morning of 18 may 2024—jgh from market shopping 🍖🍅🧂🦐🥚 we got up as early as 5am bc izz hard to find a parking spot on a weekend morning at the market hehe got all the goods we needed in an hour bc we're lightning mcqueen kachow jk lol wtvr as soon as we got all the goods we were outta there bc we hv to meal prep our furbebis' meals for two weeks, place all of them in their chest freezer, and then organize our stocks in our refrigerator and pantry as well

our morning is going pretty well and im actually proud and happy that we got up that early since we had a late night last night bc some of my sibs had a sleepover here at our place ykwim like 💕🍻✨️

Pam losing friends wasn't a normal thing.

And yet, here she was: Feeling like she lost a friend.

Gio. God, Pam felt like an idiot not knowing how she felt, feeling like shit having to reject her because her heart was elsewhere and was accept. Though her heart was happy, she was happy, she... wasn't.

Gio didn't want to talk to her. Anything she had to say to her had to go through everyone else. So, Pam did what she could. She asked Charlie to keep an eye on Gio because she couldn't and wasn't going to force herself to.

When your heart wears thin I will hold you up...

Pam was alone momentarily, in an area on her own as she had her phone in her hands, a text written out but not sent.

Hey... I know you said not to talk to you, but I am just checking on you. I'm sorry again... even if you tell me to stop or... I shouldn't apologize, I will. Probably forever...

Pam shut her eyes as she clenched her jaw. It pained her. Gio was one of her closest friends, in fact one of her top best friends, that had been through thick and thin with her, one of the few that seen her at her lowest.

Now? She was... Pam couldn't even describe it other than she felt like she lost a friend, all due to not feeling the same.

"Fuck..." Pam breathed, sniffling as she felt tears coming on. It had been like this for weeks since the last talk had happened via text. Pam had just been good at hiding it this whole time. Lucky her that she could. She shouldn't care so much, but she did and Pam was the kind of person to care. In fact, she probably cared too much and yet...

She never could stop.

Pam felt the tears rolled down her cheeks and she wiped them, shaking her head to herself. 'No... I can't. I told her I won't... I promised.' She thought before she erased the text. She just stared at that last text from Gio and she felt the same pain she did then. This was her fault, but she knew Gio had to heal...

So why did this make her feel like shit?

"I care too much..." She whispered to herself before she just locked her phone and put it in her pocket. That was true, she cared too much. Her friends were everything to her as she hoped she was everything to them. It was always the thing with her.

Wiping her eyes, she stood up straight and shut her eyes, taking a few deep breaths to calm and subside the feeling of wanting to cry to the side and she started to walk, getting more into view with being backstage and moving to start heading back to the car to her hotel room. She had to fake things for now. She had to. No one was allowed to know about how she felt with this. In fact, she didn't think this feeling mattered because why would she still be stuck on this?

To her?

Losing a friend wasn't a normal thing.
