What’s your favorite brushes + coloring process on procreate? I love your palettes! They’re so vibrant! and how smooth the blending/layering is! I’m not exactly new to digital but my first program was painttol sai and making the switch to procreate has been so difficult... pls don’t feel obligated to answer this! I just really love your style and you seem like you won’t mind me asking! Love your art so much btw hshshsh zukka rights!!

The brush I use are basically all Procreate default, mostly the hard edge airbrush for lineart and coloring, the ink studio pen for base colors (and sometimes shading), and the fine line ink pen for tiny details. As for the coloring 1) thANK YOU??? And 2) like literally everything I do, it’s mostly fooling around and finding out, i think for me something that really smoothed my coloring process is adding a low opacity layer above the base colors in a bright-ish shade and set it to either linear burn, color burn or multiply (depending on the vibes). And yeah I totally feel you, I switched to procreate about a year ago and I STILL find out new stuff about that app on the daily ((there are a lot of good tutorials on YouTube tho if you have the patience to watch them …which I don’t lmao))

Just drew this yesterday while waiting for my mom to come home... First time drawing on Painttol SAI with no problems at all! Well I kindly like how I did for the first time but soon I need to work out for it! Kindly right now just making some random doodles... I might post it soon...

Sorry if this is annoying but what are your brush settings :0? They're really soft

It’s all good yo. I use a couple different brushes for a soft look. Both outline and coloring. (For reference, I use painttol sai and a canvas size 5x5 in. when sketching or drawing.)

Most things a draw are lined with this brush (doodle). It works similar to a pencil, varying in size and darkness dependent on pressure.

This brush (Big Pen) works about the same way, just a bit more sensitive. I use this if I want a cleaner looking outline.

My favorite brush to use for color is this one (TTOBA). Which was inspired by one of my fav artist, TTOBA! You can mess around with the blending setting if you want your colors to mix a certain way or not at all.

Lastly, this brush right here (WaterBrush). I mostly use it to blend colors together more seamlessly without really using a color. It’s like a wet paintbrush I guess.

And I also use the paints effect on my outlines to give it a nice soft color.
