How does Littlebug even know how these men are Bad Dads?

I mean it seems, to me at least, that she learned about them before she went to their universes.

Another day, another upload from Littlebug.

No one knew how she or Chaton got the doll avatars to work or look so lifelike, but their avatars were adorable and THEY were adorable and everyone went nuts over them.

It was especially fun to be there for her livestreams. Sometimes she asked questions from the chat. It was pretty evident from some of these questions that she was quite young and some of the viewers were a bit worried about her being safe and what she could be exposed to, but most of the audience seemed on board with protecting the little virtual stars, so they all seemed to have made an unspoken agreement to avoid more mature or inappropriate things.

Not that they had much to worry about. Mama Noire had apparently set a filter on the chat to keep it child friendly. And anyone who started getting too mean for Littlebug's taste would be quickly booted from the livestream. For a kid, she certainly knew how to manage things. And she certainly didn't tolerate bullies.

Though it seemed there was something else she didn't like if her recent query to the chat was any indication.

Hi! I was at the show in Charlotte and it was amazing! I just wanted to tell you about something that stuck with me. I use a cane sometimes because I have a knee problem but I'm usually really self conscious about it. But at the concert Bug's dad told me where the seating was right when I walked in the door in case I needed it which was super nice and then during the meet and greet you complimented the pattern on my cane and it all made me feel a lot less self conscious about using a mobility aid. So thank y'all for that! And thank y'all for the awesome concert, my fiancée and I have been listening to both of you for years and it was so cool to be able to see y'all live!!!

the pattern was so cool! that sort of deep red / black is my vibe. and one of the first things papabug asks when we get to a new venue is "Okay, who do we have on the guestlist that needs a chair? where can we put the chairs?" - he really has that shit wrapped up, it's awesome

self diagnosed, when i was younger i would constantly have meltdowns that would present as just crying or "tantrums" to adults. i was never really met with any sympathy from them and simply labelled sensitive by my peers, which they would use to exclude me from games and mock me. slowly i just learned to keep those meltdowns in to avoid being ridiculed.

id hold in my tears and mask my overwhelm which made me depressed for a long time. im still trying to figure out what my meltdowns look like now and unlearning how ive been taught to mask my pain.

I’m super curious what other self diagnosed, late diagnosed people thought about their meltdowns prior to discovering the autistic community. For example I remember a girl in my class missing a few days of school and when we asked about her the teacher just said she had a mental breakdown and I was like, so what? Something had happened in her family life and everyone was really worried but I could not for the life of me understand why everyone was making such a big deal about a mental breakdown, like hello- I have those every other day.

Of course I understand the difference now and have certainly experienced both but I had such a hard time understanding why everyone cared about her and not about me at the time. She missed a week of school and with how poor my mental health and accommodations were at the time I probably had four to seven meltdowns of varying intensity in that amount of time. I’d even tell friends and family that I had mental breakdowns and they were like “sure awesome go help with dinner okay?”

And of course I thought I was having some type of breakdown or psychotic episode, I was depressed, burnt out, overwhelmed, isolated, and every day I either collapsed into bed the second I got home or sat on my bedroom floor sobbing, pulling my hair, hitting myself, hitting my walls, pacing, rocking, and covering my ears.

The point of writing this is that I’d be incredibly interested in other late or self diagnosed peoples experience and thoughts with meltdowns before knowing what was really going on.
