spidermew began in shiki's high school years. she discovered her powers at a Halloween party where she made her debut as spider mew (accidentally). though she had many accomplishments, she lost her best friend and first love eri. her death motivated shiki to continue following after their dreams of fashion.

moving into college, she had difficulty juggling her college life and superhero life. in one of her art classes, she meets neku sakuraba. she doesn't know much about him... besides the fact he's a little standoffish at first and a big fan of spider mew…? shiki has to make sure neku doesnt find out her secret identity! (spoilers, he does)

neku has a larger role than just being a fan. please look forward to it!💜💚
