Clifford the Big Red Dog is finally ready to enter the real world. In the past, there have been animated TV series, videos, and films featuring the beloved children’s book character, but now Clifford the Big Red Dog gives the franchise its first live-action entry. John Cleese stars as the man who gives the pint-sized puppy Clifford to his young new owner, and he told us why he — contrary to his reputation as one of the architects of the Monty Python troupe — loves being able to make films like this.
