Es - A strange girl who once appeared on the threshold of the Mukuhara dojo with her father. As it turned out later, it is the boy who fell into the cursed Spring of Drowned Girl and now turns into a girl when contact with cold water. An old idea based on Hello Charlotte

I think I've seen a plot like this somewhere before, but whatever.

Es is one of the clones used by MILGRAM. They are usually used as cannon fodder and flunkies, replace for the victim, find and drag this killer here, contact someone, etc. They appear from Mother.

Mother is one of Milgram's scientists' experiments on cloning. She was found by scientists and turned into a constantly producing clones creature. The clones have a partially swarm brain structure, so they can communicate with each other without meeting in person, as if they were connected to a single server, the so-called server is run by Mother, and the scientists that can control her.

But then the scientists decided to disconnect one clone from the server and assign them as one of the guards for their other experiment. This is Es. Everything was going well, until the end of the second trial. And then, the discontent that had been brewing for a long time among some scientists who disagreed with such inhumane experiments (how they haven't quit yet is a mystery) broke through and a riot occurred. Es and the prisoners were found by one of the rioters and asked to destroy Mother. He played on the fact that he was one of those who was watching Es and ordered on behalf of Milgram (later this will be revealed ofc, but later). Well, Es went. Most of the prisoners wanted to escape, but they didn't know where, so they all went together anyway. Then the adventures are like in a jrpg. They learn more and more about Milgram and their experiments, they understand that Es is also a clone, they are convinced that Mother must be destroyed. After some time, they split up and some of the prisoners go up to the exit, and Es and the rest go down to destroy Mother. (Although they will all meet at the bottom anyway, because there will be a collapse)

Having reached the room where Mother exists, Es still naively hopes that there will be an opportunity not to destroy Mother, but to save her. But upon entering the room, these hopes melt like snow in the spring. Mother is a giant meat creature from which only the upper half of the human body remains. A fragile and rather miniature female body with a face so similar to Es's (although on the contrary, with a face that Es is so similar to), is attached to a huge, creepy mess of a sickly red hue, that looks like a bunch of huge balloons merged into one with visible veins, through which the rapidly growing embryos of new clones shine through. Sometimes this whole mess starts to twitch convulsively and another clone flops onto the floor, where it is quickly dragged into the unknown by strange vines. It looks very cute against the background of a rather childish-looking room painted to look like a green meadow with flowers and a blue sky.

Mother notices Es and reaches out to them with a blissful smile, as if trying to hug them, there is not a drop of meaning in her eyes. She has long since broken down and accepted her role. Es recoils and clutches the axe, long ago picked up from the emergency box, tighter in their hands. THIS should not exist. Es decides to destroy Mother.

The fight isn't easy. The clones produced by Mother are almost immediately able to move and fight, and new ones appear at an incredible speed. In addition to the clones, they are also attacked by those same vines. First, it need to turn off the machine that supplies Mother with material for creating clones, then finish off the rest. The vines will probably have to be set on fire. It won't be hard to kill Mother, she doesn't know how to defend herself, the only thing that can stop her is pity. But leaving such a dangerous creature alive will only make things worse, she will continue to multiply uncontrollably.

[Bad Ending]: Es leaves Mother alive and she eats them and almost all the prisoners, because human flesh was her material. Es destroys Mother and, having finished the job, goes up with the prisoners. But they doubts whether they should leave Milgram being a clone, because they has no family or friends outside.

[They are given a choice to go with the prisoners or stay and destroy Milgram completely, including themself.]

[Good Ending-1]: The first choice shows the return of the 11 to human society and how their affairs turned out later. Es is seen separately if they interacted with everyone equally or with one of the prisoners if they communicated with one of them more often. At the end, a family photo.

[Good Ending 2]: When they choosing to destroy Milgram and themself, we see a cutscene where everything burns in flames, including a sadly smiling Es. Afterwards, the prisoners are shown returning to humanity and how their lives are going. At the end, a group photo is shown as in the first good ending, but Es's place is empty.

King of Spirits AU or Es in depress

Once upon a time there was the King of Spirits Es. The King was majestic, wise and revered by all spirits. But once the King faced with the power they couldn't handle and was sealed in another dimension. They wasn't able to get out themself, nor with the help of spirits. But the King learned about the condition under which they could be released. If a human enters this dimension and passes all 11 trials, including the King’s trial, human will be able to contract with the King and get them out of eternal confinement.

So the King began to wait for this human. Days, years, centuries passed. The world changed and people quickly forgot about the existence of spirits, only fairy tales and legends remained as a reminder of the past.

Time passed, the King waited and waited, but there was no help and in the end the King gave up. If nobody comes then does it make sense to wait longer? Existing in this dimension is not so bad, I guess... There is enough rooms, the Highest Spirits can come here to brighten up solitude and boredom of the King.

Perhaps it’s not so bad. With such thoughts, the King began to plunge deeper and deeper into themself until they had no more to do with the world.

Many years passed, and one day, again aimlessly wandering in the dimension, the King came upon the Highest Spirit of Fire, leaning over a strange luminous rectangle. The King was very interested in this unknown thing, and the King, who havent shown interest in anything for a long time, asked the spirit what it was, which even slightly frightened him, because he had become unaccustomed to the fact that the King could speak and be interested in something.

And the rectangle was a game console, which was not so long ago invented by humanity, that not standing all these centuries in place. And this simple toy could interest and keep the King from completely sinking into nothingness. That’s how the Spirit King became a gamer.

Small Notes for Spirits:

Amane was the only one who during the whole imprisonment didn't stop trying to shake the King out of depression. Because they were her role model and the change in them was like a betrayal for her.

Kazui has a Garden in King's dimension.

After obtaining interest in games and a slight retreat from depression, Es' nasty character became more visible. For now the Spirits tolerate this because at least the King is not just lying motionless for years as it was before.
