno fare un cazzo", perché l'estone medio, ci sono alcuni che superano ampiamente il margine ma sono pochissimi, non hanno fantasia, non hanno logica nelle cose che fanno, ecc ecc; in parole povere socialmente sono ancora agli anni 50, la loro mentalità è databile al periodo post bellico italiano, non lo dico io per astio ma l'ho sentito più di una volta da altre persone. Quindi se vieni in vacanza bene, se hai una pila di soldi e puoi investire (non è detto che lo devi fare, i soldi sono i tuoi) bene, se invece vuoi semplicemente trasferirti qua e cercare lavoro, come è quasi naturale se non vuoi vivere nel tuo paese, non va bene, perché loro lo sanno di valere poco e chiunque arriva qua con un bagaglio di esperienza e conoscenza viene ridotto, mi volete dire che dopo 40 anni di musica io non so suonare, oppure dopo più di 20 anni nella ristorazione io non so servire o non so cucinare?

Ieri ho contattato, cambio discorso, il fisioterapista consigliatomi da Andres, come detto qualcuno sopra questa massa c'è, per via della tendinite che è tornata :( va bè oggi non mi fa male ma ieri e l'altro ieri è stato un bel problema. Domani vediamo cosa mi dice sto qua, sperando che non faccia come la ragazzetta di fine novembre che in 20 minuti mi ha liquidato senza neanche visitarmi o farmi fare dei test. Spesso qua c'è una superficialità nelle cose che è imbarazzante, parliamo della salute, un tizio (io) ha un problema, tu non lo risolvi perché non ti frega niente della mia salute ma solo dei miei soldi (25€ per 20 minuti e non mi hai risolto, dammi i soldi indietro, ma non sono come loro e vado avanti), questo è il popolo estone, non gli frega niente di nulla, cultura, arte, se mi porta dobloni bene se no non interessa. Infatti sto pensando che quando sono pronto, e qua non so quando, andrò a suonare altrove se non mi fanno suonare qua, non ci siete solo voi nel mondo, e qua si torna al discorso che è una filiale USA. Chiudo e vado a fare altro che tanto è solo fiato sprecato, per questo l'ho scritto qua e non sotto il video del tizio, che tanto mi avrebbe solo detto che è un mio punto di vista, come il suo d'altronde.
