papa puffy headcanons (+ foolish and dream)

- puffy "adopted" both foolish and dream

- neither foolish nor dream are affected by age and have both been alive for awhile before they met puffy, but that didn't stop her

- she adopted dream while he was still kinda young in his existence, but she adopted foolish first

- she loves spoiling both of them with gifts, especially soft things like plushies or onesies

- she gets dream lots of duck related things and foolish lots of shark related things, and foolish expresses his happiness much more outwardly than dream

- she doesn't really want biological kids because she doesn't want to take care of a baby, and she thinks there are enough people in the world already

- puffy loves organizing family nights, but board games were never a hit with dream so they eventually landed on movie nights

- puffy didn't know that foolish was a demi god for a while and just thought he seemed like he needed a parent figure and decided to take that upon herself

- she always enjoys and insists on spending personal time with her kids, no matter how they spend that time

- she's very protective of her kids

- puffy is a strict parent, but also very sweet? like she's intent on raising good mannered kids, but also wants them to feel comfortable with her and have fun when they're with her

- she and phil have talks about being fathers a lot, especially over alcohol or dinner

That one piece of Dream going off to heal with Help from Foolish is so good! I love to think that in the middle of some emotional bonding moment Foolish just pauses for a shift dance, maybe even tries to teach or encourage dream to join (though my brain immediately dips into angst of how Foolish seems close with Papa Puffy but dreams prob believes he long burnt those bridges with the mama duck)
