चैतन्य भारत न्यूज पन्ना. मध्यप्रदेश के पन्ना टाइगर रिजर्व की धरोहर बन चुकी दुनिया की सबसे उम्र दराज हथिनी वत्सला को अब दिखना कम हो गया है। जानकारी के मुताबिक, हथनी की आंखों में मोतियाबिंद हो गया है। (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || ).push({});

डॉक्टर संजीव कुमार गुप्ता ने बताया कि वत्सला की उम्र 100 वर्ष से भी अधिक हो चुकी है, जिसका असर उसके शरीर व अंगों पर पड़ने लगा है। वत्सला की आंखों में मोतियाबिंद (कैट्रेंक्ट) हो चुका है, जिसके कारण उसे अब कुछ भी दिखाई नहीं देता। अपनी जिंदगी के बेहद कठिन दौर से गुजर रही वत्सला को अब सिर्फ हाथियों के कुनबे का सहारा है, वह इन्हीं हाथियों के सहारे ही जंगल में घूमती-फिरती है।

टाइगर रिजर्व के वन्य प्राणी चिकित्सक का कहना है कि हाथियों के लिए लेंस का आविष्कार नहीं हो पाया है। इसलिए उसका इलाज नहीं हो सकता। बता दें वत्सला दुनिया की सबसे उम्रदराज जीवित हथिनी है। 100 साल की उम्र पार करने पर उसका नाम गिनीज बुक ऑफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज हो चुका है।

दिलचस्प है वत्सला की कहानी दुनिया की इस सबसे उम्रदराज हथिनी की जिंदगी की कहानी काफी दिलचस्प है। डॉक्टर बताते हैं कि, टाइगर रिजर्व के ही एक नर हाथी राम बहादुर ने साल 2003 और 2008 में वत्सला पर प्राणघातक हमला किया था जिससे वह गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई थी। हाथी ने वत्सला पर दांतों से प्रहार कर उसका पेट चीर दिया था लेकिन बेहतर उपचार और सेवा से इस बुजुर्ग हथिनी को मौत के मुंह में जाने से बचा लिया गया। मौजूदा समय में यह हथिनी देशी और विदेशी पर्यटकों के लिए आकर्षण का केंद्र है। वहीं टाइगर रिजर्व की धरोहर है। ये भी पढ़े... इस देश ने दिया 60 हाथियों को मारने का आदेश, सरकार को होगी करीब 18 करोड़ की कमाई नहीं रहा बिन लादेन, ले चुका था कई लोगों की जान खुले में शौच कर रहा था किसान, नाराज हाथी ने दी सजा, पटक-पटककर कर दिया बुरा हाल Read the full article
